La résidence est magnifique : aussi bien l’extérieur que la chambre. C’est vraiment dépaysant car c’est entouré d’arbres et de plantes. L’atmosphère est paisible. La piscine est un véritable atout et le personnel est charmant.

Notre chambre était le studio, qui est situé juste à côté de la salle du petit déjeuner, donc c’était assez bruyant tôt le matin.

This venue was exceptional. The layout of the accomodation is such that it feels very private, even though there are many rooms, thanks to the winding paths and plentiful plants. The building and foliage is absolutely beautiful, and the pool was wonderful (if a bit cold, which I liked because it meant very few other people used it). I would absolutely stay here again in a heartbeat. The actual living quarters were clean, comfortable, welcoming and cleaned every day. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, even giving us local recommendations and helping us book restaurants or taxis. Truly an outstanding experience.

Estuvimos alojados en la "habitación romántica". Una de esas experiencias que pocas veces en tu vida vas a disfrutar. Con una cama redonda de 2m de diámetro y muy bien decorada. Desayuno muy bueno, servido en la terraza de tu habitación si así lo deseas. El jardín del hotel es muy bonito, repleto de naturaleza. Nos encantó el detalle de recibirnos con una botella de vino blanco y una tabla de embutidos.

Por poner algo, vendría bien renovar alguna de las hamacas de la piscina. Pero es un problema mínimo. Aunque no tiene parking, se puede aparcar sin ningún problema en las inmediaciones; hay sitio de sobra incluso en temporada alta. La famosa playa de Camilo está cerrada este verano por deterioro de los accesos pero eso no tiene nada que ver con el hotel.

It is a very unique property, tranquil and quiet and has a beautiful garden.

because we were only staying for one night, it would have been nice to be able to utilise the little kitchen with a Hotel supply of Little tea or coffee sachets and a little jug of fresh milk in the fridge.

Absolutely beautiful. It genuinely felt like a little piece of paradise. The whole place is so peaceful, calm and tranquil, with gorgeous gardens and a lovely pool area. It never felt like a big impersonal hotel – it felt special, relaxed and incredibly welcoming. The staff were absolutely fantastic. Everyone we met was friendly, warm and genuinely helpful, and nothing ever felt like too much trouble. Summer on reception was particularly lovely, but honestly the whole team contributed to making our stay feel so special. There is clearly a real pride in the place and it shows. We loved it so much that I was already asking about coming back next year before we had even left. I genuinely didn’t want to go home!

Relaxed, great pool, spacious, good breakfast

Very uncomfortable bed, needs replacing. Long curtains were annoying and were always moving them and looked old and tatty. Please get new lighter deck chairs. Kettle didn't have plug near fridge so had to be moved around all the time. Lights have scotch marks on them which made us feel unsafe. Give guests the safe key and milk on arrival. We expected basic shampoo, water etc to be in the room. Tall mirror is in an awkward spot to get to bathroom at night. Had to keep moving it.

The gardens were beautifully presented and well kept. There was a generously sized pool with sun loungers, tables and chairs. The apartment was spacious and came equipped with all lots of extra amenities such as fridge/freezer, hobs, toaster, kettle, dining area, living area, wardrobe space etc. The staff were also extremely helpful.

In some areas of our apartment the WiFi didn’t reach.

The staff was very attentive and the property was very beautiful. Also walking distance to the beach and the town center. Breakfast was so nice! We felt spoiled and truly relaxed in this goergus villa. Highly recommend it!

Das Frühstück war lecker, jedoch könnte das Gebäck frisch sein, und nicht aufgebacken werden Kaffee wird zwischendurch angeboten, wenn man darum fragt hat man den Eindruck, dass es nicht so erwünscht ist. Sie würden es machen, dauert aber 20 minuten Die Liegen am Pool sind auch zum reparieren

Das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet, sehr nette junge Dame hat es uns serviert, sehr freundlich und immer hilfsbereit. Auch die Restaurants hat sie uns für den Abend gebucht, wir waren dort sehr zufrieden.

Die Putzfrau hat etwas gemotzt, den Bettüberwurf gar nicht auf dem Bett geordnet sondern aufs Sofa drauf geschmiessen

Uma Casa à Beira Sol felt like discovering a little oasis tucked away from the world. From the moment I arrived, I was completely charmed by how romantic, peaceful, and private it felt. There’s such a warm, homey atmosphere that it never felt like I was simply staying at a hotel, it felt like I had found a beautiful little home away from home. Every corner of the property is picturesque, with lush greenery, flowers, beautiful stone details, and the most charming little spaces to sit and relax. The garden and pool area felt especially magical, like a secret sanctuary where you could truly slow down and enjoy your surroundings. What I loved most was the intimacy of the place. It felt peaceful and personal rather than busy or impersonal, which made the whole stay feel incredibly special and romantic. And honestly, the best compliment I can give is that when I left, I missed it. I found myself thinking about the garden, the peaceful atmosphere, and all those beautiful little corners. Uma Casa à Beira Sol is the kind of place that stays with you long after you’ve gone. I would absolutely love to return.

