I stayed at Moon Dreams Coral Beach hotel for 2 weeks in August 2025, and to say we were disappointed is an understatement. To start, the whole resort had a foul smell that was inescapable. It smelt like sewage all around the pool, and came in random wafts throughout the day and night - it was unbearable. To add to this, there was a crazy amount of wasps. The pool was also extremely deep - 2 meters in most places, and so neither children or adults could stand up in the main area of the pool, meaning the children’s area was crowded. This problem was made worse by the fact pool floaties were banned. Additionally, there was an awkward ledge on the pool meaning jumping in the pool was both difficult and dangerous. The palm trees around the pool also meant that no sunbed had sun all day, and you often had to move sunbeds. The shade over the pool and sunbeds also meant the pool was freezing cold. The sunbeds were extremely uncomfortable, especially for my mum who had fallen in the shower at the start of the trip. The sunbeds also didn’t go fully down which was very annoying. There was a snack bar close to the pool, however the chef was often not there, and when he was, the queue was very long, meaning you could be waiting up to 15 mins for your food. The chips were often undercooked both at the snack bar and in the buffet. The food in the buffet was shocking. The food never changed, and there was little choice. The food that was there had little flavour. The was such a lack of choice for food that my family ate out for tea 9 /14 of the nights we stayed, despite coming all inclusive. The breakfast was terrible! The pancakes took forever to cook, and when they were served they were almost raw, and looks anemic. There was no apple juice at breakfast, and most food was gone instantly, leaving you with just fruit which was ALWAYS hard and bitter. The bar also looses its all inclusive at 11PM, meaning you have to pay. The drinks at the pool bar and all the other bars tasted cheap, like medicine. Although it was nice that they had icelollys during the day and chocolate milk at night, the alcohol served was disgusting. We ended up buying our drinks from the local spar as the drinks we were served made us feel sick. There is terrible service across the hotel aswell. Our rooms were another level of disappointment. To start, we checked in as a family of 6 with two rooms. One room was significantly larger, yet still only just fit three of us. The other room was tiny, the beds were squished together like charlie and the chocolate factory, and in order to fit us all in they had taken some of our furniture out. As all three of us were squished together, our room got very hot very fast, and the air conditioning irritated our chest - yes this is no fault of the hotel. However, after complaining to reception about our small room, they upgraded us to a bigger room, which they promised would be bigger, however it was not! We knew this as we counted the tiles. The room was the exact same size. It took another night for this problem to be fixed, that shouldn’t had ever been a problem since we booked a room for three people to begin with. Our bathroom tap was also really dirty, the underneath was GRIM. And from the vent in our bathroom we could clearly hear the exact conversations of our neighbours. Despite this, the cleaners and bar staff were delightful. On our holiday, we were given dirty cups multiple times, and once even given a dirty towel. The surrounding area of the hotel is lovely, there are nice beaches and restaurants, and a good spar, however this hotel was a disappointment.
The hotel is lovely. The staff are exceptional. Happy, friendly and so caring and helpful. Spotlessly clean everywhere. Food and drink - there is something for everyone. The rooms are basic but are spacious and agin, spotlessly clean. Our balcony overlooked the pool and we could see the sea. You can rent a kettle and the safe in your room. The skies during sunrise and sunset were beyond beautiful. It’s minutes to walk to the main area of Ed Cana, which is safe and lots there for a small resort. The beach is about 2 minutes walk away and there is a supermarket opposite. We would return in a heartbeat!
This was our first time going to Ibiza, and was booked through OnTheBeach. I really cannot see where this hotel comes in as a 3***. I understand it is near the end of the season, but for those that are time limited on when they can go on holiday, surely the hotel(s) need to rely on people like us to keep them going in the slower period? If you arrive after the bar has closed, you have no access to tea or coffee or cold water, unless you want to pay €3.60 for a bottle at the vending machine. There are no tea/coffee facilities available in the rooms, these must be hired, but there is also no fridge, although they can hire you one for €50 a week. (anything hired MUST be paid in CASH..) The hotel was Clean and presentable, and the room was nice and large (accessible/disabled room) booked, but that’s where it starts to fall apart. The bathroom was very dated, and needs more lighting, with it being very dark once the shower curtain is pulled around, and also in the corner where the toilet is. The shower whilst adequate, will also without warning, scald you for a couple of seconds then go back to normal, and the shower head was VERY rusty and covered in limescale, and the drain had a lot of clogged hair in it. The main room the ceiling has what can only be described as thin metal slats that are not fixed down, and if you open the balcony door and there is any slight wind, these constantly rattle and crash. Any outside wind howls through the balcony doors where the seals are no longer sealing. The hotel room doors need soft closing mechanism’s as they just slam (although that might be because they don’t always close properly without slamming them) The hotel only has 2 small lifts for too many people and rooms, considering most people need to use them at around the same time each day for the restaurant. (one was out of use for 2-3 days) We also enquired about hiring a mobility scooter. The hotel emailed back to say they can arrange for €125 when I went to the desk on Saturday to book it, the price had gone up to €130 but when it was delivered and the hotel called me, despite an assurance of one as requested, conveniently there was no receipt available, and the price was €140. (also to be paid in cash only) I refused and was allowed to keep it for €130. The food is the main let down of this holiday (I have stayed at many 3* hotels) The food was never hot, even if you were the first into the restaurant, the trays would come out and be put in the bain-maries (which were not even on most of the time) and it was cold or lukewarm if you were lucky. The breakfast was identical each day, and not very warm, but the sausages were terrible, just tasted of breadcrumbs and pepper, not any taste of meat. Lunch and dinner were both pretty similar, in that nothing was really hot, potato wise you have to put up with chips (cold) at every meal, I think there was only 1 other day, they had another potato product (as well as chips) The pasta and associated sauces were cold, the meats on offer were normally ok, but once again only luke warm, and if in any form of sauce, over salted. There was also pizza every day, but the base of it was rock solid. The saving grace for food was the snack bar, Although it is repetitive, at least the stuff is cooked to order so is hot, the only downside, is that the cook/server would decide to just walk off and close up whenever he felt like it, at one point I had to ask the barman to find him, as I had been standing there for 15 mins.. (supposed to be open from 12 – 6 daily) So, in short regarding food, considering we paid all inclusive, instead of having 3 meals a day at the hotel, we would skip breakfast (boring, cold and tasteless after 2 days) – Skip lunch mostly for the same reason, have a burger and chips, or toasted sandwich from the snack bar, then 4 nights of 7 go out for food in the evening. Therefore using money we had put aside for other things, like excursions etc. The drinks were not really much better, the lager is well – lager, the spirits were what you expect, but the mixers were terrible, constantly had no flavour to them, just tasting like soda water. The sangria at the bar, was totally different to the sangria in the restaurant as well?? Luckily for us, just a few minutes walk away is popeyes bar and restaurant which we used for our evening meals and entertainment, along with many others from the hotel that all had the same complaints about the food. Es Canar was a lovely area, with some lovely beaches and sea front, and I would come back anytime, but just not to this hotel. Also outside pool bar was closed (understand out of season) but notices up saying no entry to hotel if wet, well how are you meant to get drinks or food from the bar/snack bar?? Most of the staff were lovely, but also spent a lot of time on their phones, especially the lifeguard (when he was there)
