Breakfast concept is somewhat peculiar

The location is excellent, and we were pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to park the car given we were in the middle of the old town. The lobby is spectacular and nicely emphasises the building's history. The breakfast was also very good and a really pleasant start to the day. Well done.

The rooms felt a little worn and could do with some refurbishment in places. The aircon system was not very responsive.

Hotel 5 étoiles, je ne sais pas pourquoi. Nous sommes arrivé à l'hôtel pas de réceptionniste pour prendre nos bagages à l'arrivé et au départ nous nous sommes débrouillé tout seul malgré mon handicap, le trolet complètement abimé et cassé, toiles d'araignées de partout, la porte de la salle de bain et mobilier faisaient pitiés, le petit déj nous avions l'impression de déranger, la table était très salle, cela ne dérangé pas le serveur qui a mis du temps pour venir la nettoyer et à l'encontre de sa volonté, il avait osé me dire que c'est la déco de table, j'ai des lunettes mais je ne suis pas aveugle, produit de qualité mais le choix faisait pitié ainsi que la quantité en plus servi dans des assiettes zara home, et o où sommes nous dans un 5 étoiles?????, de plus pour 1 nuit j'ai payé 90€ de frais pour mon petit chien et pour se prix même pas de lit ou de gamelle pour chien. La déco est pas mal mais il n'a pas du tout le prestige et le service d'un 5 étoiles.

Hotel muy céntrico, bien situado para visitar a pie el casco histórico. Nos dieron una habitación amplia con cama muy cómoda de 2m x 2m. Hay cafeterías en las proximidades. Hay un aparcamiento público (Sto. Tomé), 40 metros antes de llegar al hotel, antes de doblar la esquina (20 €/día); si está completo no suele tardar mucho en quedar alguna plaza libre. El hotel tiene un vestíbulo muy vistoso, con una bonita montera acristala en colores; hay una barra de bar elegante y muchos sofás y butacas, con música ambiente agradable.

Nos dieron una habitación con ventanas a un patio interior. El ambientador sólo opera en el vestíbulo de entrada; en los pasillos resulta ineficaz. Es inmerecida la quinta estrella turística que tiene concedida, ni por la atención en Recepción, ni por la excelencia de sus instalaciones.

Very disappointed to arrive to ve informed we would need to pay an extra 90€ for our small dog to stay with us for one night! I ubderstabd other guests were also surprised and unhappy about this cost.

Hemos tenido una experiencia muy agradable. El lobby es precioso, un espacio con mucho encanto donde estuvimos tomando un cóctel y disfrutando del muy buen ambiente que había. El desayuno nos sorprendió gratamente: todo era casero, de gran calidad y realmente delicioso. Además, los baños son amplios, modernos y completamente nuevos, lo que aporta un plus de comodidad a la estancia. Sin duda, un hotel muy recomendable y al que nos encantaría volver.

Llegamos en tren a Toledo y desde la estación tardamos menos de 10 minutos en taxi. Cuando llegamos era muy temprano y no tenían la habitación libre, pero nos cogieron el teléfono para avisarnos, nos fuimos a dar una vuelta por la ciudad, la catedral está a cinco minutos, las sinagogas y el museo del Greco todo muy cerca. Nos llamaron cuando estuvo lista la habitación, cosa que agradecimos. El lobby es precioso y estaba muy animado. El desayuno nos encantó, te ponen unos platitos con una selección de salados y dulces casero, muy bien de cantidad y calidad. El personal muy amable, nos sentimos muy a gusto y muy cuidados. A tener en cuenta en Toledo.

La habitación y el colchón fueron muy acogedores. El restaurant me pareció formidable. la ubicacion del hotel es inmejorable. el servicio y el ambiente que hay me gusto muchisimo.

Fue una estancia genial. Todo el personal muy amable y profesional. Desayuno diferente con productos caseros y de buena calidad. El bar del lobby muy tranquilo y con unos cocteles muy buenos. Fuimos con un perrito y nos pusieron una camita para él, un detalle. Agradecimiento especial a Javier que nos ayudó con las maletas y acompañó a la habitación.

A pesar de la dificultad de aparcamiento al tratarse de un casco histórico, desde la recepción te informan previamente a la llegada donde puedes aparcar y la mejor forma para llegar al hotel.

Como puede ser que en una reserva hecha en el mismo momento por el día del viernes te cobren un precio y por el del sábado otro! Como te pueden presentar al pago una factura por un día de estancia cuando ya queda otro por estar como pueden cobrar el mismo precio para una habitación doble uso single que para una habitación doble? solamente personal extranjero puede creer que un cinco estrellas en España es así Sinceramente hay alguien que viaje con frecuencia que este hotel El Eugenia de Montijo de Toledo es un cinco estrellas Revisenselo Uds por que esto quita mucha credibilidad a sus recomendaciones.

