Saj Earth Resort

The property and location is really good and so are the staff. But the appliances in the room were not upto the mark. Our bathroom shower handle was broken. The hot water indicator was not visible. The washroom opens directly to the pantry.

Good supportive staff

Beautifully planned , poorly executed. Not maintained up to standards and I can rate it 3 star only. The toilet was smelly and very old and looked dirty. Food was ok, bar is very nice but rooms for me is thumbs down because of the bathroom and toilet not being up to standard.

Resort with pool was awesome. Sadly the food was not great and the bar did not have stock of many items on the bar menu... Only thing to drink was warm beers as they did not even bother to chill the beers

Love being poolside and the food was firstrate. Robe a nice touch. Asked for more soap towels and toiletpaper didn't get it.

Good place near airport

Staff are very accommodating, attentive, and helpful when you can find them. The hotel is very quiet which also means that there is very little activity throughout the resort. The pool area is wonderful and was the main attraction to this property. The bar was not stocked to be able to make many of the drinks on the menu.

2 hours to check in, the system failed, they called Expedia 3 times. The staff came and knocked on my door twice the same night to ask me for my adress while I was taking a shower. My boyfriend had to walk out half naked to ask for the wifi password because they set it to lower case but the card said all caps. At checkout thwy did not have change when thwy gave us the "security deposit" back and ended up owing us money. Other than the stadd at the reception everyone else was great! Also, cold water in the shower. Not worth the money. I am at a $20 dollar hotel being treated like a queen right now.

Beautiful resort well maintained and service with a smile.

good hotel value for money staff were brilliant. the only negative revie is breakfast is not up to 5star hotel

We had a great 3 day stay. We've stayed in most of the other 5 star hotels in Cochin and I doubt we will ever stay at any of the other hotels again. We've stayed here many times and each time we stay it's a little better. Saj Resort only seems to get better. When we go to Kerela we want it to feel like Kerela most of the resorts we've stayed at could be anywhere in India. Saj Earth is a true Kerela experience while maintaining a high level of comfort. Dont be put off by how close it is to the Airport it is a true resort and you'll never know your close to the Airport. Minor inconveniences, staff needs a bit of training in some areas and the back patio needed a good mopping. But overall it was an excellent time.

It was a great experience and a memorable stay at this resort, food was awesome and all other facilities were very good. Thanks to all Hotell Staff.

Fantastically designed hotel, ideal for family or a conference. Really nice rooms, the only 2 negatives I will point out for the sake of pointing out were the hard water stains on the taps & also the leaves in the pool. A small effort can rectify this.

The hotel facilities are wonderful. But the staff is a group of cats each doing there own thing and not communicating. We asked the same question multiple times and got the same answer but when it came time to execute they did the exact opposite. This actually happened twice both times resulting in us frustrated with the manager on duty. If you can figure out how to stay here without actually having to deal with the reception desk you should be a golden.

Only stayed one night so i cant really say much. The room was ok but the bath was filthy.

The smell of disinfectant dominated the room for my stay. Even opening tbe room and letting it air out did little. As soon as I closed the window and turned on the ac it was back. Only downside of a great stay.

staff don't know what they are doing. manegar lied to us about the sweeming Poll no water doing mantanece. week before our group arrive I called and he said all is OK no problem about anything. when we arrive they said poll is under construction last 2 week. I move my group 4 room other hotel and I paid quite high. then he said can't do anything about price I paid another hotel. he said can only give 10% about spa or food bill. I am now going to complain ministry of tourism in India. if I not get my money back.

A great place for the airport-5 mins away ,it may need a bit of TLC and a coat of paint to be honest as it was looking a bit grubby but staff were very helpful, friendly and the food was good. Free shuttle to the airport in the morning.

Staff are polite and efficient. Room comfort and cleanliness is excellent. My feedback from my stay last year remains. The in-room safes are not secured to the structure of the building. Coincidentally, just as I was entering my room, one of the staff came to remove and replace the safe very quickly. I chuckled at the irony. Any thief could do the same. Note, however, the facility does have security measures in place. It just appears absurd to have a safe that can be carried under one's arm out of the room and complex so easily.