We hadn't been to Ibiza in years and chose Es Canar as it's small but has a good bus service to Santa Eulalia, which means you can get to anywhere on the island. Es Canar hasn't changed much over the years, and still has many of the same cafes, bars and restaurants, but now has a pedestrianised section from the bus station and along the sea front, massively improving the town - this means you can enjoy a stroll along the bay, take in the fantastic view or stop for a beer or a coffee, and it was more relaxing. As it was the end of the season it was fairly quiet, but still busy enough that most places were open, the Hippy Market was on, the glass bottom boat still running etc. The hotel is on the northern side of the bay, a short walk to the sea front, and between a few other hotels and apartment complexes. A short walk up the road takes you to a fairly new cliff side pathway (I remember scrambling over cliffs there years ago) that takes you back round in front of the various hotels in a loop - unfortunately there isn't a seafront path all the way into the main part of town, and you'd have to walk over the beaches which were full of piles of rotting seaweed - probably washed up due to the severe storms a few days before we arrived. The hotel itself is well presented from the outside, it has steps and a ramp at the front, onto a large reception area that is clean and well maintained - be aware of the local tourist tax (around 34 euros for 2 adults for 7 nights), and that rooms don't have any tea/coffee making facilities or fridges, you have to rent these (a fridge is €50 a week). If you can fit it in, I recommend buying a cheap Argos travel kettle to take with you, plus tea bags and coffee, as the tea and coffee from the hotel machines is awful. I've seen comments that there's no disabled toilet on the ground floor - there is, but it's hidden! It's at the side of the water vending machine and you have to get the key from the reception staff. Our room was an accessible room with 3 beds (one bed was placed so the door didn't fully open, not great for accessibility! We had to move that first). The room was clean and tidy and spacious, with a good size balcony, but had a view of the road outside, but it wasn't too bad as there were plenty of trees either side due to a large woodland area. As it was right above the hotel reception, and opposite the lifts and stairs, it was really noisy, especially when the bar closed or groups came back from a night out, with shouting, singing, doors banging etc. The bathroom was ok - a bit dated, could have done with a deeper clean, and only had 2 down lights above the sink, no lighting for the shower or toilet. The sink was meant to be height adjustable but wouldn't budge, and there wasn't anywhere for toiletries. We did have 2 good sized wardrobes and a dresser unit. The TV is locked in Hotel mode, so you can't use the HDMI ports and are limited to a handful of channels, mainly Spanish and German, with BBC2, ITV2, More 4, Drama and CBBC. WiFi was pretty good throughout the hotel. Staff were really friendly and helpful throughout our holiday, they're a credit to the hotel. The pool area is a decent size, with plenty of loungers and chairs. As it was the middle of October, the water is cold, but ok for kids and the adventurous, and there's an infants area with a paddling pool type area (hidden near there are some toilets and a disabled toilet too) Now to the bad. The food. Honestly, I'm not a fussy eater, but I do know basic food safety, and I do have limits. Breakfast was OK - decent selection of cold and cooked (notice I haven't said hot) options like cereal, yoghurt, plus toasters for the bread, bread, bread rolls, croissants etc, jam and butter (butter is only available at breakfast, lunch and dinner you only get a choice of awful margarine). For those that like a Full English, the Bacon was OK, tomatoes are tomatoes, beans weren't the worst I've had, fried eggs and omelettes were generally freshly cooked and hot, scrambled egg was fine, no idea what they do to make the mushrooms but it should be a crime against humanity..., and the sausages are probably the worst I've ever had - it's just that everything was cold. Lunch and dinner both have salad available with cheap sliced ham and cheeses, soup (like the worst cup-a-soup you can imagine but it was warm), several main dishes with the occasional gem hidden amongst the cold, tough, overcooked meats - the braised pig cheeks were surprisingly good, generally some potatoes or rice (both cold, which is a food safety risk with rice), various vegetables etc, plus undercooked, cold chips, cold pasta, cold pasta sauces, occasionally warm and often rock hard pizza. Dinner has a different International theme each night. If you don't eat these dishes, you are SOOL and are stuck with the salad, cold pasta, chips etc. The mexican night was a particularly low point, with the Chilli Con Carne being massively salty (and I like salt) and beef mince that's like the stuff they used to scrape off bones for Turkey Twizzlers in the 80s - it was disgusting. We ended up either eating out for most lunches and dinners, or having something from the snack bar, which was at least hot and fairly decent (if it opened on time or stayed open - it could just shut while you were in the queue at 4pm...) We ended up spending over £150 eating out because one of us or both couldn't or wouldn't eat any of the food available. We arrived on the Tuesday, they finally turned the warmers on for the food cabinets on Sunday after Jet2 came round (TUI have pulled out and Jet2 are taking over providing holidays there) and the bosses were about. Drinks are OK. Estrella is Estrella, and it was cold and plentiful. The cocktails might be your thing, but we didn't like them (the Margarita wasn't terrible, but tasted mainly of cheap like cordial). The Whisky Cream (cheap version of Baileys) is pretty good and lots of people seemed to be drinking that too - they were going through gallons of it at the bar. There's also red and white wine and a passable Sangria, and various cheap versions of spirits that taste ok after the first 4 or 5. Soft drinks, there's Pepsi and Pepsi Max, Kas Lemon and Kas Orange and a couple others I can't remember. The Kas stuff didn't seem as good as I remember, but the pepsi was usually OK, but from the bar it often tasted like there was too much soda water in it - in the restaurant it was fine. The entertainment was OK, but we don't have kids and they would have been bored as I didn't see anything for them. I'd recommend going to Popeye's bar just down the road for their entertainment (doesn't start until 10pm though) or Charlies Bar (again, 10pm start) for better entertainment, and Popeye's is good for food - I think half the hotel was going there for something decent to eat, or to the Chinese that does a decent deal at €14.50 for a selection from the limited menu, and also has a reasonably priced general menu. It's such a shame that the food isn't better, and hot, as it would make the holiday much better - just taking care to cook things properly, server them warm and keep them warm, and use better quality ingredients in some of the dishes is all it needs, and it would only be a minimal cost increase for them. I've never complained before, but this was bad. If you are happy to eat out for half of your holiday and get it cheap enough then it's not too bad, but if you can afford to pay a bit more for somewhere with better food then do it.
The staff are very friendly, there’s enough choice of food and drinks. The pool is good enough if not busy but the trees block out the sun round the pool at certain times a day. The hotel is spoiler by its paper thin walls and could definitely do with some slow closures added to the rooms entry door. Every time someone enters and leaves their rooms the whole hotel knows about it. Unfortunately we had a view of the car park from our balcony so not the best. And I didn’t get a pre warning for the charge the hotel was gonna lay on us on arrival who knew a visiting tax wouldn’t come in the booking as standard. This ate into a chunk of our spending money. Bring ear plugs if you want to achieve a good nights sleep.
Yesterday we returned from a three night stay in this hotel, for the 3rd year! We have done the same weekend 3 times and it has still never failed us! Such an amazing place to stay, friendly and attentive staff, especially Ana from the entertainments team, she was so friendly and made sure everyone was included in each activity! We took part in Rifle shooting on Saturday and darts on Friday, which I was the by the way🤪 You can just tell how lovely the place is, and we met and chatted to so many lovely people of all different generations! Rooms were spotless, the maids came every day and did an excellent job, and the pool side, bar and restaurant was clean too! Food was amazing as always, always something for everyone to choose from, whether you like to try new things or can be a picky eater. There was also the snack bar, which was lovely and amazing food, from burgers and hotdogs, to toasties and chips. Drinks were lovely, I enjoyed the tequila sunrise, which unfortunately the hotel had run out of grenadine to add to the cocktail, but this was not a problem for me. I did find however the strawberry daiquiri was a little watered down and tasted a bit like strawberry flavoured water. However my only issue with the place this year was the pool bar not being open, but again it wasn’t a huge problem as the bar inside was always open! Lovely place to stay, and will 1000% be returning!
Stayed here for 4 nights in October so was nearly the end of the season. Pros: -Friendly staff and warm welcome on Reception. -Excellent location for the beach and shops -Clean room -Lots of sun beds available throughout the day so no need to get up early and reserve -Selection of drinks on All Inclusive menu. -Daytime snacks of burgers, hot dogs, chips, ice creams etc available on All Inclusive Cons: -No daytime entertainment. Tui did ring and email us to warn us of this before arrival. There were lots of people complaining about this but as we were notified in advance it didn’t bother us. I believe there was still night time entertainment but we were always out so didn’t see it. There is nightlife in town (less than 5 minute walk) if you want it. -Food is very repetitive but as expected for a 3* hotel. Heard lots of people complaining about it but we always found something to eat and never went hungry. We chose to eat out sometimes but this was our choice. Overall it was as expected for a 3* hotel. Don’t expect a 5* hotel for the price of a 3* and you will have a great time.
The main thing to watch out for is, if you are looking at this hotel for an all Inclusive holiday, you will loose your wristbands on checking out your room at 11am, so all food and drink after this time will have to be paid for, beware. On first Impression it looks okay, after negotiating the very small lifts with 2 full size suitcases and a wheelchair, which was two separate journeys. We get to our room, decor very tired, in need of some work. We were put in the front of the hotel, can be noisy with coaches and lorries turning and the beep, beep, beeping while reversing. Food was much the same for the meals, it did vary a bit but not too much. There's a snack bar, 10am to 6pm, that serves good food. Although it's a set menu, day in day out. Entertainment was non existence, 2 nights only for our week stay. This was the last week of September, but expected more for the money you paid for your holiday. All the staff are very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The wristbands are good in respect of it opens your room door, so no searching for key cards, it's on your wrist. There's a bus stop close by, the L24, but for other buses from Es Cana it's a 10 minute walk to town. If we were to return to Es Cana, we wouldn't stay here again.
