Proximity to the beach was good!

Hotel was dated and the rooms were basic. Bed and pillows were extremely hard. Breakfasts were a challenge due to both the reliability of the coffee machines, of which there were two and the lack of crockery and glasses regularly every day. The gym area was outside and therefore, impossible to use due to the heat.

We hadden een hele fijne gerenoveerde kamer op de begane grond. Het was wat afgelegen van de andere kamers waardoor wij geen last hadden van gehorigheid. Ook fijn dat het een zwembad had. Mooie strandjes op 2 min lopen afstand. Personeel was wisselend in klantvriendelijkheid. Goed ontbijt voor buitenlandse normen. Hele goede dagelijkse schoonmaak!!

We hadden een probleem met de tv. Werd op creatieve wijze opgelost. Tv's bevatten alleen tv en zijn niet smart voor internet of Netflix. Parkeren in de straat kan, maar pas op dat je niet binnen de 5 meter van een kruispunt parkeert. We liepen hierdoor een bekeuring van €115 op. Kom hier niet zonder auto want dan ben je afhankelijk van een bus die weinig rijdt en ver lopen is.

Le seul point positif est la proximité de la plage. Malgré cela, il est dommage que les transats ne soient pas accessibles à tous les résidents de l’hôtel.

Très décevant pour le prix payé. La chambre était beaucoup trop petite et la vue n’était vraiment pas à la hauteur de ce que nous avions payé. Au moment du départ, le personnel n’a pas été très serviable. Une bouteille d’eau nous a été facturée par erreur, nous avons dû insister pour faire reconnaître l’erreur. Il n’y a pas de restaurants à proximité, ce qui est assez dommage Pour le prix, nous nous attendions clairement à une meilleure prestation et à un meilleur service. Nous ne trouvons pas que le rapport qualité-prix soit au rendez-vous.

Beliggenheden var fin. Ud fra billederne kan man dog godt få indtrykket af, at selve hotellet ligger direkte på stranden, men det er restauranten, der ligger ved stranden.

Personalet ved morgenmaden var ikke særlig imødekommende, og morgenmaden var kun nogenlunde. Værelserne var meget små og fremstod desuden slidte.

It had parking (big plus for the peak summer with limited street options), food in the restaurant was great, breakfast had lots of options but the coffee machine didn’t work. It was convenient, close to the beach.

The sun beds are too expensive for internal hotel guests vs beach clubs in the area, coffee machine during breakfast was not working and had to wait a long time to get a coffee… staff could have been nicer in some interactions.

We wanted a hotel close to the airport as we came only for a weekend. The hotel is about 20-30 mins far; sits right at the beach and beautiful sea. Reading all the reviews we did not know what to really expect but in ten end we were very satisfied. But I would say that the feeling of the hotel depends on the room you book / get. The hotel is located in two buildings, separated by a small road. One is with a pool and the other one at the beach, with an amazing restaurant. We booked a deluxe room, based on the description on the hotel website (front beach view). On our arrival, we were greeted by a very nice receptionist who unfortunately did not know much about the hotel. We asked about the sun beds in the garden and he told us this was not for our room which was surprising. He took us to our room which was a bit of shock for us. The room was small, on the first floor with a view to a garden. It was reachable via an access gallery. In front of the room, there was a table with 2 chairs, which with a lot of imagination had a side sea view… I was really upset and went to complain. We got another room, thanks God, on the ground floor which corresponded to the description on the website as it had a real front beach view. I am not sure if the first room was considered as deluxe. Hope not. If yes, then the hotel must really do something to change the description of the rooms on their website to avoid misleading people. We were still told we did not have sun-beds in the garden but the hotel directory was very clear that all deluxe rooms had those. In the garden, indeed, there were reserved sun beds with a number of the room. So we used them. It was an excellent option as it took only few steps to be able to swim in the sea. The room issue was the only hiccup we had in the hotel. Otherwise all was great. Ten hotel has a nice relaxed vibe. The sea was great! The restaurant in the hotel was great with friendly and attentive staff and with amazing manager. The dinner was really good. The breakfast buffet offered all what was needed. The reception is a mixed bag. The first impression was not the best but then we were assisted by two different receptionists who were welcoming, service and solution oriented. On our departure, we appreciated the opportunity to use a transit room to have a shower. The hotel is in a small village. You can find a few restaurants in the area. There was one open all day with great pizza (Costa Sarda). Overall, we liked the hotel but one needs to be really careful what room is booked.

