Superbe lieu tranquille a la sortie du ferry.. Vue incroyable de la chambre !! Très bon repas le soir Excellent petit déjeuner dans un superbe cadre Visiter balestrand a une dizaine de kilomètres Possibilité de recharge électrique de la voiture avec la carte bleu bien plus facile que les applications... Possibilité de charger a coter de l hôtel mais application nécessaire..

Das Hotel hat eine tolle Lage. Nicht weit vom Fähranleger mit super Aussicht auf den Fjord. Die Treppe in's Obergeschoss ist steil, die nette Rezeptionistin hat meinen Koffer hinaufgetragen. Das Zimmer ist eher klein, aber sauber, hell und freundlich. Die große Fensterfront ist absolut wetterfest (kein Wind). Und die Aussicht auf den Fjord ist phantastisch. Der kleine Tisch ist praktisch, die beiden Fauteuils auch, damit ist der Raum auch schon voll. Das Essen ist wirklich gut - zum Abendessen gibt es lokale Spezialitäten, alles hat sehr gut geschmeckt. Beim Frühstück ist alles vorhanden, Gerichte mit Ei werden auf Wunsch frisch zubereitet. Und der Blick auf den Fjord ist spektakulär. Dss Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit!

Das Bad ist sehr klein, ohne Ablageflächen. Leider sind die Wände recht dünn, wir konnten den Nachbarn hören. Und nur weil es geregnet hat, ist mir der Fernseher abgegangen.

I liked the close proximity to the ferry and Balestrand, amazing fjord views, and onsite dining for breakfast and dinner.

I didn’t like that many of the property areas seemingly required additional charges. A single upfront price would be appreciated. I didn’t like the limited EV charging - just 2 chargers across the street.

We had a beautiful cabin all to ourselves - fully fitted with a kitchen, bathroom, etc. and had a beautiful view from the window. The hotel restaurant has an amazing view (hard to put into words how nice this is) and gorgeous food.

Nothing really. Some people might not like how quiet the area was and the bus timetable into town is not the most convenient. Would be better to have a car when staying here.

Notre chambre était un peu petite pour nos 2 grosses valises.

Wir hatten ein Upgrade bekommen und konnten einen fantastischen Blick auf den Fjord genießen 😍Das Restaurant ist exquisit. Das Frühstück umfangreich und das Personal äußerst freundlich.

The views were great! The food was excellent! Very friendly staff who went out of their way to be welcoming, nice hikes in the area. The owner dropped us off at a nearby apple farm near a stave church with yummy desserts and cider. The property has incredible views from every angle. Definitely exceeded all our expectations!

J'ai tout aimé ! L'emplacement, la gentillesse du personnel, la qualité du petit déjeuner et du repas le soir (bien qu'un peu cher pour des français). Et surtout la vue panoramique sur le fjord depuis la chambre. Nous y serions bien restés 1 ou 2 jours de plus. La proximité pour la superbe randonnée Raudmelen.

Hôtel familial avec un personnel très serviable et cordial.Un buffet petit déjeuner avec du choix, très bon.La literie est également confortable.Si vous n avez pas de voiture comme nous,le bus s arrête devant l hôtel 👍.Nous avons passé un agréable séjour dans cet hôtel calme.

Todo. Es un sitio idílico, cerca de Balestrand y las instalaciones están cuidadas y son preciosas. Hay mucho sitio para estar tranquilamente tomando algo o leyendo. La comida también muy bien, con mucha comodidad y opciones. Ha sido una experiencia para el recuerdo.

Tout ! Emplacement calme juste à la sortie du ferry. Balestrand pas loin pour recharge rapide électrique voiture ( l’hotel ne dispose que de 2 prises lentes et souvent deja occupées) Personnel d’une gentillesse extraordinaire ! Petit déjeuner top ! Et que dire de la chambre.....les photos parlét d’elles même ! Petit sentier pour aller jusqu’au fjord. Déco dans de petites cabanes et kiosque juste magnifiques ! Allez y les yeux fermés !