It was clean and the staff very helpful/friendly. Food cold, tasteless and repetitive, entertainment as paid for and expected didn't happen. I wouldn't go again
The location as amazing. Could go into Es Canar in a couple of minutes walk, where there were some amazing bars and restaurants. Rooms were very basic and dated but they were cleaned/changed regularly. The air-con wasn't very good though. Very weak!! The food was repetitive and not the best quality but again, for 3 star, it was good. The entertainment team really tried their best and worked long hours. The visiting entertainment was the same both weeks we were there but again, not amazing but they did their best. If there were any issues especially with the room, they were dealt with very quickly and professionally (we had issues with our safe and the electric 'tripped' a few times) Down sides!! The lifeguard/s!! They sit under a parasol, between the pools bit not near either , on their phones!! I saw one, one day, walk around and actually look at the pool but that was it!! A few collected glasses!! But twice, I saw parents have to pull their own children from the pool. This is due to pool being very shallow but gets deep, very quickly and there's no notices warning of this. It caught a few people out. The other was the guests. I know the hotel can not control them but the mess they left at the poolside was disgusting. Food left on plates, drinks in plastic glasses, just left and over night!! For what we paid, for where we went, for what we got and when we went, we couldn't complain!! On the whole, we had a lovely holiday and would definitely return to Ibiza.
Waar ik slaapte , te veel last van afval oppikken,en lossen goederen ,van 4 uur
Hotel is spotless as was our room. Staff are friendly and location is great. Few minutes to a beach but a nicer one is 5 min walk away. The food is above average with a good selection offered each day. The eggs at breakfast were not the best, slow to be cooked and there was always a queue. The restaurant was very busy at times, and staff worked hard and were constantly manning the tables and sevice stations. (A microwave should be provided, as quite often food was cold). Drinks were ok, we mostly stuck to beer and wine, and found the coke to be ok. Music round the pool was great for us and entertainment team tried their best to get folks involved in different activities during the day. Entertainment at night was not great, but we always went out for a couple of drinks to end the night. Pool was lovely and 0 sunbed wars! How refreshing! All in all a great week to celebrate where we started 40 years ago!!! We would definitely recommend this hotel. Also, get the bus from the airport to just outside the hotel for €4each. Great way to enjoy the sights
Currently at Moon Dreams Coral Beach for a week B&B. Breakfast: chaotic, by the time you find a table your food is cold. Staff can't be bothered to help. Pool: Pool area very 'tired' needs a serious update, beds are old and very uncomfortable pool needs a good clean, more people may use the pool area if the loud obnoxious music was turned down. Bar/Drinks: Watered down spirits and beer in my opinion, probably to cater for the all inclusive guests. Room: The room was good, spacious and very comfortable beds, English TV channels don't all work. Parking: If you hire a car forget this hotel. Absolutely nowhere to park, we drove around for an hour every night looking, book the Caribe . In summary, even though this hotel is only 3 star it needs a serious upgrade, I would not stay again.
The hotel was OK. That’s about as much as you can say. Basic but ok. Would probably not go back unless it was an absolute bargain. Room was clean apart from the shower curtain which had some very suspicious stains and the whole bathroom needed some attention, mouldy grout and calcium deposits on taps etc. beds were comfy but only a sheet given and it was a little chilly in the night. Pool was ok but no walk in section or easy access for little ones. Kids pool tiny but ok for babies small toddlers. No floats allowed when a certain life guard was on duty 🙄 but the weekend one didn’t mind. Snack bar nice food but same every day nuggets burger hot dog salads. The restaurant was same same same!! I have never been to such a boring All Inc ! No variety! Same stuff every day. Same cheeses same salad same bread same breakfast items same puddings every day for lunch and dinner! Food is Cold very quickly, by day 2 we put a tiny amount of things on our plates to try temp before getting more and stuff isnt replenished enough. We waited 1/2 hr for the paella to be replenished after it was all gone in first 15 mins and it wasn’t replenished and that was the main dish for that meal so we went to snack bar instead. Fried chicken I’m sure was being fried since breakfast it was so tough. Odd combos like Yorkshires on American nt. kids section wasn’t great, pasta, nuggets or very pale uncooked looking hotdog sausages and some sandwiches with dried bread as been out too long, again same most nights and cold chips. It was the worse food variety I’ve ever come across and I’ve been to many All Inc hotels.
Second time at the hotel. Stayed in May half term and I would say this hotel still marks good value for money for what you pay. We took a free upgrade to a 'duluxe' room that was offered by our tour company. The advantage of this was slightly more modern decor and a pool view room. Counter-intuitively this is quieter than the the road side room we had last year so might be worth paying for if you are a light sleeper. The bathroom was no different to the one we had last year. Room spotlessly clean and cleaned every day. Toiletries are provided in big wall mounted packs. No fridge. The food is not to everyone's taste and we heard endless complaints. For us there was always something to eat! Breakfast excellent. Always fresh bread, cheese and fruit at every meal. More dessert selection this year. For what you pay they do a good job to produce a selection of choices. The hotel has had a couple of improvements to meet last year's complaints. They no longer charge for a cup. The bars have all had pump action spirits installed which should make service quicker. That said I have not experienced the queues others complained about! All the sunbeds have been replaced. Happily they have kept the ice creams behind the bar! The location of this hotel is really good with the promenade (turn right out of front door, go up and right) and the beach (straight across road, turn right after the hotel) and the town centre within easy walking distance. Good running routes. If the price continued to be right I would go back a third time for a quiet, restful week.
Great property with food inluded in stay
Just home from a week at Coral Beach, Moon Dreams Hotel, we went as a family of 5 adults and 2 children. I would say that this is an average, no frills budget hotel, but if you're looking for somewhere that caters well for children and is family friendly I would recommend. Our 5 year old Grandson had a great time. Rooms were dated, but clean, and having the room key in a chip on your wristband was a bonus. There was a good variety of food on offer, but not much choice if you are Gluten free, but they did provide warm gluten free rolls at breakfast. Burgers, chips and hot dogs were available at the poolside all day. The hotel was well located, with a mini market close by, beach a few mins walk and bars and restaurants in close proximity. The TUI reps were very friendly and Julie sorted us out for a round the Island tour, which I would recommend. All in all, this was good for a family break, if you're on a budget.
Hi we are thinking of staying at this hotel, Can you rent out a fridge for your room? Also is the main pool in the shade all day? What is the All Inclusive drinks like? Thank you
For what we paid for this holiday....what's not to like?! Taxi from the airport was 50 Euros and took just under 40 mins. Check in was smooth and efficient. The room keys are built in to the AI bands so makes it really convenient not having to constantly look for the key. Room was perfectly fine. 3 nice big beds and an old but serviceable shower plus a bath with is a bonus with kids. Air con was on but could be improved. A fridge would have been ideal but no such luck! Staff were always very smiley and friendly. Entertainment staff were great with the kids and always encouraging them to join in. Drinks were as you'd expect from a 3*. Cold beers and lots of other choice. Ice Lollies & ice creams included too which was a bonus! Food hall was absolute chaos!! We avoided this at lunchtime and just had something from the snack bar (2 visits a day is enough for anyone!) The food itself was fine! We are vegetarian and there was always plenty of choice. Desserts were nice too. We sat by the kids pool everyday and it was so peaceful and gets full sun all day unlike the main pool. Beach is a few minutes walk with a few small bars. 3 or 4 shops/mini markets within a minute or two. They also provide beach towels for a small refundable deposit. We didn't stay up for the entertainment as it didn't start until 21.30. Also it's inside with no vibe which was disappointing as they have an outdoor stage....why not use it?? All in all I would recommend this hotel for anyone wanting a no frills cheap week in the sun!
Firstly I would like to say the staff work really hard and are friendly and helpful. The hotel is very clean and well maintained. The food is average for a 3* all inclusive. In my opinion the bedroom and bathrooms need updating. I found it really naughty that your wrist bands are cut off on the last day - I've never heard of this before and it's really unfair. Good location, Overall a nice hotel for a 3*
We stayed here as a family of 8. We had a very enjoyable stay. The location is great very close to the beach, shops and bars. The cleaners were very attentive and cleaned our room everyday and replenished our towels everyday also. The food was what you would expect for a 3* all inclusive hotel. It wasn’t brilliant but it wasn’t terrible. There was always something to eat even on the nights when they ran different theme nights. ( Mexican, Italian, American & Spanish). The entertainment that we saw was good. The entertainment staff work extremely hard especially in the heat! The magician was absolutely fantastic! Overall I would recommend the hotel and would return in the future.
