Die Lage des Hotels, die Gratisparkplätze beim Hotel, Frühstück auf der Terrasse, der grosse Pool...

Wir bekamen Zimmer 707 ganz hinten und oben in der verschachtelten Anlage. Der Weg mit Gepäck zum Zimmer benötigte zwei verschiedene Aufzüge und war mühsam zu finden, auch nachher verliefen wir uns regelmässig in der weitläufigen Anlage. Unbedingt ein Zimmer vorne mit Gartenanstoss reservieren!

Beautiful hotel and sanctuary for me due to the Los Gallardos wild fire and being evacuated. The staff were outstanding in particular Vanessa and Jose Mario on the reception team. They really looked after us.

A una playa buena hay que ir en coche 7min, aunque se aparcaba bien. Menú corto si estás una semana o más, sobre todo si eres alérgico.

The hotel showing a swimming pool was in fact a building site together with the construction of a swimming. The management claim all agents including Easyjet were notified that construction commenced March 2026 and due for completion July 2026.

La piscina exterior estaba en obras. No lo avisaron en ningún momento y no hubo ningún tipo de compensación por no poder usarla sin saberlo, a pesar de hablar con recepción. Ahí la atención al cliente falló. Además, que se sepa que no se pueden guardar los puntos de Amigos de Paradores si la reserva se hace a través de Booking.com

Die Lage hat uns gefallen. Frühstück war ausreichend, allerdings zu wenig Personal.

Eine Frechheit war es, dass wir erst 2 Tage vor unserer Anreise mitgeteilt bekamen, dass der Swimmingpool umgebaut bzw. erneuert wird. Die Fertigstellung soll Mitte Juli 2026 erfolgen, was nach dem derzeitigen Baufortschritt unmöglich erscheint. Man hätte uns schon direkt nach unserer Buchung informieren müssen, dass sich die Anlage im Umbau befindet (neben dem Pool auch Zimmer). Wir hätten storniert und die Preise nicht akzeptiert. Vor Ort gab es keine Begründung, keine Aufmerksamkeit, nichts. Die Mitarbeiter konnten bestimmt nichts dafür und waren froh, nicht angesprochen zu werden. Hier handelt es sich um einen klaren Managementfehler der Unternehmensleitung. Man ist sogar so dreist, den derzeitigen Zustand der Anlage nicht auf der Homepage zu beschreiben, sondern die anreisenden Gäste vor vollendete Tatsachen stellt und sich nicht einmal erklärt!

A piscina estava em obras, muito barulho e ninguém avisou quando fiz a reserva em março, e já estava em obras na altura, conforme informação de um funcionário. Fui pela piscina, pois as reviews diziam muito bem. Não fizeram nenhum upgrade ao quarto, e, estando pouquíssimas pessoas puseram-nos num quarto com outras pessoas ao lado, barulho, o ar condicionado funcionava mal, fazia barulho, chamámos o funcionário que disse que era normal...o apoio do rolo do papel higiénico estava partido e estava sempre a cair, já estive noutros, muitos, paradores e todos tinham uma garrafa de água de cortesia, este não...aliás...tinha a saboneteira do bidé...mas não tinha sabão...

Todo muy bien aunque en desayuno y comida todos ivan corriendo dentro del restaurante o sea muy rápido y eso daba una imagen extraña. Cuando alquilé decía que habían obras yo nunca leí que era la piscina que justo la arreglan al llegar el verano. Por ese motivo nos fuimos antes de tiempo

Het zwembad wordt verbouwd en je kunt er niet zwemmen. Het terrein is momenteel een bouwput en als je dat niet weet, dan is dat een teleurstelling. Het personeel reageerde wel erg begripvol.

Extensive renovation works being carried out including re-making of pool which had not been notified to us. Seaview room destroyed by building works. Painting of our corridor with continual smells of paint in room. Aircon didn't work - no fans available as an alternative.

Wish I'd read the comments here and I could have cancelled. As you drive into the hotel, past the skip, mechanical digger and a vast array of building materials, the noise hits you immediately, together with the realisation that there is no longer a pool, despite photos still appearing on the website. The superior sea view room we paid a considerable amount for was noisy with a terrible outlook onto the works. We changed to a standard room which overlooked other bedroom balconies but first had to negotiate the painters and dust sheets as the corridor was being painted. We were offered a credit of the difference between the 2 rooms which we took as 2 breakfasts and a credit in the bar. Their definition of bar was a sofa in the dining room together with the other guests having their evening meal. The aircon unit blew out a pathetic waft of warm air which did nothing to dispel the odour of paint . We've stayed at several Parador hotels, including this one previously, and always had excellent service and facilities, but not to be informed of all this renovation work is a huge lack of respect to the guests.

Major construction work taking place in the pool area. Therefore the pool and surrounding facilities were out of use. Bar consisted of a small table with no proper bar facilities. Restaurant looked uninviting due to same construction work and view of the refurbishment. 50% of the facilities out of use but 100% of the price.

The extensive building work at the former pool area ruined this stay. There is no information on the website and the Hotel did not inform me this work was going on after or during the booking process. This lack of transparency led us into a situation where I could not make an informed choice and cancel the booking before arrival. The pool area is a real mess and I seriously doubt it will be completed before August. The Bar (a makeshift table) and restaurant did not look appealing so we ate out and are leaving without taking up the offer of breakfast. I write this at 5am from my room dissatisfied and can't wait to leave. My advice, cancel your reservation if you can until the work is completed.

Location was great. Outside terrace was a bonus.

