We stayed one night. The pool was a nice size, breakfast was tasty. The beds were comfortable and it was generally quiet.

There was a musty smell here in some corridors.

2026 Horrível, muito mau mesmo, não podia deixar passar esta situação sem escrever algumas palavras que descrevam este modesto pro mediucre hotel ** . Depois de uma noite mal dormida e algo desumana a conviver com um cheiro fétido a esgotos. Na manhã seguinte á saída encontramo-nos com uma equipa de limpeza no corredor, informámo- los do cheiro e um breve encolher de ombros foi  demonstrado. confrontados se eram todos os quartos assim, e entrando no quarto em frente em limpeza para verificar se havia cheiro a esgotos igual voltamos a insistir. Foi então que veio  uma informação com algum espanto, "todos os quartos deste eixo vertical"(inferiores e superiores) têm esse problema, mas só estes frizou. Indignado e chateado  pois quando me fizeram o check in já sabiam destes quartos nojentos então dirigi-me á receção para reportar o que aqui já mencionei. Fica o aviso, o quarto 216 ; e restantes terminados em .....  que não posso afirmar.  Mas digo-vos se quiserem aventura sentem-se a ver série televisiva tipo "Rambo" com plano de fundo bem real cheiros intensos a condutas de  M...  " 216 ". Resumindo não é o hotel esperado mais diria uma pensão com desgaste  em que o lugar onde se situa é bom local a não voltar.

The location

No kettle . No fridge . Thought the safe was broken then found out you have to hire the lock !!! No easy access to hotel , witnessed many struggling with suitcases up the front stairs . Had to hunt down staff members to get us checked in . And the rooms have no soundproofing, could hear every noise from surrounding rooms and corridor.

Location is great! Room is basic but clean. Came here after a terrible experience in a private house and needed last minute accommodation.

Make sure to request a balcony. All booking.com rooms advertise a balcony, however upon check in we were put in a small room with only a window and had to change rooms the next day (as we extended our stay). Balcony’s only have one chair and not very big.

Het Personeel was vriendelijk en behulpzaam en het hotel ligt mooi gelegen bij het centrum en strand.

De Foto's op het internet zien er mooier uit dan dat het daadwerkelijk is. Het meubilair is verouderd op kamer en in de badkamer. Kleine kamer en badkamer en het uitzicht was een hoge witte muur om ons terras. verwacht ook niet te veel van het zwembad, die is erg klein vergeleken met de foto's op het internet

Great location, clean rooms, simple but tasty breakfast. Comfortable beds

Pool area was very small, balconies tiny, only room for one person. some rooms are a bit dark and well worn, we managed to change to a fresher and brighter room. But this took 2 days to sort! Whilst staff are all very pleasant, the breakfast room was understaffed and we felt sorry for them each day! No parasols around the sunbeds so absolutely no escape from scorching sun..

The location, that’s it.

The noise! First room we were put on a floor with a lot of young lads who were wild. No security, left to do what they want. Reception staff said what do you expect! Moved to a higher floor and you could hear everything from snoring and passing wind from occupants in a near by room, others walking up and down the stairs. Zero sleep and I am not a light sleeper. Asked for an iron but they don’t have ironing boards and told you have to use the bed. Tiny room on the 1st floor, v small balcony (room for one chair). I asked for a refund so I could move hotels and they said no.

Location is super close to the beach and the city centre. It was clean and tidy. I liked the breakfast, as it had a lot of options, even though it could be better organised in terms of the tables. People were acting like children, reserving seats for other family members who were still in their rooms.

Whoever took the photos for this accommodation deserves a huge bonus, as it is much less nice than it looks in the photos. Some rooms are underground, and you are going to stare at a wall through your window/balcony - not a huge problem, just writing this so people are aware of it. I agree with other people: this hotel is full of lads and teenagers being rude and acting badly - just something else for people to be aware of.

Staff were lovely and friendly. The location was excellent and very close to supermarket, restaurants and pubs. Short walk to beach. Rooms basic but functional, and nice pool.

It would have been great to have a bigger balcony as unfortunately only one chair could fit. The walls seemed quite thin and sometimes noise was an issue from other rooms eg. Chairs dragging across floors. However I think this is due to the building itself being old, theres not much the staff could have done to fix this

Foi atribuído quarto sem as comodidades anunciadas no Booking, nomeadamente sem varanda e vista. Falta de limpeza. Cortinados em mau estado. Falta de isolamento.

Hotel staff were very friendly and answered all our queries.The location was ideal and we were able to walk everywhere as the beach and old town are 5 mins walk away.

The location and the old fashioned charm, loved the pool and roof terrace. Views from balcony were good and loved it was up beside the old church.

Balconies were a wee but small but you still had one and had the view!

Equipment dans la salle de bain défectueux (cable de douche), voir inexistant (sèche cheveux que sur demande), peu d'endroits pour faire sécher ses serviettes et bruit comme si on était live dans la rue de la soif la nuit

Había cucarachas, las hamacas del solárium y de y la piscina en general estaban muy mal. Muy antiguo y las paredes de cartón, se oía todo. Un hueco debajo de la puerta por el que se escuchaba ruido y entraban cucarachas.

