Le déjeuner était très bon , l'accueil également très sympathique. L'emplacement était bon pas loin du tout de la Lichterallée et du centre de Baden-Baden. Pour la chambre supérior rien à redire et l'attention d'une carafe d'eau à notre disposition dans notre chambre à notre arrivée, top.

La salle de bain un peu exigue mais bien équipé.

Immer wieder Störungen draußen durch Rangieren von Autos, Türenschlagen, laute Gespräche, etc. Hintergrund: Es gibt unter dem Hotel eine Tiefgarage, wo die Fahrzeuge der Hotelgäste hintereinander geparkt werden. Deshalb muss man auch den Autoschlüssel an der Rezeption abgeben. Je nachdem, wie weit man "hinten in der Reihe" steht, gestaltet sich das Rangieren aufwendig.

A one night stay here. Staff really helpful and friendly, especially in describing what there was to offer in Baden Baden. You also receive a discount card which is useful for attractions within the town. the location is smack bang in the middle of the town - you couldn't ask for better. Secure parking too. The room was comfortable and to a modern standard. I slept well. Breakfast was great and again the staff were extremely good - attentive, adaptable and made sure it was a really good experience.

We were late arriving and were hoping to dine in the hotel restaurant, however it was shut for that day but nothing on their website or booking told us this. The staff were also quite rude and unhelpful when I asked about booking to dine with them. For this reason we will not be recommending this Hotel

Inchecken duurde heel lang, en het bed werd pas laat in de avond voor mijn zoon opgemaakt. Er waren geen dekens. Parkeerplaats , ze verplaatsen je auto als dat nodig is. Parkeergarage is goedkoper!

Sehr freundliche Personal, tolles Frühstück, Parkplätze mit E-Ladestation und eine fantastische Lage in einer Hotelruhezone. Trotz der der Hitzewille hat die mobile Klimaanlage mein Zimmer ausreichend gekühlt. Ich war jetzt das zweite Mal innerhalb einer Woche im Hotel Merkur und komme sehr gerne wieder. Ich habe mich ausgesprochen wohl- und willkommen gefühlt!

Een mooi en schoon hotel, met super vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel (echt allemaal!) en een heerlijk uitgebreid ontbijt. We kregen een upgrade naar een suite met enorm veel ruimte en comfort! De receptioniste hielp met het parkeren van onze auto en maakte een gezellig praatje. Het was echt een welkome ervaring om hier aan te komen en gewoon jammer dat we maar 1 nacht konden blijven!

Echt het enige kleine minpuntje was dat de badkamer erg krap was in verhouding tot de gigantische suite, waarbij de toilet klem zat tussen muur en het ligbad, en je moest douchen in het bad en daarbij heel erg moest oppassen niet uit te glijden. Het was best lastig manoeuvreren… Ik baal ervan dat ik dit moet zeggen, want verder was alles zo geweldig, dus dit zag ik graag over het hoofd!

Hele mooie en goede ligging. Aan de rand van het hele mooie en gezellige centrum. De kamer is niet heel erg luxe maar wel heel netjes. De huisgemaakte gerechten bij het ontbijt zijn ook zeker aan te bevelen.

Je n'ai pas eu de réponse à mes mails avant notre arrivée. Aucun employé ne parlait français, alors que c'était noté dans le descriptif. Le rideau occultant ne couvrait que la moitié de la surface de la fenêtre, et la climatisation mobile ne fonctionnait pas correctement et faisait un bruit épouvantable. Pour finir pour recharger notre voiture électrique le tarif était exorbitant et ne chargeait que 3.5 KWH équivalent à une prise domestique, incompréhensible dans un hôtel qui se dit équipé Le rapport qualité prix n'est pas à la hauteur.

Mobiles klimagerät mit Schlauch aus dem Fenster ! Keine Luft im Zimmer . Klimagerät hat kaum gekühlt und war Mega laut . An schlaf war nicht zu denken . Sind vorzeitig abgereist ! Zimmertür hatte einen großen lichtspalt zum Flur, ..Bad hatte Glasschiebetür ..es war ungemütlich wenn man alle Geräusche vom Partner hört , wenn dieser im Bad ist ! Für das, was das Hotel bietet zu teuer .. nicht nochmal für uns

Leider war es sehr warm und es gibt nur eine mobile Klimaanlage, aber wenigstens gab es eine. Bei dem alten Gebäude ist das wohl nicht anders möglich.

