Very clean, excellent breakfast and dinner, attentive staff

Everything was exceptional but most importantly the staff were incredible ! Friendly welcoming and couldn’t do enough for us absolutely loved everything

The hotel setting is attractive with a pretty pool area. The breakfast was superb. The (family) room was a good size

The hotel is old so had no air conditioning - but the fans in the rooms were completely inadequate and not what I would expect from a 5-star hotel (it was a hot night, but that’s hardly unusual these days). The room also hasn’t been cleaned properly (cobwebs on the lampshades and a mouldy half-drunk bottle of something that had clearly sat in a cupboard for weeks). In a family room, the choice of complimentary drinks, while a nice thought, was also odd (beer, wine and Coke - none of which I particularly want to give to the kids). Overall, a nice hotel, but standards not what I would expect of a 5-star. Also worth noting, the pool area and the hotel as a whole is relatively formal - probably better suited to couples rather than families.

Ein unglaublich persönliches und sehr charmantes Haus! Es war alles tipptopp, bis auf unser Zimmer, das direkt über den Lieferanten Eingang lag! Das war unfassbar laut!

It’s a beautiful traditional Austrian chapel/ hotel. Walking distance to Kitzbuhel. Stayed here years ago and glad to see it has not changed. Same high standards and outstanding food and service .

Wonderful two night stay. Rooms are spacious and well appointed, beautiful views of the gardens and surrounding neighborhood. The restaurant staff is excellent and the food is good- large breakfast buffet and custom menu, dinner is just as good. Sit outside on the Terrance for meals to enjoy the view. The hotel amenities from spa, relaxation areas, pool and outdoor areas are lovely. The hotel is on a hill which means a 10 min walk into the main streets of town and 5 mins to the gondola. Easy walk and taxi ride can be arranged for those that can’t walk. Highly recommended.

Wir waren schon öfter im Sommer dort, da es sehr romantisch ist und einen schönen Außenpool hat. Die Lage ist klasse, die Innenstadt einen 20 minütigen Spaziergang entfernt.

Dieses Mal hatten wir ein Penthaus mit 2 Schlafzimmern, was grundsätzlich schön, jedoch für diese Kategorie und Preisklasse sehr einfach ausgestattet ist. Besonders ärgerlich: wenn man etwa 1.000 Euro pro Übernachtung zahlt, erwartet man eine Klimaanlage! Sowas geht eigentlich gar nicht.

A week at the Tennerhof in Kitzbühel in March was one of the best spring skiing holidays I have been on. The hotel sprinkles old school glamour and out of this world hospitality on its guests and takes you back to how things should be done. The hotel with its charming Tyrolian decor, the exquisite kitchen and above all the utterly charming team make staying at the at the Tennerhof an unforgettable experience. Patricia Reisinger, the general manager, and her team have looked after us in a way most hotels can only dream of. A heartfelt thank you to Patricia and her team for looking after us so beautifully and make me fall in love in love with Kitzbühel once again. Also a special shout-out to Valentina, who was charm personified and guided us daily to all the wonderful opportunities the hotel and Kitzbühel have to offer.

Very scenic hotel, but woman running the bar acted pretty inappropriately, flirting overtly with guests who were not welcoming it and touching people inappropriately — not up to Relais Chateaux standards of staff.

Very attentive staff, always striving to make the guest experience memorable. I particularly liked the breakfast: lots of choice, even though I was focused on the fresh berries and the freshly squeezed juices. The ski room was clean, well kept and well lit. Shuttle to/from the Hahnenkamm gondola was convenient. Our suite had two separate bathrooms. When leaving, the reception spontaneously gave us snacks and bottle water for the road.

A wonderful hotel set just outside the village. Lovely rooms and the staff very friendly. Food is superb a varied menu complimented with a good selection of wines. Very traditional feeling which we enjoyed.

We had the best stay honestly. The staff was so amazing ,super accommodating, friendly, and always willing to help with anything we needed. You could really feel how much they cared about making everyone comfortable. The rooms were immaculately clean everyday, which made everything feel even more relaxing. Especially Valentina at the front desk and Matthias our driver they were our absolute favorites. This was a girls trip and they made us feel so welcomed and at home the entire time. Valentina was just the sweetest and Matthias was so kind and fun to talk to. They both really went above and beyond for us. We’re already saying we want to come back and we definitely will. 💕 P.S the breakfast at the main restaurant is a MUST

El transporte tardaba a veces hasta 35 minutos recogiéndolo a uno en la estación de esquí (góndola). Decían que cada 10 minutos venía transporte pero jamás sucedió así desafortunadamente. Creo necesitan adquirir otro mini van y conductor porque no dan a basto. De resto todo perfecto! 🤩

Great hotel, amazing service from the staff (outside the front desk) and the hotel has an amazing vibe!! I would give it 5 Star rating, however because of one employee in particular I can not. The management of the hotel should strongly consider the behavior of their front desk staff. The gentleman working the front desk was great, however the lady (blonde, Russian speaking) was extremely unfriendly and arrogant. Has the attitude of "tough luck" and seems bothered with any and all requests. Hotel of this level should not have such a person interact with its customers, as she is a reason we might not return.

