Splendid location

Not family friendly - 50 CHF per night for a baby bed is outrageous. Never happened to us before - personal was ok but we understood that the hotel is more adapted / targeted for adults - should be clear it’s an adult only hotel.

This was one of the most disappointing hotel experiences I have had. Unfortunately, the property did not meet our expectations at all, and the photos on Booking.com do not accurately reflect the current condition of the apartment. The location is extremely difficult to access by car. The road leading to the property is very narrow and steep, making the drive stressful and inconvenient, especially for families. The apartment was very old and extremely dirty. Although it had apparently been cleaned before our arrival, the standard of cleaning was unacceptable. It was so dirty that I had to buy disinfectant myself and disinfect the apartment before my family could comfortably use it. The overall condition was also much older and more worn than what we expected from the photos. The breakfast was very disappointing, with extremely limited choices and very little variety. The staff’s attitude and customer service were another major disappointment. I did not feel that our requests were handled in a welcoming or professional manner. There was no washing machine in the apartment, and when I requested an iron, my request was refused. There was also no air conditioning, and the apartment became extremely hot and uncomfortable. This made our stay particularly unpleasant. Overall, I would not recommend this property, especially for families.

Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis stimmt hier nicht. Einerseits ist die Zimmerausstattung den Preis nicht wert, andererseits erwarte ich beim Frühstück eine Anweisung. Wir wurden mehr oder weniger sitzen gelassen, ohne Hinweis auf das Angebot aus der Küche.

C'est un lieu top. La chambre est très bien équipée et propre Le SPA est top. Sauna Hammam et piscine et jacuzzi avec vue sur les montagnes. Le petit déjeuner est bien. Le personnel vraiment agréable et professionnel. Vous bénéficiez de pass pour les transports et téléphérique.

Le petit déjeuner pourrait être amélioré avec des plats chauds type omelettes. ? Climatisation ?

I had a wonderful stay at the Hotel and can highly recommend it. From the warm welcome to the moment I checked out, everything was simply perfect. The entire team was incredibly friendly, professional, and attentive, making me feel welcome throughout my stay. My room was spotless, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. The peaceful atmosphere and lovely surroundings made the experience even more enjoyable. You can truly see the care and dedication that goes into providing such excellent service. L’accueil de la réception était vraiment parfait, dans ma langue, en français. Attentionné, professionnel et compétent. Le petit-déjeuner est fabuleux sur une terrasse ombragée donnant sur un beau jardin et une vue époustouflante. C’est un établissement qui vaut le déplacement, je recommande vivement!

SPA, excellent restaurant and breakfast and wonderful views

Die Lage der Wohnung ist ausgezeichnet, in wenigen Gehminuten ist man in der Dorfmitte. Das Frühstück bietet viel und ist frisch. Die Küche in der Wohnung ist grosszügig und mit dem wichtigsten ausgestattet. Zwei Badezimmer sind vorhanden (1x Dusche/1x Badewanne mit je 1 WC). Die Dusche ist grosszügig. Schönes und sehr leckeres Kuchen-/Dessertbuffet am Nachmittag. Wellnessbereich ist schön/ok, leider ist das Wasser im Innenpool viel zu kalt. Zahlreiche Saunen sind vorhanden. Toller Aussenpool mit angenehmer Wärme.

Die Wohnung ist für bis 4 Personen ausgeschrieben, ich kann mir aber nicht vorstellen, mit mehr als 2 Personen über mehrere Tage darin zu sein. Möglichkeit zum Verstauen von Kleider, etc ist ziemlich wenig vorhanden. Im "Elternschlafzimmer" hat es einen kleineren Kasten, im anderen Zimmer nur eine kleine Kommode. In beiden Badezimmern besteht keine Möglichkeit den Kulturbeutel abzustellen. Dazu hat es im Gang ein zusätzliches Gestell, was nicht so praktisch ist. Die Badezimmerspiegel sehen zwar toll aus, sind aber überhaupt nicht für Badezimmer gemacht. Klein, weit weg und z.Bsp. zum schminken oder rasieren nicht geeignet. Das Personal war jedes mal erstaunt, wenn wir unsere Zimmer/Wohnungs-Nr. für die Tischzuteilung beim Frühstück oder Nachmittagskaffee erwähnten. Es gab uns das Gefühl, dass wir nicht willkommen sind.