Morgenmaden var fantastisk, og personalet ved morgenmaden var glade og servicemindede, modsat personalet i receptionen. Den gode morgenmad er eneste årsag til, at den samlede bedømmelse ikke ligger helt i bund

Værelset var meget småt, inkl. mikroskopisk badeværelse. Den oplyste aircondition var et larmende monstrum stående på gulvet og med et rør ud af vinduet, som så var nødt til at stå åbent. Især badeværelset var ikke rengjort ordentligt. Og til jer hos booking.com: Oplys venligst om meromkostninger som fx betaling for parkering og turisttax.

Hotellage ist gut. Nur ein paar Schritte und man ist am Kurpark, Theater, usw.“ Das Frühstück war sehr gut. Es wurden extra Wünsche erfüllt, wie Kaffeespezialitäten und Eierspeisen. Sehr günstige Preise für Getränke aus der Minibar. Das Badezimmer war sehr klein, aber genügend Ablagemöglichkeiten für eigene Kosmetikartikel. Nette und freundliche Mitarbeiter.

Wir hatten ein Zimmer in der dritten Etage, das hatte wenig Tageslicht. Kurz nach der Ankunft haben wir den Schreibtischstuhl reklamiert der so wackelte das wir ihn nicht nutzen konnten. Es wurde sich nicht gekümmert. Parken würden wir beim nächsten Mal in der ca. 50 Meter entfernten öffentlichen Tiefgarage, dann ist man unabhängiger.

Die Lage ist großartig und sehr zentral. Es gibt Parkplätze und die sind für Baden Badener Verhältnisse sogar halbwegs günstig. Das Personal ist extrem freundlich, das Frühstücksbuffet großzügig und frisch.

Die Einzelzimmer sind wirklich überschaubar "groß" und die Matratzen leider ziemlich weich (ich sage nicht durchgelegen!). Nachdem es keine Klimaanlage gibt, wurde ein mobiles Klimagerät ins Zimmer gestellt. Das war leider extrem laut und nachdem der Schlauch aus dem Fenster geht, sprich das Fenster dauerhaft gekippt sein muss, kommen allerlei Stechfliegen ins Zimmer, sobald abends Licht brennt. Ohne Klimagerät ist leider keine Option, weil es dann leider sehr schnell sehr stickig wird.

Friendly staff at the front desk and the breakfast area. You have to look out for the gentleman who manages the breakfast area, he's quite a friendly and charming personality. Good breakfast spread, loved the mini cakes which they had put out. Situated at a short walk from the gardens, shopping and restaurants. You can walk from the hotel to both the spa's which are located in the city.

No Air conditioning in the room so it could get a tad hot. But the person in housekeeping was sweet enough to promptly get a portable unit immediately.

Hi This is to share my experience of stay at Hotel Merkur. The front desk staff and also the staff at the restaurant during breakfast were very co-operative and helpful. The only downside is that except for the suites none of the rooms have air-conditioning. So it got very hot when I visited in May and had to request for portable fans which were promptly provided. We appreciate that. I aso had a bad experience probably due to our carelessness but a cover of money was stolen from my daughter's room. She had left it in her handbag in a rush when she went out for sightseeing instead of putting in the safe. Evidently it was taken by one of the room cleaning staff. It may have been our carelessness but that was no reason for it to get stolen from my daughter's purse. We did report this to Mr. Matthias Hirsch, the owner of the hotel. He said he did enquire with two of his housekeeping staff who had cleaned my daughter's room but they mentioned there was only a suitcase in the room and nothing else. This is not possible as my son and she were both sharing the rooms and they had two large and two small suitcases between them. Also my daughter's handbag containing the cover was lying in the room when she had stepped out as she was carrying another bag. Evidently the staff lied about this and Mr. Matthias chose to believe them rather than his guests. We are well travelled and even we have the sense not to falsely accuse any staff. But evidently we are 100% sure it was stolen from the room. Anyways it was our carelessness but would have liked if Mr. Matthias could have taken more action towards the concerned housekeeping staff and not believe their story. Also the house-keeoing staff had entered my room on one occasion even when i had the Do not Disturb sign hanging outside. They said they had to leave at a certain time so they need to clean the room. So this is a request to all future travellers to the hotel to be very vigilant and careful about their belongings lying in the room.