Last Wednesday, 24th June, we arrived to Toledo via Madrid. It was 40 degrees and we had travelled from Cadiz. We were not guests at the hotel and were looking far from our best. We were welcomed graciously and a table was found in the busy restaurant. The service we received from Pablo and Herman was exemplary - they were friendly, courteous and very knowledgable about the food, wine and the history of the hotel. It was a delightful evening.

Eugenia De Monitjo is a lovely hotel in old town Toledo. It's a great location for exploring the old town and is within walking distance of many of Toledo's attractions and restaurants. We had two rooms for our family of four. The rooms were beatifully decorated and very clean, but they were on the small-side, as were the bathrooms. Beds were very comfortable, rooms were quiet, and room amenities were good (robes/slippers, mini-fridge, hair dryer, iron, in-room safe, bath products, etc.) Our rooms did not have views and overlooked the interior courtyard. Bedrooms and bathrooms had good lighting and a/c. Lobby and bar is really nice, and breakfast was delicious with good service. Parking is a bit of a hassle - the hotel does not have parking nor do they offer valet parking. You can park at a public garage for a fee. There is a public garage about a block or two away, but it fills quickly - that's what happened to us, so we had to park in a garage much further from the hotel. Front desk staff was courteous. Our rooms were not ready when we arrived (we arrived prior to check-in time.) The hotel held our luggage for us, but they did not store it away. It sat next to the front desk the whole time, which we didn't care for. We got drinks in the lobby bar prior to dinner (very nice bar,) and there must have been a new bartender working as my husband ordered a gin martini and it was served warm...One thing to note is that the floor of the bathroom is VERY slippery when wet. I went to a hang towel and was wearing a pair of the complimentary bedroom slippers. Well, "slippers" is the appropriate name as there was some water outside of the shower as my husband had just taken a shower, and I almost fell hard on my backside from the slippery floor (the floors are white and look lovely, but it's hard to tell if they are wet or not.) I caught myself on the shower partition with my arm and fortunately didn't fall. But I have a huge bruise on the outside of my forearm as a result. Overall, we had a good experience and would recommend Eugenia De Montijo Hotel.

Absolument pas dog-friendly. L’hôtel accepte officiellement les chiens, mais nous avons découvert seulement à notre arrivée qu’un supplément de 90 € pour le séjour était exigé pour notre chien, même si nous restions seulement 1 nuit, soit près de 40 % du prix de la chambre, sans aucune information tarifaire préalable. De plus, notre chien n’était autorisé nulle part dans l’hôtel, dès lors qu’il s’agissait d’espaces avec boissons ou nourriture. Autant dire qu’il était pratiquement interdit de séjour. Nous voyageons très régulièrement avec notre chien et n’avons jamais été aussi déçus de l’accueil réservé à notre animal. Dans ces conditions, il vaudrait mieux ne pas accepter les chiens du tout, plutôt que d’appliquer des tarifs exorbitants sans transparence tarifaire. À titre de comparaison, nous avons séjourné le lendemain dans un autre hôtel 5 étoiles : le supplément pour notre chien était de 25 € par nuit, un panier et des bols étaient déjà installés dans la chambre, et il pouvait nous accompagner partout dans l’hôtel, à l’exception du spa. Une vraie politique dog-friendly. Par ailleurs, notre chambre n’était pas prête à 19h. Après avoir monté nous même toutes nos valises, nous avons dû changer de chambre et d’étage et tout transporter à nouveau. Enfin, la chambre ne justifiait absolument pas son prix : tapis taché, finitions de salle de bain médiocres, trous dans l’édredon. Cet établissement ne mérite clairement pas ses 5 étoiles et doit revoir sa politique concernant les animaux. Nous ne reviendrons pas dans cet hôtel, c’est certain!

This was a gorgeous property - interior design and amenities were superb. It had a wonderful feel throughout the public areas. The staff could not have been more friendly & helpful, the location was 10/10 for us and we had a lovely room. Public parking was very close by.

No complaints - all was above expectations.

I stayed 5 days here and was so impressed with the welcome of the team - who couldn’t do enough. They were so friendly and kind, bringing or finding me anything I needed. I also appreciated the lovely room with a tiny balcony (a big deal in such a packed city), and the lively and beautiful lobby. Also, the gym was just big enough to work perfectly for me and was only busy one day. I want to particularly acknowledge Sara on reception, who was amazing; so kind and helpful.