Excellent experience. We felt like at home. Rooms very luxurious, staff incredibly friendly, very clean and full of conforts

Only stayed 1night for early flight next morning. Room & bathroom fine (includes microwave). Beds and bedding super comfy! We stayed in a room with direct access to the pool. Pool is loosing some tiles and the paint on the bottom is flaking off - needs attention. What the best meal in the Bamboo Cafe, awesome food. Overall enjoyed our short stay

A good hotel to stay with family. Rooms are due for renovation. Overall good hotel.

It's nice to stay at resort. ..over all good services at resort Will recommend to stay over

Nice rooms! Friendly staff! Good Food recreation center, swimming pool etc..

I booked this hotel because I had stayed here before and it was lovely. This time I had more problems than enjoyment. I had requested through Travelocity to have early check in because my 30 hours of travel time resulted in an arrival time of 6:55am. Upon arrival I was told no request was received and regular check in was 2pm. The desk supervisor FINALLY allowed me to check in but said I needed to check out at 7:30am instead of the normal 12 noon time because I checked in early. I spoke with 3 managers and was finally granted a normal check out time. I was escorted to my room which was TWIN BEDS instead of the DOUBLE BED requested. The room was FILTHY DIRTY. NEITHER the WiFi nor the TV were working. AFTER another 3 visits from maintenance and the Room Manager...they finally changed my room. The hotel was NOT FULL at check in and found out that the first room I had was not occupied nor cleaned for ONE MONTH. I PROMISED the hotel that they would get a bad rating and HERE IT IS. NEVER WILL I RECOMMEND THE SAJ EARTH HOTEL to anyone.

Had to stay because of a transport strike but this hotel turned the inconvenience into a pleasant experience

This is a very, very quiet facility about a kilometre from the airport. The exception is of evening prayers being broadcasted outside of the hotel by local religious groups. I rather listen to prayers that loud music any day. The room was very clean with high quality linens and furnishings. The surround pool was a great feature. Very relaxing. What I did not like was the unsecured room safe. It was not attached to the wall or infrastructure of the building. Any burglar could have picked up the entire safe and walked out. However, the overall compound has obvious security.

I had booked a standard room way before my travel, yet when I arrived, I was informed by the reception that all the standard rooms were allotted to walk in guests. But I was upgraded to a deluxe room. The entire layout of the resort is well planned and you get peace and quite atmosphere. From the room you can walk in to the pool. Rooms are spacious and all the furniture and fixers are quite good. All the lights and aircon can be controlled by remote next to bed. However the deluxe room has two separate beds instead of one king size bed. ALl the chrome and steel in bathrooms need polish and the entire bathroom need deep cleaning. Need to maintain Furniture. Need to clean drapes. We found Stains on curtains. We were disturbed by some noise. When I checked, I found the gardener at work, right outside my room. He was making new lawn and getting soil in wheelbarrows. Aprt from that the stay was OK. Food quality and delivery time is quick. Enjoyed breakfast and Lunch. Menu offers wide range of NonVeg dishes, while limited choice for Pure Vegetarians. Located few hundred meters away from the airport, yet pick up is not complementary. the charges are INR400 (approx USD6). But the drop is complementary. Polite and helpful staff.

This is an excellent resort for relaxing and unwinding. Great food & excellent service. Courteous staff.

Friendly staff, good ambience and great food And customer service. I would go back and stay there again

Very friendly staff, excellent food and good rooms. No much to do nearby but we took a car to the beach which was nice.

Nice place to stay and conveniently close to the airport. Like 5 mins away. Has a beautiful pool which was relaxing, however, if you want to go anywhere else you will need to get buses, which are the cheapest option. For convenience, taxis and autos. However, be careful because the prices can vary significantly. Always ask for the meter to be on. The ones from the hotel are very expensive. Room basic and clean, comfortable and enough for longer stay. No issues except internet intermittent and prices could be up there with food and taxis comparable to outside.