Honestly, there wasn’t much I didn’t like. If anything, I wish I could have stayed longer. The property is so peaceful and charming that leaving was the hardest part. Some of the rooms and details have a lovely, rustic character, so if you’re looking for something very modern and polished, this may not be for you. But for me, that character was part of the charm :)

The hotel is a little bit out of the town so we had to walk or get an Uber (as most days it was incredibly hot!) This wasn't a huge issue for us but if you want to be in the middle of things then it's not the hotel for you.

Beautiful property with fabulous location - only short was from Praia Dona Ana. Yummy breakfast with great coffee!

Only small downside is loud live music late into the night from nearbye bar/club (bring ear plugs!)

Eine wirklich wunderschöne Unterkunft. Super nettes, zuvorkommendes Personal. Das Frühstück frisch für einen zubereitet und wirklich sehr lecker und schön gemacht. Wir wurden mit kleinen Tapas und einer Weinflasche empfangen und haben direkt Tipps für das Erkunden der Stadt bekommen. Einen Sonnenschirm kann man sich kostenlos ausleihen und Strandhandtücher für einen kleinen Aufpreis:) Insgesamt eine sehr schöne Unterkunft- gerne wieder!

Great staff, beautiful accommodation which was well maintained. Sitting by the pool with trickling waterfalls was perfect for relaxing. Good sized room that was well appointed. Location was great for evening strolls down Ponta da Piedada, and not too far into Lagos old town.

The wind caused a howling sound from a neighbouring property stairwell… we took earplugs so wasn’t an issue

Excellent location and very stunning

The property is sooo beautiful and dreamy. I would love to have a garden like this. There are so many cute seating areas. The staff is exceptionnel. Very nice and appeared for cleaning only when we had left the room. The location was great - 5 min walk from the beach. Parking was easy. We loved it!

Dieses Hotel ist in der Stadt eine Perle mit wunderschönen Garten und Pool. Das Frühstück im freien war auch der Hammer, alles war so liebevoll dekoriert.

Sehr hellhörig Bad offen, Toilette war wie ein Einbauschrank 1 Meter vom Bett.

We stayed here 6 days and five nights. This small boutique type hotel with only 15 units on the property exceeded our expectations in every way. The hotel staff, including Summer and Anais were so warm and kind, going out of their way to make sure we became familiar with the grounds, the Lagos area, town and beaches. The property itself is a calming garden oasis, surrounded by greenery, plants, flowers, grassy areas and a gorgeous pool, and each room was tastefully decorated and comfortable. About a 20 minute walk to central Old Lagos and 7 minutes to Praia Dona Ana beach, yet secluded from it all to provide that retreat feeling. Absolutely a wonderful stay and experience. If you have breakfast included in your stay, it is filled with tasteful options and the staff serves it is the small dining area, outside in the beautiful gardens, or even on a tray you can take to your room or patio.

Nothing, except through no responsibility of the property, many of the local beaches were overrun with algae on the sands and in the water. Unfortunate, but we still found some areas along the coast elsewhere with clean and gorgeous waters.

Wir haben uns von der ersten Minute an sehr wohl gefühlt in der Unterkunft. Das Personal ist unglaublich freundlich. Besonders die jungen Damen beim Frühstück strahlen so viel Herzlichkeit und Freude aus! Das Frühstück wird liebevoll vorbereitet und schmeckt! Danke dafür! Die Anlage ist liebevoll und gepflegt: es blüht überall, kleine Dekodetails dort und da....unser Doppelzimmer im ersten Stock war total gemütlich und sehr besonders eingerichtet und dekoriert mit Vorhängen, Polster....alles ist Blitzsauber. Wir würden die Unterkunft sofort wieder buchen!

The grounds were really well landscaped and decorated. Our room was well appointed. Great breakfast. Easy walk into downtown Lagos or out to the lighthouse. Summer really went out of her way to make us feel welcome.

Liebe zum Detail, vor allem die gesamte Gartenanlage. Das Frühstück wird auf Wunsch auf der Terrasse beim Zimmer aufgetischt, mit Tischdecke 😉 Das Personal allgemein sehr freundlich, die Rezeptionistin war sehr hilfreich, einfach top.

Das Bett / Matratze war etwas unpassend für unser empfinden, zu hart. Dies ist aber individuell zu sehen.

The breakfast was amazing every morning, a perfect way to start the day. The property doesn’t have many rooms so it is never busy around the pool etc. The staff are always very accommodating, and gave great food and activity recommendations. Definitely the nicest accommodation I’ve stayed in!

