Tolani has probably the best location Koh Kood. Many of the eateries are close by right across the resort is the best beach in the island and the resort has a great view. Staff are friendly and the resort has a great café just across the road and the general manager Paul can move her and personally inquired about our stay. I recommend it to everyone.

It is a place that has everything. There are both sea views, food, drinks and relaxing activities such as free pool tables. There is also a 10% discount if you keep the boat ticket, just give it to the staff. You will get a discount immediately. It's very good, I recommend it.

Check in from the pier and transfer from the pick up from the pier is called Ao Salad with Friendly staffs a lot of fun. The room was huge and clean and the sleep quality is the the best. The food was fantastic will come back again

Incredibly reliable place with super friendly staff. Chicken Khao soi in particular was amazing! Bread pudding as well. They also have a pool table. Drinks were well priced.

Tolani Resort is like a dream come true. From the picture perfect coast, to the gorgeous grounds, to the adorable villas. We feel so lucky to have spent 9 days here. The staff is all so friendly and warm and helpful. Of course a special shoutout to Tong, Saem and Kim who from the second we got here showered us with warmth and kindness. And so may laughs! Also thank you to Bass from the front desk who helped us when we arrived figuring out the best room situation for our family of 6. And thank you to the general manager who is kind and very present ! A few tips: -BEWARE OF THE SAND FLIES!! Do not under any circumstances lie down in the sand. Especially in early morning and evening unless who you have very strong repellant on. -Keep busy. Ko Kood’s magic is how quiet it is BUT there is still lots to do. With the help of Tolani’s activity staff we did: -TWO visits to the big waterfall -Secret Waterfall -Fishing -Tour of Island beaches and more -Wake up early and enjoy the low tide and blue skies. In the summer, on most days, the cloud rolled in.

Nous avons passé plusieurs jours dans cet établissement, tout était parfait. Le personnel était vraiment très sympathique, le petit déjeuner était très varié. La chambre était propre et le nettoyage fait tous les jours, de plus l’activité Kayak était gratuit et le personnel au petit soin et nous informe sur le bon déroulement de l’activité afin de nous sécuriser. Nous avons apprécié leur gentillesse.

It was truly one of the best experiences. This is my second time staying here, and I can honestly say that this is one of the best places I’ve ever stayed. The accommodation is beautiful, the staff provide excellent service, and the food is delicious. It’s definitely worth staying here and absolutely worth every baht spent. What makes this place even more special is that it’s the only place with a beautiful sandbar and calm waters where you can enjoy paddleboarding. The staff are friendly, funny, and very welcoming, and they are always attentive and ready to take care of the guests. A special mention goes to P’Sae — he is incredibly funny, entertaining, and always knows how to make the guests smile. Overall, it’s a wonderful place that I would definitely come back to again.

The Seaview room was magnificent. There was a huge outdoor enclosed area with a day bed. The shower was semi outside. There was a coffee pod machine. A lovely little goodnight gift display was left on my bed. The room was very well equipped.

It was low season and the restaurant ( where the sunset view is ) was closed. It was substituted by the cafe and the breakfast and food there were ordinary for a four star hotel. The prices were higher than Koh Kood Resort. No happy hour…. Due to low season….. The swimming pool is more of a domestic size pool. Unfortunately the beach, though beautiful, being near the river and mangroves had sand flies. I was bitten in over forty places and unfortunately could not continue to go on the beach or the river. To get to the beach you need to kayak across a bit of the river which is fun but maybe not for everyone. I do not understand how an establishment can close off important facilities and yet still take customers. There was no atmosphere at all.

Fantastic hotel, great location on the beach front. Our room was fantastic, great atmosphere and staff who were genuinely welcoming and friendly. Special mention to the activity staff who were happy to help us out with kayaking, snorkelling and organising trips around the island. Would 100% recommend.

Beautiful place perfect location with stunning view of Khlong Chao Beach. Friendly staff with warm welcome. The wooden tropical bungalow with unique style of decoration specially the outdoor shower. Really clean and peaceful. I have experience with Ice bath right in front of our bungalow it’s amazing! Recommended for everyone to have these fabulous experience.

Beautiful resort with an amazing ocean view and a peaceful atmosphere. We especially enjoyed the private ice bath experience — something a bit different and very relaxing. The staff was welcoming, the surroundings were well maintained, and it was a great place to slow down and enjoy Koh Kood. Would happily stay again. The location is very convenient. The rooms are comfortable and giving feeling freedom and luxury with the open shower and tall, indoor room height.

The place is very nice, the sea view villas are the best option in my opinion. It's a small island resort, it has island vibes and a lot of nature. It's not a chain sanitised experience, you will find lizards and moths all over but that is what you get on a Thai island and really, you shouldn't expect any less. The breakfast is okay, they make nice eggs for you. The staff are all very nice. In my opinion the staff is the difference on whether you feel welcome and relaxed at a resort and here, they are lovely. You're sea front but not beachfront, but the sea is 5 minutes away, and there are other beaches all over the island. Compared to other places for a similar price that are away from the sea, this beats them all. It's a little expensive for what you get but it's still really nice. 9/10, only fault is price/value