- Le personnel de l'hôtel est très gentil. - L'emplacement de l'hôtel est bien.

- Hôtel très bruyant , impossible de dormir entre 8h et 10h du matin. -Les femmes de chambres sont très gentilles mais font énormément de bruit pendant leurs passage dans les chambres mitoyenne. -La cloche commence à 8h du matin et ca continue comme ca toutes les heures. -Le rideau est loin de la fenêtres , donc la chambre est éclairée dès le levé du soleil, c'est très désagréable.

Prezzo esoso per un albergo che di bello ha solo la hall della reception. Camere piccole, sporche e davvero poco curate, per non parlare del bagno e dell'odore di stantio diffuso. Colazione pessima e di scarsa qualità. Inoltre all'arrivo ci è stata chiesta una cauzione di 100 euro da resistuire al check out dopo aver controllato se in camera era tutto ok.

A localização é muito boa e a vista para o centro é muito bonita. O ambiente é agradável e os funcionários foram muito educados, atenciosos e prestativos durante a estadia. No geral, foi uma experiência muito boa.

Infelizmente, encontrei quatro baratas saindo do banheiro durante a estadia, o que foi bastante desagradável. Acredito que uma atenção maior à dedetização e à higiene dessa área poderia melhorar bastante a experiência dos hóspedes.

When we checked in we had to pay a hundred euro deposit, which was fine as we got it back. One of the ladies on the reception desk was also a bit rude. She came up in the middle of us checking in with another girl who was lovely and stated ‘girls do not use towels for makeup!!’ She seemed to be pretty cross. It made us a bit awkward. We wouldn’t use a towel to remove makeup but I think if you’re paying to stay in a hotel, obviously a towel may get dirty.

La habitación tenía algunos desperfectos. Alguna lámpara no tenía bombilla, uno de los enchufes suelto en el suelo debajo de la cama .

L' équipement de la chambre, la climatisation ne marchait pas bien, trop vieux matériel.

Great location, close to bars, restaurants and the beach. Spotlessly clean, room was basic but comfortable, fairly spacious and clean, with air con and small balcony. Staff were friendly. Pool was great, there was 7 of us and we were always able to get a sun bed. Breakfast was good, plenty of choice. Enjoyed having a drink at the hotel bar before we went out - decent cold beer! Would stay again.

La ubicación y algunos del personal

1. Habia varias personas del personal que pasaban bastante de las cosas que les decias, les comentamos que nuestra puerta cerraba mal y que no cerraba por dentro (nos dijeron que se cerraban automáticamente y les dijimos que no, que ya lo habiamos intentado y desde fuera se abria) lo cual me parece que afecta bastante a la seguridad que uno siente, y vamos les entro por un oido y les salio por el otro. 2. el wifi es de decoración ya que no funciona a ninguna hora del dia 3. el desayuno deja bastante que desear, los huveos revueltos suelen estar bañados en leche y dan bastante asco y no lo varian nada, por lo que si estas una semana se hace bastante repetitivo

Las almohadas son demasiado delgadas, no sostienen la cabeza lo suficiente.

Localização muito próxima a praia (fomos andando); EXCELENTE café da manhã (com fartas opções). Quarto e banheiro SUPER amplos. Para quem quiser ainda tem piscina bem convidativa. Recomendo!!!

Swimming pool & surrounding area was dirty & needs an urgent upgrade. Receptionist informed us that any makeup stains on towels would incur a €25 charge. Breakfast selection was very limited & attending staff seemed overwhelmed, as there were no cutlery or glasses available when I arrived for breakfast.

The buffet breakfast was tasty but a lot of the items on offer were not hot enough. The beans and sausages (frankfurters) were always cold whereas the scrambled egg was usually warm enough. The toilet in our room was wobbly and was not fixed even though I reported it to reception.

There was a horrific smell that lingered in the room & hallways. It was possibly a sewage issue. It would make you empty reach and feel sick.

The man in security was very helpful and kind!

The room we got wasn’t great, it was directly at street level, smelly bathroom and pillows were uncomfortable. Other guests were running in the hallway in the middle of the night, playing loud music until late night and room doors did a really poor job keeping the noise out. We were “helped” by a very rude member of staff when we got to him with some minor asks such as asking if tap water was drinkable. No one speaks Portuguese so this made things even harder for my parents to communicate with the staff.

The location

The air con leaked a huge puddle over the floor and unsurprisingly made the two of us poorly who stayed in that room. We weren't allowed a fresh towel, the rules are towels every two days. (We used one under the air.con for the.puddle it made) You're not allowed to have a bath due to all the plugs being removed. Not a single paracel around the pool or terrace, so its too hot to sit out in. The balcony only fits one chair on it!

The property is very very basic. If you want somewhere cheep and just to sleep it will suffice. We were asked on arrival to pay €100 deposit for the room which they said would be refunded within a week ( it's now 2week and we have not received it). We were really looking forward to the pool but it was small busy, freezing cold and not very clean. The location was good and it was close to some good restaurants.