Wir hatten uns kurzfristig entschieden nach Adelboden zu fahren und kamen durch Booking.com zum Bellevue Parkhotel & Spa. dass wir vorher nicht kannten. Wir sind total begeistert von diesem Hotel, alles war einfach genial, von der Freundlichkeit des Personals, die Qualität des Zimmers, das Essen und der Wellness-Bereich. Die Sauberkeit war ausgezeichnet. Die Ambiente des Hotels hat uns extrem gefallen.

Am Abend gibt es nur dieses Menu mit klitzekleinen Gängen (Pinzetten-Küche), eine Alternative für Liebhaber der währschaften Küche wäre gut.

La camera spaziosa, ben arredata e con letti molto comodi. La colazione buonissima e variegata. La gentilezza dello staff e la posizione molto comoda per scoprire Adelboden. La spa molto bella, soprattutto il venerdì quando è meno affollata.

La vista sulla montagna in realtà era limitata dal fatto di avere un grande "terrazzo" (nonché tetto del blocco sottostante) tutto grigio e abbastanza trascurato. Offrono una piccola merenda per gli ospiti nel pomeriggio ma le bevande sono da pagare extra, non è stato molto chiaro.

Simply fabulous!! We arrived wet and tired after a long day's walk to be greeted by the wonderful Brigitte...so welcoming and couldn't do enough to help. As a trailer was blocking the view from our booked room we were generously given an upgrade to a 2 bed apartment. It was fabulous...clean, bright, modern with all sorts of thoughtful extras. The rest of the hotel followed suit !! Beautiful dining room and terrace with superb mountain views. Buffet style breakfast had a wonderful selection, beautiful breads and simply delicious. A fabulous modern style spa complex, always plenty of room. It also includes a free chairlift and bus pass which was a real bonus for our walking. It's also an easy walk into town if you can bear to leave the lovely hotel !!

Can't fault anything! Undoubtedly one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in.

The room was poorly equipped; there was no hair conditioner (which is a standard nowadays); the ambiente in the room is rather basic and lot of stuff requires renovation. The most disappointing was dinner in the hotel restaurant. The meal size (we took 2-course menu) was so small that we literally thought it was a joke. The price for each meal was CHF 30, and we were served a fork size of the pasta as first course and then a finger size of the beef as the second course. It was simply a joke and disrespectful. There is far too much stuff in the restaurant, which results in a chaotic "organization", the left hand does not know what the right is doing. We've been asked by 2 waiters 4 times which wine we ordered and waited for it nearly 30 minutes. All in all, very poorly organized hotel. It looks nice from the outside, but huge area for improvement inside.

This is a lovely hotel with friendly, helpful staff. We had a Mountain View room on the fourth floor that was spacious and clean. We had a balcony with chairs to watch the sun go down. Everyone has time to talk to you, from the staff at the front desk to the room attendants and restaurant staff. We had the half board option and have to say that the food was superb. It was beautifully presented and fresh. There was a good choice and the menu changed daily. The only gripe I have is that we were charged 7chf for tap water. This is common practice in Switzerland now. When you buy an expensive bottle of wine each night, it grates to have to pay for something that is essentially a human right. The spa area was extensive with sauna and steam rooms along with indoor and outdoor pools. In our package, we were entitled to a massage. Helga was amazing and tailored our treatment to accommodate our aches and pains! She really helped my back problem and took time to explain exercises that would help. Another plus was free access to all the gondolas and cable cars in the area, along with buses. This was a huge saving. It was the first time we had been to Adelboden and it won’t be our last! Thank you to all the staff for their warm welcome!

