Loads of stairs which makes it difficult when traveling with suitcases.

The shower had grime, the room had a stench, there weren't enough towels, the lighting was bad, the staff reeked of alcohol. The water pressure was awful. It was a terrible experience We will not go back there!!!

The aircons that are fitted in the rooms are outdated and does not produce cool temperatures. It's more like a cooling fan. Only a few rooms have fridges and that is a must have if one stay there for a few days.

Sleep in a hot room and sweat throughout the night or 2 switch on the noisy aircon be cool but awake due to the noise

Reviewed Mar 8, 2026The food was great, especially the Durban Curry dish which I enjoyed so much. I also liked the mixed grill platter and the breakfast meals served with fresh juice.
Other hotel patrons not being considerate of other hotel guests when part taking in their "Physical Sensation" activities which was quite unsettling. While the mix grill was palatable, I wish to recomment that the Chef could tone down on the to accommodate Vegan patrons also.

The poor customer service from GM ...Jerome. dropped the call when I called to enquire why we paid R210 each for breakfast and there was no buffet. Said he was off ...how is this possible that he is not available to address issues and drops a call. He is a very rude guy ....has no respect for his guest. I was totally shocked.. his staff also seem to dislike this treatment towards them. I will never stay there again if that guy is still the GM... Need to clearly state no buffet breakfast. Staff were excellent. General Manager (GM) set a poor example and spoiled the experience.
