Reviewed Aug 31, 2026Perfect location (the central place (Hauptplatz), close to the Lentos museum, Danube, castle etc. in walking distance). Good breakfast in a non-ACed classy room. One of my most important KPI here is *fresh* orange juice which was available (self-made). As well as oat milk - available, too. Room to the yard, AC working, bathroom clean, but a bit tiny.
When arriving, I told the receptionist I probably would need to leave one day earlier. He told me to just change this via booking.com, which I did in the evening before my departure. He then refused the change overnight and the other receptionist told be the other morning I had to pay the cancelled day. Not the way to treat a customer.

Reviewed Aug 27, 2026A reggeli és az ebédlő hangulata nagyszerű volt. A lokáció is remek: az élettel teli, napsütötte főtér pompás. Volt zárható kerékpártároló . Érdekes volt egy ilyen régi épületben megszállni, de máskor nem ide jövünk. Nagyon szerettük volna szeretni ezt a patinás szállodát de....
Sajnos a karórám eltünt a szobánkból, erre a kellemetlenségre abszolút nem számítottam egy ilyen helyen. Nagyon csalódott vagyok! A szoba igen kicsi és levegőtlen volt 3 személynek. A szoba ablakai egy szűk belső udvarra néztek, napközben is lámpát kellett kapcsolni, mert sötét volt. Próbáltuk a kis szobát éjjelente szellőztetni, de ha nyitva volt az ablak, akkor az arra haladó vendégek bebámultak az ablaktól 50cm re lévő ágyunkba és mindent is hallottak. Se szék, se fotel nem volt a szobában, amire le tudtunk volna ülni kényelmesen. Így igazán nem volt kedvünk a szobában maradni, mert nem volt se hely, se fény, se levegő.

Warto przyjechać do takiego miejsca, zjeść bardzo dobre śniadanie w pięknej sali śniadaniowej i poczuć klimat dawnych lat. Polecam. Jeśli ktoś liczy na czajnik lub małą lodówkę w pokoju to nie ma na wyposażeniu.

Wenn man mit dem Auto anreist und viel Gepäck hat etwas komplizierter mit der Anfahrt zum Hotel, Fahrstuhl erst ab dem 1. Stock verfügbar, da es sich um einen Altbau handelt.

Reviewed Aug 17, 2026Classic-Hotel mit dem entsprechenden Charme, man fühlt sich um Jahrzehnte zurückversetzt. Aber in schön. Sogar die Holztreppe knarrt altersgemäß, bin begeistert - auch davon, dass ich dieses Knarren beim Gehen auf der Treppe hörte, aber nicht im Zimmer. Das Zimmer erfüllt alle Anforderungen und war - bei der Hitze wirklich sehr wertvoll - auch klimatisiert.

Wir hatten ein Doppel- und ein Dreibettzimmer gebucht. Das Dreibettzimmer war schon sehr klein für 3 Personen und man hatte wenig Platz.

Vrij heet oude tweede etage onder het dak, geen airco of klimaatbeheersing, alleen een ventilator.

Struttura molto vecchia. Moquette poco igienica già all'entrata. Il bagno era stato rifatto e pulito ma la camera aveva tappetti, che per me non ci devono proprio essere in un albergo per questioni di pulizia, vecchie poltrone e tendoni pesanti e impolverati all'unica finesta. Questa poi era così alta che per potersi affacciare sotto la finestra hanno lasciato una scaletta, ma comunque l'affaccio era su un muro

We had a very smooth check-in, the bathroom was very clean and so was the room, the beds were very comfortable and we loved the location of the hotel. It was perfect for our short stay as we were right in the center of the city and we could walk around and visit on the day we arrived. Breakfast was delicious and we even received gluten free bread when we asked for it which we did not expect. Everything was perfect, we had a nice relaxing break in out drive.

Reviewed Jul 25, 2026A classy hotel in a prime location, right on the main square and within easy walking distance of the city's attractions. The room was spacious, comfortable, and made for a very pleasant stay. The staff, especially the housekeeping and reception teams, were exceptionally helpful and welcoming. The reception staff spoke English, which made communication smooth and hassle-free. The breakfast was decent, with a satisfactory selection of items. Overall, a wonderful hotel with excellent service, and I would happily stay here again.
The only improvements I would suggest are adding an internet-enabled smart TV and an electric kettle in the room. These would make the stay even more comfortable for international travelers.

In order to reach this hotel by car, you need to go through the pedestrian zone. Which is allowed for hotel guests but still... Then you get a kind of confirmation paper you put in your car in case you are stopped by the police. Also mind,that there was no refrigerator.

Il fatto che per arrivare alla stanza si esca dall'area climatizzata dell'hotel.. sembra di passare in un'area di serie B. Invece è un peccato perché la stanza è bellissima e curata. Spaziosa per 4 persone e quasi una mini suite per 2 persone con un bagno degno di lode.