The worst hotel I've ever been to. The hotel is in need of a total renovation! It looks like a student dormitory! Plaster is falling on us from the ceiling of our terrace in room 114. In 7 days, they changed our towels once and instead of 3, they left us two bath towels. It's very difficult to say that the room was cleaned. When you take off your shoes barefoot, all kinds of rubbish stick to your feet. The legs of the bed are dirty, there are stains from spilled chocolate and coffee. The toilet bowl is wobbly and everything is cracked and the silicone has dried up. The bathtub is so small - child's size, that you can't stretch your legs. I am disabled and bathe on a bath chair and it was terribly difficult for me to bathe. The socket next to the single bed was pulled out of the wall, which is dangerous because you might get electrocuted. The lamp on the terrace is burnt out and there is no one to replace it. In the evening, they are playing a match on the hotel's field until 1 at night and you can't sleep. This is the first time I've seen such a hotel where they don't use vacuum cleaners, but sweep with a broom. The maids wash the floor with some kind of detergent, the tiles on the floor and when it gets wet it's terribly slippery, I'm on two crutches and I slipped several times and almost fell. The hotel's website says that it is accessible for the disabled, but this is not true. On the last day we had to vacate the room at 11 am and wait until midnight for a bus to the airport, during these 13 hours I had to go to the toilet, next to the children's pool there is only a disabled one. In the lobby of the hotel the toilet is on the ground floor with a lot of stairs and there is no railing on both sides to hold on to. The food is generally terrible, as if they cook for a hospital without any spices and salt - tasteless. The breakfast is absolutely monotonous, the same every morning. There is pancake machine, where you have to wait 30-40 minutes for 5 mini pancakes of 20 grams each. Lunch was even worse than breakfast. French fries, rice and raw meat. The cook at the barbecue can't cope and doesn't cook the meat. Dinner is even worse than lunch, the only good thing was the desserts. There was a variety of creams, cakes and rolls. The soft drinks are quite diluted. They fill your glass with ice and pour you about 0.150 ml of Pepsi. The ice cream they give you at the pool bar is complete garbage. By the time you take it to the table, it has runny, full of water, there are ice crystals in it. But the most offensive thing is that every time you enter the restaurant, there is a woman with lists and looks at you like you are a criminal and doesn't let you into the restaurant until you say which room you are from. On the last day they provide a room for showering for 20 minutes requires three people to shower, which is almost impossible. My son tried to explain to the manager that I am disabled and it is difficult for me to shower in 7 minutes, but she behaved so arrogantly and told us in plain language "You are not welcome here" and "You will play by our rules". I am also very disappointed with the Tui representative Julie, who we had asked to keep our room until 6pm because I am disabled to which she replied "Everyone here is disabled, there is nothing I can do". Do not go to this hotel, I paid 3000 pounds for this terrible holiday and I was looking forward to going home. And if you are up early, you will not be able to drink coffee and tea before the restaurant opens because there is no machine anywhere in the lobby, which has never happened to me in any hotel before. I will never book this hotel again.
We haven't been to this hotel since 2017 and we love es cana so decided to come back as we are familiar with this hotel. There have been some improvements in the decor, still basic, but better and very clean. The greatest improvement was the pool area, loads of sunbeds, loads of parasols and no silly queuing for sunbeds, it was very chilled as there were plenty of beds and room. The pool is a bit deep, no issue for us as our son, aged 10 is competent, but be aware the shallow end isn't very big if your kids can't swim. There is a little baby pool too though. The cleaners do an excellent job, our room was cleaned every day and we had new towels everyday!! Reception staff were really friendly and helpful. Dining room staff were great and worked really hard, friendly enough. Most of the bar staff were 'ok' but there were a few of the younger bar staff (not all) that were just plain rude and only spoke nicely to young females or other Spanish guests. In my opinion this let's the hotel down a lot and its a real shame, some of them had zero manners and zero customer service skills towards some guests. The hotel is in a great location near the beach and near to shops and restaurants. The food was ok, but not great, there was definitely more choice in our previous stays here. The dining room was busiest at breakfast and was slightly chaotic but that is probably more to do with the guests, and no fault of the hotels. To summarise I would say it offered decent value for money, I would return, but I really think some of the younger bar staff let this place down quite a lot.
A Tui family holiday with the grandkids. Mid buget Hotel in a nice location. Two nice beaches in walking distance. Shops ,Bars and Restaurants all in walking distance. Nice clean hotel, plenty of Sunbeds available. We wandered down after breakfast around 10.00 and always found beds. Tui reps excellent, nothing to much trouble. Food was plentiful in the restaurant and the Fast food bistro near the pool had tasty burgers and an friendly Chef who catered for the kids very well. Only comment the registration was very slow.
A great stay overall overlooking the Balearic sea.dont forget the adventurous boat, ferry and so much more trips just to the east.you cannot miss the incredible staff who treat you honestly like king and queens. The bedrooms could maybe have some improvements like a mini fridge or some wall paintings but I would definitely recommend this hotel!!!
Absolutely dreadful holiday, we had the worst time ever at this hotel. We don't expect much for a 3* but bedding changed more than once in a 2 week stay is a must. I'd have thought so anyway, apparently bedding is changed every 3 days, this hasn't been the case. Don't get a check out after 11am as your wristbands are cut off and you aren't entitled to any food or drink after 11am. Not mentioned by love holidays on their page. Check out is at 11am and not 12 as it states on love holidays. Food is OK but there is no option for kids, at all. Evening entertainment is rubbish, repeated weekly and carried out inside the building, it's far too hot and if there is air con then it's non existent. Entertainment staff do 10 mins at pool and that's about all we've seen. If your kiddies go to kids club then you have to pay for any activities they take part in, anything from 3 to 10 euro. Juice at the pool bar is very syrupy and flat not nice at all. We saw the chef at the snack bar blowing his nose one day with his gloves on and then go about making food up with same mentioned gloves. No removal of them and not washing his hands first before putting on fresh gloves. Our last morning there was a couple of cockroaches on the restaurant floor at breakfast. Reception staff roll their eyes and start getting cheeky if you go to them with an issue. We have always stayed at 3* hotels in the past 20+ years of coming to Ibiza as we know we get value for money. However, this one has totally let us down, especially when there are many others in resort that over a far superior experience. We have stayed here in the past before the new owners took over and it used to be a lovely hotel, its definitely gone to the dogs. Won't be back. Thank god for the beautiful beach as the pools aren't big enough for the amount of folk in the hotel. We spent £1500+ over and above the price of our holiday just going around the island on buses during the day to get away from the place. We're exhausted with it and we will be glad to get home. Our 10 year old has been bored stupid at the hotel, don't bother wasting your hard earned money coming here.
Tbf the hotel is what you would expect, we got what we paid for! Rooms were clean, breakfast was a bit chaotic, lunch was better, evening meal was a bit hit and miss! But you wouldn’t go hungry! As a couple we should’ve booked the adults only hotel, as this one is aimed for families and kids so that’s our fault. We never wanted to lie round the pool in the day. The main attraction for us was Cala Nova beach, we spent all day there catching the last drop of sun and then came back for the evening meal and a few drinks! We would sit by the pool in the evening with a few drinks when the sun went down as it was nice and chilled then. The entertainment was good the nights we stayed in, but as it’s only a short walk into the town we had a meanderer down there, After a busy week on the other side of the island this is exactly what we wanted! Somewhere cheap and all inclusive, close to the beach where we could have a few days to fully relax! The location for us was fabulous!
I am currently here with my 5 year old and my partner, what a lovely hotel it is, the rooms are very clean, the food is exactly what you would expect from a 3 star hotel. But most of all, the staff are the best thing about the hotel, so polite always happy to help. The 3 entertainers during the day are wonderful for the children, constantly games, getting everyone involved, my shy 5 year old has never sat down and that has made my holiday. Highly reccomend.
We had a lovely little last minute break here. We got an amazing deal and really can’t complain. The room was lovely, nice balcony, good air con (shame it wasn’t on when we arrived - the room was HOT but soon cooled down). We had a lovely view of the pool area in a superior room on the 5th floor. We had twin beds and a third fold out, the room and bathroom was nice. Two lifts up and down, never had to wait too long. Pool and area was lovely, with a little (fairly basic) entertainment day and night. Very short walk to the beach!! Two minutes if that. The area was lovely and quiet with great views. The only thing that let it down was the food. We were all-inclusive. The drinks/cocktails/icecreams/snack bar war ok and can’t complain about those. But the all inclusive breakfast and especially dinner were a let down, very poor choice/selection and very busy. We thought American night would be a safe bet but there was dog fish and Yorkshire puddings which we thought was odd. There were ribs being cooked fresh at the show cooker but they couldn’t keep up with demand. I would still come back here, but I’d certainly eat my evening meals elsewhere. Breakfast was better as you had the choice of cereal, pastries, rolls which were better choices then the cooked options. We didn’t need much from reception but everyone we encountered was friendly. Overall we enjoyed our stay and my child spent alot of time in the pool! Oh and we never struggled to get a sunbed after breakfast even though a handful were being reserved every day.
