No ramp or easy access into the hotel - was difficult to lug luggage up entry stairs; needs AC! One fan in the room did not cut it. The windows were open but it was raining and humid - the room was very hot and stuffy. Plus, with the windows open, the cathedral bells were very prevalent all night long

Purtroppo è un po' difficile trovare parcheggio essendo in centro. Le campane di notte suonano ad ogni quarto/mezz'ora per cui è un po difficile dormire.

Reviewed Aug 25, 2026Die Lage mit der angrenzenden Fussgängerzone. Sehr nettes Personal. Ich hatte ein Einzelzimmer. Klein, nicht besonders modern, aber funktionell eingerichtet. Frühstück war ok. Das Fahrrad konnte sicher untergebracht werden, inkl. Lademöglichkeit
Die Dusche war extrem klein und der Duschvorhang… - nicht mein Fall.

Tutto. Quanto viene esposto in foto non corrisponde per niente a quanto in realtà abbiamo trovato, almeno per quanto concerne la camera assegnata. Camera da una stella, al massimo due. Vista sulla cattedrale? La nostra finestra dava su un muro a due metri di distanza, umido e puzzolente. Stanza piccolissima con un letto per due persone piccolo e scomodo. All’osservazione in reception la risposta è stata “ormai quelle sono stanze economiche”. Ho fatto notare che io non ho per nulla riservato una “camera economica” ed alla richiesta di poter cambiare camera mi è stato detto che ormai quelle citate sul vostro sito erano ormai occupate.

Il bagno sarebbe un po' da rinnovare, ma in generale tutto è andato bene.

Reviewed Aug 20, 2026Ein so schönes Gebäude und ein so liebloses und uninspiriertes Gebäude und dient nur dazu, praktisch zu sein. Zumindest haben uns zwei Dinge gefallen: - Die zentrale Lage - Der Bezug des Sessels und des Stuhles - Der alte Schrank und die Türrahmen
Die würdelose Art, wie mit einem geschichtsträchtigen Gebäude aus dem 17. Jahrhundert umgegangen wird, hat unser Herz gebrochen. Ein Selecta-Automat in der Lobby... (sind wir in einer Jugendherberge gelandet?) Der Blockade-Anstrich in den Zimmern (es darf schon lange nicht mehr in den Zimmern geraucht werden).. Das bedarf keiner weiteren Ausführungen. Es fehlt schlichtweg an Ambiente und Flair. In ganz Fribourg - dieser herrlich schönen Stadt - gibt es keine würdige Unterkunft. Das Gebäude bietet DIE Möglichkeit schlechthin, etwas Fulminantes daraus zu machen. Hierfür wären die Gäste mit Sicherheit gut und gerne bereit, etwas tiefer in die Tasche zu greifen. Absteigen gibt es in der Stadt zur Genüge.

Pas de climatisation, ni de mini bar dans la chambre. Sur le site web un parking gratuit devant l’hôtel était mentionné. En fait il y a très peu de places disponibles. J’ai été au parking recommandé (Casino Parking): 40 FS la nuit !!!

Reviewed Aug 13, 2026L'emplacement este le gros + de l'hôtel (proche de la gare et restaurants). La chambre était spacieuse avec une jolie vue sur la cathédrale. Calme.
Pas de climatisation, juste un petit ventilateur très bruyant et un peu vieillot (voyage juin/juillet durant la canicule). Baignoire avec bords très hauts, dangereux et pas pratique (risque de chute. Pas de tapis anti-glisse). Personnel pas toujours le plus avenant (jamais de "Bonjour/Bonne journée" lors de l'entrée/sortie de l'hôtel).

Wir hatten zwei Zimmer unter dem Dach (4. Etage). Bei über 30 °C Aussenhitze war es auch in den beiden Zimmern sehr heiss! Die sehr kleinen Fenster ließen kaum frische Luft rein. Beim Frühstücksbuffet gab es keine frische Milch, nur UP-Milch.

Reviewed Aug 9, 2026Très bon accueil, j’ai pu avoir la carte payante mais remisée à 16CHF pour 24h dès le matin alors que l’enregistrement n’avait pas encore été fait. Les informations étaient très explicites et détaillées. L’emplacement en plein cœur de la vieille ville était très appréciable avec la possibilité de profiter au maximum de celle-ci du fait de la proximité. La chambre était spacieuse , les lits confortables. Le wifi est de très bonne qualité. La vue de la chambre magnifique.
Un peu chaud dans la chambre en période de canicule.
