Great location, next to the Pfennisseg cable car station. Secure underground parking was available, 1st car was free, 2nd car we had to pay £20 for. Hotel staff very friendly and gave good recommendations. Apartment big enough for 2 families, we only stayed overnight so didn't make use of kitchen etc. Breakfast was in the hotel a 5 min drive away, standard continental buffet style.

Charge for 2nd car was unexpected considering the cost of the apartment itself, and the apartment block being seemingly empty of other guests.

繁忙期で良い部屋は空いてなかったかもしれないが、アパートの設備は今一歩。眺望もアパートの一階だったので期待したほどではなかった。また移動した後の部屋は二階の音もうるさく洗濯機もなく問題が多かった。コストに合わない。

é um pouco distante do centro - o deslocamento à pé leva uns 25 minutos e a geografia é montanhosa. também não consegui carregar o carro elétrico nas instalações (tinha um carregador mas estava sempre ocupado).

An absolutely stunning property with breathtaking views of Switzerland’s snow-capped mountains right from the living room and outdoor seating area. The scenery is so beautiful that you can simply sit back, relax, and enjoy nature without going anywhere else. Perfect for those seeking peace, tranquility, and unforgettable mountain views. For nature lovers, this place is truly a paradise. Highly recommended!

The breakfast was good and perfectly fine for a short stay of one or two days. However, for longer stays, it can feel a bit repetitive. Adding a little more variety to the menu each day would make the experience even better.

Loved the chalet number 3 serviced apartment - good location and walking distance to Grindelwald center. Parking is just below the serviced apartments and the main hotel is a short walk up the hill. Kids loved the chalet style and mezzanine roof play area. Kitchen and balcony area were bonuses. Large and spacious, can sleep 5. Breakfast in the main hotel was good.

تجربتي في هذا الفندق كانت — وبكل أسف — من أسوأ التجارب على الإطلاق. منذ اللحظة الأولى، كانت الصدمة في الارتفاع المبالغ فيه للأسعار مقارنةً بما يقدّمه المكان من خدمةٍ متواضعة وغرفٍ تفتقر إلى أبسط مقوّمات الراحة والنظافة. الغرفة وإن كانت واسعة نسبيًّا، إلا أن رائحتها الكريهة والمنفّرة أفسدت كلّ ما يمكن اعتباره إيجابيًّا؛ إذ انتشرت فيها رائحة خانقة تشبه الغاز أو شيئًا فاسدًا مجهول المصدر، مما جعل الإقامة فيها أشبه بعقوبةٍ لا راحةً. أما الحمّام، فحدّث ولا حرج. قديمٌ ومهترئ، وتجهيزاته بالية تكاد تنعدم. لم نجد سوى صابون رديء ومواد متواضعة لا تليق بفندقٍ بهذا السعر، مع غيابٍ تام لأبسط مستلزمات العناية الشخصية كأعواد الأذن أو مستحضرات النظافة الأساسية. الإنارة خافتة إلى حدّ الكآبة، والجوّ العام يوحي بالإهمال والقدم، وكأن المكان لم يشهد أيّ تجديد منذ سنوات طويلة. حتى أرضية الغرفة الخشبية كانت تصدر أصواتًا مزعجة، وتفوح منها رائحة عفنٍ نفّاذة يُحتمل أنها السبب الرئيس لتلك الرائحة المنتشرة في الغرفة. ولم يقتصر الإزعاج على ذلك، إذ كانت المياه في الحمّام باردة تمامًا، خالية من أيّ دفء، مما جعل الاستحمام تجربةً مزعجة وغير مريحة على الإطلاق. الجانب الوحيد الذي يمكن الإشادة به هو موقع الفندق المقبول وإطلالته الجميلة نسبيًّا، غير أنّ الشرفات المشتركة مع الغرف المجاورة أفقدت النزلاء الشعور بالخصوصية والأمان. أما القمّة في السوء فكانت في ضعف الخدمة وسوء المعاملة. دفعتُ ما يقارب ألفًا وخمسمائة شيكل لليلة واحدة، ومع ذلك طُلِبَ مني دفع مبلغٍ إضافي مقابل كبسولات القهوة! أمرٌ لا يُصدَّق لفندقٍ بهذا المستوى. وفي وجبة الإفطار، تجلّى ضعف التنظيم وقلة اللياقة في التعامل، إذ كان الاستقبال مترددًا وغير ودودٍ بما يكفي، مما ترك انطباعًا سلبيًّا للغاية. أما الإفطار نفسه فكان مقبولًا من حيث الجودة، لكنه لا يعوّض ما عانيناه من تجربةٍ مخيّبة تركت في النفس أثرًا سيئًا للغاية. الحمّام تحديدًا سبب لي نفورًا نفسيًّا شديدًا جعلني أعدّ الدقائق لمغادرة المكان. باختصار، لا أنصح مطلقًا بالإقامة في هذا الفندق. فعلى الرغم من موقعه الجيّد نسبيًا، إلا أن الخدمة الضعيفة، والرائحة الكريهة، والمياه الباردة، وسوء العناية بالنظافة تجعل منه تجربة لا يمكن تكرارها أبدًا