🙃
Nice and spotlessly clean hotel. Breakfast and lunch was nice enough, dinner abit hit and miss. Limited choice but you won't go hungry. Drinks seem weak but not a bad thing. Beds in the room were comfortable . Beautiful location with the beach minutes away. Beach is stunning. We really enjoyed our stay,,we used it as a base and went on lots of trip. Lots of restaurants nearby. We enjoyed our time there.
We had a great holiday in this lovely hotel, food is delicious definitely 10 out of 10, the staff are amazing, always dressed to perfection, pool area and pool cleaned every day, Snack bar made fresh while you wait, only the chef there is very miserable,& quiet rude, pool bar is great lots of selection plus lolly’s ice cream wafers, cornet, boys very happy. Annimaton team are excellent, only 2 things let’s it down, Aircon in whole hotel is basically none existent, plus they need small fridge and Kettle in each room, but we had an excellent stay and would recommend to others
We got back last night after a 5 night stay and I honestly do not know why some of the reviews are so negative. We got the hotel for a bargain price and we honestly can’t complain, we were chuffed with the place. The only issue we had during our stay, was that we didn’t have any hot water from our shower for the first half of our stay. The hotel were aware of the issue and proactively offered us an upgrade to the all inclusive premium package from the half board package we had paid for- we were very impressed with this. The room was very spacious, and the housekeeping team work very hard- our room was done every day to a high standard. Would have been nice to have a kettle/fridge but not a big issue. The pool area was brilliant, no matter what time we went for a sunlounger, we always got one. This is a huge positive for me, as there is nothing worse than the 5am wake up for a lounger. The animation team work very hard and the pool bar staff are great too. The food is quite basic but we always found something to eat and I don’t think you can expect more for the price we paid. The restaurant staff work very hard and are all lovely. We went out of an evening so didn’t stay for the entertainment but I do think it would have been nicer having the entertainment outside. The inside venue was a little dreary. The area is lovely, lots of lovely bars and restaurants a short walk away, with a nice beach. We got the local bus from the airport and it dropped us off a 5 min walk from the hotel. On the way back, the local bus picks you up right outside the hotel- a good way to avoid expensive taxis plus the taxis in resort can take a long time to come. This bus also takes you into santa Eulària. Please don’t get too worried about the negative reviews!
My friend & I had a wonderful stay at moon dreams on arrival reception was very friendly we were on the 5th floor overlooking the pool & we could see the sea too, our room was bright & modern bathroom a bit dated but worked perfectly. We couldn’t get to grips with the air con so asked reception & a lovely young lady came straight away & sorted it & it was great all week. I think this hotel is better than budget as it is very clean & the lady’s doing the rooms are lovely & friendly, the pools great we were very happy with the food & the dining room staff are lovely there was lots of choice. Our TUI rep Julie was so helpful & lovely the reps were there every day am & pm. Drinks were good & the entertainment staff were fun but it wasn’t in your face & just a bit of fun! We took a travel kettle instead of renting one & we didn’t need to hire a fridge as we had everything we needed at the hotel. The location is great just a 6min walk to beach & if you walk round the bay you get to the small town area with a few shops & bars great fun at night. We can’t wait to come back & bring our other friends too x
We had a really good time, food was ok, staff were amazing (we tipped). Our 4 yr old loved the kids club, mini disco and pool. Location was great, perfect beach (never used the sun-beds as we used to go later in the afternoon). Went to Santa Eulalia by bus, very cheap. Hippy market was also nice. Buah bar at Es Cana beach was our favourite. Would return if we had the same deal. Thank you
Arrived home today after a 4 night stay, we booked last minute and got a great price, I will admit I was a little dubious as it is only 3 stars ,but do admit I was pleasantly surprised. we arrived early hours of the morning & were checked in by a lovely lady called Hte ,very friendly & showed us to the restaurant where there were meats & cheeses to make a sandwich & coffee etc. Our room was to be fair very nice, clean comfy beds & a shout out to the cleaning staff a they did a great job, As far as the pool area its not massive but clean, we didn't find a problem getting a lounger even in the afternoon. The pool doesn't open till 8.30 & yes there were people queueing to reserve but we noticed people would like to sit in a certain place. in my opinion the drinks didn't taste very strong, I drank double vodkas & think its the soberest I have been on a holiday, so my tip there would be to get a bottle of something from duty free just to have in as the bar closes at 11,(after that you need to pay till 12). A special thanks to Frank a member of staff who was lovely. food wise, I found breakfast to be my highlight, lunch has more options than dinner, there was always something to chose from but didn't blow me away, but i didn't expect to much as it 3 stars. The main thing for me & it only personal choice they don't do gravy, may sound daft but spoke to a few other people and they agreed that with there food they felt there was something missing, the snack bar was good with burgers, toasties and dogs etc..& the chef was really funny, made me laugh, I smelt onions one day & noticed a lady getting fried onions, so if you ask he will do this for you. I didn't get his name but there was a lovely entertainment guy, who did the aqua aerobics,& the water polo amongst other things that kept everyone entertained. the only thing that I will say is my son has special needs he is a adult but jumped in the deep end of the pool,& panicked, the life guard needs to be more on it as he nearly went totally under, thanks to a lovely lady who managed to get him out in one piece. overall, I had a great stay, the hotel is in a great location not far from shops, bars & restaurants. As a smoker its not far from a tobacconist. Also, i will admit going out can be pricey but its the same all over in Ibiza; I recommend Popeyes, just down the road & Charlies bar further down near the centre, they did have entertainment which I thought was ok, the hotel offers in my opinion a budget price & I felt it was well worth what we paid. I have given 4 starts not five because of some of the issues mentioned above,
Having never been to budget all inclusive before, was a little apprehensive. However we need not have worried. Food was plentiful and varied and we always found something to our taste, I wouldn't describe it as fantastic but certainly adequate. Hotel was clean and staff polite, with good bar areas, although drinks were watered down they tasted ok. We had no issues with sunbeds and overall the atmosphere around pool was friendly. Overall good value for money hotel in a beautiful part of Ibiza
Just arrived home from Coral Beach. We found food absolutely fine, there was always something. WiFi was quite poor so we ended up paying to use our data while here. Superior rooms are basically the same as the standard, so I wouldn’t pay extra for a superior. Overall very clean, staff were extremely helpful and friendly.
Arrival - We arrived late at night (around 11:30pm), check in was fairly quick and there were sandwich items available for some food before bed. Pool - Sun-loungers were flimsy and cheap - we unfortunately saw one snap under an older man which made us more wary of them - there is also not quite enough sunbeds for the amount of people in the hotel. Food - Breakfast was ok- same thing everyday, not loads of variety, pancakes some days but only had syrups to go with them. Lunch we mainly had at the snack bar which was good, made fresh to order and the gentleman that works there works very hard. Dinner- well we only ate at the hotel 3 out of the 7 nights we were there! We gave it a go and had a look most nights, but every night was disappointing. The staff work really hard but it was paying off. Drinks- Beer was Estrella, so my partner was happy. However, the cocktails, I understand that they don’t put a lot of alcohol into all inclusive drinks, but they all tasted the same, which was like water with a tang. The drinks were that bad that we went to buy some every day. We even had to purchase water bottles from the vending machines in reception, as they weren’t provided. Room - clean but old fashioned and in need of some TLC. Beach- the beach was absolutely beautiful and only a short walk from the hotel which made up for a lot of the hotels shortcomings.
Booked 3 nights for a last minute break. We usually do 5 star sensatori/Sandals type resorts, so went along with no massive expectations but pleasantly surprised. Read some scathing reviews beforehand…it’s not a five star experience I agree….its a three star hotel…but a good one! Rooms are dated, but very clean and towels and bedding were pristine. Staff excellent. Food was excellent and hot food was actually hot not lukewarm…Refreshing change. Plenty of choices at both snack bar and the buffet. All of the photographs I show are just one lunchtime. It was quite nearly the end of service. No “resturant”..a canteen style food hall but clean and plenty of tables. Drinks good overall. Had better cocktails but were ok…. First time running on a long mat over the water…such fun! Ent staff tried very hard. Wouldn’t be my choice for a two week holiday but really good for a quick break away and would do again. Literally three minutes from the beach and a 10 minute walk from Harbour area which had some brilliant bars with live entertainment.
