Château Logue Hotel

Didn't use it

We found Chateau Logue to be a simple, quiet and comfortable place to stay. The only things we might suggest is having proper pillows on the bed(one was a small square throw pillow with a pillow case over it) and having bilingual signage on everything, not just some things :-). Overall we would stay again.

Amazing hotel... very comfortable... very clean ....quiet rooms .... Labour Day Monday the restaurant was not available .... next to no english spoken by hotel staff ....

Love the site and quiet environment.

The Chateau was under renovation last year and it looks like they never finished. There were drywall patches that were never painted. The carpets were filthy. The dining room and bar are closed! The location is great and with some TLC the facilities can be again, but not right now.

Nice property!

There seems to be a glitch in the reservation system at this hotel. We were charged twice for our one-night stay: first in advance online and then again at check-in (though for a slightly different amount). While we were eventually reimbursed by the hotel for the extra bill we had paid at check-in, the seemingly ill-trained front-desk clerk didn't know how to access the Expedia system (to verify our original payment), or when to call a manager for help. The hotel and facilities were great, and we hope to return next time we visit the Maniwaki area. It's also very good value, but we'll avoid paying in advance through Expedia.

Easy check in, and really nice staff at the front desk

Third time returning. No perks, restaurant closed, construction in hallway and grass cutting really early in the morning. We asked to be on the other side of the hotel because our last stay was in the exact same room and grass cutting / leaf blower occurred also really early right by our hotel window. We left early with a sour taste of our visit

I have been there many times but this time the beds seemed smaller and the room was not as clean. There were spots on the ceiling that looked like blood

while the property is clean and comfortable they should realize that perfumed sprays are not for everyone and that some people are allergic. I had to use my asthma medicine inhaler several times in order to sleep.

Decent stay for business travel!!!

Great value for money but a bit surprised with the $150 deposit at the checkin.

The main entry and the room were nice and clean. But the corridor was dirty with old carpet who would need replacement

This property has a lot of potential to be a great place. Unfortunately they are missing the mark on the rooms as they are basic, vs the price point of the hotel itself. Hotel offers a pool and hot tub, work room and Sauna. The water in the Hot tub needed to be changed, and there was no instructions on how to operate the tub, as it is residential grade, so there was more required then pressing a button. Sauna was closed and was being used as a storage closet for cleaing supplies. Couple little improvments and this place would be great !

Staff were friendly. Room and bathroom were clean. One thing they could easily improve is to leave 4 set of towels when they know the room is booked for a family of 4.

The room was dirty, and the coffee machine didn’t work. We went to the front desk and asked if someone could fix it while we were at breakfast. At the restaurant, the staff tried to seat us at the door because we didn’t have a reservation—even though it was 8 a.m. and the reserved tables were for much later, around 11 a.m. or 12 noon. They eventually gave us a different table, but we were repeatedly told we had to leave by 11 a.m. The food was cold and inedible, and the server only came back at the end of the meal. We had barely touched our plates, but she just took them away without asking if something was wrong or if we needed anything. When we returned to our room, it was full of dirt and small rocks left behind by the maintenance man, who had walked through the entire space with his shoes on. There were no towels at the pool or front desk. We were told someone would bring them to us, but after waiting a while, my husband—soaking wet—had to go get them himself. Even then, they only gave us two towels for three people. The front desk staff was consistently rude and unhelpful. We came here to enjoy ourselves, and while we did our best to make the most of it, the experience was extremely disappointing.

old timey type of hotel, staff could be abit more welcoming and the security deposit is the highest ive ever paid.

The property is really outdated. Although there is a gym, nothing works and the equipment is rusty and there are No weights. Pool table is in rough shape. Rooms were clean, just outdated and the mini fridge was in poor shape.

Location was great but the hotel itself is outdated and needs some Reno’s. We stayed on the main floor and our room was outdated. The bed was nice and comfortable but the rest was worn. The mini fridge was broken inside and didn’t hold very much and we couldn’t turn it up or down and things were freezing. Pool table downstairs was in rough shape. The gym was really old and the machines did not work and were rusty and there were no weights. Pool was nice but could use some paint. Hot tub was way too hot and there was no way to turn it down and there was lots of foam in the hot tub. Staff was friendly!

I didn’t like when we asked about breakfast in the morning.They should have told us that we should have booked a reservation so we couldn’t get in. Beside that the say was very nice . Thanks

Nice quiet location. Decent restaurant onsite. Comfortable beds and well appointed rooms.