The reception staff were not very helpful.

Buena ubicación

Humedades en algunos pisos. Típico hotel donde van turistas para salir de fiesta, eran muy ruidosos TODAS las noches al volver al hotel nos despertaban. Las puertas son de cartón y se oye todo. Las habitaciones parecen bastante más bonitas y grandes en las fotos. El buffet libre desayuno estaba bastante justo, tanto de sabor como de variedad, ningún zumo natural, café de máquina, personal justo para atender el servicio del bar y ser ágiles.

The rooms and corridors are very dated and could do with being refreshed. The pool area is an awkward shape which limits the number of sun loungers. There is no sun at the pool area after 4pm.

Hotellets bedste fordel var beliggenheden. Det ligger tæt på byens centrum, stranden og mange gode restauranter.

Hotellet var ikke særligt rent. Der var en ubehagelig lugt fra afløbet i bruseren, som bredte sig helt ind i soveværelset. Rengøringspersonalet talte og råbte meget højt tidligt om morgenen. Om natten larmede nogle unge gæster, selvom fester ikke er tilladt. Jeg vil ikke anbefale hotellet til personer, der søger ro og afslapning.

The location is brilliant. Beach 5 mins walk away. Plenty of restaurants and bars within 200m of hotel. Nice roof top sunbathing area.

The air-conditioning unit leaked the whole week. Spoke a number of times to reception but nothing changed. Balcony so tiny. The drip from the air-conditioning unit, onto my head as i walked out onto the balcony was so annoying.

La stanza aveva vista sulla città e si scorgeva il mare. La colazione, pagata a parte €8/persona, era più che accettabile, a parte un giorno che é mancata l'acqua e la macchina del caffè era spenta. Le persone della reception sono gentili e siamo riusciti a riavere la cauzione al check-out fatto alle 5:30 del mattino. Cmq, non riesco a dare più di 6/10. Hotels,

Sono stato al Vila Recife (Hotel) in camera doppia la seconda settimana di luglio 2026. Ho dovuto pagare in anticipo l'intera settimana al momento della prenotazione (€1.190, colazione esclusa). Appena arrivato nel 2 stelle mi chiedono €100 di cauzione, nel caso faccia danni alla stanza con arredamento molto semplice, che restituiscono dopo le ore 15 del giorno del check-out dopo che la housekeeper ha verificato che in camera è tutto a posto. Poi, chiedo la chiave della cassaforte, e vogliono €3/giorno, €21/settimana per l'utilizzo; non rimborsabile. Nel bagno senza finestre c'era un costante aroma di sottofondo di fogna, con un picco di notte; inoltre, la porta non si chiudeva, il lucchetto é stato montato disallineato e.la porta era senza serratura, così restava socchiusa. Non ho capito ogni quanto cambiassero gli asciugamani, hanno detto ogni 2 giorni, ma ho provato a lasciarli sul bordo della vasca per farmeli cambiare, ma la sera li ho ritrovati lì. Una sera é venuto a trovarci uno scarafaggio di 3 cm, che ha deciso di dormire con noi... Che avventura scacciarlo e che notte da incubo.. Il rapporto qualità/prezzo é basso, 189€/giorno per 2 persone é troppo per quanto offerto e non mi sono piaciute le policy del gruppo Barata Hotels, .

A localização era boa e a vista do terraço para o centro da cidade e para a praia.

As fotos não correspondem a realidade :( da entrada parece interessante mas a realidade é outra. Para o preço que cobraram as condições eram péssimas. No interior o cheiro é horrível, sujo e velho. O pequeno almoço muito fraquinho. Estamos em Portugal e os funcionários não falam português. A piscina e espreguiçadeiras nada agradáveis e encontramos uma barata morta no corredor :( Uma experiencia a não repetir!!!!

Uma das piores experiências que já tive num hotel. O preço cobrado é completamente injustificável para a qualidade do serviço prestado. O quarto encontrava-se mal limpo e, para agravar a situação, durante a estadia não foi feita a limpeza diária. É inaceitável pagar este valor e não receber um serviço básico de hotelaria. O isolamento acústico é simplesmente inexistente. Ouvia-se tudo o que acontecia nos quartos vizinhos e no corredor. Durante a madrugada chegaram vários grupos de jovens que fizeram um barulho insuportável, entre conversas aos gritos, portas a bater e constante movimentação, sem que o hotel tivesse qualquer preocupação em garantir o descanso dos restantes hóspedes. O ambiente era de total desorganização e muito mal frequentado. O pequeno-almoço foi outro enorme ponto negativo. A qualidade era muito fraca e a sala tinha um cheiro extremamente desagradável, tornando a refeição pouco apelativa e desconfortável. No geral, este hotel está muito abaixo dos mínimos aceitáveis. A relação qualidade-preço é péssima e não corresponde, de todo, às expectativas criadas. Não recomendo a ninguém que procure um local limpo, tranquilo e com um serviço minimamente digno do valor pago.
