Comfort Inn Cockatoo Near LAX Airport

We found the room to be very spacious and comfortable. The Bathroom too was quite big and clean. However, no drinking water bottles in the room was certainly bothersome n inconvenient. Breakfast too was pretty decent except that if there were some vegetarian dish like hash brown or even fries, it would have been better.

We stayed to be close to different event venues, it was a very quick trip from there so that's great. They also have parking with tesla connectors so that was helpful as well. Staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms have a lot of space and the beds are comfortable.

The only thing we didn't like was that the door couldn't be locked from inside. We tried several times and we never were able to make the lock work, that felt dangerous at times, as only women stayed in the room. We had to put chairs and other things to help feel safer. Hopefully it was only that room that has that issue.

The cleanliness

The laundry for guests. One of the dryers was not working. There was no sign to inform guests. We tried it twice to dry a small load of clothes and nothing. The front desk told us they were not responsible for the dryer and told us to called the people responsible. Of course we couldn't get through to them. We ended up using a different dryer. Spending $15 instead of $5 to dry 1 load. Up to the time I left there, no sign was up saying the dryer was not working. This is unacceptable.

The staff was very helpful. The bed was comfortable.

The overall facility was run down and in need of an update.

Close to SoFi...walk 5 mins to bua stop to take bus 212 to SoFi in 20 mins. Good water pressure for shower; big towels Spacious room with double beds. Kitchen withbl full s8ze fridge, stove top but need to ask for cook ware and dishware.

Room 211.Shower tap way too tight..cannot turn on shower easily. We had to use a towel to get a good grip to turn on the tap. Seniors with arthritic hands would have difficulty.

Hallways little confusing. More signs, especially at connections. Label lounge door as well?

Både pris, rommene, frokost og nærhet til flyplassen var "midt i blinken". Ellers var både parkering og frokosten var topp :-) Fikk bra valuta for pengene.

Noe bråk fra byggearbeid, samt at det kunne vært noe tilbehør til kjøkkenet. Bestilte 2 rom i nærheten av hverandre som ikke ble oppfylt, men fikk i hvert fall i samme etasje. (De tar ellers ett depositum pr. rom, som ikke framkom ved bestilling)

They would not accept Chime cards even though I had more than enough to pay on my card. I have the chime debit and credit card. I called La Quinta down the street and they got me in no problem. Man at desk said he would speak to manager and they remained behind a wall and didn’t have the decency to come out and speak to me. I would stay away.

The bed was so comfortable, and the room was clean and cool when I entered.

The construction that started at 7-7:30a. I checked out early because of it. I was woken up to pounding, scraping, drilling, and slapping boards (I found out later they were replacing the floorboards of several rooms). The walls and floor would shake, and I could feel it through the bedsprings and headboard. So, I couldn't sleep in the morning and I couldn't work due to the noise. I even tried my noise cancelling headphones, and they didn't help. I'm also frustrated there was no warning given that there may be noise due to floorboards being replaced. At least let your guests know! I was also gaslit - I called the front desk asking why there was pounding in the next room at 7:30 in the morning and I was told there wasn't any work going on next to me, that it was 3 floors down. When I looked in the hallway, there were tracks of white powdered footprints back and forth in front of my door to the room next door (like dust from drilling in walls), a giant orange bucket you use to mix concrete or plaster, and a stack of floorboards next door. Unreal. I packed up and left a day early, which is crazy inconvenient. The most ironic part is that I asked for a quiet room and I think I was one of the only guests in the line or region of construction. Why does construction at a hotel need to start before 9a?? Surely, most guest are on vacation or traveling and would appreciate the opportunity to sleep in without being woken up by construction happening in the next room (and without any notification when checking in.)

The room was a great size, beds were comfortable, there was vending machines on each floor (which came in handy!) and having free breakfast was a huge plus! We were in town for the BTS concert and this hotel was perfect for us

The location was the only downside. The street the hotel is on is pretty narrow and there was also construction going on, so it was a bit hard to get in and out, but other than that it was great

The room was so spacious! The pillows super soft and the location was great. If you are going to a concert at sofi would definitely recommend. Will most likely stay here for a different occasion.

