We stayed on the fifth floor in room 504. The balcony, overlooking the road that led to the beach and the beautiful ocean, accommodated the living room and both bedrooms. The views were outstanding!!!! The team that worked there was lovely. Everyone was very responsive when I reached out to them. The apartment is fully furnished with linens and beach/pool towels. The apartment also had an American coffee maker and all the kitchen utensils you could need including a dishwasher, fridge, and dish towels. There was toilet paper but no paper towels for kitchen. The beach gets PACKED during the day so get there early or go later in the day and skip the crowds. The other two properties have better pools.

The property is situated right next to an abandoned building, which is odd but did not impact our stay as it was not visible from our apartment (504). The pool is small but perfect to take a quick dip or have the kids play. There’s a Jacuzzi on site, but I was told it is privately owned and not for guests to use… That was confusing. The parking garage is a maze of tight spaces. You are better off parking your car on the street when there is availability. Parking is free outside but is packed during the day with day visitors. Not to worry, they leave every night and there is plenty of parking even in the height of the season.

The apartment was way bigger than we ever thought it was going to be. We had a 2 bed apartment and the amount of space was fantastic our 16 year old daughter felt like she had her own apartment because of the door separating our bedrooms and bathroom It also had everything you might need for a very comfortable stay

Wundervolle Selbstversorger-Wohnung auf modernstem Standard direkt am schönsten Dona Ana Strand. 2 Zimmer, 2 Bäder, Küche. Ausreichend Handtücher, Duschtücher, Strandtücher. Groß, hell, super sauber, gute Ausstattung, bequeme Betten. Die Nähe zum Strand ist ideal. Das Personal sehr freundlich. Zimmerservice für frische Handtücher & Reinigung bei Bedarf täglich verfügbar.

Etwas hellhörig, man sollte evtl. wenn man sehr empfindlich ist Ohrstöpsel mitnehmen. Ja das alte Hotel Golfinho ist direkt nebenan (ein verfallenes Hotel) aber dafür kann dieses Hotel nichts und das ist Aufgabe der Stadt Lagos. Uns hat das nicht beeinträchtigt. Man kann ja entscheiden wo man hinschauen möchte ;) z.B. gegenüber auf den Strand

Close to the beach and spacious rooms

Long and archaic check in process, front desk person didn’t tell us about room safe key or deposit, then made us come up and down multiple times because they didn’t specify we needed a cash deposit. Then each time they cleaned our room they only left 2 towels when it’s explicitly listed that we are 3 people staying in the room. Had to remind them every day of this, when we showed frustration instead of apologizing they just gave us attitude. The balcony door from the room didn’t shut properly so we heard the strong wind and outside noise all night. Oh and the hotel is located next to an abandoned old building that’s tagged with cartel graffiti. 50/50 odds you get a room with that view versus a room with ocean view

We were extremely disappointed of the building beside us and having to walk by if every day very off putting if we knew that was beside us we would not have paid 2,500.00 but the apartment was lovely just in the wrong location, it was also much h further away from town so it would put off ever going back

Very big apartment. Cleaned everyday. 2 minute walk to the beach or to the minimart. Great board walk. Family of five with teens and we walked everywhere. Twenty minute walk to town or thirty to the west cost beach. The receptionist was extremely helpful, showed us a map and explained where to go.

Small pool, but very quiet. You can walk to the bigger pools on their other property 5 minutes walk away.

The apartment was very spacious, clean, and well equipped. The location is great with beautiful views, easy access to the beach (one of the most popular in Lagos but not overly crowded), a small grocery store, and a couple of restaurants. The staff were friendly, helpful, and generous with their time. Although we liked that the apartment is located outside of the town (it was quiet and free of the crowds), it did require some planning and scheduling transportation to and from activities.

Property was good and close to a very beautiful beach. Ana as the front office was very helpful and simply amazing.

Pipes smell bad. I think this is a portugal thing maybe. Also outdoor pool was small but not clean. But there is unpleasant smell in the apartments.

The room itself was well kept and maintained. It was also spacious and comfortable with a nice view from the large balcony.

The pool appeared to not be being maintained and check-in was in a separate facility about an 8-10 minute walk away. That is never ideal at the end of a long trip.