June 2025 10 days All inclusive We have been coming this hotel for many years at least once and sometimes twice a year. We have seen 3 company's run this hotel,Moon dreams being the currant one. We absolutely love the hotel and its location in Es Canna. Upon arrival we were disappointed that after receiving confirmation that the room we requested would be ready for us it had already been allocated to other guests. Had we not received an email confirmation we would not have been as disappointed as we understand that room choices are not guaranteed. However we were given a free upgrade on the 5th floor as compensation. Which we appreciated and did not expect. The hotel has certainly had lots of good improvments. * The new key wristbands are a great idea. * Our beds had new mattresses and were very comfortable. Lovely new fresh linen which was changed evey 3 days. * Fresh new fluffy towels upon request. *A powerful shower, and after a fall in the bath a slip mat was provided within minutes of requesting one. *Quality toiletries. *Our room was cleaned every day and the ladies were lovely and friendly. After seeing how some rooms were left in a discusting state. I'm talking utter filthy those housekeeping ladies do an excellent job. The hotel staff are excellent, some that have been there for a few years recognised us and welcomed us back. The food overall was better than our last visit in October 24. Plenty of choice at breakfast and lunch time.Evening meal not as much choice but never went hungry. Also 4 theamed nights Chinese,Mexican.Spanish and USA. The tables are cleaned quickly and the staff were very polite and helpful. We have stayed in 4* hotels and the food has not been as good. The snack bar is great serving the usual burgers, toasties, fries, and salad food is prepared to order so always fresh and hot. The pool area is cleaned and hosed down every morning and opens at 8.30. There are plenty of parasols at leat one for every 2/3 loungers, and the loungers are all new. We did not experience any queue and always got our prefared beds. I suspect this will change as the season heightens.I would suggest a few large parasols in the seating area. The €1 deposit for plastic cups(ppv not such a good idea) has been scrapped so as you can imagine many guest tend to accumulate a lot of cups leaving them under loungers and on tables. The bar staff are regularly collecting them, and there are plenty of bins to dispose of them in. Also a problem with some guests leaving plates of food lying around and attracting the seaguls had to ask one guest politely to use the bins provided.. The entertainment round the pool was okay. The ladies were lovely did a good job ,but what was lacking was engagement with guests. (Carla would walk round motivating everyone to join in.) Sadly I watched a game of schooling between 3 guys and the entertainment guy was not even watching them or interacting with them just on his phone. He needs to be more interactive. The evening entertainment is not our thing as we like to have a drink outside and go out to other bars but from what we seen advertised they had live bands and singers on. In my opinion sometimes it's the guest that cause other guests problems. *Slaming bedrooms doors ..maybe they could be fitted wirh anti slam door stops. *Polite notices reminding guests of noise levels. Just before we arrived a lafy was robbed of her bag at check in by a guy who had walked in off the street Towards the end of our holiday a security guard was at the entrance. Overall we had fab holiday and would definitely be returning again. Massive Thank you to all staff for making our holiday special.
Staff excellent, entertainment very impressive, on the pro acts nights, food fair selection with theme nights, restaurant and inside entertainment areas too hot with poor air conditioning, bar service impressive with full size plastic cups, rooms clean ,air conditioning in rooms insufficient, but I asked reception, and they sent some one to improve it. Check in poor with a queue of 25 plus people with one member of staff at 1 am was not impressive. Pool area lovely and clean, but drains had a problem, and you could move to an area not affected, but all staff happy and very helpful. Certainly not bad for a 3 star 🙂
Staff - Very Friendly & Attentive all over the hotel, absolutely no complaints. Rooms - Cleaned everyday & fresh towels if you need. Cleaning staff all very lovely. No kettle. No fridge. We had to hire a fridge for 50 euros for the week which we needed for babies milk. Aircon in rooms not very strong. Noise from corridor & doors slamming extremely loud. We had an outside facing balcony so didnt get much noise from entertainment or pool which was good. Key fobs for rooms also on wristbands which is very handy. Food - average standard all inclusive buffet. Was okay but not great. Toasties from the snack bar were good. Entertainment - kids mini disco was poor, same songs & dances every single night. Didnt see much of the later entertainment so cant comment. Good activities in the big pool through the day. Pools - no rush for sunbeds which is great & can always get some. Alot of the big pool is in the shade through the day. We were at the kids pool which was good & got the sun all day. All kids shared toys & floats which was nice. However some adults only laid at the kids pool & complaining of getting splashed or hit by balls etc - go to the big pool! Location - perfect. Supermarket across the road & 5 min walk to many bars & restaurants & the beach. No major complaints about this hotel but could do better in areas mentioned. We got a nice cheap deal & it was worth that money. Es Canar is absolutely beautiful to go out & explore & the restaurants & bars around are all lovely - pricey but didnt bother us as we liked going out.
Stayed at this hotel for 4 nights late June 2025. Positives • Good location, lots of shops nearby and the beach • Sun loungers can only be accessed at 8:30am so no rat race for beds •Clean and spacious rooms •Wrist bands contained room key chip which was a lot easier than just a key Neutral • As expected from a 3 star the drinks are watered down and not very nice •Food is the basic all inclusive food Negatives •Air con really poor, thankfully the staff gave us a fan, otherwise withouth it the heat would have been unbareable •Walls/floors very thin even on the top floor you could hear a lot of noise Ultimately you get what you pay for, we got this stay as a cheap deal so we are happy with what we got for a cheap 3 star hotel.
We stayed at coral moon hotel for a week staff are very friendly and attentive, food unfortunately was poor so we didn’t end up eating here but we expect it with all inclusive food anyway but we never struggled to eat out as a lot around in the area, we were sadly disappointed that we did have to pay 15 euros for a kettle and there was no fridge, we had no choice as we had a baby who needed milk making up so didn’t think it was very fair All in all we had a very good holiday!
Firstly the good points I have been to this hotel some years ago since then it’s been repainted and has had some updates The hotel is very clean, and staff are great The food is nothing special standard 3star all inclusive best meal is always the breakfast, Negative points The hotel has two grills in the restaurant for show cooking eggs , steak ect. However one was not working at all and the other was only half working so very long wait at peak times for eggs ect when I spoke to the staff about it they said it had been like that for some time Entertainment is very poor and indoor , small team of three all seemed inexperienced too many nights with no real entertainment quiz and bingo, karaoke evening children’s entertainment what there is of it lasts about 30 min and the adult lasts 1 hour so if you are looking for some good entertainment then this is probably not the hotel for you
Where do I start I cannot give enough praise to this little gem. Definitely deserves more than the 3 star rating. Arrival friendly staff smooth check in. Room 245 overlooking the pool. Spacious cleaned daily by a really friendly lady - fresh towels daily and always looked immaculate cleaning. Pool area full of sun beds and no one can access the area until 8.30am - fabulous always got a bed. Entertainment staff worked hard and you could tell had a good rapport with each other rather playground style at times which was quite sweet to watch. Music was a little repetitive and melancholy at times but when the good mixes played with original artists it ticked all boxes - great Restaurant plentiful food always warm and selection meat fish pasta each day lunch and dinner. Breakfast good choice would have liked to have seen museli on the cereal section but no complaints all lovely. Chef cooked nightly ( steak chops fish chicken) all chefs always had a smile and fantastic bond with each other. Waiting staff really nice. Could not complain about a thing with the food it was better than some 4 star hotels we have been to! Snack bar chef happy and excellent chef. Nice selection of freshly cooked snacks. Bar never queued and drinks wide selection all good. Set 5 mins from beach and 20 mins walk to Wednesday hippy market. Las Dalia’s 10e in a taxi and well worth a visit to the hippy night market and what an experience. I can give nothing but high praise to this perfect hotel. And am looking to book next year again but the prices have rocketed since we went adjust over a week ago. One piece of feedback the paint play by the pool I would say the space is not big enough and left a few of us gasping on the powder paint as the entertainment staff threw it at each other they were having more fun than the guests. But please don’t take that as a negative because the whole holiday was so positive! Well done to all management and staff you are amazing and have a lovely hotel
This is a 3 star hotel, but a very good one, read a few negative reviews before we came and have to say we couldn't find many negatives. Could do with some updating but everywhere is very clean they have new sunbeds and new mattresses in the rooms. The corridors have hard flooring so it can be noisy when guests are arriving or leaving which came up in some reviews. Our room was cleaned daily and sheets changed twice in 7 days . All the staff we met were brilliant. Breakfast was very good with lots of choice we ate lunch outside from the snack bar which was also very good ,special mention to the snack bar chef who was funny and quick to serve. Lots of guests were complimentary about the restaurant. We didn't use it at night as we prefer to go out so can't comment. Drinks were fine as good as any all inc we have visited. There were 3 professional entertainment acts on in our stay we only caught the end of their shows but were good and well received. The animation team worked hard to get people involved. Only real downside here was no kettle or fridge in the rooms ,aircon was fine in our room. We would definitely return here
Positive - Room basic but nice. Tv can connect to Netflix which children liked. - Wrist bands are room keys which is really handy. - May half term, not too busy not too quiet - Average food, with a few really nice things. Food times are good. Chinese night, Mexican night really good. - Staff are really friendly and work really hard. - Beds comfortable enough - 5 mins walk from a beach, 10 mins walk from another beach. Negative - Check in was painfully slow - Walls are paper thin, doors slam if you don’t hold them as they close. Heard drunk people, people moving in/moving furniture, a family having a major fight just before 5am. - Pool is freezing, takes your breath away for the first couple of minutes. Very deep except for a small area. Slightly better in the afternoons. - Lifeguard sits so far back from the pool, it was pointless him being there. - Shower temperature doesn’t stay even, goes cold then scalding hot. - Cleaners insisted on changing beds part way through the week (they’d been in the clean the room the day before), they changed the towels in the bathroom as well and managed to lose our toothbrushes! Went straight to reception once we noticed, they said they’d check and get back to us but they didn’t. Cleaners need to be more careful. - Cleaners come in even if do not disturb sign is up. - Several things broke down in the restaurant, soda machines giving out carbonated water rather that pop, pancake machine not working. Ran out of pastries and some of the sauces a few times. - Wrist bands locked out a day before we were due to leave. Notes - No bottled water but you can bring your own water bottle to fill up from the machines. - Kids gaming machines can be temperamental, ate our money but reception gave it back no problem. - Cocktails - I’d heard they were strong but the few I tried weren’t. Base is premixed from a machine. Outside bar is stronger than hotel bar. - Our only request was connecting rooms, which we didn’t get.
