good location , but it was really really too noises until 1:00am in the morning because of the tram outside running starts from 5:00am to 1:00am .

it didn't worth the money with this hotel at all .

Foi nossa segunda experiência neste hotel. É muito confortável, tem excelente localização para quem chega ou sai de trem e para aqueles que pretendem fazer bate-voltas, pois fica em frente à estação. Os funcionários são atenciosos e gentis.

Desta vez, estava fazendo calor, e o ar condicionado não foi eficiente para deixar uma temperatura agradável. Feita a observação no balcão de atendimento, a funcionária ofereceu um ventilador, que não atendeu ao objetivo, pois era barulhento e acrescentaria novo problema: além do calor, teríamos de dormir com um ruído desagradável. Deixo como sugestão para o café da manhã a instalação de máquina de café a ser operada pelos hóspedes, caso desejem, como em quase todo hotel atualmente.

I had a family room which was spacious and with 2 bath.

Good location but I would rate the property as a 4 star; the lobby and the elevators are dated.

amazing location, amazing service, would 1000000% recommend and go again. Staff uniformly friendly. Clearly made efforts to welcome us. Remembered us later in the day. The location is steps away from the train station. Will definitely return if we come back to Zurich.

This hotel is in a prime location, directly across the street from the central train station, Zurich HB and one block from the main shopping street. I was given a complimentary upgrade to a two-room suite, with balcony. The welcome gift included fruit and chocolates! The living room had a nice sofa, large desk, and minibar. The bedroom had two closets, and the bed adjusted up or down if you would like to read in bed. The bathroom had a large assortment of small toiletries, which is becoming rarer today, especially in U.S. hotels. They offer turndown service, and afterward a chocolate cart arrives. The room was noisy at night if you left the windows open, due to all the bars and restaurants in the area. However, it was so warm all week in Zurich, we kept the windows closed, and the A/C on. The staff was excellent, from check-in until check-out. Staying at this hotel, you are within 15 minutes of the airport, the waterfront and countless shops and museums. I cannot recommend this hotel enough for those visiting Zurich for business or pleasure. It is truly a gem.

Great staff, they were all very helpful and kind. The rooms were nice and beds were comfy. The bell hops are icons, the cafe has great food. Best hotel in the center of Zurich.

Friendly breakfast staff, Mr. Chocolate 🍫 every night nice and humble, adjustable bedding keeps my back sleep comfy, fast and easy check in and out. Brilliant 😍

The facilities, surroundings, and service were all excellent.

However, the breakfast was somewhat disappointing and not particularly tasty. On the first morning, we ordered two omelettes, but only one was served.

Sicht im dritten Geschoss direkt auf den Hauptbahnhof. Schönes Zimmer stilvoll und eingerichtet, mit guter Gesamtausstattung. Sehr nettes und hilfsbereites Personal welches auch Deutsch spricht. Nette und sympathische Geburtstagsüberraschung vom Hotel zum Frühstück.

Das Olivenöl welches wir separat zum Nachtessen bestellt haben war nicht frisch. Beim Frühstück war die Auswahl an Fleisch und Gemüse etwas karg, der Speck war totgebraten.

Everything about our stay was truly excellent. The only aspect that did not match the standards of a five-star hotel of this level was the breakfast. We expected a much wider variety and better selection considering the overall quality of the hotel.

We loved our stay here! It is in the perfect location to get wherever you need to in Zurich. The train station is right across the street. The staff is very friendly and the hotel is beautiful.

Great hotel in a great location. Heard little noise even though the hotel is on a busy street directly across from the train station.

AWFUL hotel and experience. I don't know how they got upgraded to 5 stars. This hotel is definitely in the range of 3 stars maybe 4 on good day. I was upgraded to a junior suite and it was awful. I would hate to see what a regular room looks like.

The Schweizerhof is a comfortable hotel situated next to the the Zürich main railway station. Rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff are friendly. Breakfast bread and croissants a bit stale.

كان الفندق حار والتكيف لم يبرد مع ان الفندق ماقصروا غيروا غرفتي على طول واحضروا لي مروحه ولكن التكلفه مقابل المبلغ تعتبر جدا غاليه

The location is great and you can see the chapel bridge out from the window.

But there is no air conditioning and it is very very hot. If you open the windows, the noise from downstairs is pretty loud and there are also flies and bug coming in. The washing machine is not in unit and sometimes are occupied.

The location and the historic value of the property

The air condition issue that even though I understand it has to do with the Swiss regulations and restrictions on A/C, as a tourist in Zurich and a guest at a 5 star hotel of this caliber it is not my problem. With a temperature of 36 degrees outside it is totally unacceptable to have 31 degrees inside the room because the Swiss state controls the a/c operations restricting them to operate only 5 degrees below the outer temperature. The high room rate I pay it (should) provide air condition in the room but in my case not only they didn’t but I wasn’t even provided a fan to at least minimize the problem. Additionally the Hotel should inform the guests before booking that they will face this problem so that it will be my decision to proceed with the booking or not.

Amazing Hotel Good Location, nice people and everything was excellent. The Bedroom, the restaurant and the bar as well with the nice terrace.

Love the genuine service in this hotel. The proximity to the station is brilliant if you have onward travel or are arriving from the airport. Wonderful breakfast in a sumptuous dining room.

Straight out of the station to the front of the hotel. Staff took over our luggage and while checking in we were offered wine or orange juice. Staff were incredible and professional. We never had breakfast but did have dinner. The meal was as opulent as it was delicious, the staff once again made us feel special and the knowledge of the young waiters on wine, beer and food was excellent. We were given an upgrade to a Junior Suite with two bathrooms which made getting ready so easy. Bar staff were friendly and talkative and made a simple afternoon drink a pleasure. Chocolates on our pillows each night to the Butler with the complimentary snacks at 9pm made a lovely touch and once again sets the bar for other hotels. From check in to check out I have nothing but praise for this hotel and the staff.

The location of this hotel is unbeatable—it is directly across the street from the main train station (Hauptbahnhof). It truly represents the epitome of a classic Swiss hotel with excellent service and traditional charm. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Zürich!