The beds are old and weak and not confortable. The Service is good and friendly. The Restaurants and the food is good

Personal im Hotel sehr nett u hilfsbereit, insbesondere Rezeption und Fahrer! Sehr Kinderfreundlich!

Zimmer etwas in die Jahre gekommen, für warmwasser muss man den Hahn mehrere Minuten laufen lassen. Flasche Mineralwasser nicht im Turn down enthalten u kostet 20€ extra.. Restaurant entspricht weder vom Personal noch von den Speisen dem Anspruch des Hotels. Es werden Gänge vergessen u dann 20 Minuten warmgestellt. Die Weinkarte ist sehr dünn u trotzdem vieles nicht vorrätig. Preisniveau im Restaurant auch für Kitzbühel überhöht.

Frühstück war sehr gut. Personal sehr nett und zuverlässig.

Die Spiegel im Badezimmer war zu hoch gehängt für kleine Personen.

Excellent experience. The food and customer service was amazing. The Tennerhof has that beautiful, historic alpine charm. Just lovely in every aspect.

A wonderful hotel - magical to spend time there. Happiest time - thanks to the wonderful staff! We have been three times now and have never been let down. Food, rooms, views, staff are all wonderful and, ofcourse, you are surrounded by wonderful scenery. A dream place to stay!

Excellent experience! The hotel is beautiful and charming. The staff is exceptionally friendly and accommodating! They also make it easy for you to get in and out of town with shuttle service.

Fällt mir nichts ein. Freundliches Personal, unauffällige Reinigung (mehrmals am Tag!) Gepäck wird gebracht. Auto geparkt. Was soll ich da kritisieren?

Sehr herzliches Personal, ein ausgesprochen warmer Empfang und eine freundliche Einführung in die Zimmer. Das Frühstück war hervorragend und das Ambiente einfach wunderschön.

This hotel is absolutely gorgeous, we will definitely visit again . Everything is just perfect , very nice and very helpful staff ( Mia at the front desk is such a nice lady ) and Pavel( I hope that's his name-can't remember now , he is the hotel groundskeeper) was absolutely 100% helpful with everything, he even recommended local trips to us and we are glad we followed his recommendations. I do recommend this lovely hotel to everyone who is thinking to stay !

Generally the hotel is very nice, and provides a traditional experience. I was let down by a poor room that had stained chairs, and no view. The service was OK, some staff were nice but quite unwelcoming at times. The location is good and a fifteen minute walk to the center of town but you have to walk up a steep hill to access it on foot. The food is overpriced (we paid €93 euro for a club sandwich, cesear salad, 2 waters and 1 juice).

Our stay at the Tennerhof Hotel was a delight.It was to celebrate the 60th anniversary of my time living in Austria, and we could not have picked a better venue...beautiful surroundings, lovely accomodations and delicious food. An altogether delightful experience. Vielen Dank. Robert Nelson

My wife and I attended a wedding last month at the Relais & Chateaux Hotel Tennerhof in Kitzbuhel, Austria. What fabulous experience we had at Hotel Tennerhof! The staff, food, facilities and the atmosphere made for a very memorable wedding. We highly recommend a stay at this hotel and in the future look forward to returning for another stay in the future.

Our chalet was perfect for 2 couples. Separation was ideal. I loved My morning coffee on the balcony overlooking the beautiful mountains. (Only problem was the building and trucks right below that started quite early). Food was very good- breakfast was delightful. Service and front desk were always friendly ;( except one young man- not rude, just not as personable ) Overall a very nice place- apart from city centre. A steep walk for those that might be looking for an easy flat area.

An absolutely beautiful hotel tucked away in the mountains. With every experience, the hotel became better and better from the beautiful rooms to the fantastic spa and some of the best pasta I’ve ever had at the restaurant. The hotel also boasts the most incredible experience I’ve ever had in a hotel! Such an attentive staff going out of their way to make anything you want happen. I’ve never experienced anything like it and it certainly justifies the price! You’re definitely paying for what you get and more!

The service was so absurdly good that I can only assume ownership holds their employees’ families captive. There was one point where a guest had ordered a drink that the Tennerhof did not have and instead of saying they couldn’t make said drink, they secretly drove into town to purchase the ingredients and delivered it to the table in ~ 5 minutes. 10/5 stars

The Tennerhof Hotel is so lovely and the perfect spot to stay in beautiful Kitzbuhel. The hikes in the area are simply breathtaking, and the staff at the Tennerhof are so friendly and helpful. We loved our stay here and look forward to coming back again.

