Reviewed Sep 8, 2026Everything was likeable and wonderfully kept. I genuinely enjoyed my stay/sanctuary and loved the vibe. It was peaceful, evocative and historic in its own quirky way.
I only felt that my sheets had not been properly washed. Luckily it was a double bed so I shifted to the other side, else everything was really well kept and cleaned.

Reviewed Aug 22, 2026Struttura pulita e stanza accogliente. La zona è tranquilla e ci sono alcuni ristoranti nelle vicinanze, tra cui un’ottima birreria. Il gestore ha organizzato per noi il viaggio in taxi verso l’aeroporto.
L’orario di inizio della colazione è troppo tardi, noi siamo partiti per l’aeroporto alle 7.30 e non abbiamo potuto fare la colazione.

Reviewed Mar 31, 2026Beautiful house with leafy surrounds yet minutes from the city. Quiet refuge from the bustle of Bangalore. Everything in the room was perfect. And a lovely veranda to sit on outside. It was one of the nicest places I stayed on my seven week journey in Southern India.
I had a taxi booked for 4am in the morning but everyone was asleep. It took a while to find anyone to unlock the gate!

We were very happy with all aspects of our stay. Occasionally the wifi was less strong in our room than in the lobby.

Reviewed Mar 14, 2026Ich hatte einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt. Die Lage ist angenehm ruhig und es sind nur wenige Minuten zu Fuß zur nächsten Metrostation. Alles ist super sauber und hübsch eingerichtet. Das Personal ist freundlich, hilfsbereit und sehr höflich. Das Frühstück war köstlich! Ich habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt.
Es ist ein bisschen dunkler/schattiger als auf den Fotos.

Rooms were clean and tidy, facilities were good, the staff were very helpful and the atmosphere was very welcoming. Much more enjoyable than the anonymous “businessman’s hotels” that are now so common in Indian cities. Will definitely stay at the Laika in future.

Appartement situé au premier étage. Beaucoup de charme, très propre et soigneusement aménagé, décoré avec une touche coloniale. Espaces communs qui permettent de manger ou de se relaxer Chambre confortable Petit-déjeuner servi autour d'une petite table commune, l’occasion d’échanger avec d’autres voyageurs. Service aimable Bon rapport qualité prix. Petit kiosque juste à côté qui propose eau, friandises et choses à grignoter

The ac was broken for half of the stay but got fixed. A few pieces of furniture looked a bit worn out but nothing bad at all.

Certaines personnes du groupe de 4 amies ont entendus les bruits de la route .... les boules qu'ils peuvent être utiles pour les personnes sensibles.
