Jag gillade läget. Att vi bodde i uppe i Montalcino. Allt var så nära

Frukosten var inte bra. Äggröran var gjord på pulver och alla frukter var omogna.

Der Garten mit Pool und dieser wunderschönen Aussicht ist absolut traumhaft. Und trotz alledem befindet man sich unmittelbar an der Altstadt. Die Lage rechtfertigt den etwas hohen Preis.

The view from the room was stunning. I woke up to the sunrise and watched the light change over the hills and mountains.

The bed was a bit to hard for my liking but that's just my preference.

Pool and restaurant have an amazing view. Staff is attentive and friendly.

Personale cordiale e disponibile, vista spettacolare e colazione con buona varietà di scelta. Molto pulito e stanze spaziose.

La posizione è sicuramente il punto forte della struttura: trovandosi in pieno centro a Montalcino, permette di girare a piedi con grandissima comodità e raggiungere tutti i punti di interesse, i ristoranti e i negozi in pochi minuti. Ci tengo inoltre a menzionare il personale addetto alle pulizie, davvero molto gentile, simpatico e sempre disponibile.

Purtroppo l'esperienza complessiva è stata segnata da troppi disagi. La prima notte ci è stata assegnata una camera sulla strada, proprio davanti all'area di carico e scarico merci dell'hotel; l'insonorizzazione era praticamente inesistente e si sentiva continuo baccano sia da fuori sia dai corridoi interni. Abbiamo chiesto un cambio e ci hanno gentilmente spostato in una camera soppalcata vista piscina. Purtroppo, una notte in cui ha piovuto forte, verso mezzanotte ha iniziato a piovere direttamente dentro la stanza. L'operatore presente ci ha portato un secchio facendoci capire che dovevamo un attimo adattarci; vista l'ora abbiamo evitato l'ennesimo trasloco, ma la situazione è stata davvero imbarazzante. La nota più stonata è stata al check-out: neanche una mezza scusa per i cambi di camera o per l'acqua dal soffitto. Anche la colazione, infine, è risultata abbastanza anonima e non all'altezza delle aspettative.

Ambiente splendido, personale fantastico, tutto perfetto. La vista dalla camera, dalla terrazza dove si faceva colazione o dalla piscina era mozzafiato.

Atendimento impecável, localização maravilhosa, da piscina tem uma vista deslumbrante, café da manhã com o melhor croissant que já comi, dias pra ficar na memória.

Posizione molto comoda come punto di partenza per girare la val d’Orcia in macchina. Posizione centrale anche nel paese, con piccolo parcheggio a disposizione, altrimenti tramite l’hotel si può prenotare il parcheggio a pagamento al costo di 4€ al giorno. Staff molto cordiale e disponibile, soprattutto alla colazione.

Camera poco illuminata (noi eravamo in tre nella camera con soppalco)

La posizione dell'hotel è eccellente in quanto si trova in centro ma fuori dalla Ztl. Anche se si trova in una zona in discesa c'è modo di fermare la macchina e scaricare i bagagli. Parcheggio convenzionato davvero conveniente, vista della piscina davvero favolosa e staff gentile sorridente e veramente amichevole. Servizio bar nelle ore di apertura della piscina davvero molto gradito e dai modi gentili e professionali con un buon assortimento e cocktail ben fatti. Bar la mattina che fa cappuccini e ogni sorta di bevande espresse davvero eccezionali. Selezione di salumi del buffet fresco e di zona e si può percepire la differenza per chi è esperto a riguardo. Ci è stata fornita una camera più grande e migliore rispetto a quella prenotata, cosa che abbiamo molto apprezzato. Servizio pulizia delle camere attento e particolareggiato, non ho trovato un grammo di polvere da nessuna parte, condizionatori silenziosi, e mobiletto in bagno per riporre tutto davvero comodo. Consiglio di mettere le indicazioni per Montalcino e non per l'hotel o inizialmente Google vi farà fare una strada sterrata. Reception sempre disponibile e attenta ad ogni esigenza, sia per il parcheggio che per tutto.

Semplice osservazione e non lamentela sulla colazione migliorabile in fatto di assortimento, sia come quantità che come tempistiche, nel senso se si arrivava già alle 9 sia i succhi che le brioches erano finiti o non disponibili o davvero poco riassortiti come quantità. Aumenterei o renderei maggiormente chiari le opzioni per chi è celiaco o intollerante. Per esempio fornendo informazioni se i dolci del giorno sono o no con opzioni senza lattosio, ad esempio.

Locatie was fantastisch aan de rand van het oude centrum. Ook ideaal om naar de wijnhuizen te gaan. Erg schoon, heel vriendelijk personeel en een top ontbijt met een prachtig uitzicht vanaf het terras. Klein maar fijn zwembad met uitzicht, heerlijk!

