We booked a suite which turned out to be 2 rooms joined together so lots of space. Parked our motorbikes in the underground parking. Well situated for exploring Piacenza. Quiet and comfortable.

The rooftop restaurant was closed for renovation but they told us that when we booked. It must have a lovely view when it's open.

The location, the terrace, the room was very nice and clean

They confirmed a king bed and we got two twins I did not complain because we spent only one night. The property was fully booked for the next 4 days

I seriously wonder how this place manages to hold onto its 4-star rating. The rooms are tastelessly decorated—but I guess that’s subjective. What isn't subjective is the completely outdated bathroom. You get a bathtub and a single, cheap all-in-one soap. No shampoo, zero conditioner. To make matters worse, they only provide cheap paper cups for the bathroom and hot drinks. Speaking of coffee: it’s just embarrassing instant Nescafé. Even basic 3-star hotels have capsule machines these days. The absolute highlight of absurdity, however, is their umbrella policy. The first 48 hours are free, and then you actually have to pay to use them. As if anyone would willingly walk around giving this hotel free advertising with their branded umbrella. This was a bottom-tier experience. Save your money. Absolutely not recommended.

The suite was very large, elegant and equipped with a clean and well-sized bathroom. The airco was a bit noisy, but we spent a good night!

Precise maneuvering in the parking is crucial if travelling with an SUV - curves to get out are really tight. Breakfast could offer more choices.

Everything was great here. The entire experience blended so well with my visit to Piacenza, and the city itself. Piacenza is a terrific town. If I get a chance to return, Grande Albergo is the first place I would consider. It has the charm and elegance of a small town luxury hotel from the 1970s that keeps improving and updating but stays true to it's charming mid-century feel. Great location too.

This hotel is right in the historic centre and close to all the must-see sites, restaurants and Piacenza's excellent shopping streets. Raffaella was quick to give useful advice. Air-con coped well with very hot weather.

A four-star hotel should provide decent-sized ceramic cups for tea and coffee not small disposable ones.

Le personnel du restaurant était parfait, attentionné, aimable, compétent et discret. La chambre était assez grande et très bien équipée, la climatisation fonctionnait et la salle de bain était confortable.

L'hôtel n'a pas jugé bon de préciser que le spa n'était pas en fonction - son site vantait cet équipement de premier ordre et c'était la raison pour laquelle nous avons choisi cet hôtel. Lorsque j'ai demandé l'accès au spa, j'ai eu droit à une information laconique et évidemment à aucun geste commercial - par exemple la gratuité du garage pour une, voire deux nuits. Réceptionniste inexpressif et quasi-mutique. Le contraire de son collègue qui m'a fait la leçon quand j'ai noté que le Wi-Fi ne fonctionnait pas. Il m'a pris de haut et conseillé de prendre soin de mes appareils.. avant de "faire le reset" du Wi-Fi qui du coup a fonctionné parfaitement. Idem lorsque je me suis enquis de l'itinéraire pour éviter une amende dans le secteur très strictement limité du centre ville: au lieu d'un avis préalable avec la confirmation de la réservation, une leçon moralisante sur l'usage éclairé du GPS. L'art de la réception échappe complètement à l'Albergo, tout GRANDE qu'il se prétend.

Room was extremely clean and linens changed daily! The breakfast and dinner was amazing! Service excellent.

Our car was large and the garage is not made for that size vehicle, we struggled for 30 min to get it out of the box, then decided to park on the street ( blue lines only)

Albergo molto accogliente situato vicino a Piazza Cavalli e Palazzo Farnese. La camera era ampia e luminosa. La colazione servita nella terrazza offre un'ampia varietà di prodotti dolci e salati e una meravigliosa veduta della città. Lo staff è molto cortese e disponibile.

L' ho trovata un po' troppo cara , almeno per me che appena sveglia, per abitudine, mi basta il mio cappuccino e un cornetto...

Oltre alla colazione, anche il parcheggio non mi è sembrato a buon mercato. Se dovessi tornare a Piacenza credo che cercherò un'altra opportunità.

Garageneinfahrt sehr Eng und Abstellplätze nur mit viel Geschick benutzbar. Sonntagabend ist das Restaurant geschlossen. Frühstück ist üppig jedoch Brötchen und Früchte nicht ganz frisch.

La camera è molto bella e pulita, il bagno comodo. Sono stata varie volte in questo hotel, stavolta ho avuto una camera piu' silenziosa perché affacciata sul lato opposto all'ingresso, quindi ancora meglio. La colazione è buona, la terrazza panoramica molto bella.