Beautiful apartment very modern very spacious. Close the most famous beach. To go to the city center just walking is about 15 minutes. The staff is very helpful all the time

Not much of a reviewer. Very Friendly and helpful staff, great location to the beach. Comfy room and access. A bit too much construction taking place in the area but in a sense that kind of made for some additional interest. Should be completed in a year or so but otherwise made for additional interest. Just enough parking onsite.

Mi aggiungo alla lista dei criticoni del parcheggio, angusto se si sa ha un suv, ma se si parcheggia al livello meno 2 le manovre non sono proibitive. Un consiglio che darei è rendere più evidenti gli slot di parcheggio, una mattina per colpa di una macchina parcheggiata fuori dalle strisce abbiamo dovuto fare moltissime manovre per uscire

I loved the location near the beach and walkable to the town. I enjoyed the view. I also found the cleaning well done. The kitchen was well equipped in term of appliances and dishware.

There was no lounger on the balcony, only chairs with a table. There was plenty of room for comfortable seating, and yet there was none. The box spring in room 602 smelled mouldy. I had to keep the air on and open the terrace door as often as possible to make it ok to sleep in. Also, there was no salt, pepper, or oil in the kitchen. Small packets of these, and vinegar would have made my stay better. Coffee would have also been nice (there was a coffee machine in the lobby but I brewed my own in the apartment).

We liked that we were right next to the headland walk and a very protected beach on the windy days. Little out of town but a short, pleasant walk into the city centre. It was nice to have some room to spread out a little. The reception staff were nice and helpful.

Important to note that this building is attached to a run down, half finished, old building/ construction site that has been abandoned. So there are kids running a muck in there and it feels a little unsafe. When we were there the fire department was called because they started a fire in there. The room is old and showing signs that it needs some work. There is no working thermostat or air, so you just leave the windows open. I would hate to think what it would be like in high summer. When we would leave the room we would close the balcony doors and when we came back a few hours later it was so stuffy and a little smelly. The dishwasher didnt work/ turn on and we had to call maintenance. There is no service lift for staff so often we would wait a minute or so for the elevator and it was full with the room service items and we would not fit in the elevator. On the worst day, this happened 3 times in a row and we didnt get into the elevator until the 4th time. Once or twice is fine but it was getting old and happening too often. Im not sure why, but our entire stay there were bugs flying all around the reception? I am from Australia so I can deal with insects, but there was a swarm of them consistently flying around the reception and elevators that you had to walk through to use. I couldn't work out why they were there.

The sea view apartment was exceptional. Good kitchen facilities. Parking facilities was helpful. Very close to nice beaches and view points.

Spacious apartment with fabulous views in a good location, but sparsely decorated and overlooking and beside a huge derelict apartment block. Not a huge problem bit unsighyly. Car spaces were inordinately tight to park a large car in.

Spacious room (we were with 5) - with all facilities, clean. Superb location close to some of the beautiful highlights of the coast-line, and on walking distance from the City.

Very close the beach and wooden board walk path, keep on walking all the way to west you can reach a part of fisherman’s trail. Good location, not far from old town center. Several mini market near by. Efficient service team, very informative and friendly receptionist. Highly recommended

We loved Lagos and enjoyed our stay at Villa Doris Suites. The location and beach view were excellent. All Staff was very friendly, Vanessa at front desk was exceptional hostess, and provided us with all information we needed. Rooms were clean and as described on website. AC worked very well.

first off, you have to collect your keys from another location, then you are sent down the street about a 15 minute walk with luggage in tow. When you get there you realize you are beside an old abandon building full of spray paint and it looks like something out of a zombie apocalypse move. The pool are was dirty and not open which was fine no problem. The power in our room kept turning off anytime we tried to us anything in the kitchen. It took us an hour and a half to bowl water at maximum heat on the stove. I tried to cook break fast using the oven and the power went out. I tried to turn the dishwasher on another time and the power went out. we had 3 times were the power went out from us trying to use a kitchen appliance and only one at a time. When we called the third time down to get the power turned back on the lady on the phone was rude to my husband insisting we were using too much power. My husband explained nothing else was on just the oven and the fridge that was plugged in, in the kitchen and she tried to make us feel like we were the problem. Even when the dishes were on it was late at night everyone was in bed and all the lights were turned off and the power went out. The front desk was rude about it telling us to use less power and then it would be fine. Well I don't know how much less power we could use... The apartment was damp and cold, likely the window seals are broken and in the kitchen there was a cupboard full of mold. The bathroom had rusted metal and was gross. Finally on our last night there we were able to switch rooms but by then it was too late. We had already needed to eat out the previous 2 days because we couldn't use the kitchen. They did not corporate with booking for any sort of refund which was ridiculous. Cleary took their money and ran. House keeping was less then desirable they knocked on the door toss me towels and called it a day. Even when I said we were on our way out and clearly had shoes on to leave.

