I couldn't use the jacuzzi both days becuase it was been used as a kids pool.

Noise all night from the restaurant, cleaning and prepping for the morning. The restaurant is clearly the priority of this business, not the hotel. In the restaurant we had people assertively pushing for tips, coming back with the bill, saying: service, even if we had already written those onto the signed bill. Basics such as an extra water bottle could not be provided. The valet parking seems nice but takes a long time.

Reviewed Jul 17, 2026Casareyna is a surprise. One street cross from old town. There are a lot of open spaces. The gardens are well maintained. The restaurant is a separate place but very popular. I had two breakfast there and enjoyed it. My room is very large and all the decor is ceramics. I would highly recommend this hotel.
The restaurant is downstairs of my room. So a bit noisy in the morning.

I felt very special staying here, the restaurant was great and had Sumilier that helped with our dinner wines. Such a great experience.
To be honest, I did not find one thing. I did not love about this hotel.

No hay un salón o lugar para leer o tomar un trago tranquilo, todo parece un enorme comedor. El servicio de televisión es complicadísimo, y eso siendo sede del Mundial es raro.

Also more hooks for wet bath towels and to dry bathing suits. Main room: Separate above bed reading lights. Otherwise, we had an amazing stay. Will definitely stay here again, and recommend it to friends.

Reviewed Jun 29, 2026Casareyna is an upscale hotel on the eastern side of Puebla's historic center. It's just outside the main tourist area, an easy block-and-a-half walk across busy streets with traffic lights and crosswalks into the heart of the center. Our spacious ground-floor room had high ceilings and was decorated in white with dark wood furniture. Furnishings included a comfortably firm king bed, a desk and chair, nightstands, and a wardrobe. There was also a TV, air conditioning, a Nespresso machine with two complimentary pods (additional pods are available for a charge), and a safe. The very large bathroom had a medium-sized freestanding tub, a good-sized shower with consistent hot water and good pressure, and an enclosed toilet room with a clear glass door. There was plenty of counter space, the usual amenities, and the Wi-Fi worked well. Although the room was right on the street, the soundproof windows worked very well and we could barely hear any traffic. Breakfast is served à la carte in the hotel's main courtyard dining room. They offer the usual Mexican breakfast choices as well as lighter options such as a fruit plate with yogurt and granola.

Nos quedamos a desayunar todos los días y una noche nos quedamos a cenar y la experiencia fue memorable. Una tarde nos quedamos en la piscina para leer y relajarnos y se estaba genial. Sin duda cuando volvamos a Puebla nos alojaremos aquí.
La habitación que nos asignaron estaba arriba de la cocina y se oía un poco de ruido cuando empezaban a preparar el desayuno.

My only complaint is that the th halls and floors were entirely stone or tile and all sounds reverberated throughout the room. People would walk up the stairs outside or our room and stand in the hallway talking loudly in the middle of the night. It was as if they were in the room with us. Then they'd slam the door as they went into their room. Even earplugs didn't help.

Besonders die Damen am Empfang waren so zuvorkommend und herzenslieb, vielen Dank nochmal für alles. Ich möchte außerdem die Ludoteca loben, die Damen waren extrem liebenswert und die Kinder wollten ständig dort spielen - genial. Wir sind öfter in Puebla und kommen sicher wieder. Bis bald.

Intentamos modificar las fechas de la reserva con 24 horas antes de la llegada debido a una contingencia ambiental en el estado de México lo cual nos impedía trasladarnos a Puebla. La gerente fue muy amable sin embargo la empresa fue poco flexible y tuvimos que pagar una penalidad la cual en mi opinión la considero injusta.

You only get two coffee capsules during your stay and they charge you for additional ones. Would have been nice to have tea options and not just coffee .

Reviewed Jan 27, 2026Gorgeously designed/restored building with talavera art featured throughout. The room was very spacious and beautifully appointed and though the weather wasn’t suited for it, the pool area is stunning too.
This is an issue throughout the whole of Mexico, but the building and specifically the rooms were not at all soundproofed and with all the rooms opening to the main courtyard of the building that had a crèche, we could hear kids shouting whilst they were playing for a lot of our stay.

Reviewed Jan 26, 2026Third year in a row I’ve stayed here. Its just fantastic. Friendly helpful staff. Trendy spacious rooms. Great adjoining restaurant and pool. Good value for money.
The pool was out of action for repairs. This was due to earthquake related damage two weeks before my visit, so really not the hotel’s fault at all.