We only stayed one night so we were not able to enjoy all of the facilities. But the room was nice, clean and comfortable. The pool looked nice, although we did not use it. The location is nice if you need to access the airport quickly. The beach in front of the hotel is nice as well.

You need to pay 25 euro a day to park, I think it should be included. And regarding safety, there is an entry by the pool that you can access directly from the street without going to the reception or unlock anything, nothing happened but I did not like that. Anyone can entry the hotel and access the rooms.

The service and property just weren’t worth what we paid. The establishment definitely isn’t a 4 star hotel to say the least

Extrem kleines Zimmer, kein Balkon, Pflegeprodukte nur nach Anfrage, obwohl in der Beschreibung dabei. Zimmerausstattung ungenügend (zB nur 5 Kleiderbügel für 2 Personen, Schrank sehr klein). Frühstückt immer das gleiche über den ganzen Aufenthalt( 9 Tage), keine Auswahl, leere Platten wurden nicht aufgefüllt. Service äußert unfreundlich (die älteste von den Frauen beim Frühstückservice). Beim Abendessen wurden Sachen auf die Rechnung geschrieben und abkassiert, die nicht bestellt wurden und sogar nach Angebot 2x abgelehnt wurden (zB Flasche Wasser).

Upgraded rooms are spacious and modern. If you upgrade the garden Sunbeds have a great view over the sea. You have to pay for the beach beds still. There is nothing nearby, not even a shop and taxis to Olbia are €50 one way.

The staff are INCREDIBLY RUDE. There is zero customer service and they role their eyes and laugh at simple requests. They do not make an effort at all. The gym is not as pictured, and no water available by the 2 gym machines or at reception. They charge extra for absolutely everything - if you get food delivered €12, if you want to sit on the beach, extra charge. I’ve never been to a hotel where the staff are so unfriendly. Unable to get access to an iron during the stay due to all being used. Anything that’s included you have to go pick up from reception e.g shower gel. The location is really remote €50 taxi into Olbia one way and can take over 40minutes to come.

We booked Pelican Beach Resort & Spa as a last minute 3-night mini break. We are a young couple from the UK. There is a taxi rank outside the airport which cost €45 and took around 20 minutes to get to the hotel (longer if traffic is busy). It was much cheaper than booking through our holiday company. We hired a car through the hotel reception which was quick and easy with no issues, and also booked our taxi back to the airport through reception just as easily. If you want to explore the area, I'd definitely recommend hiring a car as taxis aren't easy to get. Check in was quick & easy, and we were shown to our room. The room we had was ‘Deluxe Double or Twin Room, Sea View, Beachfront (The Pelican Villa)’ on a bed and breakfast basis. The beach villas are on the opposite side of the road from the main hotel, directly overlooking the beach, and the views were stunning. We had two sun loungers outside our room as well as two reserved loungers in the beachfront garden. The room was spacious, spotless and cleaned every day. We asked reception for extra pillows as there was only one each, which were delivered almost immediately. There is complimentary WiFi and our room had a safe, toiletries and a hairdryer. No iron or steamer. Breakfast is served in the beachside restaurant. There isn't the huge selection you'd find in a large resort, but there was more than enough choice and everything was fresh. The food & drink menu had plenty of choice and was reasonably priced. We also had lunch at the hotel one day at the garden sun loungers. There's a small supermarket around a 10-minute walk away selling toiletries, sun cream, fresh fruit, meats, snacks and drinks. Card accepted everywhere, we didn’t take any cash. There are several lovely restaurants within a 10-20 minute walk. We particularly enjoyed Mama Beach and Bar Bolla, and Rock & Beach was a great place for drinks a short walk away. Beach towels are included and can be exchanged with either the lifeguard or reception. The beach is beautiful with crystal-clear water, although it's quite rocky, so beach shoes could be handy. Sun loungers on the beach are available for an additional charge. The staff were friendly throughout our stay. A special mention to Sara on reception, who was incredibly helpful, and the bar staff, who were always welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. If you have a later flight, the hotel has a shower room that can be booked through reception the day before you leave, which is a great feature. There's also a bookshelf in reception where guests can borrow or swap books. We didn't use the spa, but it appeared to be available at an additional cost. We also didn’t use the pool, it was nice but quite small. Overall, we absolutely loved Sardinia and had a wonderful stay at Pelican Beach Resort & Spa. We wouldn't hesitate to return and would happily recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful beachfront escape.