Amazing apartment. Spacious, excellent location right on the Atlantic, and 20 mins walk into town. All amenities including basement parking. Beware that the hotel is attached to a hotel ruin. So it is a little alarming at first sight, and creepy at night but doest affect the stay. Highly recommended.

Quite echoey as there are no mats or anything on the walls but totally OK.

Fomos logo muito bem atendidos no check-in onde nos explicaram tudo muito bem e ainda nos deram um mapa da zona circundante. Ficámos apenas dois dias mas nunca nos faltou nada. Era um espaço bem grande e acolhedor para duas pessoas e tivemos direito a uma smart tv. A banheira era de hidromassagens e estava funcional e a cozinha tinha todos os utensilios necessários para a preparação de refeições. Ainda tivemos direito a serviço de quartos. Como é epoca baixa o preço estava excelente. Tinhamos um miradouro mesmo ao lado do hotel bem como uma praia. Recomendo imensamente!

Das Apartment war sehr geräumig und perfekt ausgestattet. Alles sehr sauber und gepflegt. Für uns wichtig war der kostenlose Stellplatz im der Tiefgarage und die Nähe zum Strand.

Schade, dass der größte Teil des Gebäudes eine Bauruine ist. Da ist wohl das Geld ausgegangen. Auch gibt es vor Ort kein Frühstück, nur im Parterhotel, das ein Stück entfernt liegt. Das Frühstück dort ist allerdings sehr teuer, wir haben es nicht ausprobiert.

Location great for the beach nearby. Rooms were big and spacious for me and would suit a family. Bedroom two bathrooms ( even though mine had 1.besroom and a sofa bed) Bed really comfortable. Kitchen with full fridge and decent area to work in, dining table balconies made it a large space

Nextvtona derelict building, and a fair walk to the old town and the marina if that's where you plan to be a lot. Taxis and ride share were easy enough to get if needed. The pool was really small and not very inviting by my standards.

Great location and so close to Dona Ana beach. A real find and only a short walk from the old town in Lagos. Room was beach front and we had excellent views from the 5th floor. Would highly recommend it. Only negative was the adjacent hotel which needs some major refurbishment.

The hotel next door is an eyesore but other than that the Villa Doris is somewhere I would have no hesitation in returning to or indeed recommending to friends and family.

Apartment was spotless, loved how clean it was and the. Close to the beach, 20-25minutes away from center, but it was worth it.

Die Unterkunft war sehr großzügig und sauber. Die Betten schön groß.

Actually everything. When you're there make sure you spend a few bucks more for an apartment with ocean view. Incredible and totally worth it. We didn't regret it at all. The hotel is right on the Fisherman's trail. A nice beach is just 5 min. away. A walk to the city takes u a little longer though. But since we came on the Fisherman's trail we didn't mind walking.

Tout était parfait, lit confortable et appartement grand pour 2 personnes. Très près de la plage (2 minutes à pied) et parking disponible en face de l’hôtel! A 15-20 minutes à pied du centre. Ne pas se laisser avoir par le building en décrépitude juste à côté.

Le building avoisinant et devoir se rendre à leur autre hôtel après les heures d’ouvertures (10-18h) pour les Check-in/check-out.

The room was great and had everything needed for a week long stay. The location was amazing with easy access to the beach. The staff were polite and helpful.

The pool at the hotel was always in the shade and not that big. There was another pool but this was located a 5 minute walk away at a different hotel.

Beautiful 2 bedroom suite with an ocean view. Beds were great.full kitchen. Had a little problem with the air but I would definitely stay here again.

The introduction upon arrival was very clear, concise, and told us what we needed to know about the hotel. Room was very spacious and clean. No restaurant and only daytime concierge but wasn't an issue for us as there was dining nearby and in oldtown lagos. Didn't have any concerns we needed to raise with concierge so all worked out fine.