Opinia Niestety pobyt w tym hotelu okazał się dużym rozczarowaniem, szczególnie biorąc pod uwagę cenę. Dostaliśmy bardzo ciemny pokój, praktycznie bez dostępu do światła i bez widoku na wzgórza, mimo że inne pokoje w hotelu miały piękne widoki. To właśnie widoki i basen są jednymi z głównych atrakcji tego miejsca, dlatego tym bardziej trudno zrozumieć, dlaczego za tak wysoką cenę otrzymaliśmy pokój, w którym człowiek ma ochotę jedynie spać, a nie spędzać wakacje. Dodatkowo przy wymeldowaniu pojawiły się nieoczekiwane koszty. Naliczono nam podatek, o którym wcześniej nie zostaliśmy jasno poinformowani i który musieliśmy zapłacić gotówką. Na rachunku próbowano również doliczyć 6 piw, których nigdy nie zamawialiśmy. Dopiero po naszej interwencji zostało to wyjaśnione. Uważam, że przy takiej cenie wszystkie dodatkowe opłaty powinny być jasno przedstawione przed pobytem, a rachunek powinien dokładnie odpowiadać temu, co faktycznie zamówili goście. Hotel ma naprawdę piękne położenie i potencjał, ale w naszym przypadku stosunek ceny do jakości zdecydowanie się nie obronił. Jeśli najważniejszym atutem obiektu mają być basen i piękne widoki na wzgórza, gość powinien mieć świadomość, że może dostać zupełnie inny pokój — ciemny, bez widoku i zdecydowanie nieadekwatny do ceny.

Il parcheggio, avevamo chiesto se ci fosse la possibilità del parcheggio interno, ma avendo pochi posti non c’era posto. Ciò nonostante ci hanno fornito un parcheggio poco distante convenzionato con loro.

Loved our stay here! We requested rooms with a view and it was 100% worth it. The views and the pool are unbeatable on a hot summer day in Tuscany! We also very much enjoyed the breakfast - good food, kind people working the breakfast area. A great place to stay while in Montalcino!

The pool and poolside restaurant are absolutely perfection. Montalcino is a beautiful town and provided the best food of our entire trip.

Bra läge nära restauranger, utsikten från hotellet var magisk. Bra frukost och rummet var bra. Personalen vid receptionen var väldigt trevlig och serviceminded.

the good first. great location imo on the side of montalcino, lovely views from the pool. room was quite nice, spacious, clean. small minibar/fridge, toiletries.. quiet. reception staff were nice. cappuccino at breakfast & the views from the brekkie were amazing! maybe if anything. please note they don't have parking places, you'll be directed to (paid) public parking up the hill. the pool area has limited availability of sunbeds & as the sun sets on the other side, somewhere after 3pm places start to be in shade. be aware if you're elderly the road up&down the hill to hotel is quite steep. but surely that's expected in place built on hill anyway)) overall I'd happily come back.

Perfekt für die Altstadt von Montalcino, trotzdem ruhig gelegen mit einem traumhaften Pool und sehr zuvorkommenden Mitarbeitenden!

(Da muss ich lange suchen: die Fahstuhlmusik am Pool ist wohl unnötig und die steile Einfahrt zum Parkplatz kratzt an Autos mit langem Radstand)

Stunning view, swimming pool with terrace looking out to the valley, amazing breakfast, spacious rooms. Friendly and helpful staff. Good parking and location of the hotel is just perfect.

The fact that there was a pool, the pool was really nice and had an awesome view of the Tuscan countryside. The staff was also really nice and enthusiastically helped us try and find different channels on the TV.

The window of my room opened directly onto the street, so I had to keep it closed the entire time and felt like I was staying in a cell. Considering that I paid €136.08 for the room, I'm wondering if I was given one of the worst rooms because I booked through Booking.com. Could you please explain?

Die Lage des Hotels ist traumhaft, man ist in 5 Minuten zu Fuß im Zentrum. Der Pool, und die Terrasse sind wunderschön gelegen mit toller Aussicht, alles sehr entspannend. Das Personal ist durchwegs sehr freundlich.

Die Parkplatzsituation ist in der Altstadt nicht einfach, wurde aber zufriedenstellend gelöst. Das Hotel ist sicher schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, hat aber viel Atmosphäre.

The view is spectacular from the rooms, restaurant and the pool. Very authentic and build traditional. Staff is super friendly.

Bathroom is too small and shower is very tiny but if you want the best view in a great location and use the shower for cleaning not for an experience it is absolutely compensating.

Can’t fault anything. As they point out in literature the hotel is less suitable for less able people as it is built on a hill side. It is a short steep walk to level ground when walking into the town centre. There is a lift in the hotel.

I could not fault this hotel. Amazing view, lovely pool, great breakfast, very clean, great room and lovely, helpful staff. Will plan to stay again and recommend to everyone visiting the area. We were able to park on the street outside as we were there at the weekend. The street leading from the hotel into town is a bit of a climb, but typically of a hilltop town.

Ottima esperienza. La piscina è il vero fiore all'occhiello della struttura e la colazione è eccellente, con ampia scelta. Ho apprezzato particolarmente la gentilezza del personale: una sera, a causa della pioggia, ci hanno persino offerto degli ombrelli. Piccoli gesti che fanno la differenza. Consigliatissimo!!