Magical location with stunning mountain and town views. Fantastic staff. Hotel itself is beautiful with a wonderful atmosphere.

본 건물과 좀 떨어져 있어서 조식 먹으러 갈 때 조금 걸어야 하긴 했지만 주변 풍광이 좋아서 산책하는 기분이었다. 기대했던 것 보다 숙소가 넓고 테라스 뷰도 좋았으며 부엌에 필요한 장비들이 거의 다 구비되어 있어서 식사를 준비해서 먹기 좋았다. 조식은 스위스 거의 모든 호텔들이 간단하게 나오는 것 같은데 과일이 없는 점 빼고는 만족스러웠다. 오후에는 케잌뷔페가 준비되어 있어서 간식으로 먹기 좋았다.

처음 예약했을때는 그린델발트역에서 좀 멀어보여서 걱정했으나 전혀 문제없었어요! 언덕이 있어서 캐리어 끌고 가기엔 힘들지만 짐없이 가볍게 걸어서 갈수있어요~ 위치 짱! 숙소는 말모말모 1층 독채로 사용했는데 넓고 쾌적하고 통창으로 보이는 뷰까지🫶 그리고 스위스에서 취사중요하죠~ 주방이 넖진않지만 두명이 충분히 조리 할수있는 공간이고 일단 식기류가 굉장히 관리가 잘되어있습니다ㅎㅎㅎ 안심하고 잘 사용했어요😄 유료지만 세탁건조기도 있어서 장기여행자한테 넘나 좋은👍 무엇보다 직원분들도 엄청 친절하고 재방문의사있어요 추천합니당

Absolutely breathtaking! This area and hotel was our favorite in the Jungfrau region. Restaurants on property serve delicious meals, friendly staff and the views..oh the views of the mountains while enjoying my coffee and tasty breakfast buffet are memories that will always bring a smile to my face!! Thank you Kirchbuhl, for a truly woderful experience!! ❤️🇨🇭

Nice view to the mountain.

It's too expensive for the level of quality and service. It was room in a separate building, 500 m from the main building (we walked everyday for the breakfast). Building is located near the main road. Room is located next to the laundry room with the specific smell. Renovation is needed. Spiders were in the bathroom, cockroach were in the kitchen. It's awful and impossible for such a high price.

usually don’t write reviews, but this hotel truly stole my heart. As a big fan of high-end hotels, I’ve experienced many, but this one stands out in a special way. The views from the balcony are straight out of a fairytale. What makes it even more special is its perfect location—just slightly off the main road, offering peace and quiet, yet only a short, scenic walk to the bustling shopping and tourist street. The service was outstanding, with genuine attention to detail in every interaction. You can tell the hotel was created with love—it’s visible in every corner, from the thoughtful decor to the spotless cleanliness. And the restaurants? Absolutely excellent. Every meal was a delight.

