La ubicación es privilegiada. Desdel balcón de la habitación vimos la puesta de sol sobre Braga. La decoración es antigua pero muy cuidada, tiene carácter. Desayuno bastante variado.

La bañera no era práctica, solo tenía grifo arriba. Desyuno con bollería industrial.

Le personnel est très sympathique. L'emplacement est top, la vue et le Bom Jesus juste à côté sont superbes. Le petit déjeuner est bien complet et frais.

Nous avons été surpris en mal de l'équipement de la chambre et de son état, surtout pour un hôtel quatre étoiles. Nous nous attendions à un plus haut standing. Mal insonorisé.

Hotel super agradável, com temática rustica bem romântica preservada. Vista do quarto maravilhosa e espetacular. Tem um jardim lindo e mata a rodear o hotel que deixa o clima perfeito.

Location. Steps away from Bom Jesus Do Braga. An amazing restaurant with bar on site. Also an amazing view of the valley.

I could not have wished for a better location! Enjoyed my time in the hotel, exploring Bom Jesus and sitting outside the hotel having pizza and gelato. Superb hotel breakfast before seeing what I saw the day prior again. Staff were wonderful. Loved everything about my stay.

Restaurante: relação qualidade-preço medíocre. Camas individuais estreitas e muito ‘démodé’ Tomada elétrica com cabos à vista!!! A precisar de uma renovação urgente.

We were blown away by the location! The hotel is one of a complex of historic buildings nestled in lush woodlands at the summit of Braga's iconic Bom Jesus stairway. The location and views are magnificent, especially in the evening. The hotel is accessed through the entrance and the €1 fee is reimbursed by the hotel. The hotel itself is clean and comfortable, the staff friendly, and the restaurant serves excellent food. Altogether, a memorable experience.

Gostei da vista, do pequeno almoço e da maneira que fui acolhido.

O acesso de noite (não é culpa do hotel). Quem sair á noite para o centro de Braga sem transporte próprio, convém prever o regresso de táxi (+- 10€) pois o caminho carece de iluminação pública, e a pé é inimaginável .

Cafe da manha com pouca variação é baixa qualidade. Suco ruim, pouca fruta e pouca variedade.

Excelente estadia. Gostamos de tudo. Paisagem incrível, sossego, atendimento, pequeno-almoço muito bom.

No me gustó lo antiguo que está el hotel, la moqueta de la habitación y cortinas. No me gustó el desayuno, le faltaba calidad.

It was clean with fantastic views of Braga and majority of staff were very helpful . We were accommodated with a double bed as opposed to 2 singles and broom is quite large albeit a very dated fridge and TV in the room Bed was comfy and parking outside was easy with a refundable €1 to get into the Dom Jesus area which the hotel is inside. Nothing was too much trouble to organise extras if we wanted them.

No private hotel guest casual seating area on the outside. No service of drinks or snacks in the daytime after breakfast as the bar was closed so difficulty trying to buy a beer. We went to another hotel to get one in the end! Lots of coaches with tourists visiting the Dom Jesus so at times can be hectic parking further away . I Would class hotel as a 3 * due to lack of facilities not 4* Bathroom very tired and dated with thick grout and sink plug hole was difficult to manoeuvre to release dirty water so we removed it. Reported to very young evening lady at reception on arrival but never fixed. Shower had a curtain which stuck to your body when showering so that was annoying. It’s up a long steep winding hill but for a short stay it’s manageable to visit the area as comfortable with safe parking. All 3 hotels in area are owned by same group

Badezimmer sind nicht barrierefrei, sondern war mit Badewanne, so dass das Duschen für mich nicht möglich war. Es fehlte auch die rutschsichere Matte. Wurde zum Schwesterhotel umgebucht, plus 15 Euro, in dem dann allerdings die Bar und Terrasse um 19 Uhr geschlossen war. Mit Hinweis, das wäre im Schwesterhotel wieder. Ausserdem habe ich durch den Hotelwesechsel das Oster Feuerwerk verpasst! War sehr enttäuscht!

Hotel outside looks old , not well kept. Breakfast was of low quality

Breakfast was good. Fresh fruit, bread and assortment of cheese, ham, turkey and chorizo. Muffins, cereal, juices and coffee available. I love the view and the surroundings. Just walk outside and beautiful places at walking distance. Since it is inside a natural park no traffic. There are gardens and water fountains everywhere. Very peaceful. It was a pleasant surprise.

