Happy with breakfast and all round experience. Location close to major road handy when travelling from outside local area.

Pub area was nice
Room was very small couldn’t swing a cat in the bathroom.
Everything excellent. Could not fault anything. Food great, atmosphere great and staff great.
Guests need to be quiet late at night...
There wasn’t a lot to admire about the property at all and I’d struggle to pinpoint anything in particular. The view of it in my rear view mirror?
A bit grubby. Sticky dining tables. The rooms were romanticised in the images on the site. The first room they put me in smelt strongly of damp and I requested to be moved. The next room had cushions on the bed that smelt vile, stains on the pillow cases. It all felt a bit ick.

It's my second stay and once again didn't disappoint. The welcome from staff again is warm and positive. The atmosphere in the bar and conservatory is lovely. Food lovely, plenty of choice and generous portions and breakfast very hearty again lots of choice. The room is very well decorated and bed comfortable. The location of this Inn is a short drive to beach and town centre . Very good value. We'll definitely be back. Highly recommended.
Nothing to complain about!
Great location for exploring Seaham beach. Pub and building was really individually decorated and had a nice atmosphere. Breakfast was great 👍
Room was mid refurbishment.
Better than a big chain
Tables in restaurant weren’t clean, either at dinner or breakfast. My car was covered in bird droppings the next morning - don’t park under the trees
Comfy bed and great food .

The staff make this lovely hotel and bar exceptional
Family rooms in separate block and we were only family in with lots of contractors , but to be fair they were quiet and respectful we were there
Restaurant and bar, food and service all great.
We had to call emergency contact as our card access didn't work after midnight.
Near the town centre and beach 🏖️ always friendly faces and helpful staff

Kitchen closed bang on 9pm Even ice cream was not available
Rooms lovely , great breakfast and staff very helpful and friendly
We didn’t realise until we arrived that the hotel is getting renovated , the hallways were covered in wet paint and our room stunk of paint , had to sleep with window open to air out smell as it was so strong .
Clean and staff were first class
Hotel grrat location for wedding at Dalton Pump House. Hotel staff were all very friendly. Food was good especially breakfast. Rooms were really comfortable. Hotel is under refurbishment but we hardly knew it was going on.
Nothing all was goid
Amazing staff and food, lovely bar, and outdoor seating areas. Perfect location for the event we were attending.
The room was good enough size for a one night stay and was clean but found it a little dark, slightly dated, and there was a little bit of an aroma that wasn't too pleasant. Bathroom would benefit from a storage shelf for toiletries. However, refurbishments are ongoing, so hopefully, that will resolve these issues. The pro's definitely outweigh the current cons, and I would absolutely return in the future.
Close to beach, bonus for us!
Everything was great
Good location short drive to Seaham. Comfy big bed. Didn't use the restaurant or bar but was good to have that option. On site free parking was good.
Too many stairs, no lift, made carrying heavy luggage a struggle. Chair was dirty, looked like muddy paw prints, should have been cleaned, I had asked for a room that does not allow pets. Hair in bed.
Great welcome, location, food.
Pub is lovely, breakfast and dinner were really good.
The shower in our room was not great, a real stuggle to turn off and in need of an upgrade.
Room was good. Restauraunt and bar was good.
I wasn't made aware of refurbishments in progress until after booking. I found a Stanley knife blade outside our room.
Staff was so warm and friendly.
Breakfast was a bit dry and tasteless.
The location was excellent . Very good value for money . Little extras like doggy treats and biscuits . Food was good in bar. Friendly staff
There was a leak from the shower under the floor which meant the carpet outside the room was sodden so every time you went to the bathroom you had to remember to hop over it . We notified the staff on check out so hopefully it will get sorted .
Everything….. and it’s in my home town….
Nothing….
Such a Tranquil beautiful setting.
Wifi was a huge issue in the room.
Was all reasonable.
From arrival to leaving the next morning I had a lovely stay. The staff were so friendly and the hotel has such a lovely feel to it. Glass of wine was one of the nicest pale rose I have had. Perfectly chilled. Breakfast was superb. Would recommend and absolutely stay again.
Dinner was lovely. So good.
Couldn’t get WiFi in the room. But it was fine because we got it downstairs
Pub was lovely,staff was great
Pets allowed in rooms,we should have asked the question about pets being allowed,so it’s partly our fault, and will be asking Booking.Com to start stating what Hotels,B&Bs allow pets to stop, room did smell abit of dog??and room by us had 2 dogs with them!! Tv was abit of a problem too, kept losing picture??
Modern and clean, great location and staff was very friendly during our stay.