The Pelican Beach is nicely located with an access to the private beach, got small pool but big enough to enjoy intimate atmosphere. Stuff can help to hire cars, boat or taxi. Is very quiet. Rooms are OK size, clean and sunny. The main advantage is Nuska Restaurant which offers phenomenal food and drinks. View to the sea and jazzy music makes me love to spend time there more than on the beach..

Shower is a small.. There was one incident which I should mention as this was for me quite dangerous. Kettle has short integrated cable. So when I wanted to take it with me to pour some water to the cup I almost ripped off the cable from the socket. Not mention I spill the water over my luggage and the desk... Same happens to my friend who stay in other room. Nevertheless I give 5star but I thought someone should think to change those kettles before someone get really burned and avoid serious accident.

We stayed at Pellicano Resort Hotel in Pittulongu for three nights, and unfortunately, it didn’t live up to its four-star rating. The biggest positives were the staff and the cleanliness. The restaurant staff, especially the two waiters, were fantastic friendly, attentive, and professional. Housekeeping also did an excellent job, and the room was spotless throughout our stay. However, the hotel itself feels very dated and run-down. The furniture, facilities, and overall atmosphere are old-fashioned and in need of significant renovation. It lacks the comfort and ambiance you would expect from a four-star hotel, especially considering the price. Rather than feeling like a relaxing resort, it felt tired and somewhat depressing. Another disappointment was the restaurant pricing. The food was expensive for what it offered. In fact, we had dinner at a beautiful restaurant in Porto Cervo the following evening, where we enjoyed a much better meal in a far more impressive setting and paid less. Overall, while the staff deserve full credit for their excellent service and the hotel is exceptionally clean, the property itself doesn’t justify its rates or its four-star classification. There are much better value options in the area, so unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

Amazing hotel. Room is smallish but clean and comfortable. Great receptionist especially Stefania who has gone out of her way to help us. Beach is right in front of the hotel. Absolutely lovely despite the sun lounges being expensive. 40 Euros for a full day per person. Breakfast is great. The only point to be improved is the garden shower close to the beach. The bottom was filthy, blocked with leaves and impossible to clean your feet there, let alone remove the sand from your body. I had reported it to the reception to no avail. This lasted for three days that we stayed on the hotel. The water at the bottom was stagnant and smelly. No one bothered to clean it.

Clean and staff were great. The cleaning staff were like ninjas, swoop in fast clean extra properly and you never saw them.

The things were thought could improve were variation in the morning breakfast. They served the same breakfast items every day. The other thing is the beach umbrella and lounges were only available for an extra charge or if you had the highest priced rooms you could use without a charge. I feel they should be included with the stay regardless of room level.

