the staff is really helpful and is trying to solve any issues. I got a room without windows and complained that it wasn't mentioned during booking. They checked if rooms with a window are available and transferred me right away.

It felt like a luxury experience all around. The price seems more than fair for what we got. Huge room and bathroom, nice rooftop pool we got to ourselves most of the time, good room service for normal prices. High end design, aroma therapy for the room… Perfect location for walking around the city.

Could hear some noise from outside because the hallway is open, so it’s not really protected beyond the door of the room. Many of the staff didn’t seem to speak English (other than the front desk) which didn’t bother us because I speak Spanish, but perhaps worth pointing out for other travelers.

Beautiful peaceful resort in the most fabulous area of the historic centre. We spent four nights here, breakfast and restaurant were lovely, spa and pool beautiful. We were upgraded to a suite and it was spacious and beautifully appointed

We had an extended stay at the Cartesiano, 3 weeks in July. We selected it because it had a nice pool, was close to the historic center and had great reviews. The first week we faced a few glitches, but after speaking to management, we had an excellent stay. We really enjoyed having breakfast and lunch downstairs at La Concordia. Paola, always greeted us with a smile, gave us excellent service and paid attention to detail. We also had great concierges. Carlos and Diana always made sure that we were taken care of. I apologize if I haven’t mentioned everybody else, they do have a great staff. I just can’t remember everybody’s name.. Book an extra week at the Cartesiano if you’re not sure how long to stay. We could have easily stayed there for 4 to 5 weeks. They are in a great location and have a nice peaceful hotel that you can go back to rest once you’ve been out in the city. We will be back for sure.

There are two restaurants in the hotel. One is continental and one is Mexican. The service in the Mexican restaurant needs significant improvement.

Great class for all levels. Instructor was really nice and was knowledgeable in her practice.

I took wellness classes: sound bath, yoga and yoga. Good experience for this being my first introduction to these classes. Instructor was knowledgeable, calm, and helpful.

We had a wonderful stay at the Cartesiano, and enjoyed our night so much, we extended our stay another night. From the cleanliness of the room to the ambience and small details, like turn down service, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and welcome. And the greater amenities, like the rooftop pool and on-site restaurant, had us lingering on site - simply enjoying our time together as a family. We can’t thank the staff enough for going above and beyond to secure us a safe ride to and from a wedding outside the city. The whole experience was a 10/10!

The hotel is very nice and the property is stunning. The king suite was enormous and beautifully decorated. The fine dining restaurant upstairs was very convienient for a nice dinner and easy breakfast. The location was perfect, right in the center of town and walking distance to restaurants, shopping and bars. The staff were very professional, polite and super friendly. They made some excellent dinner reservations for us. We highly recommend staying here.

Excellent service right upon check in. Friendly staff with knowledgeable information. Beautiful hotel with modern architecture in mind. Rooms are fabulous and luxurious and softies bed ever! I spelt well and rested. Highly recommend and definitely will return.

This is a very upscale hotel with large comfortable rooms, pool, spa and two restaurants. It is well located for exploring Puebla and close to many cafes and restaurants.). The staff were all invariably friendly and professional. It smells amazing!

We were disappointed when we went to try the Mexican restaurant of the hotel (Custodia) as most of the things we wanted to order were not available (apparently due to an event ??) It doesn’t have a particularly Mexican feel - you could be anywhere in the world!

The location is in the edge of downtown near the Sapos market, its very practical, and it has great parking and a nice bay, which is rare in the area. The overall experience of the hotel is really nice, it feels premium. Inside it's like walking through a park, and the patio with the suites is lovely. The spa installations are top-notch, and the service there is amazing, Alain is very kind and professional. The restaurant upstairs is very accommodating; Alejandro and Angel were always attentive and arranged a vegan dish for me to have on the included continental breakfast instead of the standard options. The toiletries are very good.

The cleaning staff was very nice, but I think the cleaning itself between days could be a little more thorough. I spent three nights, and on the last day I had to really use the very bottom of the toiletries. They are expensive loccitan, and I understand you won't change them if they're still full, but I think three nights warrants a refill. Also ,the undercuttain catches with the raw stone and it was a bit frayed.

The location of hotel is good. It smells really nice except for the bathrooms in the restaurant on the ground floor. They did not smell good. The rooms are very comfortable so are the beds. The hotel doesnt have a gym, they have a space to do yoga. It was disappointing to me that they dont have a proper gym with running machines for example. The staff is friendly and helpful.

They have a nice spa with indoor pools and a steam room but you need to pay extra to use this and I think this should be included in the rate. The hotel has a really nice pool but it closes at 6pm. which is a shame as I couldnt use it but I would have liked to. I thought the hotel was expensive , for midweek in Puebla I paid USD150 per night with no gym and no breakfast.

Love the location and the comfort. Was asked what essential oil we wanted the staff to spray by our beds right before bed. The elevators smelled amazing. The service by the pool was on point. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. For the price, I would definitely go back. Right next to the center of the town and walking distance to most shops.

No concerns. My only tip is to not drink tap water, I made the mistake of drinking some (to no one’s fault but my own) and got a little sick the day after checking out.

The food and atmosphere were amazing! The hotel is located in the heart of the city with many shops, markets, and restaurants with in couple of minutes walk.the rooms and architecture of the hotel are beautiful. We will be back.

The location is excellent, and we love both restaurants. The room was great - the beds, lines, pillows, shower. The staff are incredibly friendly. We especially want to recognize Octavius for his help with our (very) late check in; Gaby, David, Angel, Jared, and Kenia at Custodia; Paola, Angel, Araceli, Israel, Alejandro, Eduardo, and Renato at Comedor. We look forward to our return.

the location was perfect, close the Centro, many markets, awesome restaurants, and street food. You can walk the streets for hours and take in the amazing Mexican / Spanish architecture, and different colourful homes and business. Lots to see and do close by, museums, cholula pyramid and church - the list goes on!! Go and enjoy : )

Excellent location, friendly and helpful staff, clean room.

We had to change room because of 2 things: the door of our room wasn't soundproof and the wind blew through it, it was quite noisy and chilly in the room because of that. However, the night staff solved the issue very efficiently, so nothing to complain about. (These kinds of doors are according to my experience quite common in Mexican hotels).

Our stay at Cartesiano Boutique & Wellness Hotel was truly wonderful. The location is perfect ; within walking distance of most of the attractions in the historic center of Puebla. The building itself is very unique. Part of the hotel preserves the original historic structure, which many years ago was a tile factory, beautifully blended with modern wooden design. Nature is incorporated throughout the property, creating a very peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The pool area is amazing and offers beautiful views of the city. Both restaurants exceeded our expectations. They were incredibly accommodating for our large group of family and friends who were staying at the hotel before our son’s wedding. Our room was very spacious, spotless, and had such a fresh, elegant scent. We were also pleasantly surprised by the small, delicious cookies that were left for us every afternoon. It was such a thoughtful touch. The coffee pods were always replenished as well. The reception staff were very attentive and welcoming throughout our stay. I would definitely come back and highly recommend this unique hotel to anyone looking for a combination of history, wonderful food, excellent service, and relaxation while exploring the beautiful historic center of Puebla.
