Wir haben einen Abend dort im Restaurant zu Abend gegessen und können das jedem empfehlen - die Gnocchi mit Entenragout waren die besten Gnocchis, die wir je gegessen haben.

Dinner in the evening was really good, on the terrace buzzing with with other diners and the food was really good, simple local fayre done well! Breakfast was simple but great. Parking is really handy if you are in a car and it's only a short drive to Perugia with easy access to a carpark outside the city wall only a short walk from escalators that takes you right up to the main historical, restaurant and shopping area.

La colazione è generosa e molto variegata, inoltre i prodotti che vengono utilizzati sono di qualità e stagionali. Molto belle e utili le due aree comuni, un salottino e un piccola zona ristoro (anche queste curate e pulitissime).

Reviewed Jun 27, 2026Wir waren rundum zufrieden. Mit einer Übernachtung, wir waren auf der Durchreise von Kampanien kommend, war unser Aufenthalt schlichtweg zu kurz. Als Highlight empfanden wir das ausgezeichnete Restaurant, sowie das excellente Frühstück mit selbst hergestellten Marmeladen, Brot und Kuchen. Die Kommunikation klappt wunderbar auf Englisch, und sogar in perfektem Deutsch, welches Sylvia, wie sie uns erzählte in ihrem "1. Leben" studiert hat. Das Zentrum von Perugia selbst ist in gut 10 Minuten mit dem Taxi zu erreichen. Wir werden auf alle Fälle für einen längeren Aufenthalt wiederkommen um Perugia und Umgebung kennen zu lernen.

Reviewed Jun 9, 2026Ci ha fatto molto piacere alloggiare alla Locanda Stella, la camera molto spaziosa, arredata con gusto ed eleganza, pulita e dotata di tutto quello che serve. Abbiamo apprezzato anche i due spazi comuni che vengono messi a disposizione: una piccola biblioteca e una zona ristoro/relax dove è possibile farsi un caffè o una tisana o semplicemente reperire dell'acqua per la camera (alcune cose naturalmente sono costi extra). La colazione è abbondante ma soprattutto molto buona e ricca di prodotti locali che l'hanno resa ancora più buona! Infine la disponibilità e la gentilezza dello staff, hanno soddisfatto tutte le nostre richieste e sono stati davvero disponibili e gentili. Posizione molto comoda per visitare Perugia e tutti i paesi limitrofi. Un posto nel quale torneremo volentieri alla prossima occasione.

Man muss wissen, dasd man nicht im Zentrum von Perugia ist. Das weiss man aber davor. Das Restaurant macht es nicht erforderlich, zum Essen in die City zu gehen. Es lohnt sich, vor Ort zu bleiben.

Un luogo davvero accogliente, la nostra stanza arredata con gusto dotata di letti comodi, bagno spazioso, ottima pulizia; c'è anche un locale comune in cui prepararsi bevande calde. Le persone della struttura gentilissime ci hanno accolto con simpatia mettendoci subito a nostro agio. Colazione ottima con tutto quello che si può desiderare. Noi abbiamo provato anche il loro ristorante e consigliamo caldamente l'esperienza: abbiamo mangiato e bevuto deliziosamente. Rapporto qualità - prezzo eccellente.

Il ristorante ottimo con un super attento servizio, menù perfetto per materie prime e preparazione. Carta dei vini molto varia ma attenta a produttori in linea con la filosofia slow della gestione. Właściciele Sylwia i Arek są bardzo serdeczni. Polecam szczególnie gościom z Polski bo Arek i jego syn mówią też po polsku - czyli żadnych problemów komunikacyjnych.

Wanneer we ‘s ochtends uit het raam kijken hadden we een fantastisch uitzicht op Perugia. En je kunt er in het restaurant heerlijk eten. Niet alleen met gasten maar het restaurant wordt ook druk bezocht door de locals.

Reviewed May 17, 2026Die Locanda Stella ist absolut bezaubernd. In jeder Ecke ist die Philosophie und das liebevolle Konzept von Silvia und Arek zu finden. Die originell eingerichteten Räume, das tolle Frühstück (mit selbst hergestellten Marmeladen, Brot und Kuchen), das ausgezeichnete Slowfood Restaurant und vor allem die besonderen Gastgeber Silvia und Arek. Es wird mühelos zwischen italienisch, englisch und deutsch gewechselt. Wir haben uns 5 Tage sehr wohl gefühlt und können die Locanda nur empfehlen!

I was at the journalism festival in Perugia and wanted to be slightly away from the chaos. Near enough to be easy but far enough to be in the countryside and in peace.

Reviewed Apr 12, 2026An amazing experience with thoughtful arrangements and decor. Every detail has been thought of. Room was super clean, they come to clean your room everyday. Hairdryer was super helpful and the proper kind. Even the liquid soap they use is bio with cypress that is delicate for both body and hair, and smells super nice. They also have two communal spaces to relax, read (and they have some great book collection), have coffee or tea, space to work or just hang out. You could also enjoy the outside view with the sunrise and sunset, and view of Perugia city with all the nature surrounding it. Breakfast was amazing! All are homemade even the pastries and they use local ingredients. We also had dinner twice. A must order steak and let them choose how to cook it. That is the first time I've tasted a really delicious Fiorentina steak! Even my Italian husband exclaimed that was the best he tasted in all his life. I think you need to book because they get super busy. Many local people go there. It's easy to go to the center, just make sure you have a car. Parking was also easy and safe. The best part, the owner is super friendly. Speaks both Italian and English. She greets you with a happy face everyday, gives local tips and great advice. I could go on talking about how amazing this place is! Love everything!

Abbiamo avuto la possibilità anche di cenare in locanda, esperienza che consiglio. Silvia è gentile e disponibile e ci ha dato utili consigli su come proseguire il nostro viaggio.

Non c’era nulla che non andasse, anche se avrei preferito avere un televisore in camera.