The Prestige room was fabulous, very classy with great space, comfortable beds and quiet. We did have an issue with the shower door which was off its railings but it didn’t prevent us from showering. I would suggest that the staff explain how the spa works at check-in as it is unique setup.

We were attending a wedding at the venue and were trying to check in. The lady at the counter apologize for the fact that the regular person didn't show up and that she had never done check ins before and it might take some time. All of this in french. I am english. I had to get someone to translate. I realize that we were in Quebec, but there should be someone available to speak to patrons in English. Our room was clean but very cold and damp. It also smelled of incense. The beds were kinda lumpy and I didn't sleep very well and had a very sore back when I woke up. It wasn't the best stay at a hotel we have ever had.

We have stayed here several times in the past and, once again, everything was nice. The only thing that I will request the next time we stay there is for a shower with slip retardant since we are both elderly and need to be extra careful.

Beautiful area, great service

My A/C was broken. When is told the girl if it was normal, she told me "i don't know" and nothing else. I had to see my families room to see it wasn't and ask another room. She gave it to me but she should've help me more at first. Her attitude wasn't bad but wasn't great. She wasn't really friendly or helping by her own. She does what she needs and nothing more. Her tone was dull all the way. Also, in my second room, the hot tub in the shower wasn't clean properly. The hot tub jet was red and dirty and the bath was damaged and patch. The toilet chain was broken and i had to repair it everytime i flushed because of curse the girl upfront wasn't helping with the a/c so i did't dare to ask for the toilet, but it wasn't hard to do on my own. My light on the balcony was broken too. Finally on expedia it says there's an iron for clothes but there isn't (but the hotel should offer it.)

The menu at the restaurant has changed for the better. The facilities are about the best in Maniwaki. There is great walking along the river and into downtown if you want a longer walk.

Aucun bonjour, aucune mention de services offerts par l’hôtel, juste 2 serviettes pour 3 personnes (bien indiqué dans la réservation le nombre de personnes). On semblait la déranger, nous a rien dit à la fin, c’est moi qui lui a dit merci et bonne soirée.

I found it offensive to not have a cancellation policy. Reimbursement is never available. I found it offensive to have to pay a $100 deposit even if reimbursed at the end of the stay. The hotel could use some decorative updates. The gym needs yoga mats, weights and the mirror was dirty. The decorative pillows in the rooms were stained. Thank you to the security guard for letting me use the gym before opening hours. Thank you to reception for not charging us when we asked for checkout at 12 instead of 11.

The room was clean, linen super clean. Toilet bowl could have used some brushing. Shampoo and body lotion would be nice. Pretty hotel fromthe outside by the river.

The room was exceptionally clean. The king sized bed was very comfortable. The room was very comfortable and spacious. Front desk staff was friendly.

Everything was good till the end they kept my safty deposit of 100$ saying I smoked in my room which I did not. They didnt care if I said I did not and had proof That I didnt

The automatic lock to the door broke during the stay but another room was offered to us, which was only a minor inconvenience. Everything was fine otherwise. The room was very large. We were allowed to bring our bicycles into the room.

We love the coffee in the room, a lots of details that make you comfortable ... And with such a price!!! We are at the Bristol... The food was good the staff so kind and the price so good!

Hard to get a parking spot on hotel grounds due to many events. A parking lot for paid hotel guests should be adequately available at all time.

The Hotel is clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. The beds are comfortable. I reserved 2 identical rooms. One for 3 people and the other for 2 people .When we checked in they gave us the room for 3 people with one king size bed and towels for 3 people, Thanks god it was for my sister and her husband and 28 years old daughter. We switched rooms without a problem. A negative point is that there is no toiletries.

It was very clean and quiet. I feel like they need to keep going with the renovations. It has so much potential. It still has a bit of a 1990’s feel in some rooms with the old tv stand and headboards and bathroom. The empty tv stand seems unnecessary now. The bed was very comfortable! The restaurant was great - especially the breakfast. Great pizza and lovely staff there.

I was pleasantly surprised by how clean it was. It was our first trip there and we had no expectation at all. The room size was decent and the bed very comfortable. The inside pool was accessible from 6:30am to 11:30pm, it was warm and quite big. The hotel was very calm and the staff was helpful when we needed them. An all in all wonderful stay.