Room was nice…king-size bed & bunkbeds. Good shower pressure. Lots of parking. Quiet.
Loose glass shelf in shower. Couldn’t get towel warmer to work.
Location and the convenience of parking outside room
Hard pillows and our door would band and rattler when the outside door was opened or closed, couldn't stop it no matter what I tried

Location is handy for cyclists just off the Castle Eden trail. The room had a very large bed, good solid room darkening curtains and a great shower with full toiletries including shampoo and conditioner. Food here is excellent and the ambience is very comfortable
Can’t think of anything
Nice place to stay, Comfortable bed . Nice Restaurant and well cooked Food.
The Young Girl behind the Bar requires training in one to one communication, very miserable no eye contact a very little to say. Things where difficult for her. If only she taken a leaf out of the Managements book, very professional, polite and welcoming.
Handy for our visit. Manageress brilliant
No glasses in room. And no spoon on tea tray
The staff were amazing, friendly, helpful, hard working
My room was not very clean, my bathroom bin had rubbish in it The staff sorted it out but I shouldn't have to sort my room out, especially for the price per night, I'd expect it to be right first time
A very comfortable one night stay which was excellent value on a Sunday. We liked our room as it was spacious and quiet with very comfortable beds. The bar had a cosy welcoming atmosphere, was well lit and we very much enjoyed both our dinner and breakfast there. My steak was delicious and reasonably priced.
It was a little too far away from facilities and the town/ beach. The room was quite hot as only one window opened. However they did supply a fan.
Plenty of parking and the breakfast was very nice. Comfortable bed and clean. Nice bar area too.
Nothing we enjoyed our stay
Great to have a bar and restaurant on site. Food was good value Plus parking Comfy bed Clean rooms Fan available if needed
Can’t think of anything
Lovely rooms, exactly as advertised. Nice being close to the restaurant so could come back and not have to travel to have a meal. Food wonderful and very good value for money

food was lovely and super hot which is always good. Very good value for money, good food choice. Staff were just lovely and very helpful.
the helpfullness and friendliness of all the staff
wasnt a problem this time but parking can be difficult, chips with my meal were overcooked.
Lovely clean little hotel with a restaurant and bar. Great value.

The Inn is a beautiful building and very well maintained. Our annex room was lovely, and the food was amazing.
Tiny outside area, which based on the fact it was a heatwave was a real shame.... we like to sit outside when its nice and the space was very, very limited. The price was astronomical when we stayed as the price had obviously been hiked up due to local events (Radio 1). Whilst the room was lovely, it wasn't worth £171 pounds for room only per night!!!
Lovely cosy pub interior and accommodation lovely. Comfortable beds
Good size room, opening window, very comfy bed, modern bathroom.
Stench of drugs from the other rooms, cold coffee at breakfast, no acknowledgement from staff in the morning. Lack of availability on the dinner menu, returned to the bar to request three different items, to be told each time they didn’t have that option, only on the third attempt was I actually informed that they didn’t actually have any chicken. I then ordered a pie, which was very dry. I didn’t stay the second night and went home early. I stayed here five years ago and had a great stay, the place was a little gem but sadly it’s feeling very tired now. The carpet in the bedroom desperately needs a clean.
Food was excellent, dinner exceptionally cooked, vegetables superb. Very talented chefs as were the waiting on staff. A big thank you to all.
Not applicable. Every aspect of the Seaton Lane Inn excellent.
Location
Rooms showing sign of over-use, stains in bathroom but clean on surface.
Staff are friendly and helpful. Food is very good. Rooms are clean and tidy and the shower is great
Little far away from other amenities
Good
Not enough around you need a car no taxi at night
Very welcoming clean & friendly & catered for our needs
Friendly, welcoming place.

