Fitzwilliam Townhouse

Checkin was very friendly and I was delighted to get early checkin. The room was very comfortable and warm. It was not noisy even though it's on a busy street. Location is superb, beside Baggot St and few mins walk to Stephens Green. Breakfast was fantastic and freshly cooked, and service was excellent. The lady on reception helped me to get a taxi on the street which I appreciated. This will be my new go-to place to stay in Dublin City for work. Thank you very much.

De dormir dans un entresol extrèmement bruyant. La porte de la chambre comportait un énorme jour en bas. Du coup on entendait tout ce qui se passait dans le couloir et les alllées et venues dans la salle du petit déjeuner. Côté fenêtre on était sous les roues des voitures et des bus. Terriblement bruyant et pas de vue.

Breakfast was very good. Check in and serving staff were friendly and helpful.

Room was on top floor. I couldn't get the TV to work

Our room was on the 4th floor, so it took a bit to walk up with luggage. (They did offer to carry bags.)

I liked the czech receptionist Lenka, she was very welcoming and helpful. I felt very comfortable at the hotel, the room was very nice and cosy, everything was perfect. I enjoyed my stay in Dublin.

1key, my partner smokes so we had to pass the key back and forth so he could go outside...just s bit tricky with 1 key...maybe have 2 sets per room and ask how many guests want.

Staff was so friendly and helpful. 10/10 for all of them. The room was comfortable and the hotel very charming. The location is ideal for anyone wanting to go shopping or explore a bit (not far from bus stops or Pearse st station). We stayed as a family and wont hesitate to come back on our next trip to Dublin

Beautiful building, great location - in quiet area but walking distance to St Stephen's Green and the city center. Historic building with great character and sensitively modernized. Large comfortable family room and nice en suite. Very helpful staff, warm and welcoming.

We stayed on the 4th floor and as they aren't allowed to install an elevator, bringing up all our luggage was not ideal. And because the building was almost 200 years old the floor was very uneven. Not ideal but in a way it added to the charm 😅

We had a fab room in the basement, it was clean and had original stone wall showing and a new bathroom! However, my two grown up kids had a room on the top floor. Smelt like bleach on arrival, but they were happy it was clean. When we came back around 6 hours later, the bleach smell had been replaced by a strong septic tank stench! Kids never said till we left (did not want me to moan to the lovely lady in reception).

El hotel es bonito, tienen recepción y te pueden guardar las maletas el último día. La habitación es cómoda y espaciosa. La ubicación es perfecta, alejada de la zona de ruido lo justo para que no sea molesto pero a 10 minutos andado, lo cual es genial para poder ir y venir de la zona centro. El personal es super amable, nos dieron la habitación antes de tiempo incluso. Si vuelvo repetiré.

Lo único que mejoraría es la temperatura, aunque es agosto por la noche refresca y las habitaciones se quedan un poco frías. El precio es algo elevado para no tener incluido el desayuno.

Une très bon adresse. L'emplacement est parfait pour visiter Dublin à pied, plusieurs pubs et restaurants à 5min. La chambre était petite mais confortable. Le personnel est vraiment sympathique et le petit déjeuner top!

Un très bel hôtel plein de charme, avec le cachet de l’ancien, idéalement situé à proximité du centre de Dublin. Tout peut facilement se faire à pied, ce qui est vraiment appréciable. L’hôtel est calme, les chambres bénéficient d’une belle hauteur sous plafond et le personnel est d’une gentillesse incroyable, toujours souriant et attentionné. Une très belle adresse que nous recommandons sans hésiter !

The staff was amazing! Everyone was so helpful. The street noise wasn't as loud as other locations we stayed at in Ireland and having a plug in fan provided by the hotel was great. Walkable or an affordable taxi fare to most everywhere within Dublin.

Bedroom downstairs was very clean and comfortable- charming room with exposed brick walls. Only wish was for a fan as it did get warm. Breakfast room, service and Full Irish was spot on! Would definitely stay again!

Location and tea kettle in the room

Room was very small and no room to set up tea kettle; had to set everything up on the floor. Towels were paper thin and bed was lumpy.

The receptionist was incredibly warm and welcoming, and made me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. I was also pleasantly surprised to find we could communicate in languages other than English. A small touch, but it made a big difference.

Everything. The rooms were beautiful. Bathroom newly done. Amazing breakfast. Staff so lovely. Definitely my new favourite place to stay wgen in Dublin.

Street noise loud ( traffic )but what can you expect in the middle of Dublin ! Will bring ear plugs next time. Easily solved !

Die Lage ist sehr gut. Man ist in 5-10 Minuten zu Fuß im Stadtzentrum. Das Personal ist ausgesprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück ist sehr gut. Für die Rückreise wurde uns ein Lunchpaket mir Getränken, Sandwiches und Obst bereitet.