Odalar cok kucuk. Etrafta agaclar ve cicekler var o yuzden cok fazla bocek ve sinek var. Ozellikle sivrisinek cok fazlaydi. Dolayisiyla bocekleri sevmiyorsaniz buyuk sorun.

Sehr gepflegte Anlage mit einem schönen Ausblick

Das Zimmer war toll. Ein super bequemes Bett mit Überlänge! Ein kleiner Balkon. Das Bad ist klein, es gibt jedoch zwei Waschbecken, was wir mit zwei Personen als sehr komfortabel empfunden haben. Das Personal ist überaus freundlich und das Frühstück entzückend. Es wird liebevoll im Garten individuell vorbereitet. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder Buchen. Die Lage zum Strand und zum hölzernen Rundweg entlang der Klippen ist ideal, zur Altstadt läuft man 15 Minuten.

Lediglich die Aussicht wird durch einen alten, maroden Hotelklotz verunschönt - wir konnten ihn allerdings bald ausblenden und haben an ihm vorbei aufs Meer geschaut.

Wir waren als Paar mit Mietwage in Portugal unterwegs Schönstes Hotel, etwas ausserhalb gelegen, ca. 15-20 Minuten bis zum historischen Zentrum, wunderbare Oase im trubeligen Lagos, toller Garten mit herrlicher Bepflanzung. Wir hatten die Classic Suite im Erdgeschoss mit eigener Terrasse und Sitzplatz, komplette Ausstattung mit der Möglichkeit sich selbst ein abendliches Vesper zuzubereiten. Super freundlicher Empfang, kleine Brotzeit mit Köstlichkeiten aus der Region mit einer Flasche Wein, so fühlt man sich gleich gut aufgenommen. Tolles Frühstück auf Wunsch gerne auch im Freien serviert. In der Nähe gibt es genügend Parkplätze auf der Straße. Alles sehr sauber und gepflegt. Wir kommen unbedingt wieder.

Trotz der umliegenden Hochhäuser eine kleine Oase, sehr schön angelegt. Supernette Rezeption und beeindruckendes Frühstück. Wirklich toll!

Außergewöhnliches kleines Hotel mit wunderschöner Gartenanlage. Unser Zimmer (Studio) war im Erdgeschoss. Es war einfach aber sehr einzigartig und schön eingerichtet. Ruhige Lage nur ein paar Minuten vom Strand entfernt. Die Altstadt sehr leicht nach kurzem Spaziergang zu Fuß zu erreichen.

The Tv is old and doesn't support any apps like Netflix or Disney+. This would have been nice to entertain my daughter on occasion.

Завтрак нужно заказывать заранее, мы не знали, так что в это утро остались голодными и уехали из отеля, так и не позавтракав.

Zentrale, absolut ruhige Lage. Lagos, die Strände und die sehenswerten Felsen und Höhlen sind fußläufig schnell erreichbar. Originell und wunderschön gestaltetes Gebäude bzw. gestalteter Garten (man könnte ihn als grüne Oase bezeichnen) mit schönem Swimmingpool. Personal ist sehr kompetent und hilfsbereit.

Die Matratzen war nicht so bequem. Das Frühstück (dass wir nur einmal in Anspruch genommen haben) ist sehr gut, aber mit 18 € pro Person relativ teuer.

Location …we could walk to the ocean or to the historic district the gardens were amazing as was the breakfast. Anise and her colleague were very welcoming.

Property and room were unique (or some might say quaint). It was reasonably quiet, well ventilated and brightly lit. As the weather was cool and damp we did not use the pool although it looked inviting. We did sit out for one day on the balcony when the sun shone - nice view. Walked to the old town and beach/boardwalks - all easy walking distances. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Kitchen and counter area were a bit small and could have been slightly better equipped. The WIFI was a bit finicky. If you are driving, there is no parking on site, it was available on the street but not always easy to find.

The accommodation features an exceptionally beautiful garden, filled with a wide variety of flowers and trees. Each room has its own small terrace overlooking the garden, as well as access to a thoughtfully designed shared area for all guests. Breakfast is a highlight—served either in the garden or right in front of your room. It’s not only delicious but also beautifully presented, offering small portions of many different items, with the option to request refills for anything you enjoy.

Pool unheated and a little small to swim in. Bathrooms had charm but a little cramped with not much surface space to put things on. Bed a bit hard and low down. Limited storage though fine for short stay. WiFi signal didn't reach bedroom.

Wir hatten das mit viel Liebe eingerichtete Romantik Zimmer und das Frühstück wurde sogar auf die dazugehörige Terrasse gebracht. Das Frühstück war sehr ausgewogen und absolut köstlich. Die ganze Anlage ist sehr schön hergerichtet, mit vielen Pflanzen und gemütlichen Sitzgelegenheiten.

Studio in the middle of a beautiful garden. An oasis in the middle of a busy town. Very nice pool and outstanding staff. We will come back.