الغرفة كانت في الأعلى وصعب الصعود لها الدرج ضيق سيما الذي معه اغراض ، لاتوجد لها شرفه، النور لايعمل ، لايوجد ميني بار ( شاهي وكفي) الفندق ليس كما هو في الصور، الموقع يبعد عن قرية بالستراند 20 دقيقة تقريبا، الموقع غير مغري إلا في حال الاحتياج للراحة الضرورية

It is a beautiful place to stay very peaceful and relaxing. The staff are very welcoming and friendly and helpful It ihas great views of the Fjord. Very comfortable lounges and many spots to sit outside.

In plaats van een standaard hotelkamer hadden we de beschikking over een authentiek ogende Noors huiskamertje met keukentje in een dito huis. we voelden ons meteen thuis. Bijbehorend restaurant had een geweldig uitzicht over het fjord.

was nog veel beter dan we verwacht hadden.

Un hôtel très bien placée à la sortie du ferry. Très beau jardin et promenade le long du fjord. Des espaces extérieurs très agréables.

Nous résidions dans le bâtiment annexe qui malgré une belle rénovation reste un peu fané. Le restaurant dispose d’un très bel espace avec vue sue le fjord.

Sauberkeit im Zimmer (staubige Kissen) und Service (kein Service trotz Schilan der Tür) sind noch ausbaufähig

Beautiful location by the fjord. Excellent breakfast, staff super friendly. Dinner was also very good. Since we were traveling with our baby, they kindly put us on a bigger cabin by the lake.

This stay was a massive disappointment and a total waste of money . I paid the highest rate I have ever spent on a hotel in my life, expecting a luxury experience to match its glowing reviews. Instead, it became clear that you are paying purely for access to a private fjord location, while the actual hotel services and infrastructure are subpar and severely overpriced. Here is why this property completely fails to live up to its price tag: The rooms are completely ordinary for such an exorbitant price, and the bathrooms are shockingly small and cramped. Calling what they serve a "breakfast" is a bad joke. Portion sizes are borderline insulting; ordering eggs gets you a single egg and a tiny strip of bacon. Rather than offering real, sustaining food, they serve minimal "tasting" portions, forcing guests to pay extra for real meals at their (super) overpriced restaurant. When the lights in my room burned out, I reported it. Staff entered my room, claimed they fixed it, but did nothing, leaving me without working lighting for my stay. Later, when I requested a breakfast to go for an early checkout, I was handed a single cheap sandwich. When I asked to drop it in the fridge at 7:00 AM, I was told no staff would be available to help. The hotel is also quite isolated outside Balestrand with very limited local bus connections. Despite reading that they offer guest rides, no transport support or guidance was offered to me whatsoever. While the fjord itself is visually stunning, I was alarmed to discover open smelling sewage pipes draining directly into the fjord water right near the property, raising serious questions about water cleanliness for guests attempting to swim. A hotel cannot rely solely on a nice view to charge premium luxury rates while offering tiny rooms, miserable food portions, broken lighting, and indifferent service. Save your money and stay somewhere that respects its guests and provides basic repeat in all fronts.

Cute, great location, great service, amazing breakfast. We were concerned that the standard room wouldn't be big enough for 2 friends but it was plenty big.

Bardzo miły personel z wyjątkiem jednej pani :)