L'unica piccola difficoltà riguarda il parcheggio: arrivando per la prima volta non è immediato capire dove lasciare l'auto. Una volta presa confidenza con la zona, però, si trovano diversi parcheggi a pagamento molto comodi nelle vicinanze. Se dovessi suggerire un miglioramento, consiglierei di fornire indicazioni più precise su come raggiungere l'hotel. Nel nostro caso, Google Maps ci ha fatto percorrere una strada piuttosto tortuosa e poco piacevole, che potrebbe non essere adatta a tutti i veicoli o a chi soffre l'auto. Sarebbe utile indicare il percorso alternativo più comodo e agevole.

Una struttura con i spazi comuni fantastici, senza paragoni. La vista dalla terrazza mozzafiato, piscina spettacolare, anche molto profonda. Piacevole l'aperitivo al tramonto, buona colazione. Staff molto gentile e simpatico.

Le camere sono ok, la nostra non era grandissima, i bagni non recentissimi.

Jättetrevlig personal och trivsamt rum. Boendet/ poolområdet och frukost serveringen har en magisk utsikt över landskapet nedanför staden. Man bor ett par stenkast från huvudgatan med restauranger och små butiker. Helt klart ett kanonläge att bo på.

Minha experiência ficou aquém do esperado. O atendimento foi pouco acolhedor e, em alguns momentos, demonstrou falta de cordialidade. Além disso, os quartos e o mobiliário aparentam desgaste e necessitam de renovação. No momento do check-out, fui informada de que a taxa (impostos) só poderia ser paga em dinheiro, o que causou grande surpresa, já que essa exigência não foi mencionada durante o check-in nem em qualquer comunicação anterior. Mesmo explicando que estava atrasada para um compromisso, a atendente sugeriu que eu me dirigisse a um banco para sacar dinheiro, em vez de oferecer uma solução alternativa ou aceitar o pagamento por cartão de débito. Vale destacar que realizei o pagamento dessa mesma taxa por cartão em todos os outros hotéis onde me hospedei na região. Outro ponto negativo foi a recusa de um pedido simples para utilizar um ferro de passar roupa por poucos minutos. Por fim, a estrutura do hotel possui muitas escadas entre os quartos e as áreas comuns, o que dificulta significativamente o transporte de malas, especialmente para hóspedes com bagagens mais pesadas.

I spent a few days in Montalcino, where I wanted to work on my training materials in peace and quiet, surrounded by the Tuscan countryside, culture, and cuisine. But on the very day I arrived, I had to deal with a few ugly professional setbacks… The wonderful team at Dei Capitani did everything they could to help me get past them. And so, before long, the clouds had cleared. The hotel itself is lovely, and the breakfast terrace overlooking the Val d'Orcia is a real gem. Will stay again.... Thanks for everything!

Der größte Pluspunkt für dieses Hotel ist die Lage,direkt im Ort ,jedoch nicht in der ZTL Zone ,und die Aussicht,wir hatten Zimmer 201 mit einem Weitblick,echt ein Traum.Frühstück war sehr gut und auch meine Bedenken wegen eines Parkplatzes war unbegründet,konnte direkt beim Hotel parken

Das einzige das ich hier kritisieren kann,ist,dass die Zimmer sehr hellhörig sind und man kann verstehen was der Nachbar spricht.

We spent one night at Capitani during a Tuscany cycling tour . What a fantastic place. The best views over the Sienese landscape, great pool, walking distance to the centrum. 100% recommended.

Lovely hotel with stunning views. Breakfast was great and the staff were great too. Perfect location for exploring a lovely town with nice shops and restaurants. 2 things to note but not negative!! Do not follow google maps if coming from Sienna and they send you up a farm track, turn back to the main road or you will regret as we did!! Secondly avoid the split level room unless you’re ok with steep stairs. We had to change and the staff could not have been more understanding!!

The location on the outskirts of old town meant great views and fairly quiet...apart from fellow guests. Lovely terrace, bar and pool.

The bed was a bit old and uncomfortable...might be time to upgrade.

Wir hatten zunächst ein Parterre-Zimmer auf die verkehrsreiche Quartierstrasse hinaus, konnten dann auf die Talseite mit grossartiger Aussicht wechseln. Personal ist um alles bemüht. Prima Frühstück in schönem Raum. Attraktive Terrasse.

Zimmer auf die Strassenseite sind nur nachts ruhig.

Property was beautiful and in great location near the main village streets. Very clean with a friendly and helpful staff. Dinner service was very good and our waitress Maria was very kind! Amazing views across the hillside. Wonderful breakfast buffet. They offered extra blankets as Italy tends to keep heat on the cooler side. Would stay again for sure.

We unfortunately had a rather old hotel room with two levels, meaning bed and bath were on different levels. The room was quite dark and old fashioned. I’d advise asking for a more modern room.

Spektakulär schöne Aussicht vom Zimmer und von der Terrasse vor dem Frühstücksraum. Sehr netter kleiner Pool mit Sonnenliegen. Schön renoviertes altes Haus, nur wenige Gehminuten vom Zentrum.
