The room was fine. It was warm in Dublin when we were there, so it was very nice to be able to open the window and run the fan, which was provided. Bed and pillows were okay. Breakfast and location were excellent! Close to a Tesco and very nice restaurants and pubs.

They didn’t give me the room I’ve booked for, what I realised when I entered the room. Practically it was impossible to get the room I’ve booked for (it was given to someone else) and I had to ask for a refund.

The staff was very nice and helpful. Location is great.

The location was fantastic, within walking distance to the city centre and all the amazing attractions. We loved the room, compact and bijou, with a little balcony where we could open the doors for fresh air and the city sounds, none of that being sealed into a modern hotel room, which I hate.The staff were so welcoming and helpful at all times

I think the breakfast experience could be improved a little with a full buffet approach and the area modernised

Excellent location - nice, easy walk to St Stephen's Green and Grafton St, lots of restaurants nearby. Staff super friendly and helpful. Room and building were exceptionally clean (and I have high standards!). Room was bright, comfortable, and nicely decorated. The only reason I "downgraded" on the value was because staying in Dublin is so expensive -- but for Dublin, it was a good value!

It was a very quiet room with lots of natural light, very comfortable. We had a lovely greeting - the room was out of the main building and a lot of stairs. I had a bad leg at the time so it was a bit of a struggle - but if you were fit and healthy it would be no problem. Lovely little courtyard and historical art and info on the walls.

I loved the location. Quiet at night and nice walking distance to St. Stephen’s Green. The room looked lovely.

The room was so small. Like barely had a place for my suitcase. I ended up putting it on the desk. The full length mirror was next to the night stand and basically impossible to use. The toilet seat was broken and a cheap replacement. The bathroom fan was very loud and stayed on for like 1-2 minutes after it was turned off.

The room was small but cozy and very quiet. Excellent breakfast. Easily accessible by bus to city centre.

Frühstück sehr gut, kleines Buffet (Wurst, Käse, Früchte, Müsli, Jogurt, Marmelade), frischer Toast und Butter an den Tisch serviert und bei Bedarf nachgebracht, zur Wahl Kontinental (zB Pancakes) or Irish (zB Scrumbled Egg, Bacon). Empfang sehr freundlich, Zimmer überraschend groß (v.a. das Badezimmer), sehr gutes WLan, Innenstadt in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen.

Located at one of biggest streets yet very quiet if your room is at the back side. Very friendly and supportive staff. Irish breakfast really big. Suitable for both - business and tourist travelling. Walking distance from one of the nicest Irish pubs in the city.

Narrow corridors and stairs, no elevator, therefore troublesome for disabled persons and big luggage.

Place was clean, bed were very comfy. Staff were pleasant. Food was nice.

Locatie was goed, iets buiten het centrum. Er was een parkeerplaats als je die van te voren gereserveerd had. Het was lastig om de auto door het smalle poortje te rijden.

Alle accomodaties in Dublin zijn duur dus deze ook. De kamer was klein en het bed ook. Er hing een geparfumeerde lucht die leek uit de ventilatie te komen. Er is niet een lounge waar je even kunt zitten, op de kamer stond een stoel.

La construcción y la historia detrás de ella.

Nada no me gusto. En consecuencia me gustó mucho todo.

Mit meinem Aufenthalt und der Gastfreundschaft bin ich allgemein sehr zufrieden. Das Zimmer ist schön, sauber und gut ausgestattet. Der Empfang war unkompliziert und herzlich. Die Lage gefiel mir auch gut, denn das Hotel liegt zwischen dem Stadtzentrum und dem hipperen Südteil der Stadt (Ballsbridge, Ranelagh, Rathmines). Wenn man gerne läuft, erreicht man Vieles zu Fuss. Einzige Minuspunkte sind die Preis-Leistung (happig!) und die etwas spezielle Frühstückssituation.

Das Frühstück war zwar mit Sorgfalt aufgetischt, doch war die Kommunikation der Zeiten nicht ganz klar. Das Personal war aber nach anfänglicher Konfusion dann doch bemüht. Für meinen Geschmack fehlte es an Brot auf dem Continental Buffet, es wurde (ungefragt) warmer Toast serviert, sonst gabs nur noch Sodabread.