Ottima soluzione vicino all'aeroporto di Los Angeles. La camera era abbastanza spaziosa e il letto comodo. Livello di pulizia molto buono. La colazione non è molto varia ma accettabile. Forse in alcuni orari la sala della colazione un po' affollata, ma il posto si trova sempre. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo.

Il parcheggio è un po' caro per essere convenzionato con l'hotel. Anche se è praticamente attaccato alla struttura.

The breakfast was pretty good like it always. It was a little crowded. It was more than we expected, but the breakfast was fine. The staff was very nice in the breakfast area. The staff was not nice at the front desk very nonchalant.

When I first checked in, everything was wonderful I checked in on Friday night. The staff that checked me in that I always deal with was very professional. That’s why I keep coming back to this facility, but the staff that I deal with it today was very unprofessional very rude came to me while I was on social media doing my podcast and told me that I had to leave because of a $50 deposit that I already paid for the room online management came in said I can stay but then he stated to us that we cannot come back anymore because he got in trouble for satisfying us. Our attorney will be in touch with you guys as soon as possible.

I was racially profiled I was asked to leave the facility because I paid online at 10:35 AM on Sunday. The staff in the front was upset because I did not come down downstairs on time to pay for a $50 deposit and I’ve been here for three days already, they told me that I cannot come back due to that and I’m fine with that. I did not like the staff. The staff is very rude. I’m at the pool fill me on my social media. The ladies that worked that day came up to me and told me that I had to leave because I did not give a $50 deposit that I already paid online so we was very uncomfortable management came in. The elevator was out of order, making luggage handling a hassle, while the property suffered from poor ventilation and dim lighting. Parking was frustrating, and the breakfast experience was chaotic due to a cramped, poorly organized dining space.

The environment was very good with shops around and Bus stops close by for easy journey to Downtown Los Angeles, Hollywood, Los Angeles Union Station ect. The buffet continental breakfast was excellent and the staff was very friendly I wish I could stay there longer but hope to use this hotel again anytime I am in Los Angeles.

This was the most inexpensive hotel near the airport we could find. Yet, everything was excellent! Staff was very nice and helpful. Breakfast was excellent including eggs and pancakes, and lots of space to sit. The pool is very big, and we spent the entire day by the pool almost all by ourselves. We also had to do laundry while we were there, and that was fine too.

I loved how sweet all the staff were! With any questions I had they helped me right away! I would definitely stay here again in the future!

The only thing is the parking. You do have to pay for every night you’re staying, but I get because the parking spaces are being shared between other hotels as well.

Good location near LA int.airport, very friendly staff and clean room. We left some belongings that we could not fit in our suitcases and the hotel was willing to send them over to us after paying the costs. It was very nice of them. We had a very good experience with the hotel chain also in San Diego, clean room, towels exchanged daily.

The room had a view to the wall on the ground floor, but we stayed only for 1 night before departure home.

My room was right next to the pool, and there were children screaming all the time; breakfast was a marathon—crowds of people gathered, making it impossible to get food or find a seat, as the space was cramped and became overcrowded.

There were a lot of noises coming from the room next to the pool.

The location is good, walking distance to food and stores.

The elevator was not working, made my stay a bit inconvenient and you’ll have to pay extra fee for parking. $15 for the first car and $30 for a second vehicle. Also the room we were in had an old AC unit that didn’t work too good.

room was clean and towels were clean. The room had a full size refrigerator and ample space with a kitchen sink and food prep area. Ice maker was new and helped us with ice in the cooler we took each day on trips. The fridge and ice maker helped us save on daily food costs for a family of 4, a nice bonus which we were not expecting. Pool was big and clean, although weather was a bit cold for typical summer. Parking garage was very secure, with guards making rounds constantly and great lighting. Also was a clean parking garage with closed gated access. Another benefit. Only downside was elevator was "broken" the entire time, but we got free parking instead, so it was worth it. I will save this address for any future LAX trips.

This is a pretty basic hotel but it was perfect for an overnight on landing at LAX which was what we needed. Good AC, comfy bed and perfectly ok for one night. I wouldnt be spending my holidays where but we slept well and the room was a good size for 4 of us sharing.

The overall atmosphere was very comfortable, and the stay was excellent.

The noise from the refrigerator was a bit loud. Even though it was large, the sound could still affect sleep. There was also an unfamiliar smell when entering the room. I’m not sure if it’s due to cultural differences, but it wasn’t a scent I liked.