The Hotel Tennerhof is truly special . The views are incredible, the staff very accommodating and attentive and the hotel itself is an alpine retreat. It reminded us of Rosa Alpina before Rosa was converted to an anonymous modern hotel that could be anywhere. When you go to Tennerhof you know you are in an historic hotel that has every modern amenity . The pool area is beautiful and the pool unlike so many first class hotels where the signs of needed attention can be evident is in perfect condition . The breakfasts were some of the best we have ever experienced. There was not anything lacking. Just the array of juices from one of the finest producers was a treat each morning, we ate dinner at the hotel twice and relied on recommendations the three other night . The choice at the hotel is varied and of excellent quality . I will long remember the porcini risotto and braised lamb. Bathrooms are modern, towels plush - what more can I say other than too bad we do not ski or we would be there this winter .

Gorgeous grounds - both historical and rustic yet elegant and beautiful! Great service, delicious food at the restaurant, amazing pool. We had a fantastic massage. Easy 10 min walk to town (a bit of a hill walking back up). And an easy shuttle service with a most pleasant gentleman if you need it! Definitely recommend staying here!

Service at dinner took too long

It was a treat for us to stay at such a lovely hotel. From check in to the restaurant the staff were friendly and very attentive. The hotel rooms are stylish and wonderfully clean and the food was excellent. I would definately recommend staying here.

Some of the hotel areas such as the spa and pool although very clean are looking old compared to the competition taking into account the cost of staying there

Everything about this place is 5 star but if I had to single out one thing it would be the staff. From the shuttle drivers to the front desk clerks. The wait staff and the room service attendants, all of them are genuine, friendly and will do their best to make your stay a memorable one. We ( myself, wife and two teenagers) stayed in the Romerhof Apts, specifically the premium Family apartment. Plenty of space to spread out and not be on top of each other. Nice little kitchen that you can cook a meal in if you decide to head to BILLA in town and grab some groceries. The wrap around balcony accompanied by all the windows that opened in was perfect. We were able to use the sauna rooms and indoor pools and found them to be adequate after a long day on the Pistes. The morning breakfast spread was phenomenal every morning. If you’re looking for downtown, busy and loud then this place is not for you. If you want peace and tranquility with some of the best people in the Austrian Alps then head here.

I liked the authenticity of the hotel with austrian traditional design. I liked the staff so much they are so well trained and extremely welcoming and i never felt like there was somerhing miasing. This is orobably the best hotel staff i have encountered. Laatly the spa was AMAZING!

I didnt like the ski gear room, it didnt feel organzied, and needs an upgrade. I would like to keep my gear in a locker room. I didnt like the jaccuzi it was way too small to fit in 2 people, just one. Also, I understand that the female staff have to look the part by dressing in traditional austrian clothing because also thats theme of the hotel. However, they would look more professional if they are dressed just like the men staff, which would also give off more serious interaction with them.

We found that the evening menu in the hotel restaurant was quite expensive and had limited options for the children. Some form of buffet in the evenings ie salad and desert would have helped. Having said that, the breakfast was excellent.

Food at the hotel was incredible whether breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Staff were courteous and helpful.

The rooms are long overdue an upgrade, particularly with the bathrooms.

Amazing staff and service

I was here this past weekend with friends for four nights. Overall, I really enjoyed my time here and would recommend it to anybody looking to come to Kitzbuhel. From the time we arrived to the time we left all staff were gracious, welcoming, and happy to see us. We particuarly liked Timae, as others have noted. She was fabulous in the bar and made sure we had delicious drinks and great conversation every time we went. Highly recommend finding her! Breakfast every morning was delicious with a ton of options, both buffet and made to order. My room - number 14 - was comfortable. Great big comfortable bed, nice shower that had great pressure and hot water, and great views over the valley towards the mountains. We had dinner one night at the Romerhof restaurant and enjoyed the fondue. This hotel is removed from town, so we appreciated the shuttle service that took us every day to the ski lifts. Just wish that the shuttle also operated at night for going out to eat. Overall, my friends and I really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it - cannot wait to return!

This hotel looks like it was plucked from an actual fairytale. The decor is luxurious yet comfortable, the staff was incredibly kind and accommodating and the food and drinks were top notch. From the time we pulled up until our check out, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and at home. The check in and check out process was very easy. We were greeted with a welcome drink and a small bite after a long day of traveling. The bar in the lobby is the perfect place for a nightcap or a drink before dining in the beautiful restaurants. The bartender there, Timae, made cocktails and humored us until the wee hours of the morning. Our room was clean and spacious and had a lovely view of the gondolas. The bed was comfortable. The seating area had some small chocolates and little sweets for us to enjoy as well as two big bottles of water. We ate fondue and drank champagne at the restaurant down the hill where the cheese was hot and delicious and the champagne was cold. We also had the pleasure of eating some traditional food in the main restaurant. There was an aged Reisling on the menu that paired beautifully with the schnitzel. Overall this hotel lives up to its stellar reputation. I can't wait to go back.