Diner reservation, table not ready and original given away (maître d‘hotel) Overpriced diner: diner not up to standard (meat preparation, dessert was underwhelming for 15/20 points in Gault Millau?) promised wine refill (by maître -d’hotel) never happened, Cleanup of the billing required in the evening (drinks mixed, diner missing… ) with help of waitress…

The staff who served us dinner on our first night and who served us breakfast first two mornings were very helpful.

Breakfast didn’t have a lot of options, no hot food available except the eggs you could order. When asked if there are any hot food available, was rudely told by one lady staff that this is what Swiss breakfast looks like. Our room didn’t have a view, which is ok as they didn’t have availability. However, while allocating our table for breakfast/dinner, we always got same table with no view. Would have been nice to be seated with view some days especially when all other tables were empty. Hotel offered us lift to the bus stop, which was very nice of them. However, the driver was absolutely rude. We decided not to tip him even though we had already taken out money for it. The worst part was this hotel didn’t have step free access. With a toddler on a stroller, it was very difficult to get up and down the hotel. And no staff comes to offer you help. For the price you pay, one can expect to have few services to make your stay better.

Very good location with nice views. The staff were attentive and friendly. Great decoration, the lobby felt like a cosy living room. The quality and offer at the breakfast buffet was excellent. Free parking provided.

Daily room cleaning could have been more thorough. The pet fee was 30 CHF per night but no extras were provided, e.g. dog bed, bowls or treats.

The spas and sauna were beautifully appointed and enjoyable. A good size indoor swimming pool was a bonus. Great breakfasts. Good design deco throughout the hotel. Very helpful and friendly staff. Attention to detail very much appreciated. The location was excellent.

Location within the village is great and nice view from the apartment of the mountains. The apartment was warm and spacious. Towels provided.

We took a two bed apartment which had no room service or telephone to connect to the reception, whilst on Booking.com it says it has room service. No coffee machine which we had to ask for. In terms of the cleaning, the floors were dusty including under the dining table in the kitchen.

Positives: beautiful location and building with lovely common spaces, cute branding, and upscale rooms. Very clean with unique decor and top notch breakfast. Location to gondola could not be better, it is steps away. Staff were very friendly and staffing was ample. However, it was much more family friendly than we would have hoped as we were anticipating a peaceful spa retreat. Would not recommend for a romantic couples trip. My 3/5 is based on the below and I realize this is hyper critical but for nearly $700 USD a night and a Relais chateaux property we expected better. If you are looking for a romantic trip spend the extra $ to stay at one of the adult only hotel/spas offered by Relais Chateaux in Switzerland. There is a huge difference between a spa that includes an indoor pool and a kid friendly indoor pool that is connected to a spa. This is unfortunately the latter, but I feel like it is advertised as a relaxing peaceful retreat. It is likely to not be so peaceful based on your luck of who else is staying there during your stay. Children are allowed to use both the indoor and outdoor pool both of which are connected to spa areas and relaxation areas. This completely defeats the purpose of quiet, reflective relaxation areas. Every splash of the pool is completely audible from the indoor saunas and steam rooms even with the sauna doors closed. Kids will be kids and should be expected to make noise in a pool, and that is fair for them to want to use the indoor pool too, but not while others are trying to use silent spa areas. Therefore this could easily be solved by having kids / family hours for the pool and silent hours or different time slots of some sort. We reached out to the hotel during our stay about the noise issues and did not hear back. I understand that disrespectful parents are not the fault of the hotel but it could easily be fixed by them with different time slots to make all guests happy and make it fair for all. My husband and I based our entire trip to Switzerland on visiting this hotel and were very disappointed by the lack of enforcement of spa policies and several families of loud children who ruined our spa experience each day. While the hotel has a tiny notice in the spa bags for parents to make sure children are respectful in the pool and don’t make too much noise, that isn’t realistic and kids will be kids. For that reason they need to have their own time slots. We were also given the wrong room key at check in which was awkward and found it very bizarre that you have to sit at the same table every day for breakfast. It might even be for dinner too but we elected not to dine at the hotel when we saw how many kids were staying there. Did not want to have a $300 dinner with a side of kids yelling. In conclusion would recommend if you have kids and also like saunas but not for a romantic retreat.
