Hotel Plaza Cavana

Camas y almohada muy cómoda. Ubicación excelente. Atención del personal sobresaliente.

location perfect centre of main town so you can walk off to either direction so clean even sun beds washed daily

no blackout curtains on window or door to sun roof so therefore early sun shining through sides of roman blinds , waking us up very early! also evening sunset was very bright in room so blurred vision. maybe hotel could add these as well can be done , curtain rail above window with curtain pullable to the right only , we were in rooftop room with pool access

Room & location

A fantastic hotel in a brilliant location

Nothing could be faulted, an ideal hotel offering everything we requied

The best location ever Room nice and clean

Fabulous location and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Got great tips for restaurants and beaches

Loved everything!

Tout

The location of the property is fantastic, right in the very heart of Nerja. The property has a rooftop pool which overlooks the street scenes and has an extended view of the ocean and mountains. The hotel is very clean, the staff are excellent throughout and the breakfast is varied and of good quality, especially the Spanish omelette.

The pool bar doesn’t open until almost midday which is okay for some and makes the pool area peaceful. However it shuts about 6pm so enjoying an evening drink ahead of dinner was out of the question. You can watch other rooftop hotels enjoying evening drinks as you take your picnic water up to the roof. Seems a wasted opportunity.

The hotel is located in a lovely square right in the city centre. It has been renovated and is comfortable, clean, and welcoming. The highlight is definitely the rooftop pool, which offers beautiful views over the city. The staff were also lovely and very helpful. Overall, a great place to stay in a fantastic location.

The TV couldn't be connected via internet to the phone. Old system.

Location was excellent, very clean, staff very friendly.

The hotel was fantastic. The staff were friendly and really helpful in the run-up to the stay and whilst I was there. The location is perfect for the Balcon de Europa and the nearby car park underneath the Plaza de España was well located to the hotel (a 4 minute walk). The parking wasn’t the cheapest, but for the location it was worth it in my opinion. Before my arrival Raul contacted me via WhatsApp to organise checking in a few days before and was very helpful giving me information I needed before my stay. Once I arrived the staff were great also. I saw some comments about the heat in the room and the noise from outside. I found no issues with either once windows were closed. The AC worked great and cooled the room quickly on a very hot arrival day. The noise was typical of a Spanish town hotel with the occasional moped going past. Not an issue for me at all when the windows were closed. The bed was really comfortable and the room had everything I needed for a short trip. A kettle, fridge, warm shower and more space than I expected. There was also a vending machine downstairs for water and snacks if needed.

Nothing!

La tranquilidad de la zona

Todo

nulla

Close to everything. Clean. Quiet

Could fault nothing

Location and available staff

Room was too claustrophobic and dark. It had a very small doow window for natural light right next to the bed and facing an inner court - it was either zero privacy or zero light… I also hate that they would give out daily rations of body soap and other bathroom equipment: this meant you could only take one shower a day…

Su situacion.

La limpieza era bastante regular.

Location… nice helpful staff .. clean

Nothing to dislike

All in my last reviews .. hence I stayed again and have booked again

Nothing to dislike

Great location , very clean

The location was perfect, really close to the square, the hotel was bright and clean and staff were very friendly.

The pool is very small so it was very hard to get sunbeds .

Very clean and comfortable

Very near everything good location

Great location Cute pool bar

No single bed option

The staff are all excellent, the location and views from the rooms are excellent

Nothing

Sentralt, basseng. God kontakt via whatsapp.

The location is amazing! Very central. Loads around and very handy if you are there for a wedding like we were. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Pool area is nice, quite small so not sure how it accommodates the whole hotel but it never looked to be too

Breakfast wasn’t great- double bed was too singles pushed together.

Todo

Jose was fabulous!

Posizione

Muy buena ubicación, y súper, súper limpio.

Excellent staff. The hotel out on a little party for the ESP Vs BEL - lovely tapas and fast beer service. What more could you want!

Location was perfect

Noisy. It’s a small boutique type hotel but had a few very noisy young adults in large family groups that removed all the tranquility we previously enjoyed at this small hotel in a quiet town

Location is excellent.

Struggle for sunbeds around the pool.

Perfect location, lovely staff, rooms were ideal for a few day stay.

Air conditioning wasn’t the best and the pool was quite small so getting a bed was difficult. But it’s perfect for a few days stay!

Very central beautiful room well equipped and lovely staff

Breakfast expensive

Great location, very central, loved the peaceful atmosphere & pool area.

Wifi not secure!

Everything else was perfect

More sunbeds ans umbrellas needed. And double bed

Lovely hotel. Have stayed several times. Very nice staff, rooms and interior. Excellent location

Very friendly staff, good breakfast, good location, very clean.new bottle of water in the room every day.

There were rules for using the pool, unfortunately very few people showered before swimming, although the sign was quite clear. Maybe a larger sign where the shower is would help?🤷‍♂️ We realise that it's difficult to control as the majority of people are completely .....