After seeing some mixed reviews we didn’t know what to expect. However our experience was very positive. Yes it’s 3 star but the bedrooms were clean and smart. Bathroom nice and clean. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We went all inclusive and the food selection catered to all tastes. My only negative was having to pay 50 euros for a fridge. We took our own kettle or we would have had to pay for one. Other than that it was a lovely holiday
Rather than a long review (it will still be long) I’m going to list pros and cons. Pros: **Quick and easy check in by a lovely very helpful young lady. We even got our room early. **Clean room, plenty of storage space, but take some extra clothes hangers if you’re there for more than a few days. **Bathroom was fine. Hand soap, shampoo and body wash provided. **Housekeeping was efficient and friendly. **The dining restaurant had plenty of food options. Fish, meat, pasta, chips, salads, veg, cold meats, cheese. There’s also a bar, self serve water, coffee, tea and fizzy/still drinks for the kiddies **The bar area is spacious and the bar staff work very hard and are friendly. **The snack bar is great for toasties and chips. **pool area is big and we never struggled to get a sun lounger. The pool bar has self serve coffee and water along with the usual range of alcoholic drinks. **The animacion team have the patience of saints (also see cons) Cons: **The rooms have very thin walls and noise can be heard in the early hours (running in corridors and doors slamming). Didn’t bother me too much as I wear ear plugs **The dinning area can get noisy with overly loud music at times. **The animacion team while good, seem to whip the kiddies up into a frenzy by the pool. Then go for a break. We (myself and my friend) actually witnessed the team encouraging other team members and the kiddies to push each other into the pool. We then saw a child slip and first aid being administered. **The bar area was very noisy at the beginning of our stay. Drunk adults just left their children to run around screaming. What concerned us is the amount of unsupervised small children running around the pool area on an evening. We later found out there had been several complaints about this. To sum it up, this is a lovely hotel that was spoilt by a drunken minority along with lack of consideration from other guests. We felt sorry for the amazing staff, who at times just looked beaten by some of the antics of the guests.
We loved our holiday at coral beach. I know they had troubles last year with water but don't judge this hotel because of it. Maria and the team looked after us so well. Perfectly clean, friendly staff and they work so hard. Always something to eat and the snack bar does the best toasties. The chef is brilliant. Pool and area is perfect with loads of sunbeds and parasols. Es cana is perfect. Beaches 200m away or up to cala nova , 10 min walk. Plenty of pubs and restaurants with in walking distance. Resort is ideal for couples and families. Freddy and Julie's is a hidden bar behind the main road if you want an English experience. Frozen glasses are a must and a good breakfast. You can hire a car from round 60euros for the day if you want to explore the island. We went on the catamaran trip, AMAZING. Again, Coral beach is a fantastic hotel for the price , located perfectly in Es cana
I Wasn't expecting much for the price I paid but at least if the food was rubbish it was near a town with a lot of restaurants. The room was spotless and cleaned every day to a great standard The staff were all fantastic, I've had worse service in upmarket hotels. The staff are hard working and the service was always excellent The food was locally sourced and the buffet type dining was excellent. Everything is made and cooked in front of you. Be warned though, this is Mediterranean food, lots of fresh fruit and veg and salad with cooked meats and fish. I thought it was really good, fresh and healthy and very little beige food. The all inclusive drinks were great too, excellent choice of wines and a good draft beer. Plenty of spirits and mixers on offer as well as soft drinks. Locally there are some lovely spots to visit and a bus stop outside with trips in to the capital for 8 Euros. The staff made this trip a pleasure and certainly exceeded my expectations, still can't believe how hard they were working. I would certainly go again as the all inclusive price couldn't be beaten.
The hotel was in a poor state of repair, dated and very tired looking. Not really what people expect in 2024. The double room for three people just means three beds crammed into a room meant for two! Not enough storage space, bedside tables or walking room. You tripped over each other. Balcony had one table and two chairs only. It was wobbly and no clothes hanger/line provided to dry towels or clothes. Air.con was a centralised system (this means it’s not a separate air con unit working in each room) Also I think it’s code for once it fails - everyone’s fails!! It was controlled by an analog thermostat - so no numbers on display. The cover fell off! There were no instructions and it failed on a few occasions during the night. No indication of what it was doing or the temperatures reached/set. A very antiquated system. The bathroom had the toilet wedged in a corner with the bath pillar in front. This meant you had to sit on it at an angle as there wasn’t enough room for it. The shower/bath has rusted fittings and hard water water blue/green stains. The water constantly alternated between warm, Dangerously hot and cold as you showered. It was dangerous at times - kids beware. The basin had a nozzle spray that had one setting only - spray everything within a metre with water!! It was either full on bouncing water everywhere or off! The hotels downstairs urinals were closed off and overflowing with urine. It was rank. Regular wafts of sewerage smells throughout the day and a constant buzzing from nearby power cables. The loud ‘Bwaps’ of mopeds through the night will keep you awake through the thinnest of patio/balcony windows or if you manage to filter that out and catch some sleep, watch out for the earth rumbling slams of peoples doors as they come and go. No doors have closers fitted. Trust me. You’ll appreciate these luxuries you used to take for granted after staying here. No fridges in rooms but someone helpfully dumped one in the corridor for a few days!! 😂 No kettle or drinking water either. If you have the audacity to ask for water as part of your all-inclusive you’ll be told you can have 2 cups at a time of the desalinated water available from the restaurant or pool bar. There’s a reason no one drinks the stuff. Even the staff steer well clear. It’s disgusting. Expect to buy yourself bottles of water and stash in the room. They don’t allow you to fill water flask/bottles. The food was very hit and miss. So take this into account if you have anyone that is a fussy eater. They’ll be going hungry!! - they had a wide selection with varying standards. But the cakes and ice-creams were nice. The pool is very busy and not enough loungers/parasols for guests. Don’t forget, the beds are reserved with the universal currently of Brits abroad - ‘towels’!! - they queue from 8 am to place them. Up until that time, I kid you not; the doors to the pool are locked with a huge chain and padlock. Amazing scenes. The staff are helpful, amazing and worth bigging up. They keep the place running well and things are mostly spotless. The rooms are cleaned daily and towels always provided when you need them. To sum up the stay - if you pay 2024 prices you shouldn’t expect 1994 standards. The hotel has such little investment it’s plain to see what the priority is here. Profit. Profit. Profit. Whatever your expectations - lower them a little and you’ll be much happier.
Second stay this year after going in June First time abroad for me in 25 years Lovely hotel Clean has everything that you need Good prices Staff are really nice And I will be returning The hotel and Es Cana are suitable for all ages families couples There was a good mix of guests staying both there Infact talking to many of them they have been going to the same hotel for years
Stayed here in September with my Mum and 10m old daughter. Hotel rooms were basic but clean and we had a nice view of the pool. Food was ok, not out of this world but good for what I was expecting from a 3* all inclusive hotel. I’m vegan and the staff were really helpful in confirming which dishes had allergens / non-vegan items in. There were a few people complaining about food but not sure what they expected for the price! We visited the Hippy Market and LOVED it!
