Reviewed Feb 25, 2026Die Sonne je jedním z nejlepších alpských hotelů v jakém jsem kdy byl. Skvělý personál, výborné jídlo, příjemné stylové ale moderní interiéry, plná vybavenost, shuttle k lanovkám a zpět.
Vzhledem k pozici hotelu nelze dojít k lanovkám pěšky, ani dojet k hotelu na lyžích, ale bezplatný shuttle provozovaný po celý den tento hendikep plně vyvažuje. Jinak nemohu hotelu nic vytknout.

Die Tische im Essbereich waren etwas klein, aber das ist jammern auf hohem Niveau.

Dass wir nicht länger bleiben konnten ;-)

Reviewed Oct 5, 2025Die Lage zu den Gondeln war perfekt. Man war im Nu dort und konnte mit der Joker Card kostenlos fahren. Im Hotel gab es nichts auszusetzen. Das Essen und die Auswahl war hervorragend und das Personal war auf Zack und sehr herzlich und nett. Der Wellnessbereich mit den Ruhebereichen war sehr schön und die Aufgüsse in der Sauna einfach super. Man hat sich wohl gefühlt und die Atmosphäre war sehr familiär.
Ein Verbesserungsvorschlag: Beim Essen würde ich die Familien mit Kinder etwas zusammen setzten und die Paare ohne Kinder bzw. Alleinreisende auch zusammensetzen. Die letzten beiden Tage unseres Aufenthalts war das Hotel nahezu ausgebucht (vor allem Familien mit Kinder 3-6 Jahre) und da war dann schon ordentlich was los. Es war an einem Tag noch eine Dame anwesend, die mit den Kindern gezaubert hat. Dies fand an den jeweiligen Tischen statt. Es war nicht schlimm, aber es wäre schön gewesen, wenn wir das nicht direkt daneben mitbekommen hätten.

Room clean and comfy. Food excellent great selection and tasty. Wellness area amazing with some small details make to memorable. And stuff everyone I was in touch was always smiling and willing to help.

Reviewed Sep 5, 2025Das Essen nebst Weinkarte war ein Traum, das Personal bis auf eine Ausnahme extrem freundlich und zuvorkommend, Wellnessbereich schön… toll war auch die Möglichkeit, dass die Kids abends im Hof toben konnten und die Eltern in den gemütlichen Stühlen nebst einem Glas Wein das Geschehen beobachten konnten. Somit kommt man auch schnell mit anderen ins Gespräch und somit hatten wir eine tolle Urlaubsbekanntschaft, die über den Urlaub hinaus hält! In allem hatten wir eine sehr schöne Zeit!
Unser Zimmer war in einer relativ dunklen „Ecke“ und wir hatten einen sehr kleinen Balkon mit Ausblick auf die Nachbarn. Da man aber eh den ganzen Tag unterwegs war, war es somit ok.

Die Kinderbetreuung war nicht ganz unser Fall. Dijana war toll, aber sie alleine ist zu wenig für so viele Kinder. Die zweite Betreuungsperson war nicht gut. Hat sich nicht gekümmert. Außerdem war der Spieleraum sehr kalt.

Reviewed Aug 10, 2025Samo područje Saalbach Hinterglemm je zbilja lijepo, pitoreskno, uredno alpsko ljetovalište i skijalište. Gužve nisu usporedive s morskom obalom. Vrijeme prekrasno. Osobno sam više cijenio kišovito i oblačno vrijeme koje pruža super osvježenje u ljetnim mjesecima, uz puno (uglavnom sportskih) sadržaja dostupnih i po takvom vremenu. Panorame, šetnice, hladna rijeka Saalach, pritoka većeg Salzacha koja prolazi kroz mjesto. Draga vlasnica i brojni simpatični, pristojni i uslužni zaposlenici, neki iz naših, južnijih krajeva, kao npr. Biljana i Danijel koji su nam dodatno olakšali i poboljšali boravak. Po meni dobar omjer uloženo/dobiveno s obzirom na razinu usluge, udobnost i sadržaje koji odgovaraju kategoriji 4*+. Dobar jutarnji, podnevni, poslijepodnevni buffet i a la carte jela. Zanimljiva ponuda jutarnjih i poludnevnih sportskih aktivnosti i raznovrstan spa. Svakako preporučamo!
Teško za pronaći. Iako u biti nije neka zamjerka, možda bih uz hladne dodao i tople napitke u spa. (možda to i postoji tijekom zime, nismo pitali) Uglavnom, praktički nije bilo stvari koje nam se nisu svidjele.

Reviewed Aug 10, 2025Je wordt hier uitstekend behandeld als hotelgast. Eerder alsof je lid bent van de Hotel Sonne-familie. Het is hier aangenaam vertoeven, goede voorzieningen, aangenaam personeel en uitstekende kwaliteit.
Doordat het all-inclusive is zijn er gasten die hun drank mee naar de kamer nemen en nadien achterlaten in de gang. Het geeft zo'n slordig uitzicht wat het hotel totaal niet verdient.

Die Hoteleigenen Kinderwagen sind leider nicht zum wandern geeignet - lieber den eigenen mitbringen, dann ist alles perfekt :)

Reviewed Mar 3, 2025Quality of hotel very good. Staff excellent. Would really recommend for families especially. Construction of hotel meant that you could not hear guests in other rooms above or showering for instance!
Being very picky the location was a little out of town. This would not have mattered if there had been enough snow to skiing back to hotel, which can be the case. Otherwise the shuttle bus was required which was only a call away.

Reviewed Feb 27, 2025The hotel was perfect. Very well run family hotel. All staff were warm, friendly and attentive. Everything was kept exceptionally clean. This includes all the public areas such as the toilets, the sauna and the spa area. It runs a complimentary shuttle service that takes guests to the lifts and back (only 5 min ride away but a lot easier by car). There was a good selection of food. Breakfast offer was excellent. The room was spacious with good storage space, a balcony and a bath. There was an evening entertainment on one of the nights with a local musician - Peter W., which was excellent. He got everyone dancing. There is a kids club for non-skiers but we didn't use it as our daughter went to a ski school. We had a fabulous holiday. Thank you!
Everything was great. I guess the one observation from ski holidays in Austria is that it is not very vegetarian/vegan friendly. This is not exclusive to the hotel. All the places we stopped for lunch on the slopes were lovely, but served traditional Austrian food, which is very meat (mostly pork) centred. If one was following a vegan or vegetarian diet, it would be quite challenging as there aren't that many good quality options on the menu.

Only the pillows were not comfortable at all, like in every hotel 😃 The food was tasty, but breakfast can be tastier! Overall our stay was great and we will come back for sure!

Reviewed Mar 31, 2024They have THE nicest staff, service, reception, housekeeping, polite, friendly, responsive. Austrian friendliness at its finest even in the last week of the season!! Nice saunas, quiet area, and also nicely equipped gym. The room was quiet and huge. Everything was superb!
They could have had a midnight snack for people who missed the whole day of food and a five course dinner ... just kidding! Shout-out to the barkeeper who safed us with NicNacs ;-)

Reviewed Mar 6, 2023A good variety at breakfast and well looked after at dinner. At first we thought the location might be less convenient but the shuttles are a good solution and the location of the hotel is nice and peaceful at night for a perfect nights' sleep. The hotelbedding is great!
Lighting in the lobby/bar are could be a little less bright in the evenings.

The location was not good - and the walk to the town along the main road was not nice. The hotel offers a nice shuttle, however, but only until 5 pm.