Room, location, quiet, rooftop sunbeds with staffed little bar, kettle, fridge in the room. Reception staff very nice. Thank you Marta

Maybe the bar looks dated and not very inviting. No parking.

Clean friendly good location

Nothing it was great

Localização, quarto e chuveiro, simpatia da recepcionista Marta.Hotel muito gracioso.

Não teve.

The property was very central to the beach, restaurants and perfect for us whilst getting married here

We cannot fault the property

Location

Very central

Beds aren’t the most comfortable

Fantastic central location, great rooftop terrace with pool

Breakfast was very underwhelming which fortunately for us we didn’t book but just had it on our first day

Location was excellent, room was spotless, tea, coffee facilities in room, water replaced daily/ when empty.

Noisy when residents came in late, also every time a nearby bedroom opened/closed. Breakfast was overpriced for what was included so ate out.

all very good

Location and cleanliness

A little difficult to find driving

Location is perfect and staff are so lovely. Rooms are small but beds and pillows are comfortable.

Lift only to 2nd floor so it’s a struggle getting luggage up higher than 2nd floor.

Så rent och fint på alla sätt

Gillade allt

Great location ....loved the room and balcony

Muy céntrico está todo cerca

The location was excellent

There was far too much noise, and not from outside in the square. That we could barley hear. It was the noise from inside. It was furniture being dragged in other rooms, it was the maids trolleys. The noise just vibrated through the room. Breakfast set up we heard from our room, plates etc banging.. I presume it because of the floors are made of tile that the sound resonated. The noise seems excessive compared to other places we stayed before. Some pads under the furniture or rubber tyres on the trolleys would make a massive difference.

central location , very clean, welcoming staff

Could be noisy at times due to the very central location Pool towels were exchanged for an extra laundry charge

Staff location rooftop pool

Room A bit small

Brilliant location. Very clean hotel. We loved the rooftop pool and cafe bar. Everything was great.

We chose the cheapest comfort room however the window overlooked the inner walls so no view at all.

Staff were excellent, facilities were first class, location was wonderful food was good can’t praise the hotel one little bit, would go there again

View from bedroom window

Location and lovely interior, staff so friendly and helpful tea & coffee water in the room

Nothing

Breakfast was great although location of hotel gave other options

Not applicable

Excellent location - very central to bars, restaurants & the Balcon

Lift only went to 2nd floor - stairs a bit steep

This was our second stay at Hotel Plaza Cavana and it certainly won’t be our last. From start to finish, everything is just so easy. The option to check in the day before is a brilliant touch and makes arrival completely hassle-free. The staff are absolutely lovely — friendly, welcoming and always happy to help. The rooms are spotless, comfortable and perfect for relaxing after a day out. You really couldn’t ask for a better location, right in the heart of Nerja with everything on your doorstep. The pool area may be on the smaller side, but it’s very comfortable and never feels overcrowded, and the pool bar is a lovely spot to unwind. Overall, a fantastic stay once again. Highly recommend.

Perfect location, brilliant staff, good breakfast. Very clean hotel.

Nothing

Really friendly and helpful staff. Great location and the room we had was very spacious and comfortable.

The Staff, cleanliness, location to the main square

Everything great location friendly staff

I would like to thank the kind and honest staff as I left quite an expensive and sentimental bag behind. About 2 hours after check out I received a message with a photo of the bag and informing me I left it behind. Thankfully I some family were still in Nerja and could pick it up for me. Outstanding , helpful, kind staff.

Location, Room, Brightness, Decor, Staff, Pool

Location excellent, staff amazing helpful and friendly

The location was excellent, very clean and staff were very friendly and helpful.

Nothing

What a little gem! This was a perfect base allowing us to explore what Nerja had to offer. This hotel is compact but has everything you need. Our room was located at the back of the hotel and we had no noise whilst resting. The room was compact but very clean and useable. Shower was hot and powerful, bed was very comfortable there was a dressing table and full size mirror in the room along with a chair. We will be returning! We can not comment on the breakfast due to us not eating at the hotel.

For the price and the quality, I'm not too sure what I could place here.

Wonderful central location for this modern, spacious hotel. Well appointed, spotlessly clean and comfortable. But what makes this hotel stand out is the exceptional staff. All made our stay a pleasure from start to finish.

Nothing to dislike.

The hotel is right in the centre, spotlessly clean and the staff were exceptionally helpful. A lovely place to stay

Nothing

Small friendly extremely central and lovely hotel .

Not much clothes storage,

This place is fantastic and just ideal for anyone who wants to be central.... the staff are beyond friendly and soo professional ...I would highly recommend this place for anyone wanting their ideal weekend im Nerja.

Location was fantastic. Very clean everywhere

No había parking disponible.

Great location, room and facilities. Breakfast good if pricey, plenty of choices just outside the front door.

Some of the staff were unapproachable.

The views were breathtaking and there was ample selection at breakfast. Wonderful location in central Nerja!

Friendly staff, spotless, beautiful room and great breakfast