Ease of checking in, super friendly staff, very dog friendly. Clean and lovely rooms

Location for local area was good, ideal for the beach
We enjoyed our stay .staff friendly and location was close to family members
Super comfortable rooms great pub atmosphere and the food was wonderful. I had the risotto and have never tasted better.
Nothing really
Lovely room lovely pub and food staff extremely Welcoming
Lovely hotel in the beautiful seaside town of Seaham. Great food, nice room, but the thing that stands out for me was the way we were looked after. I have to single out the manager, Lloyd. No request was ever too much, and he bent over backwards to help with we needed. Brilliant service.
Nothing at all to say really.
Clean, quiet location
Staff wasn’t overly friendly or welcoming
Super friendly staff, lovely food, great shower, lovely dining area and comfy beds, what more do you need!.
Excellent staff and fantastic atmosphere
Lovely hotel friendly staff especially the manager nothing too much trouble
There was nothing we didn’t like
Location ideal for our trip Plenty of parking Very comfy bed and pillows
Staff could have been friendlier. Tea at breakfast very luke warm
Staff friendly and helpful Nice inn Comfortable bed and room Food really good

Clean lovely disabled appropriate room . V safe for me. Excellent food breakfast included

Clean, lovely shower ,good breakfast excellent night sleep and quiet, staff lovely
Loved everything
Ruhige Lage etwas ausserhalb vonn Seaham, sehr gutes Essen - freundliches Personal
Comfy bed. Breakfast. Helpful staff.
Unfortunately, the TV in our room didn’t get any channels, just radio stations.
Well located and not far from the Seaham beach
Very nice rooms very clean.
The food was lovely.
The cleanliness was lacking.
Beautifully decorated.
Dog fee at £15 per dog seemed excessive, but pretty standard for hotels. Didn’t have any atmosphere and didn’t enjoy the food, was bland.
Everything about it was very good. Only thing that slightly disappointed me was I had asked for wine to be in the room for our arrival as it was a special birthday for my husband, and it hadn’t bee done, I did go to reception and they gave me one to take to the room but other than that it was a very nice stay I requested a large bed and that had been sorted too. We would definitely return to this hotel. The food was also excellent.
Nothing really. It was very good hotel. Excellent location for going to Seaham for collecting sea glass too 😊
A better than expected stay as I normally prefer the brands for an overnight stay
My only suggestion would be to tidy up the exterior of the building
Good location ease of checking in good room
When paying at the bar asked for tip yet we hadn't received food or service we had gone to the bar
Its location is great for us visiting friends and the surrounding area. Plenty of parking. It’s a lovely cosy pub which also does good food at reasonable prices
Cosy atmosphere, room was clean. Staff very friendly
Could do with updating a little.
Friendly staff and a nice pub/restaurant
Room was tired and in need of a paint. Also cobwebs on the ceiling in the shower room and the silicone in the shower was mouldy. At £169 a night it was poor.
Cosy well appointed accommodation with very helpful staff. Will definitely stay again.
All good
Friendly staff and atmosphere, very comfortable rooms and good food.
Perhaps a slightly wider choice on the menu would have been good.
Friendly Staff, very clean, great food. The only place we will stay when in Seaham.
Didn't have any dislikes. Always pleased with our stay!
Lovely room Beds comfortable linen clean, towels changes ever day.
The radiator in our bedroom was chipped an filthy, damp in the bathroom could do with a good clean. Radiator wants cleaning and painting or replacing. Husband had the sausage and mash, the portion in the mash was enough for a 2 year old! I had the risotto which was lovely. When we arrived we were told our room was not ready by an unhelpful member of staff, the room was not ready at 3 pm. We only found out later that they had had a fire In the kitchen, if they had told us that straight way we would not have stayed and gone back later, staff seemed very stressed.
Everything that you expect when you are staying for B& B, though they did run out of things the second morning
When booking in was told I'd have to wait until 3pm no problem with that, but while waiting two other couples came in & booked in without any problems, a little strange
On booking.com
Very warm friendly staff
Great accommodation staff and food excellent great location for seaham beach
The location and the room was lovely and clean
Room attention to detail
Room was spotless and quiet on both nights. Staff were very friendly, food was plentiful and well cooked. The location is great being near to Seaham etc. Live music on the last Friday of the month. Part of the Inn Collection gave us two free drinks if you forego the room clean.
Parking can be difficult if there is a do on
I came to collect seaglass at Seaham so here was perfect
There was a damp smell when we entered our room
