Reviewed Sep 19, 2026Zimmer und vor allem Badezimmer geosszügig gross. Wunderbares authentisches Hotel in altem Gemäuer, schön ausgebaut mit grossartigem Garten und schönem Pool. Gutes Restaurant mit Innen- und Aussenbereich, von wo man einen herrlichen Blick nach Perugia hat.
Unser Zimmer hatte leider nur ein sehr kleines Fensterchen, was bei den drei Standardzimmern so ist. Für eine Nacht war das aber kein Problem für uns.

Ristorante ha poca varietà del menu', anche se il cibo era buono, il cameriere gentile non tutti!! atteggiamento un po scocciato come se vabbè finiamo in fretta.. che dobbiamo andare a casa.. la fretta nella chiusura la sera del ristorante lasciati soli alle 23.00, e chiedendo cosa volevamo di dolce al secondo piattto!! quando si può Prenotare la cena fino alle 21.30 !! nb abbiamo mangiato 2 sere e sempre stessa cosa.. quindi non un eccezione Inoltre non liquori a termine pasto, non avevano Rhum o altro ma solo amari o poco altro. non è accettabile,, non c'è nemmeno un bar aperto per bere qualcosa dopo cena.. Piscina con bar ma cameriere distratto ed assente , dovevi cercarlo per chiedere una birra... anche qui visto il costo del soggiorno indecente..

Restaurant en ontbijt waren slecht. Hier moet echt meer aandacht aan besteed worden. Ongezellige uitstraling, vaak producten die niet vers waren, en het personeel ziet het niet eens. Zonde! Op onze kamer functioneerde de wc niet. Na meerdere keren klagen kregen we op de derde dag een nieuwe kamer. Ook in het hotel heeft het personeel geen 'horeca oog': lege flessen en kopjes blijven uren staan, stoelen staan schots en scheef, etc.

Reviewed Aug 9, 2026La struttura è esteticamente la più bella in cui abbia mai soggiornato, emozionante riuscire a vivere anche solo per una notte un castello, in cui anche le stanze sono state arredate quanto più possibile in tema, mantenendo il livello di comfort di un 4 stelle. Gli ambienti interni ed esterni sono tutti meravigliosi, ogni scorcio meriterebbe una fotografia. Ho apprezzato molto la presenza degli accappatoi in camera, oltre che degli asciugamani. Nella zona delle piscine, mettere a disposizione dei teli per gli ospiti è una coccola ulteriore che la struttura regala a chi risiede. Le piscine sono piccole, ma ben incorniciate nell’ambiente circostante. Ottimi i biscotti della colazione. Servizio molto attento e gentile da parte di tutto lo staff. Nel complesso un soggiorno estremamente rilassante in un luogo magnifico.
Ci sono solo due piccole pecche: il mantenimento delle piscine e la colazione. Per quanto riguarda le piscine, penso che potrebbero beneficiare di una persona addetta alla cura dell’acqua, che non era sporca ma evidentemente non curata quanto mi aspetterei in una struttura di tale livello. La colazione, invece, era sì completa, ma la qualità del cibo era inferiore rispetto a ciò che mi aspetto da un 4 stelle. Croissant caldi, ma palesemente industriali esattamente come gli altri dolci eccetto per i biscotti, succhi da supermercato e niente spremute fresche, poca varietà di frutta. Anche per quanto riguarda il salato, niente di più di quanto si possa trovare in un buffet di un comune 3 stelle.

Reviewed Jul 16, 2026Struttura bella e immersa nella natura. Vicino a Perugia (non più di 5 minuti in auto dal posteggio di Via Ripa di Meana). Posteggio presso la struttura comodo.
Unica pecca della struttura è il ristorante. Le foto dei piatti non rappresentano la realtà. La qualità del cibo purtroppo non è stata all'altezza della struttura (prima sera insalata di spinaci che di fatto era un semplice pugno di foglie di spinaci messe nel piatto senza alcun condimento,seconda sera hamburger non del tutto cotto e freddo...). Abbiamo mangiato due sere e poi scelto altre soluzioni....

