Homestead Villa Motel

Very clean and lovely Staff ver helpful and friendly

Overall comfortable stay here. Spacious room and liked the separate lounge area. Easy walking to some food options with a restaurant across the street. Friendly staff and reasonably quiet despite there also being a bar nearby

We booked for queen bed and two twin bed, but we got one single bed and queen bed. It is very eco- friendly and family friendly though.

Comfortable stay. Heaps of parking & handy to the city centre. Great food across the street, and you even get a discount for staying at the homestead. No hesitation to recommend.

Spacious modern rooms A little bit of traffic noise.

Thanks for the great stay

Spacious clean friendly place to stay. Would return if ever back in Invercargill

Was lovely stay, staff was lovely

Convenience.

Great spot, quiet rooms, comfortable and spacious. Very clean. Friendly heelpful staff.

Handy place to stay within Invercargill. Nice restaurant across the road, make sure you get the discount! Plenty of free car parking & internet.

I was down there for work, travel all over nz and have to say this was one of the most thoughtful places I have stayed-an electric blanket on the bed made it 10/10 for me and the touch of the kitkat sitting on the bench with a note to have a break, t little touches but make all the difference. I will definitely be back and recommend to other travellers too

Very affordable, clean and friendly service.

Nice, clean and modern

Really convenient breakfast

Love the spacious room, spa bath and quiet location

Fabulous room, very warm and nice beds. Lovely stay. Great to have free laundry service too.

Great location, easy parking and close to everything you need. Excellent customer service and friendliness, thank you.

Lovely spacious rooms, very comfortable.

We were not at all pleased with the cheap and difficult plumbing faucets and shower. Lowers our opinion of an otherwise satisfactory experience.

Terrific motel, good location with a good pub and very nice restaurant both within a minute's walk. Staff very friendly.

Great room and staff with friendly smiles. Would certainly stay again.

This is a good hotel in the outskirts of Invercargill. The staff is very nice and we had a great discussion with the Bulldozer. The room is very large and has a good kitchen with all the items needed to cook a meal. The area around the hotel is rather suburban and other than the two restaurants next door there is not much you can walk to. The Park is one block away but you cannot enter the main part of the park from here since it is cut off by the golf course. The free laundry is an excellent feature.

Very accommodating staff, had to change room due to extra people staying. Happy with the accommodation.

Quick overnight stay. Stayed numerous times & accommadation very good. Plenty of free car parking and handy to the CBD.

Good value for family to stay. Great facilities.

Everything about it was outstanding.... great property and great staff!

Handy motel to stay. Comfortable rooms with nice bed. Rooms are a bit tired now, but they have everything you need. Free parking.

Awesome place to stay, highly recommended

Super happy woth the stay. Was really handy. Spacious rooms. Woukd def stay again!

Great motel, clean well maintained. Highly recommend

Nice location and good price. Nice accommodation

Room tired, bathroom needs a big makeover, light in bedroom flickering

Handy accommodation to the city. The rooms are being renovated, so workman everywhere. Would have been nice to have been notified that work is taking place. Good accommodation nevertheless

Convenient to everything, clean, friendly service and so good we will be back.

It could do with a slight renovation. The paint was peeling in the bathroom, some mould was present on the bathroom ceiling. Unfortunately, there were 2 separate taps in the bathroom basin and kitchen sink, one for hot water and one for cold. So you can’t really wash your hands in warm water unless you plug the sink up and mix the water in there. They did say it was going to be replaced soon so it might be done the next time we go there. Overall, we liked the room as it was large and clean. Heating in the room was good too. Laundry facilities were available. Good location if you have a car. Good food across the road. The taps were the only bugbear. We would stay there again when the tapware is replaced.

Great room, very clean . Great sleep and terrific staff

Everything was of a high standard which was reflected in the fact it was full every night of our stay. The staff were friendly and helpful and the facilities modern and very comfortable. There are plenty of outside sitting and a modern bright and fresh atmosphere.Checking in and out was easy and straightforward. Above all scrupulously clean and well maintained. Will not hesitate to stay again.

Room was very clean and spacious. Nice garden area to sit out in. Staff extremely helpful and friendly.

Very nice. Good location close to Queen’s Park and town.

The room was clean, reception and service very good. Only problem was constant noise from traffic and some noisy guests earlier in evening.

Good staff, nice room.

so clean and tidy

Nice Clean

spacey apartment style motel unit.

We had 2 2-bedroom suites with kitchen, dining and living room area. The bedrooms included a queen and a twin, and 2 twins. This worked out great for us! We had 4 little kids and 4 adults and we had plenty of room and cooked our own meals. Only 10 min walk to a big playground which the kids loved! Definitely stay here!

