Andere Gäste haben ihre Kinder wild im Hotel, Pool und Restaurant herumflitzen lassen. Das könnte das Personal aus Rücksicht auf seine ruhigeren Gäste besser unterbinden.

Stanze belle ma con poca provaci.. camera familiare e vetro nella doccia che dà sulla camera… piscina interna ed esterna fredda. Questo un vero peccato! Esterna non è stata sfruttabile e sarebbe bastato solo qualche grado in più. Cena con scelte limitate.

Ein wirklich schönes, kleines Hotel mit allen Annehmlichkeiten, die man sich wünschen kann. Das Abendmenü war ausgezeichnet – abwechslungsreich und geschmacklich auf hohem Niveau. Das gesamte Haus war sehr sauber und die Zimmer angenehm komfortabel. Besonders hervorzuheben ist der Wellnessbereich: ein Schwimmbad innen und außen sowie ein Spa-Bereich, der sowohl für Kinder als auch als Adults-only-Zone genutzt werden kann – so kommt hier wirklich jeder auf seine Kosten. Die Lage ist sehr gut, ideal für Ausflüge in die Region. Ein großes Plus ist die Gästekarte: Damit sind kostenlose Seilbahnfahrten sowie Ermäßigungen im gesamten Gebiet Saalfelden Leogang inklusive. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Etwas Luft nach oben gibt es allerdings bei den inkludierten Leistungen: Für den gebotenen Preis hätten wir erwartet, dass Kaffee zum Kuchen sowie alkoholfreie Getränke aus dem „Zapfhahn“ Mittags und am Abend inklusive sind. Auch beim Kindermenü am Abend wäre etwas mehr Kreativität super, zum Beispiel mit einer größeren Auswahl an geschnittenem Rohkost.

Das Personal war top. Die Sauberkeit prima. Parkplätze. Sehr gutes Essen!

Amazing selection at the buffet breakfast.

Loved the pool area, outdoor tables, location, free public transport card, beautiful room, and friendly staff.

Beds were not comfy (very thin mattresses) and the lack of air conditioning (which I kind of understand since it’s Austria) made for very uncomfortable nights unfortunately.

Top freundliches Personal, sehr zuvorkommend, super Shuttle zum Lift, tolles Ambiente, traumhafter Spa und Pool. Das Abendessen war sensationell: vom Radieschensorbet über Beef Tartar zum geniales Steak und perfekten Schnitzel.

Einzige Macke war das Salatbuffet und es ließ sehr zu wünschen übrig: "Eingelegte Salate" und selbst der Blattsalat war nicht frisch und trocken. Für diese großartige Dinnerküche eigentlich unverständlich.

Der moderne Teil des Hotels, sowie der wirklich beheizte Außenpool. Auch die Lage ist super! Das Rezeptionspersonal war sehr hilfsbereit. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen.

Ich selbst bin kein Fan von dem rustikalen Teil, aber das ist natürlich Geschmacksache

The staff were wonderful, from the moment of walking in it felt very welcoming. We arrived a little later because of a travel day but it was very easy. During our travel day in other parts of Austria, I got food poisoning from another location (a takeaway food chain - NOT FROM THIS HOTEL) and by the time we arrived to this hotel, I was starting to feel unwell. The next day, the full sickness kicked in and the staff here were amazing and they need to be highlighted for this stay. They gave hot water ginger lemon, heated my heat pillow, continually checked in at meal times offering soups or alternative foods because I couldn’t eat. Despite feeling incredibly unwell, they made me feel at home and comfortable at best they could. The beds were comfy, the bathroom is very spacious. My partner loved the food, and the one meal I could eat was all gluten free. The location is very pretty, the mountain views were fantastic! We are really loved it here, especially on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day! Would recommend!

Ein kleines familiäres geführtes Hotel wo Hunde auch willkommen sind.

Der Aussenpool was sehr kalt und der Wellness Bereich ist nicht auf einer Ebene. Entweder Sauna im 5. Stock oder im Untergeschoss und dann noch mal mit Lift hinauf zum Pool. Beim Frühstück ist mir der Lachs abgegangen. Der Ort selber ist sehr klein hier hätten wir uns mehr erwartet.

Eine Kleinigkeit, aber eine ärgerliche: Leitungswasser wird als „Granderwasser“ zum Essen verkauft….

Gefallen hat mir das überaus gute Personal, welches meinen Patenonkel und mich überauß großartig aufgenommen hat. Der Willkommentrink und das Frühstück waren selbst für ein Kind sehr gut. Wir waren noch dazu relativ allein im Wellnessbereich. Der Patenonkel war vor allem von der Schönheit angetan. Er ist jetzt nicht gerade der einfachste zum Überzeugen.

Wenn schon ein Whirlpool ausgeschrieben ist, wäre es natürlich gut, einen zu haben. Die Spezialangebote können auch von einem anderen Hotel aus konsumiert werden, wie Kegeln, Wasserski und Golf, wie auf der Webseite besonders hervorgehoben. Hier bin ich aber schon sehr kritisch!

