Bonne endroit
Though the rooms are a bit dated, they are clean and comfortable. The staff at the hotel and restaurant are very friendly and helpful. We will return on our next trip to Maniwaki.
.
Great pool
Nice place to stay in Maniwaki
Great value for the money
Ok place butA/C was off and really hot in the room when we got there also the fridge was unplugged so we had to wait to cool before using.
I had 5 rooms booked. Of course I get the room that the AC doesn’t work
Generally just like this property
English was understood.
The resturant is overpriced for the food quality , but found other resturants close by , the pool was amazing , the jacuzzi big disappointment, the jets didnt work in them The sauna was a big disappointment too was shut down for repairs , The beds were very comfy , and the shower in bathroom were very nice too . The staff were very friendly
I booked a junior suite through Expedia and ended up with two queens and no couch on an anniversary after about 45 minutes of things being figured out. I received no notifications from Expedia or the hotel explaining the situation. We ended up paying the same amount as for a junior suite, no adjustments were made. I tried to contact Expedia but that proved impossible but I'm still trying. This is just a warning to others getting away for a special occasion not to expect much here.
Great place to stay!
Front desk service was friendly and helpful. Room clean, but outdated. Pool area large and bright with lots of seating, but the security guard was staring at people in a creepy way. Restaurant food and service was good, but can use more healthy options on the menu. Property is conveniently located on the main street close to amenities, and offers free parking.
Newly remodeled restaurant that was pretty good. This is a fairly busy hotel mostly for people on their way north or south. Over all I would say that this is on the better side of fair.
Everything was good, room and hotel was clean. The pool was fun and well entertained.
quiet place at night
Good stay
Pool area was excellent. Hotel was dated but very clean
Great location, clean rooms, awesome indoor pool & outdoor pool spa, great restaurant with delicious food, it was a wonderful stay..
Food at the restaurant and the staff was excellent
Wow, what a great place, if you want, you don't have to leave. Quite a few things to do. Pool, jacuzzi, bar, restaurant.
Room was beautiful, loved the bath
Comfortable and clean rooms. It’s my regular place to stay when I’m in the area.
Very friendly place and staff.
Great place to stay we had a issue with the room water leak and they changed us immediately great customer service and kind staff
Nothing to say negative . Great place for family and solo.
Was ok
The hotel was annexed to a great bar/restaurant. Pool and spa were awesome.
Le seul élément qui m'a déplus ce sont les taches multiples sur les tapis des chambres et des corridors
Parfait pour nos besoins
Pet friendly
The pictures on the website are nothing like the real thing. We booked a superior room so the middle of the other option. With that in mind I would not want to know what a comfort room looks like. We only had a stand up shower, the couch dated back to the 70's, the bed was the worse part squeeking and slanted. Very dissapointed for the price.
Worse night sleep, the bed was so hard it might have been comforter sleeping on the floor. The tv kept blinking a black screen. Hated you could only use the lobby doors to enter because they deactivated the other door to get into the building and when you are at the other end of the building it was an inconvenience.
It was OK nothing special just a place to sleep for the night. Staff seemed put out that we were bothering her.
Swimming pool and spa was great.
We loved the pool and spa areas, as well as the restaurant and bar, conveniently located within the hotel. In our room, the temperature could not be controlled - this could be improved.
Having access to the pool and spa was a nice add on to our stay.
Very good service
Great spot to go to with the side by sides, easily accessible from the trails.
Great location, friendly staff. Nice pool area. Excellent restaurant attached to hotel (Rabaska pub).
Was very clean when we came in , towels and bathrobes were also clean . Had 5 pillows and 2 blankets , best part was the jet tub being beside out in the open
Good value for your money and would recommend!!!!!
I am very impressed with all the services and amenities of the Hotel. Modern bar, lottery machines, restaurant. Clean and professional service by the smiling staff. Likewise at the reception of the Hotel. Courteous and friendly. I am equally impressed by the big comfy rooms & bed. Well furnished with fridge, coffee machine and other amenities. Well located just off the main road and in the heart or middle of Maniwaki. A smart choice for savvy travellers.