This hotel made our trip wonderful with its hostess. Rooms are super clean, service was awesome and especially breakfast we loved so much. We definetely choose this hotel again when we go to Switzerland 😍

Nice hotel but the rooms could use some serious help; the showers are insanely small, hard for even an average-sized guy like me to get around in. Long downhill/uphill walk into town, so while the location provides beautiful views, it is isolated.

Staff was very humble and amazing. Place was very spacious and view from my apartment was great. Good breakfast.

The location the arrangements that they made(free pick up and drop to the station and as our room was far drop to the room again next day to the breakfast the way they managed deserve an appreciation), breakfast was also pretty good and had a good spread.

Excellent stay, we all loved it. Very good quality food, recommend reserving the Swiss restaurant. My only advice would be there needs to be fans as it can—and did—get very uncomfortably hot at night in summer. At the least, install screens so guests can keep doors/windows open without letting bugs in. But regardless, an excellent stay and will be back for sure.

Lots of space, amazing views, beds were a little small, unfortunately we had flies in the property. But heaps of cooking utensils, plates - felt like home.

We loved this hotel. Excellent included breakfast buffet. Dinners were really good too. Enough choices and top notch service.

A stunning view of the Eiger from our balcony. A beautiful, spacious room with a large bathroom which included a bath and a bath pack. A delicious breakfast buffet is included. It is a little bit out of Grindelwald, which we liked as it was so peaceful. They will pick you up and drop you off at the station on arrival snd departure. You can walk to the hotel (15 mins from the station) but it is quite steep. Alternatively, you can take a bus which is free to all visitors staying at Grindelwald. The staff were lovely and made sure we didn’t leave anything behind. Thanks Miguel, for the ride back to the station.

Our room was small but it had a truly fabulous view. The food was excellent and the staff very nice. I would definitely stay there again.

Everything was perfect except no AC, so it could be a bit warm at night if patio door not open.

This hotel is so charming. The rooms are quaint. The whole property is what you would expect for a Swiss boutique hotel in the Alps. The setting is absolutely picturesque. The staff is friendly. The do-it-yourself laundry is a little bit of a hike and not convenient. There is only one washing machine and dryer. So, it makes it difficult to do laundry. I enjoyed the whole staff. The matriarch/owner could be more friendly. But, that didn’t affect our stay at all.

I was initially concerned about the distance from the station to the hotel, but during my 2-night stay, it wasn’t an issue at all. In fact, I really enjoyed the walk while taking in the surrounding scenery — it only took about 7 minutes at a normal walking pace for an adult male. All the staff were very polite and kind. The facilities are a bit old, but it didn’t bother me — the view around the hotel more than made up for it. And don’t miss the sauna — it was one of the highlights of my stay!

Magnificent mountain views. Although it is not close to the train station, everything is within walkable distance. (10 minutes walk to all facilities) Staff are all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is delicious with sweeping choices.

I would have give 5 stars, but the only downside is that you should have a car to reach the property, otherwise you have to walk up a steep hill to reach from the closest bus stop or a dining place which could be challenge for seniors

This is is a beautiful hotel right at the foot of a mountain with amazing views. The room was very clean . The only negative was they even though I paid for a 4 occupancy room they charge me $261 for “an extra guest”

The location is unique little away from the center noice and give you the real feeling of the swiss beauty of winter especially while snowing. The staff is friendly and they provide free shuttle from the station plus daily to the breakfast

Amazing hotel in a great place. Friendly staff, magnificent room of ample size for two people with magical view of Grindelwald valley and the mountains. Convenient location outside of town but easily accessible by foot, bus or car. Would most definitely stay here again.