Niestety zgrzyt straszny na kolacji... Nie mieliśmy rezerwacji chociaż nikt o jej konieczności nam nie wspomniał przy meldowaniu się. Nawet Pan w recepcji zachęcał do skorzystania z hotelowrj restauracji. Co zresztą zrobiliśmy. Sala pusta. Miła Pani kelnerka przyjęła zamówienie i wszystko było ok. Za około 10 minut przyszła inna Pani i oznajmiła nam że nie możemy być obsłużeni bo nie mamy rezerwacji. Sala pusta. Nikogo. Jeżeli byłoby nawet wszystko zarezerwowane to były do dyspozycji stoliki na zewnątrz, w oranżerii obok restauracji więc można było zorganizować dodatkowy stolik. Wystarczyła odrobina dobrej woli. Wstaliśmy zirytowani i pojechaliśmy do innej restauracji gdzie kimo pełnej obsady kelner zorganizował nam stolik i spędziliśmy miło i smacznie wieczór :) Muszę jednak nadmienić że Pani która przyjęła zamówienie wyszła do nas na parking i poprosiła żebyśmy wrócili. Pewnie się zreflektowała że jej koleżanka popełniła gafę. No ale mleko się rozlało a my nie chcieliśmy w takiej atmosferze spędzać wieczoru :( Pozdrawiamy miłą Panią pierwszą kelnerkę bo wiem że bardzo się starała naprawić zaistniałą sytuację i doceniam to bardzo :) A panią która nas wyprosiła zachęcam do refleksji nad swoim zachowaniem :( Niestety dodatkowo dostaliśmy pokój od strony ulicy więc przejeżdżające auta były dokuczliwe :((

Lovely place, great views of the fjord, generally quiet. Staff is lovely and quick to support with issues or questions. Restaurant was nice, with a stunning view of the glacier and very good food.

Our cabin had some issues and found it surprising that the hotel allows camping in the cabin area - not something you would expect for a hotel.

This place is a must visit if you are in the area. The views are out of this world and its the ideal place to explore but also to just relax. The staff is also lovely (especially the dutch girl) & very helpful. Make sure to swim in the Fjords & also visit the local Cider farm.

Even though we got a little room upgrade and we had fantastic views, the room was right above the kitchen and the extractor was infront of our window so our room often smelt of food. The breakfast could also do with a little upgrade but otherwise we loved it!!

This hotel is literally 1km from the ferry. It's convenient with plenty of parking. The rooms and public spaces are exactly what to expect when traveling the fjords in the rural areas of Norway, and that is the appeal. The staff are super nice. The dinner we had at the hotel was actually pretty good. From this hotel we had one of the best drives on the second day to see the glacier. We stayed here two days and that was enough, but also perfect. The hotel was a good launchpad for a full-day excursion in our car.

The EV power station in the parking lot across the street was not very good. It provides 7KW or power and did not work for us.

The room was spacious and comfortable with a porch that looked over the fiord. The meals were delicious.

The location although beautiful was difficult to go to the town. We had to pay a taxi, the hotel, or the bus to get around. Other than the bus the other two modes of transportation were expensive.

We stayed in a self catering cabin close to the fjord. I rate this a 10/10 for location, convenience, view and privacy. The changing landscape captivated us. We wanted to stay, forever.

Fabulous location., lovely views and swimming in the fjord from a small waters” edge platform. Restaurant offers a limited but extremely tasty menu. . Largely family run small hotel, welcoming and friendly.

Didn’t bother us in the slightest but some may miss aTV in the room and additional facilities such as a gym or pool.

There were lots of cozy places to hang out, the views from the hotel windows are amazing of both the fjord and Balastrand.

We didn’t like the bathroom, the prices of drinks and meals, and weren’t able to drink our own alcohol on the property, except in our room.

Das Hotel ist sehr schon gelegen. Ganz egal auf welcher Seite man wohnt, man hat immer Blick auf den Fjord. Es liegt direkt an der Fähre, ist also für Durchreisende ideal geeignet. Es gibt ein Restaurant und auch gutes Frühstück. Parkmöglichkeiten direkt am Hotel. Einen nett gestalteten Aussenbereich mit verschiedenen Sitzmöglichkeiten .

Bad war sehr eng. Die Zimmer waren hellhörig, ich mein Zimmernachbarn schnarchen gehört.

Sehr angenehmes Hotel in der Nähe von Balestrand. Ruhig gelegen mit schöner Umgebung. Frühstück und nettes Restaurant. Beim nächsten Mal würden wir uns eher eine der Hütten auf dem Gelände nehmen.
