Reviewed Aug 23, 2026Just outside the Sanctuary of BOM Jesus do Monte. English and continental breakfast included. Tiny cooler in the room. Free parking, if you are devout, you wouldn't mind the tolling of church bells, and on Saturdays at the right time, it is a musical feast with the church bells. The restaurant Panorâmico is at the Hotel do Elevador just opposite ours.
No kettle in the room for a cup of tea and I don't like calling the reception. Beware of the shower which could be very slippery. To enter the sanctuary vicinity, there is a payment of one euro and we could have it refunded at the hotel reception desk. But after 7pm, the barrier may not work and no receipt was given. But for a few euros, we didn't bother. The bottom of the full length mirror is cracked at the bottom.

Reviewed Jul 18, 2026Sauberes, gediegenes Hotel an wunderschöner Lage inmitten einer gepflegten Park- und Kirchenanlage auf dem Hausberg von Braga mit herrlicher Aussicht. Optimal für ein paar erholsame, entspannte Urlaubstage, grosse Zimmer, auch familientauglich. Belebte und kulturreiche Altstadt von Braga liegt nur 10 Autominuten entfernt. Zuvorkommendes Personal. Ausreichende, hoteleigene Parkplätze sind vor dem Hotel vorhanden (gebührenfrei, jedoch keine Reservation möglich). Reichhaltiges Frühstück inklusive. Ein paar wenige, gute Restaurants sind in der Umgebung - fussgängig in 5 bis 10 Minuten erreichbar - vorhanden (Tisch-Reservation empfohlen).

The pillows were soft, no idea what they were filled with? I usually take my own, but unfortunately on this trip I didn’t. Also, there was no electric tea kettle in the room.

Reviewed Jun 19, 2026Das Hotel in dem Ort Bom Jesus in der Nähe von Braga hat alle unsere Erwartungen erfüllt. Man kann direkt vor dem Hotel parken (die 1€ Parkplatzeintritt kann man sich zurückerstatten lassen). Die Zimmer sind sauber und groß und auch das Frühstück erfüllt alle Erwartungen. Eine Stornierung aufgrund eines Krankenhausaufenthaltes wurde freiwillig kostenfrei durchgeführt. Der Kontakt mit der Rezeption war stets positiv, emails wurden schnell beantwortet. Man muss sich nur in klaren sein, dass das Hotel in einem Naherholungsgebiet liegt und tagsüber viele Besucher in Bom Jesus sind. Nachts war das Hotel jedoch ruhig, man hat nur das Plätschern eines Springbrunnes gehört.
Es gibt im Haus kein Restaurant, sondern nur im fußläufigen Nachbarrestaurant. Alternativ sind Restaurants in Braga.

Отель позиционирует себя на 4*, что, по моему мнению, не соответствует Из туалетно-косметических принадлежностей - гель/шампунь и одна шапочка для душа для двоих гостей. Нет халатов, тапочек, нет чайника - многие 3* отели все это предоставляют. Завтраки стандартные: омлет, грибы, сосиски, сыры, ветчина, йогурты, фрукты, выпечка, кофе, чай.
Не осталось ощущения, что были в отеле 4*

Schöne Innenarchitektur mit zwei Auffenthaltsbereichen im glasüberdachten Innenhof, Lounge mit Bar und Terrasse davor. Moderne Aufzüge. Schön gestaltete Zimmer groß mit separater Dusche und separatem WC. Vorzone mit Tisch mit zwei Stühlen und Schrank. Hier könnte man auch mehrere Tage bleiben. Sehr gutes Frühstück. Sehr freundliches Personal. Kostenloses Parken vor dem Haus. (Man zahlt 1 Euro pro Einfahrt an der Schranke, bekommt diesen aber an der Rezeption erstattet.)
Teppich müsste insbesondere im Fensterbereich. gereinigt werden. Da haben wohl Gäste die Fenster bei Regen offenstehen lassen. Kein Safe. Kein Wasserkocher/ Begrüßungswasser.

O pequeno almoço foi decepcionante. As 8:30 já não havia pão para torradas (a simpática assistente de sala no fim anda conseguiu duas fatias de pão de forma que perguntou se aceitava que descongelassem). Sou fâ de panquecas mas não havia. Melhor mesmo foram as duas máquinas da Delta.

Reviewed Mar 29, 2026Uma das melhores experiências que eu e meu marido tivemos nessa viagem a Europa. O hotel superou nossas expectativas em todos os aspectos, ele está localizado em um dos pontos turísticos mais lindos de Braga.
Embora tudo tenha sido fantástico, quando entramos em nosso quarto, senti um pouco de cheiro de mofo. Porém, após deixar as janelas abertas, passou. Ah! Não tem um bidê ou uma ducha íntima.