Coral beach hotel was very well kept clean wow factor when we first entered the hotel for a 3* it was lovely room was lovely clean cleaner on the 2nd floor was excellent no complaints from us lift was a little small pool was small for the size of the hotel good idea on the plastic tumblers for 1 ero stops glasses getting broken maybe other plastic glasses the queue for drinks could take ages to be served soft drinks out of plastic bottles which was sometimes flat as tops was left off we didn't know it was coming to the end of season at the hotel food was hit and miss we never went hungry snack bar was brilliant ice creams was nice we had no children with us but I do think our granddaughter would have loved the mini disco with the lovely lady doing activities she was brilliant we did meet a lovely family on our 2nd night due to me losing my ring it flew of my finger luckily a gentle man found it think his name was danile was very upset at the time and falling over the parasol base which was not good was badly bruised which luckily nothing broken met with another couple of ladies from whitly bay we danced the night away entertainment was not that good quizzes bingo only the Thursday night band was absolutely brilliant for the price we paid it was very good value for money was so near to a lovely beach and walking distance to lovely shops and a supermarket should you need water or anything else vending machine in the hotel you also pay tourists tax when checking in glass bottom boat was a good hour out a bit rough at sea hippy market was amazing very busy which is about 20 mins from hotel found it quicker walking along the beach all in all we had a great holiday wish we exchanged numbers to the lovely family who helped me find my ring will return but not end of season when use bottles of pop instead out of the machines pass on our thanks to all staff who looked after us from 14th till 21st October who worked very hard
Liked the food & drink choices. Hotel provides snacks ( sandwich, burgers, french fries) in addition to breakfast, lunch, & dinner. Pool area tanning chairs need daily proper cleaning due to many customers.
I wanted a double room for me and my partner, as part of this we wanted a double bed, however the cheapest room available only came with two single beds, the cheapest room I could find was advertised as a double bed and a single twin, so I booked this so we could stay in the same bed, it cost an extra £50 per night, we were only staying for one night. When we got to our room we had been given three twin beds, two of which were pushed together, this was not what was advertised. When I questioned this with reception they advised all their double beds were singles pushed together, so essentially not double beds at all. I advised the reception I had specifically paid more to get a double bed based on how they advertised the rooms on Hotels.com, they weren’t really interested and there’s was nothing they could or wanted to do about this. It was very frustrating having paid quite a lot extra for something we didn’t get, essentially false advertising. The hotel itself is very dated, the decor is a throwback from the 1980’s/1990’s, the carpets in the communal corridors are in much need of replacement / a good deep clean along with the furniture in the rooms. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel based on their advertising of how rooms are made up and their unwillingness to seem even remotely interested / bothered that having paid for a double bed we got three singles.
Lovely hotel with a good feel about it. staff were helpful and friendly. Food was decent and there was plenty of choice for everyone. Would recommend for a family holiday
We have just returned from our holiday to Azuline coral beach, the weather was in the mid twenties each day. The hotel room was lovely and clean and tidy, and cleaned everyday. The pool area was great, plenty of sun beds and lots to do for kids throughout the day and evening, the children entertainers are fab. The hotel staff were extremely helpful and couldn’t do enough for you, the hotel food was brilliant, I’m a vegetarian and my husband is a meat eater and we had no issues with food they always had a great selection of food at breakfast, lunch, dinner and also food selection of desserts. We witnessed a family that had been at the side of the pool drinking all day and evening and arrived at the restaurant for evening meal 15 mins before it closed and kicked off because some of the food had been eaten. I felt sorry for the staff and thought the family embarrassed themselves rather than actually making the hotel look bad. We loved it here so much so that we have rebooked to come in May next year as a family holiday with our three children! It exceeded our expectations and would personally rate this more of a 4* hotel. 180 day to go!
Ubicación fantástica a escasos metros de Cala Nova
Property suited are needs food was ok could have done with more flavour it was either very bland or very salty sometimes not hot but overall hotel was very nice would stay with this hotel group again
They have a good quality for the price they offer, I think it’s a nice hotel to go with your family
Great stay for our long weekend in Ibiza. We had everything we needed and food was good (we were all inclusive) and hotel staff were helpful and friendly. Hotel is a bit out the way for the city centre but regular and good bus routes nearby take you most places on the island. Also has a direct bus from the airport which stops directly outside the hotel. We would stay again!
Coral Beach Hotel is situated ideally for both the local amenities of Escanar and it’s beaches, including the beautiful Cala Nova. The rooms are clean and air conditioned with a tv and balcony. The beds are comfy and there are both showers and a bath. If you’d prefer you could just lounge around their adequate pool. There are more than enough sun loungers provided and family entertainment takes place on the stage outside. The hotel caters for its customers by way of a great buffet with a good assortment for different tastes. Alternatively, there are many restaurants, bars and cafes etc within a short walk. If you’d like to explore more of the island there are at least three transport hire companies in the immediate vicinity. All in all we had a great stay at the Coral Beach and would definitely return
Friendly staff, amazing food and great location.
A good hotel with excellent choice of food. Rooms basic but kept very clean. Men on reception very helpful and dining room staff work very hard to keep tables clean. A great location for resort centre and two lovely beaches.
Lovely hotel, excellent clean pool, great choice of food/drink each day and perfect location close to the beach. Staff were friendly and I didn’t have an issue with sun beds in the morning, especially in August. Mainly English tourists and the type of people staying were all lovely. I have stayed in other hotels with better evening entertainment, however it certainly wouldn’t put off me off coming back. I ventured into the town (5 minute walk away) and visited Charlie’s Bar and a couple of others which were very entertaining. I would definately recommend this hotel and may be coming back next year.
Beautiful location close to the coast in a quiet area. We found the staff very friendly. The food was nice and the hotel had nightly entertainment. Only fault I had was the wifi was not working for my 2 night stay
I did enjoy staying at Coral Beach. No luxury but Great service, very clean, and great price with 2 meals included. I would definitely recommend it to my friends and personally go back.
This is the second time I've been back to this hotel and I shall be returning again, my 7 year old daughter absolutely loves it there, the staff are friendly and the area is lovely.
The restaurant is too small for the amount of guests, quality of the food was so so but on par with the price we paid for the hotel. Clean rooms but thin walls made you hear conversations from the neighbouring rooms. Showers also were not consistent with the temperature. The water would get scorching hot and then cold.
Hotel con ampie camere pulite con letti comodi arredi un po datati buona la zona vicino al mare.
Lovely stay , half board , food was very good for the cost with lots of choice, would recommend for a low cost break
The hotel offers great value for money. Food is ok but a very limited choice. Drinks included with meals was an additional bonus! The local area is very quiet with the beach just a few steps away. I would recommend this hotel for a cheap out of season get away!
Basic 3 star hotel so only get what u pay for. Rooms cleaned everyday and are spotless. Great kids club but pool areas could do with a bit of a relationship vamp. Right by beach with lots of bars cafes and restaurants close by. Lovely relaxed holiday great for families. Food isn't great but it's good enough for what u pay.
Last minute stay found hotel just right friendly staff good food and in nice location with good access to local transport and coastal walks
Nice hotel, brilliant location (right next to the beach),good breakfast, fantastic value for money!
This is a large hotel located not far from the restaurants and shops in Es Cana but in a quiet location close to a lovely beach. The rooms are fine, spacious and clean but furnishings and decor somewhat dated. They have air con, balcony and the ensuite is a reasonable size. Shower is powerful, but temperature fluctuates a bit! Has a bath too. The staff are friendly and helpful and speak good English. We had an enjoyable stay here, the only let down was the food which was very poor. The dining room was large and cramped at busy times. Long queues for the buffet and cooked food was poor quality. We chose not to eat there after the first day - there was a lovely restaurant 5 mins walk away which did great coffee and croissants, cooked breakfasts and fresh orange juice. Lots of things were at extra cost. If you want wifi, or to use the safe in your room, you have to pay. Plus they want a 10€ deposit for the safe key and the same if you want a beach towel. They even want a deposit for the TVs remote!! If you need an iron it'll cost you 10€, ironing board is 12€. Not good if you're on a budget!
Good value for money hotel thats near the beach and friendly staff. Only moan would be the beds were pretty uncomfortable
Hotel was very clean , room was spotless and clean towels each day, food was 100% and drink was just as good , the staff where youre so helpful and the girl that cleaned are room each day was so nice , the only gripe i would have would be the entertainment at night but would not put me off going back . Ps . Great value for the money i payed..
Not bad at all especially for the price in a good location and the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful.
You era not boring there. Lots of contests during day. At nights plenty shows every night.
food was very poor
