Reviewed Aug 16, 2026Piękny pokój z dużym balkonem i widokiem na morze. Bardzo czysto. Świetna lokalizacja do zobaczenia atrakcji południowej Krety. Plakias to chyba najbardziej zorganizowane małe miasteczko turystyczne na wyspie w jakim byliśmy. Świetne sklepy w okolicy, fajne i pełne ludzi lokale gastronomiczne, bardzo czyste i zadbane ulice, brak śmieci itp. W hotelu dostępne bardzo dobre śniadania. Nasza 5 letnia córka czuła się w tym hotelu bardzo dobrze, a nie zdarzyło się to w każdym, w którym się zatrzymaliśmy tego wyjazdu.

Reviewed Jul 24, 2026Nice hotel, exceptional view from the balcony. Cleaning is done every day, it is a quiet hotel and breakfast was delicious. The staff is very careful with your needs and helps with whatever they can. It was a very pleasant stay.
While some renovations have already been made in the rooms and in the lobby area, bathrooms still need a newer touch, and by that I don't mean retiling the whole bathroom, but changing the faucets as they are a bit too old.

Reviewed Jul 2, 2026Το δωμάτιο δεν ήταν όπως στην κράτηση . Ζητήσαμε αλλαγή δωματίου αλλά το ξενοδοχείο δεν μπορούσε να κάνει. τότε ζητήσαμε την ακύρωση της κράτησης μας, όπως και έγινε. Το WIFI στο δωμάτιο με μηδενική ταχύτητα.

Einschlafen bei Meeresrauschen...Das Zimmer war geschmackvoll und gemütlich eingerichtet. Es war für uns ein rundum toller Aufenthalt und wir kommen bestimmt wieder! Das mit Abstand beste Hotel auf unserer Kreta-Rundreise!

Reviewed Nov 2, 2025gutes Frühstücksbüffet (ich hatte in in Griechenland allerdings schon mal bessere). Zimmer war super, ausreichend Platz, der nahegelegene Ort Plakias kann fußläufig erreicht werden in ca. 5 min, hat diverse Restaurants, Supermärkte. Ruhige Anlage.
der Kaffee aus dem Automaten war glaube ich der schlechteste, den ich jemals in Griechenland hatte. Begrenzte Anzahl von Parkplätzen, wo man echt ein wenig rangieren muss. Es gibt viele deutsche ältere Stammgäste. Ich würde mal schätzen, das Durchschnittsalter liegt bei ca. 60 Jahren.

Reviewed Oct 23, 2025Das Horizon Beach ist ein kleines, gemütliches und ruhiges Hotel, was uns sehr gut gefallen hat. Das Personal ist super und immer für einen da, freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die sauberen Zimmer inklusive Meerblick sind traumhaft. Man hörte ständig das Meeresrauschen. Selbst die Straße vor dem Haus stört nicht, da sie zum einen tiefer liegt und wenig befahren ist. Besonders gut hat uns das Frühstück gefallen. Es gab zwar nur eine kleinere Auswahl, aber es war alles mit dabei und vollkommen ausreichend! Besonders schön war jedoch das Ambiente. Da das Hotel nicht sehr groß ist, ist es auf der Frühstücksterasse sehr ruhig und man kann den wunderbaren Ausblick genießen. Alles in allem haben wir uns sehr, sehr wohl gefühlt!
Ehrlich gesagt hat uns alles super gut gefallen. Vielleicht nur, dass das Ein- und Ausparken manchmal etwas herausfordernd ist. Aber zum einen ist ein ausreichend großer Parkplatz vorhanden! Und zum anderen war das Personal hilfsbereit und hat unterstützt, wenn Hilfe erforderlich war. Vielen, vielen Dank nochmal!

Jeg skulle ønske at det ikke var lov å røyke på altanene. Røyken kom inn i rommet vårt, og det var ikke hyggelig. Skulle også ønske solskjerming på altanen da det var for varmt å sitte der om ettermiddagen Ellers var alt supert.

Frühstück zwar ausreichend aber den Preis nicht wert, der Kaffee leider auch nicht gut.

Reviewed Sep 20, 2025Plakias ist zu Fuss gut erreichbar. Das geräumige Zimmer hatte zwei Balkone (!)mit Sicht aufs Meer. Das Frühstück geniesst man auf einer schönen Terrasse ebenfalls mit Meerblick. Das familiäre Strandhotel ist einfach wunderschön. Wir kommen gerne wieder.