I had a quick 1 night stay in Dublin, arriving quite late and leaving early the next day. Staff upgraded my room on arrival, which was great and much appreciated! I was also able to store my bag there the next day while attending a conference. The room was well-equipped with everything I needed (tea, biscuits, water, hairdryer) and all was clean. The location was good, many bars nearby, and plenty of shops for any supplies.

Posizione centrale e ben tenuta

La struttura è una dimora storica di Dublino e questo si percepisce fin da subito. Le stanze sono belle e molto pulite, se pure con arredi datati, ma ciò contribuisce al fascino. La posizione è buona: in 20 minuti a piedi si arriva a Temple Bar oppure c'è una comodissima fermata del bus proprio fuori dalla porta.

L'accoglienza non è stata ahimè delle migliori: per via di una incomprensione nella lettura delle istruzioni, abbiamo parcheggiato nel cortile adiacente. Abbiamo chiamato il numero riportato nel messaggio e la signora che ha risposto si è dimostrata molto scortese. La macchina è rimasta nel cortile sbagliato per pochissimi minuti, quindi la reazione della signora è risultata alquanto fuori luogo. Penso sia accettabile un piccolo errore da parte di viaggiatori in una città straniera, no?

The staff were wonderful. The Czech woman (receptionist) was extremely helpful and got me and my girlfriend settled quickly.

Es war im Zimmer wenig Platz zum Ausbreiten von 2 Koffern. Die Zimmer waren sehr hellhörig. Gespräche hätte man aus den Nachbarzimmern mithören können.

We had a great time, lovely host and it was very homely. In a great location. No fridge in the room or aircon but made do.

Excellent location. The hotel has a beautiful story, it is living history. We had everything we needed, cozy, calm and quit place.

Management staff went above and beyond when I had to change my trip date and they were kind enough to reschedule my booking at the very last minute. The hotel was clean and quiet, I was able to have a good night of sleep. Highly recommend.

Posizione pazzesca! Camera spaziosa e pulita, ottima colazione!

Das Personal war sehr freundlich, unaufdringlich und zuvorkommend. Wir hatten ein großzügiges Zimmer zur Hofseite, mit dem wir sehr zufrieden waren. Neben dem Schlafraum mit einer bequemen Matratze hatten wir (unerwarteterweise) auch eine kleine Küche (wohl nur bei zwei Zimmern vorhanden), eine Dusche und ein separates WC. Wir fanden den Charme dieses historischen Hauses angenehm, natürlich geht es dann auf dem Flur z. B. etwas enger zu. Beim Frühstück konnte man zwischen verschiedenen Arten wählen. Mit den Bussen ist man schnell bei den Highlights der Innenstadt, die Haltestelle ist direkt vor dem Haus.

Room number 8, room above creaking floorboards kept us awake and woke us , so loud . Sockets behind bed which made it difficult to use. Especially as partner uses cpap machine.

Per una famiglia di 3 persone vi è una soluzione ideale indicata come “double / single room”, composta da una camera matrimoniale e da una camera singola collegate tra di loro tramite il bagno. Colazione continentale molto abbondante con possibilità di scegliere in aggiunta la colazione irlandese oppure i pancakes dolci. Fermate delle linee 38 e 39 dell’autobus accanto alla Townhouse. Centro città raggiungibile con una camminata di 15 minuti, così come la più vicina fermata della Dart. 3 bottiglie d’acqua fornite in stanza all’arrivo insieme a 3 assaggi di biscotti.

L’aspect historique et l’architecture de la maison. Son emplacement sur une rue passante mais non bruyante et sentiment de sécurité même si chambre au rez de chaussée. Distance de marche très adéquate pour se rendre aux quartiers plus touristiques (avec qqes belles découvertes restos à proximité de l’hébergement!) . Le personnel est vraiment super sympathique, très souriant et accueillant, très serviable. Le petit déjeuner est cuisiné au fur et à mesure selon les demandes des clients (crêpes , œufs, typique irlandais etc) sans frais supplémentaires à l’option B&B.

Les chambres sont vraiment très , très petites ce qui donne une impression de se marcher sur les pieds et peu d’espace pour déposer nos bagages . Cependant les salles de bain sont spacieuses et rénovées .
