Reviewed Sep 7, 2026Lokalizacja: blisko do portu, blisko do uroczej dzielnicy gotyckiej, właściwie blisko do wielu atrakcji Barcelony, w pobliżu sklepy spożywcze, restauracje i knajpki. Czystość: świeża pościel, ręczniki, pokój wysprzątany i pachnący. Zabezpieczenie: w pokoju sejf, zamki magnetyczne, monitoring, recepcja. Działająca i bardzo wydajna klimatyzacja. Bardzo miła i uczynna obsługa

The hotel feels somewhat outdated. The bathtub was quite old, although it was clean. There was construction outside the hotel, which made it difficult for taxis to access the front entrance. We also noticed a significant number of homeless people in the surrounding area, and there was a noticeable smell of urine on the ground outside.

Reviewed Aug 26, 2026Conveniently located to Metro station. Within walking distance of the waterfront near the Christopher Columbus Monument. A few doors down from a convenience store were we got cold bottled water at a great price. The hotel safely stored our luggage on both ends of our stay. For an additional fee they offered a great hot breakfast. We took the metro to La Sagrada Familia, the Magic Fountain (go early and enjoy the buskers in front of the Art Museum), The Gaudi houses, The Mercat de la Boqueria. Walking distance to the Gothic quarter.
This is not something the hotel could control. Work was being done on the street in front of the hotel which made it a little harder for the taxi drop off and pick up. It was not an insurmountable problem we just had to go a short distance further with the luggage. We travel light so not a big deal.

We had a mixed experience across two rooms. The interior room was acceptable, but the bathroom lacked ventilation and had a heavy mold smell. We should have been warned in advance as is standard practice, or placed in quiet rooms away from the street construction.

Cleanliness
7/10Mostly praised as clean in many reviews, but occasional serious issues reported (dirty shower curtain, a reviewer reporting cockroaches) reduce the score.
Service
9.8/10Staff consistently described as helpful, attentive and friendly across multiple reviews, earning a very high score.
Location
9.6/10Frequently noted as centrally located and close to the Paral·lel metro / Montjuïc area; construction in the immediate vicinity is mentioned but location remains a strong positive.
Room Quality
6.5/10Mixed signals: some rooms described as beautiful and modern, but multiple comments on shabby/aged bathrooms, loose floorboards, thin walls, noisy AC and other wear-and-tear lower the rating.
Amenities
9.2/10Amenities such as air conditioning, provided shampoo/shower gel and coffee dosettes are appreciated; parking is limited/problematic for larger groups which slightly reduces the score.
Value for Money
6/10Several reviewers explicitly state the price felt too high for the condition and expected standards (poor price-performance), resulting in a below-target score.
Food and Beverage
9.4/10Breakfast and nearby coffee options received positive mentions (breakfast 'very good', use of corner coffee bar), supporting a strong rating despite limited direct mentions.
Overall Experience
9.7/10Overall impressions are largely positive — helpful staff, central location and clean rooms dominate — though some guests note noise, construction and dated bathroom elements.