Les serveurs sont incompétents! 1h15 pour avoir 2 boissons sur la plage. Transats payants sur la plage de l’hôtel, je n’ai jamais vu ça (40€/2pers/jour!) Le restaurant est hyper bien noté sur les sites et Pourtant il n’est pas terrible

Avoid this hotel if you expect your reservation to actually exist. We booked a 10-day stay at The Pelican Beach Resort & Spa – Adults Only through Apollo over a month in advance. After travelling all the way to Sardinia, we arrived at the hotel only to be told that our reservation had been cancelled. The hotel claimed they had informed Apollo about the cancellation a month earlier. However, when we asked to see the email or any proof that this notification had been sent, they told us they no longer had it. This left us stranded at check-in with no room, no explanation, and no evidence to support their claim. Whether the mistake was made by the hotel or Apollo, the hotel had every opportunity to help resolve the situation, but instead we were simply told that the booking didn't exist. Being left without accommodation after international travel is unacceptable. If a booking is cancelled, there should be clear documentation and proactive communication—not for guests to discover it upon arrival. I hope neither future guests nor Apollo customers have to experience what we did.

Beim Personal war es wie lotto spielen entweder man hatte Glück oder eben nicht Service steht hier leider nicht im Vordergrund. 40e Euro pro Tag für Alu-Plastic Liegen am Strand. Am Pool kein Service und essen und trinken ist verboten. In der Lobi hats Ameisen. Abhol service am Flughafen wurde einfach vergessen und am telefon wurde mir dann gesagt, soll doch einfach ein Taxi nehmen. Keine wieder gutmachung oder eine Entschuldigung. Ich kam als Frau aleine um 22h nachts an, war nicht so toll. 4 Sterne nein aus meiner sicht eher ne 3. Beim check out wurde Kaugummi gekätscht meine Postkarte wollte nicht versendet werden obwohl sie schon Frankiert war. Hab dann Stunden später einen anderen Mitarbeiter gefragt( wuste der ist nett) er ja sicher kein Problem erledigen wir für si.

Personnel très accueillant et agréable, à la réception comme au restaurant, la gentillesse de tout le personnel a vraiment participé à la qualité du séjour ! Chambre très propre, confortable, ménage fait tous les jours. Bar-restaurant en face de l'hôtel avec une très jolie terrasse en bord de mer pour boire un verre en fin de journée ! Nous avons pris le diner et le petit-déjeuner sur place, tout est très bon. Facilité pour se garer dans la rue gratuitement. Proximité avec l'aéroport d'Olbia (20min en voiture).

L'hôtel est situé dans une zone résidentielle, très peu de restaurants ou de commerces à proximité, il vous faudra impérativement une voiture pour découvrir de plus jolis endroits en Sardaigne. La configuration de l'hôtel est particulière (piscine un peu coincée entre les chambres et la route, restaurant de l'autre côté de la route). Je m'attendais à plus chic au vu des photos et du prix. Tarif du restaurant également un peu élevés, (mais au moins c'est bon, contrairement aux autres restaurants à proximité).

We were disappointed with our stay and do not feel that the hotel offered good value for money. One of the biggest drawbacks was the gym, which is located outdoors and does not open until 7:30 a.m. With temperatures already reaching around 30°C in the morning, it is neither comfortable nor practical to exercise under those conditions. For a hotel in this price range, we expected better fitness facilities, such as earlier opening hours or an air-conditioned indoor gym. Overall, the experience did not meet our expectations, and we do not believe the hotel was worth the price.

El personal del bar fue siempre muy amable y cada día fue un momento especial.

Con una estancia de 10 días y un precio superior a los 3000 euros, es casi una descaro cobrar además a los huéspedes del hotel una tarifa de 40 euros por la sombrilla y la tumbona en la playa. El restaurante está bien, pero nada más. En la propia Olbia se puede encontrar una cocina mejor y más variada. Es comprensible que los horarios de salida sean vinculantes. Pero, en primer lugar, habría que ser un poco flexible y, en segundo lugar, utilizar un tono adecuado cuando se llega 30 minutos tarde.