I could hear from my room people talking on the corridor. Although no sound from the surrounding rooms. Could be nice more isolation.

If you know this hotel, you already know its breathtaking views and excellent panoramic restaurant looking out over Braga. We have stayed here several times and would always come back. But if you do not know it, you need to be aware that it is in a popular park several km outside Braga up a steep hill, so if you do not have a car you need to work out how to get there (buses 2, 83 and 88, but a taxi is not too expensive, around 10 Euros from the centre). The staff are used to foreigners and give you a very good welcome. The little elevator is fun, but only useful as a way to get to the number 2 bus terminal.

It rained the whole time we were there.

It's a nice hotel, in a fantastic location, with nice, helpful staff and a good restaurant with attentive waiters.

The beds were small and uncomfortable. The hotel needs some refurbishing.

La chambre, envahi des bêtes 😞au point que on a du partir de la chambre !!! Très déçu,je déjà envoyée en email a Booking pour une réclamation... Inadmissible,j'ai même des photos et vidéos des bêtes dans les murs et plafonds et que tomber sur le lit!!!

Das Hotel überzeugt in jeder Hinsicht: äußerst freundliches und professionelles Personal, makellos saubere und stilvoll eingerichtete Zimmer sowie ein hervorragender Service. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig, frisch und von bester Qualität. Die Lage ist ideal. Man fühlt sich vom ersten Moment an willkommen. Wir kommen definitiv wieder und können dieses Hotel uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen!

Nada a destacar pela negativa

a arquitetura do quarto é má, na medida em que se alguém for á cada de banho durante a noite e acender a luz inevitavelmente vai incomodar quem está a dormir, pois não existem barreiras entre a casa de banho e a cama, sendo a porta da casa de banho em vidro translucido. Além do facto de não insonorizar a zona da casa de banho do resto do quarto. É um pormenor muito grave, na minha opinião.

Principalmente da localização, muito acessível para visitarmos o Bom Jesus. Os funcionários muito simpáticos e pequeno-almoço variado.

As carpetes não estavam bem limpas, só ter opção de duche não é muito prático e tinha alguns interruptores avariados como o da entrada do quarto e dos candeeiros da cama.

We got upgraded to the Hotel du Parquet, which is just up the hill, and probably suited us better. The room was a good size, we had a corner room with 3 large windows. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good, reasonable choice from cereals, fruit, cold meat and cheese, and scrambled eggs. The setting is beautiful. Manicured gardens leading down to Bom Jesus where it gets even prettier.

If there was a complaint, it's that there was no tea or coffee in the room. That seems to be the standard these days.

Pequeno almoço decepcionante para um hotel 4 estrelas.

Hotel is erg verouderd met veel achterstallig onderhoud. Kamer is anno 1960 met een gehaakt sprei uit oma’s tijd en versleten springveren matras. Badkamer, douchen in bad met gordijn. Restaurant is voldoende, als je dit hotel boekt ben je bijna verplicht hier te eten. Niets anders in de buurt in straal van 5km.

Não, gostei da limpeza ficou muito aquém para um hotel de 4 * O quarto em que fiquei fazia barulho de dia e noite, para quem quer descansar não recomendo.

The staff is so warm and hospitable. They really made the experience feel like a second home. I was not expecting to need a night at a hotel, so I only had on my hiking attire. Akk! But they insisted I not worry and to simply enjoy the restaurant, etc. The front desk staff person, Leandro, was as charming as they come. Smart, funny, and went out of his way to be helpful and make you feel welcome. The restaurant manager, Jose, was also sweet and quick to answer questions or find whatever you might need. Room was clean and well prepared. The view of the gardens was phenomenal! The whole experience there was just so peaceful and lovely! The 30 Euro fixed price dinner, including soup and dessert, hit the spot. (The only caveat: I will never get used to a restaurant bringing you bread and olives, then charging you for them, insisting if you don't want them you should simply ignore. Are they going to serve these to other people?? I think so and that creeps me out!)

There was a water stain in the hallway that they really need to take care of. But it did not affect my excellent stay. At 68 euro, including tax and breakfast, it was a wonderful deal.