Very comfortable and roomy accommodation

Great room

Plenty of room for the 5 of us with large living room, table for the 5 us to eat, and nice kitchen for cooking a meal. At the end of night, we all had room on the couch to watch a movie on Netflick..

Great room , with all amenities

Was very nice an clean. Laundry was great. Loved it

The room was nice and very spacious. Full kitchen and big bathroom and living room space. Pleasantly surprised by how nice it was. In a good location and close to a lot of food choices.

Very good value for money, rooms were very spacious and comfortable Great staff

Liked that it was very clean, tidy and all staff there was very polite. Also it was only up the road from my venue which was a bonus.

Good location, spacious rooms. All we we needed for family stop over. Nice little garden area for my little ones to play in while we unpacked.

perfect for a night or two. Clean, lots of space. Good restaurant opposite.

Great welcoming service by staff, as well as cleaning service. Good spot. Enjoyed the stay .

Spacious living area and bedroom.

Lovely quiet spacious studio, and our child enjoyed the tyre swing. Large smart TV was a good bonus. Laundry facilities and wifi were free. Close to Queen's Park for morning runs. Great stay, thanks

It was perfect for what we needed. Thankyou.

This property was one of the most outstanding motels that I have ever stayed in, their attention to details was excellent. I would highly recommend to anyone wanting a break away to choose this accommodation. 10/10 for everything we experienced whilst staying here😊

Large size rooms, a bit dated but good condition

No Handle in the toilet for old people. Heating was good.

Convenient hotel but tired and odors of smoke throughout.

A great property to stay loads of room and cooking facilitys

Very handy to everything

Loved the spa bath and cleanliness of the room.

We had a ground floor room next to the office, with people moving around upstairs the floor was creaking every time someone moved, a bit off putting but generally it was a good stay.

It was easy for us to do our business trip from. Handy location

Really enjoyed my small trip ,at motel, good customer service, nice clean room, great reception for wifi.will stays again .

Was not very clean. Lipstick on cup, small amount of blood on one bed, pink stuff all over the shower wall, dirty walls elsewhere, carpet felt dirty like it needed a deep clean. When you walk into reception it stinks like smoke. Disappointed for a 4 star motel.

Staff really friendly, easy check in and out, lovely room.

Disappointing. Stayed for a long period of time and get treated poorly at reception. Disgraceful

Starting to get a little dated but was extremely clean. Very impressed by staff. Excellent manager

Shower over bath didnt like but was nice strong shower. No option to go to breakfast at homestead restaurant. Street noise.

Clean & tidy. Nice room, good shower pressure. All around good stay.

The room was very spacious & comfortable but the fixtures are looking rather tired & dated for a "luxury" suite such as paint flaking off the taps & shower hardware, the tv in the bedroom is a nightmare to get going with dodgy power cords that short out. Great bed though with a good selection of pillows.

I was pleasantly surprised! Huge room, great super king bed and excellent facilities, would stay here again!

Nice big rooms and good couch.

Modern and clean. Huge rooms. Great.

Awesome southern hospitality at its best, staff are friendly and perfect hosts

Positives: Great Central Location , Room was Spacious, Staff were friendly Downsides: Free WIFI connection was poor dropped out all night, room backs on to a noisy road

Great property, close to town, clean and good size rooms.

The accommodation was clean and comfortable. We only stayed one night but the accommodation was good and the staff friendly.

shower over bath not good for older people'

Fantastic hotel. Big room, clean as a whistle and walking distance to two great restaurants. Highly recommend!

A nice clean and tidy motel

Nice place to stay . Clean and tidy rooms.Good services

Travelling with colleagues on business- we booked a 2 bedroom apartment. It was extremely comfortable, well equipped and spacious Staff were helpful and friendly

By far the best place we have stayed at on our South Island Road trip. Modern, clean and large units which are fantastic for families. Guest laundry onsite free of charge was a bonus. Just a short walk to Queens Park and not far from town centre. Highly recommend to any family visiting Invercargill.

Excellent service, value for money, spacious and clean room

Very nice and spacious units close to all amenities

Spacious and very comfortable. Helpful and friendly receptionist.

Untidy

We liked the space of the room. The beds and pillows were super comfy The spa bath was an unusual shape

Whilst our room did not look anything like the picture on Expedia, it was a lovely room, very spacious and nice and quiet. It was easy to find and locate and so would recommend this to future travellers

Accommodation was tidy ans pleasant. Would definitely stay there again

I literally loved staying and the kids did not want to leave. beds are comfy room heats up nicely bathroom was my favourite