Our registration into the hotel was quick and efficient. Plenty of hand sanitizer. Rooms were clean, spacious, good lighting, coffee maker, bar fridge and excellent toiletries. Onsite restaurant with excellent food and service. Ample parking. Would go back again.
Had reserved a room with 2 queen sized beds only to find out they booked us into a different room with 2 doubles that were probably dated back to when this place opened, not a restful sleep. As well when I called about the room we where originally supposed to have, the receptionist said it was due to a leaky roof which seemed to also have occured in our room due to the large patch on the ceiling, another thing was the A/C which hardly was working. First stay and last one as well!!
Great service. Suite was clean. Bed a bit hard for my taste. Jaccuzi bath was amazing. Very quiet and peaceful.
This nice hotel is going through an upgrade so ask for a room on the third floor where the rooms, beds and air conditioning have been upgraded. Great location with a restaurant.
Everything was very clean, the room was spacious. Staff is very helpful and accomodating. Love the pool and spa, we used them a lot. The renovated restaurant was good too. The best in the area, none come close. I would recommend anytime.
The restaurant attached to the hotel is good. I didn't like the fact we can hear the people talking in the always. There's no insulation from the always noises.
All and all it was ok. I only spent the night so i didn’t have a chance to take full advantage of all the facilities the hotel had to offer.
Lower floor rooms are need of new mattresses. In room fridge compressor make so much noise that it needs to be turned off so you can sleep. Entrance door bangs against frame every time someone opens the main hallway fire door. Front desk and cleaning service are good. Limited hotel selection in Maniwaki.
The front desk lady was terrible.
Great stay, nice people, convenient location with restaurant downstairs. Carpet could use some cleaning and odd smell in the hallway, other than that excellent.
Really liked the lemongrass shower stuff. Staff were really excellent to deal with.
Room in front was very noisy from the smokers that party late on a Saturday night! We had the window open because it was a cool night for it !
We stay at this place every year and it has been recently renovated. They did a great job with the reno and would highly recommend this place.
Friendly helpful ( provided us access to their freezer for safe keeping of fish) . Decent restaurant and interesting bar which, as an unexpected bonus, provided live music for our enjoyment.
Property needs updating . Resto is amazing but not the rooms. Paper thin walls.
All was very good except the spa was not working but pool was warmish.
Had to stay in town to shop around for an appartment, so it was the best place for us. The adjoining restaurant is also very good with coupons for a discounted breakfast and also serve lunch and dinner with live music on week-ends. Clean rooms with fridge and coffe machine.
Our stay was clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful when we needed something. We really enjoyed the restaurant on site as the food was delicious for both dinner and breakfast.
The mural in our room was awesome! Our room was very spacious. The shower was very small, not a lot of room to move around.
I enjoyed the long hours that the pool was open. We also liked that the staff were easy going & allowed us to have fun during our stay!
Getting. Onnected to wifi was challenging and unreliable. Didn’t like that kids couldn’t use pool past 7pm
I was very surprised at the spaciousness and absolute cleanliness of the room. Overall, the hotel was very clean, the staff extremely pleasant and more quiet than I had expected. I was delighted with m stay and will not hesitate to stay there again next time I'm in Maniwaki.
It was a great comfortable room. The pool and hot tub were wonderful. You have spirits in the room (216) though. They kept waking my daughter up (taking her pillow, opening the curtains and being noisy in the room.
I stayed in this place for one night to stop on my way from Malartic to Gatineau. The staff is not sympathic at all. You have the feeling to disturb. I wanted to use the sauna but it was not hot, same for the steam sauna. I had to pay the bill at my arrival, strange, no? Breakfast is not included. There were a lot of noise from outside during the night. The only thing I loved was the exercise room.