Where to start. 😩 Stocks depleted. No draught beer. Untrained and scruffy staff. Air con broke. No fans. No hot water one morning followed by no water at all one day. Service in restaurant patchy. No wine list to choose from. Wine locked away with chain and padlock in cabinet in restaurant. Pool unclean. Table cloths still dirty from dinner time when we went for breakfast. Needless to say we requested to leave early and changed our itinerary as we didn't want to stay any longer.

TV molto piccola in camera, meglio non metterla se non è funzionale. La doccia con la tendina nel bagno non è molto comoda. Servirebbe almeno un secondo tappetino da usare dopo che il bagno si asciuga. Sapone intimo...non è da tutti prevederlo, ma se si decide di inserirlo nel kit bagno perché lesinare? Se gli ospiti della stanza sono due bisognerebbe far trovare due bustine e non una. In sintesi bene tutto ma visti i prezzi si potrebbe migliorare per diventare davvero eccellenti.

Er zijn veel opstapjes/trapjes, dus is iets om rekening mee te houden als je minder goed te been bent.

Reviewed Jun 6, 2026Il castello è stupendo e tutto è estremamente ordinato e pulito, ma senza "effetto museo" e ci si sente comunque a proprio agio. La nostra stanza (Cardinale) era ampia e molto accogliente. Abbiamo usufruito di tutti i servizi wellness ed abbiamo passato una mattinata di relax estremo, dopo la colazione eccezionale sulla terrazza con vista sulle colline umbre e Perugia. Un posto fantastico per passare un paio di giornate rigeneranti, con tanti punti nel giardino dove sedersi. Ottima la posizione per visitare Perugia e Assisi. Staff sempre gentile e disponibile

Ons verblijf werd verpest door de airconditioning die niet functioneerde in de kamer, en wij hadden een kamer met de zon gans de middag binnen, toen we dit melden werd het niet opgelost omdat we vermoeden dat de airco al langer stuk was. Ook was het zwembad niet beschikbaar omdat er een behandeling is opgestart, nogmaals een domper.

Le séjour a été un peu gâché quand la réceptionniste nous a dit qu’il n’était pas possible de dîner à l’hôtel et qu’elle ne s’est pas occupée de nous pour trouver un bon restaurant en dehors, ou même trouver une solution. Elle n’a pas été très agréable et c’est dommage dans ce type d’établissement

This can’t be considered a 4 star hotel. Obviously I booked a standard room so I can’t expect the best of the best but my room had no real window, was tucked under the stairs outside next to the service room so was noisy in the morning with people in and out to take the cleaning g stuff. The room lacked comfort (coffee/tea) and small things made no sense (plastic water glass really? In 2026?). Floor was not cleaned properly so my feet was dirty after 2 mins of walking. Venus is great, lots of history if you look on Wikipedia but they didn’t make an effort to have explanations displayed in the castle or in the room. History should be preserved and shared. Lastly, breakfast was poor… processed food, out of the freezer. Including the pastries and the cakes….In a region with incredible access to delicious product… with bakeries 5 mins drive…that’s a shame.

El recepcionista de la noche no era muy amable y poco disponible. Nos hubiera gustado tomar una copa en el salón e incluso usar la chimenea, pero no le le veía por la labor. Hacía ver como si estuviera muy ocupado y no levantaba la vista del ordenador y eso que estuvimos rondando por allí. En ningún momento nos preguntó si queríamos algo. La habitación nos pareció muy pequeña para un hotel de esa categoría.

Room on the smaller size though forethought on its decoration and outlook, being a room with a view with chairs to enjoy it. On our first night we were unable to access the internet which was frustrating as it lost us time collating video and photos from previous days. We didn’t’ expect an issue at this hotel at premium prices. This was resolved for our second night.

Das Restaurant ist eigentlich sehr schön eingerichtet aber leider hallt es dort sehr.