The hotel as such is very good. there are a few glitches, no welcome drink was served to the guests, the room allotments were taken longer time than usual ( two hours to get inside the room). food quality i must say is ok ( however, then can add few more items and some better cuisine to go with it) the room service is satisfactory. the spa is not upto the mark

very good hotel and very good staf.

Great place, great staff, great location. Unexpected kind of greenery! Like most other places in India, maintenance is always a problem. You can see the negligence everywhere. Will be back. Will recommend.

As soon as we entered the hotel - despite the full booking made with 100% advance payment - they asked us to deposit a cash sum of Rs.2000/ - .When we discovered that the So called triple occupancy room was not good for three - we took another room - for which instant advance payment was demanded. Since the location was away food rates were another kill in store. When asked - they said "It is Hotel Policy".No copy was shown to us earlier of this policy.

Inefficient front desk staff. Outdated, smelly and dusty rooms. A/C dripping and not cooling properly. Inefficient maintenance staff. Not worth the price.

I only stayed there 1 night and didn't have time to try out the incredibly nice pool surrounding the rooms. But I was amazed at how well maintained and clean the pool is and the grounds. Staff was great and provided buggy ride from registration lobby to room. I had to leave for airport at 1am and they were very accomodating.

Pretty Nice hotel to stay at. Good ambience pretty well managed and maintained. stringent on the quantity of water provided as compliments i.e two 500mL bottle and Very limited tight allocation of coffee and tea. Team could do a little ballot than that as a value added Sesvice

Stay was comfortable. Decent rooms with a nice ambience. Resort feel. Food was just alright. One of the few food hotels near the airport where you can unwind and have a drink.

This hotel is about five minutes from the Kochi airport- extremely convenient! The pool is fantastic, just as big as it looks in the picture. Unfortunately, some of the facilities have odd timings- the fitness room doesn't open until 10 AM. I had a problem with the AC in my room when I arrived, and once they realized it would take a while to fix, they moved me immediately, so that went well.

My fourth stay here and I enjoy staying at the hotel. They have a great location right next to CIAL airport and the front desk staff is very helpful and courteous. I highly recommend this place in Kochi and do tell my friends about them. Hope to see you all soon again.

Very poor hospitality. Staff were not helpful at all, no customer service, very bad service. The Day we stayed was hot n sunny weather and we saw lot of umberlla stacked at the front office. When I asked for it, they impolitely denied saying it only meant for rainy days. upon requesting again she wanted to check with the manager for an approval and the manager also denied it with same reason. Same night I was requesting a fork n plate to eat my fruits, they didn't provide us saying that we didn't order any food from their restaurant. I would never recommend anyone to stay there. No value for money n end up spoiling your mood.

Didn't feel like we were just beside the airport. Very relaxing and great to step into the pool from your room. New restaurant was under construction so dining area was not that nice however food was good. Service erratic but staff all very pleasant.

The property was selected based on ratings online. It was a disaster from the word go. Unclean rooms, toilets with coffee bar attached, moldy and unclean rooms. We had hair in our breakfast, a rude restaurant manager and untimely staff (every single room order was delayed) The hotel is not worth staying especially at the price we paid.

Beautiful hotel with a very cool (huge) pool only about 3 minutes from the airport. The journey into Cochin is quite far however, so it wouldn't really be suitable for a home base if you were planning on making multiple trips into the city.

Great hotel, close to the airport but it's worth a stay for the pool alone. The staff are super friendly and helpful and the bbq restaurant is great too. Great value. Wished we could have stayed longer.

Good hotel with disappointing services by the staff. First day they didn't give me even wake up call and got late my meeting by one hr. They cheeted me in taxi booking and charged me double than market rates. They were supposed to pick me from airport but they didn't turn up and I had to reach by airpott taxi finally

For the early flights this was a great place to stay only minutes from the airport in the complimentary transport. Staff couldn't do more to help you and there were plenty of recreation opportunities to fill in the waiting time. Food was also good .

good