Stayed two nights. In the center of town. Restaurant undergoing construction but was not an issue or an inconvenience. Rooms are dated. Cons: mattress not very comfortable; bathroom small; in room ventilation system loud. Pros: pillows plush and varied; house keeping good and thorough; Keurig in room; good cable TV package (English/French/sport channels); Adequate parking. Good WiFi speed and connection
Always stay here for the location but disappointed the restaurant was closed due to construction of it.
Spoke english well. Had a nice indoor pool. Simple straightforward room at a good price.
Staff was polite. The BIG problem is that the facility is supposed to be non-smoking. However, the room smelled so much of cigarettes that I had difficulty breathing and sleep was disrupted. I took pictures of the bath: it was full of stains made from cigarette butts .
Clean & nice. Good Restaurant !
Personnel were very good, friendly and polite. Place was really clean and newer. Very good restaurant in the same complex...
We had problems every single day of our stay with the room key. Each day, and sometimes several times that day, we had to go to the front desk to get new room keys. Most of the clerks were nice, but on Saturday the 16th, there was a young woman with long dark braids at the desk who was not pleasant. First I had to stand at the desk and wait for her because she was outside smoking. Then I went up and down the stairs 3 TIMES trying different keys. The 4th time she came with me and had to open the door with her master key. Next, we had an issue with towels. My elderly mother and I were booked in a double room with two towels. I asked at the front desk if we could have two extra towels. I was given the towels, but the desk clerk told me that we should only be using one towel each. The next day, after maid service came in, and even though we hung up our towels to be used again, the towels were replaced and we were back to just two towels. Once again, I asked for more towels at the front desk, and later we found just one extra towel. And, finally, we paid full price for our room only to check in and find a hand-written note on the front door of the hotel saying that the pool and spa were all closed until 6/20, the day AFTER we were scheduled to check out.
The biggest disappointment was the hot tub and pool. During a two day stay the water heater worked half the time.
Hotel was incredibly clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. Food at restaurant was very good and service was excellent. We do not speak French and that was absolutely no problem. Would highly recommend this hotel.
good hotel
Stay was good, clean room although the bed was super hard.
Due to the change in management the quality in service and attention to cleanliness is lacking greatly I would not recommend it at this time. The service in the restaurant was not up to the usual standard for which it was known to have.
SORRY I CAN NOT LIE WHEN I SUBMIT. CAN NOT MISLEAD YOUR CUSTOMERS. WHAT WAS SUBMITTED WAS ACCURATE FROM THE SERVICE AND THE ROOM I RECEIVED. ALSO REMEMBER THEY HAND THERE BUSINESS CARD FOR US TO CALL DIRECTLY, THERFORE CAN OFFER EXTRA SERVICES AND BETTER DEAL..I WILL START DOING THIS PROCESS WITH OTHER EXPEDIA BOOKINGS,MAYBE OTHER HOTEL WILL DO THE SAME ONCE I GET YOUR PRICE THANKS.
This is a very basic 2 star hotel but its the only place in town tostay.
set up of room very good... quiet hotel even with a lot of ppl in
Great
Best place if you are visiting in the area or just snowmobiling. Good breakfast but very busy place. Clean and comfortable, we were on the 3rd floor not as much traffic + had elevator. Breakfast is included. 1st floor is way too busy, had friends staying there, because the restaurant + bar + laundry room are on the 1st floor, it could be noisy.
The hotel is nice, they have a couple of rooms with gambling/bar/food. I found the continental breakfast set-up to be a little awkward to find and also to fit our group of eight together becasuse the rooms were small. As the title says, the hotel was busy during out stay so the service was slow in the morning. There wasn't a great place to park our sleds, we basically has to leave them in and amongst the cars in the parking lot. There always seemed to be people hanging around in outside so I would have preferred a lock-up area for our sleds. The trail does go right to the hotel which is handy.
