Reviewed Sep 15, 2026We particularly liked the staff who were all very pleasant and extremely helpful. Naimh on the reception desk is an asset to the hotel. Being gluten and dairy intolerant I found the breakfast superb with an extremely helpful lady in charge of the breakfast room.
We actually stayed twice within 4 days and the first stay we had one of the lodges which would have been excellent apart from the green lights embedded in the ceiling. Some sort of safety feature? But they made sleeping quite difficult. I’d suggest the hotel reviews these. There must be another way? Second stay we had a bedroom which was much better for our sleep!

I understand supplements for a single room but when the the room is so small that it can only just fit a single bed then I do feel it is unjustified.

This is a good location that is in an equal distance from the townlands of my maternal grandparents.; and I go see their houses, which are still standing, every time I visit Ireland.

Reviewed Sep 6, 2026Die Lage war gut, direkt am Spanish Point. Restaurant war auch gut, vor allem gut besucht zur Hochsaison.
Wir hatten ein Twin Zimmer gebucht, extra um etwas mehr Platz zu haben , da wir mit 2 grossen Koffern unterwegs waren. Wir waren dann aber sehr enttäuscht, als wir unser Zimmer Nr 23 bezogen. Es war klein, müffelig, Fenster konnte nicht geöffnet werden.

Reviewed Sep 1, 2026This is a gorgeous hotel on Spanish Point. The hotel staff were exceptionally accommodating and really friendly. The room was spacious and had a lovely view. The bar on site was lively and had a great band playing on Saturday night. The breakfast was excellent. Overall, it was a great stay and I would stay here again!
Shower pressure was a little low.

Reviewed Aug 30, 2026Our rooms were very comfortable. We booked two together and we were opposite each other. Staff were friendly and breakfast was lovely. It is a lovely quiet hotel and was perfect for our family. I was also able to charge my car the next morning which is a huge bonus. Thank you!

The hot water was scalding hot! And the shower head was not functioning well, the water sprayed all different directions.

Reviewed Aug 20, 2026I was travelling alone and got a single room. It had everything I needed and was ample for my needs. The bed very comfy. Dinner in the restaurant was delicious. Staff were very friendly.
Bit of a wait for a table for dinner but was worthwhile as service was prompt when I did get seated and my meal was very tasty. I did not get as early a night as I had planned as I could hear the live music from the bar in my room which was on the ground floor.

Strange smell in room. WiFi not very good. A smart tv would have been nice. Reception was a long walk away and the room phone wasn’t working. Heating was controlled through reception which was ridiculous. Our room was tidied up but we didn’t want it done. I think it should only be done if requested not if we forget to put out the do not disturb sign. I booked the restaurant with reception but there was no record of it. Luckily someone was just leaving.

The Week Leading up to our Stay We Rang Hotel 4 Times and kept getting Different Answers Each Time as We Were told We Could Not Checking into our Room until 4pm. Ppl Check out by 11am or 12pm Midday at Latest. You Think Hotel Would Try and Accommodate usi Know I Totally Understand Rooms Have to Be Cleaned as Were Going to Wedding My Girlfriend was Told She Could Go To Toilets to Get Dressed Not a Nice Place for a Lady to get Changed for a Wedding. Room Was Very Dark and Small. Receptionists Were Not Very Nice over The phone. Would Never Stay in This Hotel Again.

Reviewed Jul 23, 2026I wish I could rate this higher, particularly for the staff. We had a last minute emergency hospital visit resulting in us missing the first night of our visit. Niamh and Caitriona couldn’t have been more accommodating. We were very much in limbo as to whether we’d make our stay and they were so lovely about it. When we eventually arrived, we were only charged the remainder of the stay despite us letting the room go unused for a night. Otherwise, it’s also a gorgeous hotel with a fantastic view and a lovely breakfast. Room was comfy and perfect for our stay. We can’t wait to come back!

We were given a room with a broken window, phone in the room didn’t work so I had to return to reception to get sorted. One girl at reception wasn’t very pleasant to deal with. Staff up house were not polite and ignored guests in corridor.