Overall, it's a lovely hotel. Beach is great, room was lovely, very clean. Breakfast selection pleasant. Staff helpful.

There is not a huge amount around the hotel, so rental car really is needed, which you have to park in the street. Use of car park was an extra cost which I think is a shame given necessity of having a car there and prices you are already paying.

Solid 4.5 ! Lovely hotel with fabulous views! We stayed in the suite with an outdoor hot tub, and it was absolutely amazing. The room was huge and looked exactly like the marketing photos. We also had our own private outdoor space surrounded by a beautiful Mediterranean-style garden filled with trees and colourful flowers. The room was really clean, mini bar was quite pricey. The suite came with sun loungers, and we ended up spending most of our time at the beach. The water was crystal clear and fantastic for snorkelling. The cocktails were excellent, and the bar service was outstanding. Unfortunately, we didn’t get to use the pool or gym because the beach completely stole our hearts! The location is perfect, with a bus stop, supermarket, bakery, bars, and restaurants all within easy walking distance. A tip for future guests: Ubers can be quite expensive, so it’s worth downloading the local public transport app and using the buses instead. You can also hire a RIB boat right next door, which is a great bonus. Highly recommended—we’ll definitely be back!

Bed was very uncomfortable. Car hire through hotel not available during our stay and reception weren't able to tell us anymore about trips you can book on the hotel website. As soon as I booked I got a message about the sun loungers and I wish I'd cancelled at that point. It's a real shame you're only able to use the few sun loungers around the pool (which are by the road) for free if you're not in a garden room, particularly when the garden sun loungers were almost all unused throughout our stay and are a much nicer location over looking the beach. The beach sun loungers were €40 which was almost twice the price of a nearby beach and very expensive if you just want to sit there for an hour after a day trip.

Die Zimmer sind sauber und schön ausgestattet. Es ist alles da was es braucht. Das Personal ist freundlich. Das Essen abends im Restaurant ist wirklich gut, aber für jeden Tag etwas over the top. Es gibt nur wenige andere Restaurants in Gehdistanz.

Achtung: Wer die Bilder des Hotels anschaut, könnte auf die Idee kommen, es hätte im Garten der an den Strand grenzt genügend kostenlose Liegen für die Hotelgäste. Dem ist aber nicht so. Die Liegen im Garten sind für die Zimmerkategorien Deluxe Seeview, Suiten und Pelican Villas reserviert. Alle anderen Gäste schauen in die Röhre, resp. können sich mit den 10 unbequemen Liegen am kleinen Pool zur Strasse hin begnügen oder am Strand direkt vor dem Hotel für 1 Schirm und 2 Liegen jeden Tag 40 Euro zahlen. Und wenn man Pech hat, kriegt man wegen angeblich zu viel Wind noch nicht mal einen Schirm. Tipp: In der Bucht gleich nebenan gibt es ein Beachrestaurant mit Liegen für 30 Euro, Schirm auch bei Wind und freundlichem Personal. In anderen Rezensionen wird so vom Frühstücksbuffet geschwärmt. Dies kann ich leider nicht nachvollziehen. Das Frühstück ist von der Auswahl her allerhöchstens Durchschnitt.

The sea front view is fabulous. This is an 'adult' friendly hotels so it's very quiet and serene. Breakfast service staff were friendly and happy. Front office staff seem impatient. We are asians so maybe they are not used to seeing non asians. So, I would suggest recon sideration of choosing this hotel.

The extra charges for beach chair €40/day even though the hotel is supposed to have a private beach as one of it's unique selling points. It is acceptable to assume that beach amenities are included in the cost. So a word of caution to asian visitors here. 4 star here is not like in Asia. In addition, please ensure costs are emailed because we were told that parking in the garage is €20/day but upon checkout it was €25/day because it was high season (June). For this point we need to take responsibility for not checking the website ourselves......

