Catalonia Avinyo

Great place , great staff, perfect position and ine guy called Badir who was great person and helped us alot

Great location

I loved everything about it - the only thing I can suggest is for the price of the hotel perhaps breakfast should be included

the quality of the food is truly high, also, one of the very few hotels that put fresh juice!

Great location, good price and nice rooms!

All good

Amazing location, super friendly staff and very comfortable room. Loved the cafe in the lobby, very friendly staff there too!

The rooftop pool is quite small and there’s no ambiance. Some music or perhaps a bar would be so lovely!

amazing location in the gothic quarter. love that this place has a gym, it's basic but nice to have. the pool and rooftop patio are awesome. great space and never found that it was crowded. didn't purchase the breakfast but seemed plentiful. beds could have been a bit softer but I think that's fairly standard across Europe! very friendly and helpful staff. we asked to switch rooms one day and left our luggage in their storage while our new room was being cleaned, and when we returned they had valeted our luggage to our room for us. nice touch

just a softer bed

Perfect Stay in Gothic Quarter . Amazing hotel. Close to everything. Clean and very comfortable

Very good location

Only 1 bottle of water for the whole stay if you book with booking.com

I loved how clean it was. Our room was perfect, and in such a walkable area to many good places. The pool was a perfect touch.

Zentrale Lage , nahe zur Metro , Meer, Rambla . später Check out 12:00 super !

when it rains, the water will accumulate in front of the hotel

Amazing

Nothing everything was perfect

La atención es excelente

Me gustó todo

Lovely big room on 6th floor brilliant shower very clean. Staff very helpful with directions about the area. Even contacted get your guide for us about a booking we made. Close to restaurants etc. We didn’t take their restaurant breakfast but they have a cafe in the lobby area which was very good for breakfast options.

Nothing

Great location

Small pool for dipping only

Location

Good location & price

When people spoke loud outside of our room, we were hearing and was noisy.

Great location right in the middle of the Gothic Quarter. Very clean and well maintained, new facilities, comfortable beds, safety box/locker provided which was great, professional and friendly staff, great aircon. Had a gym and rooftop pool with good views we were told, but didn’t have time to check it out. Overall really enjoyed our stay. Not much of a view from our rooms but that was fine as most of the time was spent exploring! The cafe inside the hotel lobby also has decent coffee (not the absolute best maybe, but decent for Barcelona?)

Room cleanliness and size was good. Location was good. Staff were excellent.

Continental breakfast should be included. Room was a bit noisy. Booked three rooms, one was on a different floor. would have preferred they were on the same floor

I was greeted by a friendly member of staff and he explained everything I needed to know. The room was nice, clean and comfortable. There was a roof pool and breakfast in the morning.

The view from the window was onto adjacent walls so it provided no sunlight. The shower was fine but I thought that I was going to accidentally knock the shower head holder off the wall.

Très bien tout

Small rooms

Breakfast buffet was huge, fresh, and delicious!

Hard to get a taxi there. I was dropped nearby. The staff said they could call one that would get right to them but a short walk got me to a pickup which cut my ride in half.

Near to center

Ok

Posizione molto vicina alla Rambla, comodissima! Stanza e bagno abbastanza spaziosi Servizi ottimi, piscina e palestra! Colazione eccellente, si trova di tutto!

Lovely staff, very clean, superb location, very good breakfast, well equipped gym, great rooftop deck and pool. Appreciated the fridge in the room and front desk supplied a kettle upon request.

Our room was facing an inner courtyard/hallway which didn’t get a lot of light, but this fine as we were out a lot. We just had to remember to keep the curtains closed when we were changing as you could see into the room from the hallway! Not a big deal, very minor issue.

Super Lage, Preis Leistung perfekt. Super nettes Personal.

Great location, helpful staff. Rooms were clean and comfortable and the rooftop was beautiful

Nothing at all

Ideally located, lovely clean and modern hotel with great facilities … roof top pool and lovely breakfast choices!

Can’t think of anything that stood out as we were happy with everything.

Great location in the heart of the Gothic Quarter with great access to the areas sights. Bars and restaurants all in close vicinity. The rooms were well maintained and loved the upgrade to a California king room! Great touch.

Would suggest if looking to book, ask for a room away from the street side. No real soundproofing, so had all the noise from passersby into the early hours of the morning. That would be our only dislike. The rest of the amenities were amazing.

Posizione

Pulizia da migliorare leggermente

Szuper szállás, ajánlom mindenkinek. Nagyon jó elhelyezkedés, tiszta, jól felszerelt, szép állapotú, jó méretű szoba, kedves személyzet. Közel van a metró, amivel minden elérhető. Szemben vagy egy jó szupermarket.

I had an amazing stay at Catalonia Avinyó and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Barcelona. A special mention goes to Sergio, who was absolutely fantastic throughout my stay. He was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. His recommendations for places to visit, eat, and explore really enhanced my trip and helped me make the most of my time in the city. The hotel's location is another huge advantage. It's perfectly situated just off La Rambla, making it easy to walk to many of Barcelona's main attractions, restaurants, shops, and the Gothic Quarter, while still being tucked away enough to avoid the noise and crowds. The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, with everything I needed for a great stay. Combined with the excellent service and unbeatable location, it made for a memorable visit. Thank you to Sergio and the whole team at Catalonia Avinyó. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again on my next trip to Barcelona!

Posizione, camere, accoglienza

Clean, great location, safe, lovely staff …. Mattheus on reception was so helpful and went over and above to help us

The pool area was great, location was very convenient, the room was very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable!! The staff was also extremely nice and accomodating.

Overall feel was great. For a 3 star well exceeded our expectations

Bigger pool.

Colazione ottima

Perfect location within short walking distance to all of Barcelona's main sites, felt safe, and helpful staff

N/A

Location was great. Great customer service and hotel very clean. Lovely coffee bar at entrance.

Nothing really it was a great wee hotel. Room was very small but compact and had everything we needed. If you are getting dropped off or picked up you need to walk up to the main road to meet your car.

Posizione ottima

Superb hotel in an amazing location in the old town. Arrived quite late and given a free upgrade to a fantastic room. Staff were very good. Better than the two other hotels we stayed in within Barcelona.