Das Personal war im Schnitt ganz ok, aber extrem negativ ist uns die brünette Rezeptionistin mit den Tatoos am Arm aufgefallen. Sie war extrem unfreundlich. Aber was für uns total inakzeptabel war, wie sie sich am Tag der Abreise verhalten hat. Auf Bitte ob unser Auto noch in der Garage bis 16.00 Uhr stehen darf, da es da kühl war und wir unsere Medikamente dort sicher lagern wollten. Das hat sie verneint, da ja so viele Besucher heute noch kommen. Die Garage fasst bis zu 10 Autos, darin waren an dem Tag auch später nicht mehr als 3, somit weitgehend ungenutzt. Da wir also unser Auto nicht stehen lassen durften, fragten wir ob sie die Medikamente dann im KÜHLSCHRANK! lagern kann. Wie den ganzen Aufenthalt über hat sie natürlich nicht richtig zugehört und dann die Medikamente in das Gefrierfach gelegt. Das hat natürlich alle Medikamente im Wert von weit über 100€ zerstört. Da dies extrem wichtige Medikamente waren welche ich am selben Tag (ein Sonntag) noch nehmen musste war dies natürlich fatal. Da Sonntag war, war ich den ganzen restlichen Tag damit beschäftigt eine Not-Apotheke zu finden. Ich durfte bis Stuttgart fahren um diese Medikamente aufzutreiben. Vielen Dank an die äusserst inkompetente Rezeptionistin die diesen Auftenhalt zu einem der schrecklichsten für uns machte.

Difficult to find, and parking awkward because google sends you wrong, and the actual street down to it looks inaccessible, but it’s not.

Het enige wat ik kan bedenken en dat is een beetje flauw maar de koelkast in mijn kamer werkte niet goed, warme biertjes daar wordt niemand blij van😅

Super nettes, zuvorkommendes Personal, an der Rezeption; sowohl auch im Frühstückssaal. Das Zimmer hatte alles, was man benötigt, sehr sauber und geräumig. Betten sehr gut! Schöner Flair😊 Bad neu und gut ausgestattet! Gerne wieder ! 🌸

Goede locatie vlak bij of in centrum. Ontbijt was zeer goed. Bed was goed op slapen. Kamer alles aanwezig ( soms kapot)

Warmte in de kamer geen airco. Koelkast kapot dus als je dacht wat af te koelen door een drankje helaas. Doorgegeven maar werd niets mee gedaan. Badkamer deur zit in de weg als je naar binnen of naar buiten wil. Kraan douche zeer moeilijk op temp te krijgen makkelijk te verhelpen door een thermostaatkraan te bevestigen. Parkeren kost 19 euro per nacht (duur) wat in een eigen garage waar je ook niet zomaar in en uit kan rijden (en niet zelf meer in kan als je iets ben vergeten )omdat ze achter elkaar staan en hier door ook je auto sleutel moet afgeven wat ik eigenlijk niet wil maar wat moet je anders.

The staff, location and room were exceptional. They checked us in early and the suite was beautiful. Is a short walk to the inner city.

Very minor inconvenience but the bathroom was very narrow so difficult to get into the shower and not a lot of room for toiletries so bring a hanging toiletry bag.

After moving rooms, the room was very good. Great location for the center of Baden baden-and the staff were very helpful. I would stay again.

First room we had smelt strongly of cigarette smoke, even though it was classed as a no smoking room. Was given another room which was fine.

The room was nice and equipped with everything necessary. The staff was polite and professional, from the receptionists to the restaurant waiters. The location was also very convenient. Surprisingly, the coffee served at breakfast was actually good, which is quite rare in hotels. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at the hotel and would definitely recommend it. The staff, location, cleanliness, and overall atmosphere made the experience very pleasant. There are a few areas that could be improved, especially the internet connection and breakfast variety, but these were relatively minor issues compared to all the positives. If reliable high-speed internet is not a priority, this hotel is an excellent choice and offers great value for money.

Although the breakfast was tasty, the variety of food was limited. The internet connection was very poor and did not work at all on the first night. The room was also quite small, making it difficult to find enough space to fully open a suitcase.

The staff are very friendly and helpful,the breakfast was lovely and the rooms where spacious and very clean honestly I can't fault this place .

There was a problem with the Internet in the rooms but the hotel explained it was a public holiday and they had trouble sorting it,however there was Internet at the restaurant and they where so kind to connect us to a secured router to make important calls

The hotel is very close to the downtown. The breakfast is good. The staff at the restaurant are very welcoming.

Parking is a challenge as the space is very limited that you might have to park behind someone else's car. So they ask to take your key in case they have to move the car. Also, the front desk staff leave after 11pm. So if the parking space is full, tough luck.