Si potrebbe aggiungere qualche opzione in piu' alla colazione, soprattutto per gli ospiti internazionali. Il parcheggio è molto molto stretto, forse si potrebbe lasciare sempre libero quello di fronte alla rampa di ingresso per usarlo per fare manovra. O magari aggiungere dei segnali tipo semaforo per sapere se qualcuno sta uscendo, in modo da non impegnare l'ingresso e dover poi fare molte manovre per lasciar passare.

Colazione spettacolare con tanto assortimento dolce/salato e bere. Suite grande con tanti confort. Pozione Albergo ottima situato in centro. Personale molto professionale e disponibile per ogni esigenza e richiesta.

Colazione poche brioche. Camera situata al 6 piano, purtroppo alle 7 del mattino si è sentito lo strisciare dei tavoli spostati nel locale colazione situato al 7 piano sopra la ns camera. Garage piccolo e stretto per entrare con auto grandi.

Parcheggio adibito per scaricare era occupato stabilmente da un auto / ho dovuto scaricare le valige in strada mentre auto mi suonavano per fare velocemente / quando ho chiesto come mai c’è un suv nello spazio per scaricare la risposta è stata - non sappiamo neppure di quale ospite è la macchina ! Poco controllo direi

Gehobenes Hotel mit allem Komfort. Frühstück sehr gut im 7. Stock. Fahrräder konnten kostenlos in der Tiefgarage abgestellt werden.

Wenig bis gar nichts , dies ist aber sicher zusätzlich der äußerst schmutzigen , mit an allen Ecken sitzenden Ausländern ( vor allem aus Pakistan) geschuldet …

Die Parkgarage ist für einen Audi A5 nicht geeignet.. Es wird zuwenig darauf hingewiesen.. es ist wirklich kaum befahrbar !!!!!! Beim Check in wird explizit auf die „ schöne Dachterrasse „ hingewiesen… die im vergleich zu vielen anderen die wir kennen sehr einfach ist .. wir wollten am Abend einen Drink nehmen .. wir wurden komplett ignoriert, bzw. dann verwiesen da angeblich alles reserviert.. war aber sehr viel frei .. wirklich letztklassiges Personal!!! Im Zimmer ober uns war ein extremer Lärmpegel , man hört alles !!! Duschvorhang und schmutzige Bettwäsche waren das Tüpfelchen!! Beim Frühstück gibt es Kaffee nur im Glas ! Gemüse in der Wärmebox eiskalt !!! Also um den Preis haben wir schon viel viel mehr bekommen ! Wir reisen sehr viel , aber dieses Hotel bzw. diese Stadt ist nicht empfehlenswert!! Wir sind sehr enttäuscht!

It was hard to park in the beginning due to the Zona Limitada, but the front desk helped us out, although did not offer a room in the garage although we had reserved it (the man said it was "difficult" to park there). Despite this, the room was very nice, the breakfast excellent with a great view. I would stay there again, now that I know where to park!

Centrale e confortevole

Struttura molto bella e ben tenuta, personale gentile. Bella la posizione nel centro storico, l'immagine dell'hotel è in linea con la sua collocazione. Ottima la colazione, di qualità e bene assortita, nella sala panoramica al settimo piano, purtroppo per il freddo non si poteva fare nella terrazza all'aperto.

Abbiamo avuto difficoltà a raggiungere l'albergo in auto, in particolare il garage, in quanto è in zona ZTL (per la quale forniscono l'autorizzazione) ma circondato anche da zone pedonali vietate e monitorate da telecamere.

Tutto bene stanza suite molto bella e spaziosa con ottimo spazio armadio e bagno ampio, letto comodissimo. Personale gentile e cordiale alla reception.

Frigo bar troppo vuoto solo con acqua in lattina, divano in pelle poco comodo con sedute che scivolano, zanzare in camera e consiglio di gestire bene gli eventi che si svolgono nel piano attico così da non arrecare disturbo agli ospiti.

Die Zufahrt war etwas schwierig. Vielleicht könnte per E-Mail ein Plan verschickt werden, auf dem die Zufahrt genau beschrieben wird.

Sehr gutes Hotel an zentraler Lage. Sehr freundliches Personal, vor allem im Rest. auf dem Dach.

Albergo a 4 stelle tutti meritati.... La struttura in posizione centrale...molto accogliente.... personale super gentile e soprattutto molto competente.... Molto bello la sala di ristorazione al settimo piano....e colazione di vario genere... Grazie e sicuramente c rivedremo....
