Ved ankomst kan man parkere kortvarigt lige ved hotellet og derefter vil personalet parkere bilen påi privat parkeringsplads i nærheden - valet service er usædvanligt på mindre hoteller i Europa. Personalet er meget venligt og hotellet er et roligt og behageligt ældre hotel. God morgenmad.

Excellent, very central family-run traditional hotel. Nothing was too much trouble for the owners - always friendly and helpful, whatever the request! Breakfast was a delightful spread, including some excellent homemade cakes. Room was very comfortable and clean with a gorgeous view.

Everything about our stay was fabulous and exceeded our expectations. This is a family-run hotel, and the staff were incredibly kind from start to finish — they helped park our car, even lent us money for the laundromat nearby, and were so thoughtful about my gluten intolerance. Dinner was wonderful, and we had a table by the window with a beautiful view. Our room had a stunning terrace where I watched the sunrise over the Tuscan countryside — the views were unforgettable. The woman running the hotel even made me a gluten-free apple cake for breakfast, and the breakfast spread was excellent too. The warmth of the staff made us feel truly welcome. We can't wait to come back!

Gorgeous small hotel! The owners are more than gracious and helpful during our planning and our stay. We will return to this property and highly recommend it!

The hotel dates to 1900 and is family owned and run. Everyone was helpful and pleasant. The included breakfast was filling varied with meats, cheeses, fruits, vegetables, eggs, fresh juices and homemade breads. The room is modernized and had a beautiful view of the Tuscan countryside. Valet parking was convenient and timely. I would recommend to stay here.

There were no elevators and the rooms are on the 2nd and 3rd floors. If steps are a problem, then I would not recommend this hotel.

Quaint, boutique style. Exactly what we pictured for a stay Montalcino. Located right in the middle of the Main Street with shops and restaurants. Would recommend eating dinner at the hotel. We opted for the courses dinner as this is our favorite way to eat. This place topped our lists of dining experiences in Italy.

Essendo un palazzo storico non ha un ascensore e se lo avessi saputo non avrei portato i cani (non potendo loro fare le scale) li ho dovuti portare sempre su e giù almeno 3 volte al giorno in braccio.

Ho trascorso un soggiorno davvero piacevole in questo hotel, situato nel pieno centro di Montalcino, posizione perfetta per esplorare il borgo e godersi l’atmosfera unica del luogo. Mi sono sentito accolto fin dal primo momento: la struttura è curata, pulita e offre un ambiente rilassante. Un valore aggiunto è stato sicuramente il ristorante dell’hotel: ho avuto il piacere di cenare lì e sono rimasto davvero colpito. La cucina è squisita, con piatti preparati con attenzione e ingredienti di qualità. Ogni portata era ben presentata e ricca di sapore. Il personale si è dimostrato sempre gentile e disponibile, contribuendo a rendere l’esperienza ancora più positiva. Consiglio vivamente questo hotel a chi cerca comfort, ottima posizione nel cuore di Montalcino e un’eccellente esperienza culinaria.

This wonderful hotel is not to be missed. I was able to drive my car up the small streets of Montalcino directly to the front door, where the car was then valeted. The hotel is older and filled with old world charm; the owners themselves are working it, having done so for 30 years. The breakfast is fantastic. I dined there the first night and had some extremely fine Brunello di Montalcino, ordered by the glass, and an excellent dinner. I knew I was at the right place the moment I stepped in and wouldn't think of staying anywhere else in Montalcino.

Llegamos 21.38 y no nos dejaron cenar en el restaurant porque cerraba 21.30. Todo el resto del pueblo estaba cerrado y nos quedamos sin cenar. El resto hermoso, desayuno buenísimo, la habitación calentita y cómoda.

They make you pay for parking it should be included. And it took them forever in the morning to our car.

The location in town was wonderful and the view from our bedroom window spectacular. The breakfast was lovely with an incredible view too. We loved staying at this hotel in Montalcino and hope to return.

Tutto curato nei minimi particolari . Elegante ma con il sapore di una casa. Stanze comode e calde con una vista mozzafiato sulla vallata . Posizione nel centro di montalcino. Accoglienza attenta da parte degli host e di tutto lo staff. Il valore aggiunto è dato dalla presenza del ristorante, molto comodo per chi non ama gli spostamenti serali dopo una intera giornata in giro e con ottime proposte in menù di prodotti locali e rivisitazioni della tradizione.

Storica locanda in centro a Montalcino, oggi caldo albergo famigliare dove si respira l'aria elegante della bella Toscana rurale. Niente lusso, ma dettagli di qualità. Da provare anche il ristorante con una carta dei vini enciclopedica. Prezzi nella norma per Montalcino, dunque esagerati rispetto a quanto offre il paese, ma questo è un problema generale.

Le camere sono piacevolmente rustiche, qualche dettaglio funzionale (luna piccola biblioteca oltre le solite guide turistiche, una tv migliore, un frigobar locale) e moderno non guasterebbe. Qualche piccolo dettaglio da manutentare, nulla che turbi il confort generale.

Very good location

They did not let us turn on the A/C, the room was super hot all night. The room was a bit smelly and sheets not really smelling like were washed. Very strange.

The location I cation was ideal, in the middle of everything. Valet parking made luggage drop off and departure easy. The room.was slightly above average in size and nicely.furnished. Breakfast offered a good amount of choices.

My.only complaint was the size of the shower. I had to pull my arms in just to turn around.

Confortable stay in a spectacular scenery that lies right in front of your window. Great breakfast too with many selection on pastries and fresh made coffee by the house - all the italian goodies. Would definetely revisit when in town!

Friendly staff and beautiful view

It was an incredibly beautiful property lovingly looked after by the entire family. The owner greeted us and checked us in, his daughter was a helpful waitress and barista, his mother the cook and sometimes concierge, and his father the valet (which is such a nice perk in Montalcino where parking’s at a premium) and odd jobs man. It was lovely!!! With GORGEOUS views and an excellent restaurant, it could easily be an all-inclusive place. But why would you want that in Tuscany?? We cannot say enough about what a perfect property this is and how perfectly you are taken care of by the owner and his entire family. The fact that it is a family run operation made it all the more dear to us.

Localização excelente! Melhor impossível! A vista do quarto e do banheiro foi deslumbrante. Restaurante muito bom e com uma carta de vinhos excepcional.

Instalações muito antigas e, a meu ver, precisam de renovação para maior conforto. Tivemos problema de vazamento de agua do chuveiro. Por ser um prédio muito antigo, nao há elevador e subir 2 andares de escada com malas pesadas foi problemático.

We enjoyed our stay, the location was perfect. Right at the edge of the ZTL. We drove our car to the door and they parked it for us. Our room had some very nice views. The staff was very accommodating and the restaurant area below had a warm and comfortable atmosphere. The breakfast was one of the better ones we had experienced on our trip.

The particular night we were there, there was a event taking place at what looked like to be a theater. It was very load and lasted to about 1am. (or at least the noise in the street did). I suppose we should have just joined in. We didn't get much sleep that night. But if you want the location of being right in town this might be a worthwhile sacrifice. I will say it was a Saturday night as well.