The pool was under going renovation works. So no pool to enjoy. You couldnt use the communal terrace as the construction site was an eyesore. The gym and the spa were also out of use! There was no apology, not even a free breakfast or bottle of wine, let alone money back. A hotel with no pool or spa is half the price. Disgusting for a hotel of this standard to not address this. We heard 3 couples complain and check out early. Luckily our stay was only for a weekend.

The was the first Parador we ever stayed at back in 2014. The hotel remains the same and the staff friendly. The huge negative was the construction zone outside our window with workers completely reworking the pool area beginning at 8am each day. I can understand guests being irate when they were expecting a pool and there is none. Even the view to the ocean was obstructed. Check in was easy and there is free parking, but it can fill up. There are EV charging points. The room was nothing fancy, but completely adequate. Complimentary water was provided as was a pot for boiling water. There was a do not drink the tap water sticker in the bathroom, so I’m not sure why water glasses were in there. The breakfast buffet is standard for a Parador, but I’m not a big fan of birds flying into the dining room and walking on tables, napkins, etc. While the hotel itself was fine until the construction is completed, I’d avoid it.

We were booked into a suite on the ground floor. Our room’s terrace was a few metres away from a large construction site as the hotel were building a new pool and surrounding gardens. Lots of dust and noise. We refused the room and were offered another ground floor suite with similar issues. We refused this room and changed to a smaller double room on a higher floor albeit still overlooking the building site. The hotel should never have tried to sell these rooms and if so have been at a circa 50-75% discount. Very disappointing. Fortunately we only stayed one night. Also hotel restaurant only opened at 8pm.

Wir waren bei unserer Tour durch Andalusien zwei Mal in diesem Hotel. Das erste Mal in einem renovieren Zimmer, das zweite Mal in einem "alten" Zimmer. Doch beide Male waren wir sehr zufrieden.

Aussen wurde den Pool umgebaut, spielte für uns keine Rolle, da es beide Male geregnet hat.

Bedden waren super.

Très belle chambre. Très beau cadre et emplacement. Le petit déjeuner était excellent dont le vrai chocolat chaud.

L'accueil et l'attente, le personnel semblait stressé et nous a même pas indiqué les horaires de petit déjeuner. L'espace vert devant l'hôtel est en travaux c'était dommage pour la vue de la terrasse.

We booked on January. About the end of March we had an email to say the pool would be closed until about July. We like the hotel so decided to keep the booking. I invited them to think about a discount. Before leaving the hotel I reminded reception of my request. They said the pool does not open til May anyway. I thought their attitude was not gracious. I noticed that the younger female receptionists have a problem walking. On a number of occasions they were unable to move to show us things. All other staff were very helpful and polite indeed.

Pool was under construction but didn’t affect us at all. Was too old to swim anyway.

The location is good and the bar and restaurant staff were very good. The room was large and comfortable.

When we booked not that far ahead we were not told that the swimming pool would be closed for refurbishment, there would be no fitness room and no bar / canteen, only that menu served within a section of the restaurant. The one meal we had there was appalling, we had to send both meals back as they were cold and undercooked they came back hot but still under-done and we only ate half.

Great location and helpful staff. The extra bed in our room was removed immediately as we didn't need it.

The booking process was not straightforward regarding choice of room. I wanted a room with a double bed. The options were twin beds or a double bed with a 3rd bed in the room. And, of course, the swimming pool renovation is an issue, affecting noise (though not too much) and traffic (I had to wait 10 minutes for a truck to move out as it was blocking my car). But if there is no pool in the summer, this is bad news.

A last minute staycation. A modern hotel with very comfortable rooms. Friendly and efficient customer service. The breakfast buffet was excellent with a variety of cold options and hot food made to order. The only downside was the pool and open area refurb. The pool, spa and gym closure was noted while booking the stay. Being a Sunday there was no work and on Monday the work started just about 0830. Had we been staying longer then the construction noise would have become a bit tiresome.

Major Building works going on on pool and pool area, asked for a discount due to this or maybe a complimentary breakfast but no they would not, such bad customer service I was shocked as paid a lot of money for our superior rooms over looking a noisy building site

Vanwege het seizoen waren faciliteiten niet beschikbaar of in onderhoud. Dit is op zich begrijpelijk maar dan mag de kamerprijs hierop wel aangepast worden.

Nous passons toujours d'excellent séjours dans cet hôtel. Le dévouement du personnel pour nous faciliter la vie est extraordinaire, la propreté des lieux est parfaite, le calme est au rendez-vous pour se bien reposer. Le petit-déjeuner est varié et satisfait tous les goûts. Tous les mets sont 'fait-maison' et sont d'excellente qualité.

La piscina estaba en obras por lo que no pude utilizarla, el gimnasio y el spa no podían utilizarse porque se habian dañado debido a las obras de la piscina, creo que este tipo de cosas se deben informar cuando se hace la reserva

Wij zijn eerder vertrokken. Er is een grote renovatie bezig die niet wordt benoemd op de eigen site en op Booking Com. Zeer teleurstellend. We konden nergens buiten zitten en ook niet op het zgn. terras bij het restaurant. Er is geen gescheiden deel bar en restaurant wat er heel vreemd uitziet. Verder is de kwaliteit van het ontbijt goed maar het avondeten is niet aan te raden. Erg duur en er komen geen groenten bij. Het personeel en management is ook niet gelukkig met deze situatie. Het is onbegrijpelijk dat deze grote renovatie niet wordt genoemd!!