Alles. Essen war sehr gut. Personal war sehr nett. Sehr schönes Hotel. Wellnessbereich toll. Toller warmer Pool. Tiefgarage zum parken. Jeden Tag am Tisch, eine Broschüre, was man an dem Tag machen kann.

Jammer auf hohem Niveau. Unser Zimmer hatte zwischen Bett und Badezimmer, eine Glaswand. Vielleicht könnte man den mittleren Teil mit matter Folie abdecken. Ansonsten fand ich es sehr witzig und anderes😊.

Very pleasant hotel in a picturesque town. Stylishly furnished with positive energy and modernly furnished rooms with a beautiful view of the mountains and comfortable beds. 5-course dinner and excellent breakfast with fresh juices and everything that belongs to a quality hotel breakfast. Very pleasant and helpful staff gives this family hotel a specific charm. Nice wellness and pools, lots of interesting activities in the area. Ideal with children or a dog. I have been to dozens of 5 stars hotels from China to America, but this setup and overall impression surpasses all of them and we will be happy to return here.

Staff were super helpful for the duration of our stay. We travelled with a 10 week old baby and they did all they could to accommodate us. made it really easy and special for our 1st trip as a family. The heated outdoor pool is excellent and we got a free ski pass for the day to go on the mountain as we were not skiing. a lovely little bonus. The dinner was great too. for €30 we had a varying 5 course meal that was tasty and quality. all in all, I would highly recommend. Thanks guys for being so great!

Was lovely, front desk staff and well in fact all staff were friendly and helpful except our first day they left us stranded at Asitz bit think this was due to language barrier. Hotel was clean and our room beautiful

I was very impressed with the staff across the board, they were helpful at every turn - even making food for us when the kitchen was closed. They made our stay very enjoyable and would definitely stay in Der Löwe again

Das Hotel liegt in Leogang etwas abseits von der Haupstraße und von den Liftanlagen. Man kann aber den kostenlosen Ortsbus zu den Talstationen nehmen. Im Sommer ist in der Gästekarte die Benutzung der Bergbahnen in Leogang und in Saalbach-Hinterglemm enthalten. Das Hotel macht von Außen einen etwas unscheinbaren Eindruck, ist aber innen sehr gemütlich eingerichtet. Das Foyer, das Kaminzimmer und vor allem die Hotelbar empiehlt sich als Aufenthaltsort

Sehr empfehlenswertes Hotel mit neu renovierten Zimmern. Sehr freundlicher Empfang. Das Receptionsteam nimmt sich viel Zeit für Erklärungen was man unternehmen und besichtigen kann. Das Frühstücksbuffet bietet eine große Auswahl an Speisen. Beim Abendessen kann man a la Card essen oder das Menü für die Halbpensionsgäste nehmen. Leider gibt es kein Salatbüffet mehr. Die Zimmer sind modern und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Leider sind die Preise für die Suiten sehr hoch.

Das Hotel liegt ruhig etwas abseits der Strasse mit Blick auf die Landschaft. Es gibt einen großen Frühstücks und Gastronomie Bereich im ländlichen aber schönen Stil. Der Wellness Bereich hat einen Indoor Pool leider mit fehlender Aussicht, dafür aber einen neuen kleinen & schönen Teil, was für mich wichtig ist. Die Zimmer sind groß und sauber und werden heuer modernisiert. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und werde gerne wiederkommen. 39 Euro für die HP als Zusatz finde ich etwas überzogen, €25 wären ok.

Ich hatte einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt , alles hat geklappt und ich habe mich sehr Wohlgefühls, man merkt das hier alles gut läuft und die Besitzer sind immer da und schauen ob alles in Ordnung geht .

Sehr schönes und geräumiges Zimmer mit Terasse. Freundlicher Empfang. Leider wirkt das Personal im Restaurant etwas hecktisch und nervös. Die unnötige Unruhe stört, dauernd wird bereits beim Frühstück der Tisch abgeräumt und nachgefragt ob alles passt. Auch die sprachlichen Stärken zeigen beim Bedienpersonal im Restaurant die ein oder ander Lücke. Schade, sonst ein prima Hotel.

Kom med tåg till Leogang, blev hämtad på tågstationen. Hotellet erbjud ett rabattkort gratis vilket erbjöd bla en gratis resa med skidliften per dag. Fantastisk frukost och två olika pooler. Tummen upp!!

I seriously cannot fault this hotel in any way. The room and balcony was great. The bed and bedding was really comfy. The room was well lit, spacious and warm. The breakfast and dining facilities were amazing, so much to choose from. I will definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

Angenehme Atmosphäre, nettes Personal, gutes Essen

Barbara and her lovely team did a wonderful job making us feel very welcome and looked after. Nothing was too much trouble and all the staff were so friendly. The hotel is well located in the town village, 15 minute walk to the train station. We had a 2 bedroom room which was very spacious and comfortable. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to visit this region.