We were very satisfied with our stay at Auberge du Draveur. Noise level very low. Rooms are very clean and very comfortable. Close to everything.
I tried this spot for a regular visit to clients. Very pleasantly surprised. Nice staff, clean and comfortable. Best! ... they have deal and breakfast is included. A REAL BREAKFAST. Just make sure you ask for a room not on the ground floor. The hotel is 100% non-smoking now, but the ground floor still smells like the motels of yesteryear.
Although signs say no smoking everywhere, the entire floor and the room have a nauseating stale smoke smell. The bathroom was so small you couldn't even turn around in it and there were cigarette burns in the tub enamel. The bathroom sink was outside the bathroom in the room. The walls are paper thin and we could hear everyone in the hall and were woken up by people talking in the halls in the night. The hotel has wifi, but it cuts in and out and at times you can't get on it. It was way overpriced for the quality. The hotel is like a cheap roadside motel. The staff were friendly and the restaurant servers very pleasant. However, I wouldn't stay at this hotel again. Very disappointed.
Stayed here one night - the place was wonderful. Spacious room with two large, comfy beds. Good heat/ac unit, and a window that opens! Clean, clean, clean. Coffee maker and fridge in room. Rate was quite reasonable ($115) and if you phone the hotel directly instead of booking through an on-line site, they will give you a voucher for a free breakfast in their restaurant. Fabulous breakfast (4 choices.) Saw many motorcyclists staying here, too. Indoor pool that I didn't visit. Friendly staff. Free Wifi didn't even have a password - it just works once you select their server!! Italian restaurant right next door. I opted for takeout Chinese up the road - delicious! This place has it all!
We enjoyed our stay! Very clean and everyone friendly!
-clean rooms -comfy beds -great food in the restaurant and they have a big pool and a indoor and outdoor hot tub were the kids love to swim -staff is always kind and willing to help out. and they have a huge parking and tractor trailers can park to
We really enjoyed our stay, everyone is friendly and the owner Gilles is a very nice guy always have a great time when we stay there. Will be back :)
We stayed here for one night on a motorcycle trip through Quebec. We arrived at 9:30 pm and were quickly checked in. They had an electric security cable that you loop through your bikes and plug into special outlets outside that were very near the front entrance. It worked as an alarm system so if anyone unplugged the cord an alarm would sound at the front desk. A nice bonus! We ate at the restaurant and the meal was fantastic, quite tasty. The rooms were large and comfortable. We received a breakfast voucher each and the meal was great. I would highly recommend this hotel and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
The front end staff were excellent!
We spent our wedding night here with the jacuzzi suite. You pay $185.00 per night for the suite. The room was clean but we had trouble with the heater. The AC was on in the middle of October? The room was cold and so was outside. The bathroom is very small and so was the shower. The jacuzzi was small too. The water was yellow? Looked like we were bathing in pee. In the bedroom there was cobb webs in corner. I'm a housekeeper myself and boy...the husband noticed it. It's very quiet. Courteous staff. The decor is outdated yes. We had a great breakfast at their restaurant.
I would like to commend the staff on accomodating the language. It was so nice to know that there was no barrier of understanding our obvious French speaking staff. I was very impressed that they made our stay very welcome. We know very little French so thank goodness we didn't have to rely on it. lol If we travel that way again we will definitely know where to stay. Mr. and Mrs. Blain Waterdown. On sp
I booked this room in Manawaki because it was about half way to our final fishing camp destination in northern Quebec. My brother and I were quite surprised to find such a lovely hotel this far away from a major city. The room was very comfortable with twin beds and a large screen TV. the shower is wonderful. Even better, there is a full service bar and restaurant located within the building. We enjoyed a late dinner with a few drinks, and a hearty breakfast in the morning before continuing our trip. We very much look forward to staying here again on our next fishing trip in Quebec.
After a very long drive, we pulled in to a sanctuary! A friendly staff and comfortable room awaited us, as well as a delicous dinner. Would highly recommend staying here!