The smell of detergent was everywhere. They need to change the product used or use less of it. The place smelled like a hospital corridor. The breakfast was also disappointing. While it was imaginatively plated like high tea, the quality was very low. I would not recommend anyone ordering it.

Un hotel de 5 estrellas no debería cobrar 70€ por un circuito de spa. Se entiende que es un servicio incluído propio de un hotel de esa categoría. Deberían invertir en un secador de calidad para las señoras: un secador barato de Babyliss no es suficiente. Huele a quemado y se para a los 10 min. Tampoco hay botones que abra la puerta y ayude con las maletas propio de un 5*

Très fonctionnel, accueil charmant

We had a wonderful, two night stay here. The hotel is small and personal. The common areas and rooms are beautiful, traditional yet modern. The staff is attentive and friendly. And the location is perfect: close to everything, yet in a quiet neighborhood. And we loved Toledo! Plenty of interesting sights to see, but peaceful (particularly in the evenings). Highly recommended!

Realment no es un hotel de cinc estrelles. Van reservar una habitación superior de 28 metros i ens van donar una standard de 20 mts , quan vam .protestar van dir que no tenien lhabitacio reservada i ens en van donar una superior mes petita i res a veure amb la de la reserva i ens van cobrar lo mateix.L’esmorzar tampoc correspon a un 5 estrelles ni a un 4.A la sortida de l’hotel no hi ha ningu que ajudi amb les maletes …fatal,pero no es culpa del personal sino de la direccio.

Super séjour dans un hôtel situé dans un ancien palais historique. Personnel très disponible et efficace. Petit-déjeuner remarquable. Emplacement géographique excellent, au centre du Tolède historique. On pouvait alle à pied vers tous les pricipaux sites historiques et monumentaux.

Me han encantado todo. El desayuno es un lujo: servido en la mesa con mimo. Mucha calidad en los productos. La cama y la almohada muy cómodas, limpieza exquisita. Además, nos habían subido el equipaje a nuestra habitación porque, cuando llegamos, no estaba aún disponible aquella y tuvimos que dejarlo en recepción.

Brautiful hotel in a perfect location. Our room was lovely with an extremely comfortable bed and beautiful decor. The breakfast was delicious and included in the price which was very reasonable given the luxurious nature of the hotel. We were delighted and would highly recommend it.

Die Lage war ruhig und nahe am Zentrum

Hoteleingang und Lobbi riechen nach Chlor und etwas nach Toilette. Hotel ist schlecht gesichert. Jeder kann ohne Schlüsselkarte mit den Aufzug in alle Etagen fahren. 30cm unter unserem Fenster war ein Gulli, der öfters übel roch. Mehrere Zummerfenster gehen zum ehemaligen Innenhof auf, der überdacht ist, so dass auch andere Hotelgäste durch das Fenster bequem einsteigen könnten. Fenster öffnen fiel deshalb komplett aus. Unsere Bitte nach einem anderen Zimmer wurde unfreundlich abgelehnt. Erst als ich sagte, dass ich eine Bewertung schreibe, wurde uns ein höher gelegenes Zimmer gegeben.

The location was very good in terms of walking around the old city. We chose the hotel for the location, and it was very good in that aspect.

Breakfast (not included in our price) was € 29 pp. Extremely high for what we ended up getting. At check-in, were told to make a reservation for our group of 9, which we did, through the reception. The next morning, there was no reservation. they forgot to tell the breakfast team. The breakfast team consisted of two young women trying frantically to serve made to order breakfast for all the guests!! This is the reason there are buffet breakfasts!! Not everything can come on time, cold eggs are served, some plates did not arrive etc. If Marriott cannot afford more help, they should not try to be fancy. Also, we received only a half liter of water for the two of us in the room, and that's only for the first night. Pretty stingy for a five-star.

Nice Deco, location

The breakfast was a disaster, the waitresses were very polite but poor girls could not manage with the demand, only two to serve the pick hour, imposible. The breakfast was very poor for the cost of 29 euros, no buffet so everything came late and cold, we gave it back after waiting for a long time. Very dissapointing. Rooms very small, no place to put one suitcase so we put it in The bathroom ‘s floor.

De locatie. Je kunt alles te voet bereiken. Ruime badkamer met zeer goede inloopdouche. Comfortabel bed. Fijn dat er er bar en restaurant is met prettige openingstijden.

Lawaai van buitenunit van airco onder onze kamer. Matige wifi zowel in de kamer als in de lobby.

Ventanas sin vistas No estaba limpio, pasamos varias noches con las mismas sábanas y el retrete sin limpiar. Acceso en coche muy difícil, no reservan plazas para los clientes en la entrada del hotel. El desayuno es una estafa, ponen 1 kiwi, 2 fresas y 3 arandanos para dos personas.