Strandnutzung (Liegen/Schirme) nicht inbegriffen (30€/Tag, 20€/halber Tag). Frühstücksbüffet lecker, aber recht eintönig - nach einer Woche hätte man bestimmt genug 😉

My experience was disappointing from the moment I checked in. The overall atmosphere felt unwelcoming, and the staff at the front desk came across as rude and unprofessional. The rooms are very basic and do not match the premium image the hotel tries to project. Guests are told they have access to the “lounge” area, only to find that many of the seats are reserved for guests who have paid for higher-tier accommodations. This creates an uncomfortable and exclusionary experience. The photos used to advertise the property appear outdated and do not accurately reflect the current condition of the hotel. The restaurant was nearly empty during our stay, yet staff acted as though they were too busy to accommodate a reservation, which only added to the frustration. Overall, this property falls far short of the resort experience it promises. If you’re expecting a premium stay with attentive service and upscale amenities, you may be very disappointed. I would not recommend this hotel and would not stay here again.

EVERYTHING! The staff were kind, happy and my friend was gluten free and they could not do enough for her. On arrival at breakfast they had options ready and waiting. The buffet was outstanding. The hotel was clean and quite. We did go before the May half term so probably why it was not busy. The town was fantastic also. The room was clean and perfect. The view from the balcony was lovely! The beach (on the doorstep!!) was fantastic with a lovely guy called John taking care of us. Luigi and his team in the restuarant were fantastic, always happy to chat and help with anything! HIGHLY reccomend this place

Ristorazione eccellente: La qualità del cibo è davvero elevata, a partire dalla colazione — ricca e varia — fino alla cena, con piatti curati e deliziosi. Nota di merito anche per l'aperitivo, un momento di puro relax con ottimi drink e stuzzichini. Servizio spiaggia al top: Stabilimento pulito, organizzato e confortevole, ideale per godersi il mare in totale tranquillità. La chicca (Transit Room): Un'idea fantastica che abbiamo apprezzato tantissimo. Grazie alla disponibilità della transit room, abbiamo potuto sfruttare la spiaggia e il mare fino all'ultimo secondo prima della partenza, potendoci rinfrescare e cambiare in totale comodità. Staff e ospitalità: Il vero valore aggiunto della struttura. I camerieri e tutto il personale del servizio in generale sono stati impeccabili: sempre disponibili, sorridenti e pronti a soddisfare ogni nostra richiesta con grande professionalità.

Our stay was perfect. The classic room is simple, reasonable size, very comfortable, with mini-bar and a balcony with a small table and 2 chairs. The room and bathroom are spotless, and daily room cleaning is impeccable. Breakfast at Nuska Restaurant is delicious and offers a good variety of options. The whole team of the hotel and Nuska restaurant are kind, very professional and helpful. We enjoyed our stay very much!

Travelled late may and was such a relaxing stay, plenty of places on the grounds to chill out. The restaurant on site was incredible. Friendly staff and great service at the bar/beach club area. Location wise its further out but we ventured out (on foot) and found plenty of alternative dining options.

Le spa était très décevant, 20€ pour le jacuzzi qui marche à peine, avec l’eau froide.

Wir hatten ein schönes Zimmer mit Meerblick (gebucht) sehr gute feste Matratzen; Frühstück und Ambiente ausgezeichnet; freier Pool; gepflegte und saubere Anlage; außerhalb sehr vermüllt - typisch südländische Mentalität

Zusatzkosten von € 30. für Strandliegen, zumal das Schwimmen nur seitlich rechts des Hotels im öffentlichen Strandbereich möglich war. Einflugbereich von Olbia - aber erträglich.

A very large selection at the breakfast buffet. The bread and freshly baked croissants were excellent. The quality of the food itself was also outstanding. The room size was great. The cleaning service was also very good.

There was always a bad smell coming from the drain in the bathroom. The Location is almost too close to the airport.