We recently stayed at the Talani Beach Resort in Koh Kood as a group of eight (two families of four), and it was a highlight of our trip. If you are looking for a blend of adventure and relaxation, this is a fantastic choice. We stayed in one of the villas situated slightly higher up the hill. The layout was perfect for a family: • Downstairs: A comfortable double bed for the adults. • Upstairs: Two single beds for the children via a staircase. This setup gave us all a much-needed sense of privacy while still being together. The sea views from the villa were stunning, and waking up to see monkeys playing nearby was a treat! The resort's facilities and staff were super friendly. We especially liked the service during the Zanzibar 2:1 cocktails at sunset. .We highly recommend: • Canoeing: A peaceful paddle through the nearby mangroves. • Snorkeling: This was the standout experience. The team was incredible they went above and beyond to look after my son, helping him snorkel safely even with a cast on his broken arm. The kids had a blast in the pool, and the resort's atmosphere is very welcoming. • Breakfast: Fantastic variety and a great start to the day. • Dinner: Unfortunately, the service was very slow and a few mistakes were made! • Entertainment: the multi team in the fire show was a real highlight and worth watching While the hotel is lovely, take the time to explore! There are several great local spots just a 5 to 10-minute walk or drive away that are well worth visiting for a change of scenery and a quicker dinner. Despite the slow dinner service, the amazing staff, the unique room layout, and the beautiful location made this a 4-5-star experience in our hearts. We had an amazing few days.

Preis Leistung...ja es war schön aber der Preis ... Ich hatte in dem Preis Niveau mehr erwartet. Der Strand ist durch einen kleinen Fluss getrennt.

L'emplacement est parfait, au milieu de l'île. Cela permet de se déplacer très facilement. Les chambres sont très belles. L'hôtel est très agréable, près d'une belle plage et le restaurant délicieux ! Service de taxi très performant et pas très cher.

Rien, sauf qu'il faudrait indiquer sur le site que l'hôtel n'est pas sur une plage, mais tout près d'une plage. En réalité, l'hôtel donne sur une belle mangrove et une plage mais il faut traverser à la nage, (4 mn) ou canoë pour accéder à la plage.

It is clear that the management truly cares about their guests' comfort and goes above and beyond to ensure a perfect family vacation. ​The staff is incredibly kind and attentive, the location is stunning, and the way they handled our request was professional and heartwarming. The hotel location is wonderful and it is such a beautiful spot. The sunset from the deck is magical and the barman played the coolest music! Despite the challenges, this was a very special stay!

We struggled with breakfast options initially. After a discussion with management, they rectified it. The hotels in Thailand are not great with marking ingredients and it would be so easy to put a vegan table together. The service at the bar is really really poor. We had to go get our drinks ourselves every time, this is minor but for this type of resort they could do with fine tuning their service. Also, I consider this to be a quiet, exclusive resort. On the Friday there was a tour group and a tour leader with a loudspeaker that overwhelmed the already challenged service. It was disappointing to see them letting in a big tour group since the servers/staff then had to focus on day visitors and not on serving the in house guest. There is very little maintenance done around the property and sunbeds. Every morning, the same garbage, cigarette buds etc were still there from the previous day. I saw guests cleaning around the area a few times. All it would take is for the staff to be aware of it, so when they walk past, clean up.

Das Personal war super freundlich, hilfsbereit und sympathisch! Die Anlage hat sehr viel Charme und die Lage ist top. In anderen Bewertungen war zu lesen dass Pool und Bar direkt an der Straße liegen, sie sind in der Nähe aber alles im Rahmen. Auch das Speedboote störend wären, welche in der Bucht fahren. Dies ist doch sehr übertieben, es war alles im Rahmen eines Aufenthaltes am Meer und einer kleinen Insel. Ich kann jedem die Anlage empfehlen.

Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt überhaupt nicht. Beim Zimmer stand Poolvilla am Strand... es gibt keinen Strand. Pad Thai kostet 380 Baht.. reine Abzocke. Wir sind früher abgereist und ich würde das Hotel nie wieder buchen.

It's very close to the famous white-sand beach. The staff are very friendly, and it's a great place to unwind. The bungalows are very nice, convenient, and easy to reach.

The restaurant staff were friendly, but the service was too slow. I had to wait 75 minutes for a dish. But appreciate that the staff member saw that and brought me some complimentary appetizers. But since the food wasn't too great, I wasn't returning.

The room was nice and spacious, good for 2 people; bed was comfortable had a medium foaming not too soft, not too hard. The outdoor shower was nice and vey good, good pressure and hot/warm water (important for me).

I could not fully enjoy the accommodation due bad weather. The majority of my stay i was at the resort. At that period it was low seasons all resorts are renovating or having a big clean up.

Room ist spacious and very clean. Beautiful view from the room to the sea. Sunset ist great to watch from the beach. Personal at the reception and in the restaurant very friendly. Beach is quite small and too many stones.

Beautiful in every way. The rooms are exquisite and ours had a balcony overlooking the water. Lush and inviting walkways. Loved having the intimate pool and more rugged beach with immediate access.

Highly recommended! The place is well-equipped with all the amenities and facilities you need. The staff are lovely especially Kong at the restaurant. You can also rent bikes and paddle boards, all conveniently available in one place. Kong was incredibly thoughtful about our trip, even though we came during the rainy season. He saved our experience by recommending a beach with beautiful white sand, calm waters, and less wind. Furthermore, kayaking is free for guests. If you’re a solo traveler, the activities staff are happy to accompany you and even take you out kayaking. Huge thanks to Tim. I couldn’t thank him enough. I will definitely come back.

This resort offers an immersive nature stay. Bungalows surrounded by dense exotic greenery. Paradise on essence !! Great breakfast. Very nice and welcoming staff. Rent a scoot for increased freedom and discover surroundings. Very pleasant stay in brief.

The resort is situated at the beach in a bay. This resort had no white sand beach in front of it. There are some rocks, there is some sand and it is at the end of a river so boats go in and out and that causes some petrol smell. I stayed in a bungalow close at the waterfront. The bungalow looks okey, a little worn out. Beds and bedding was very nice. Airco doesn’t blow you away. It costs some time to get it cool. Toilet didn’t flush properly and when we asked to solve it, it still didn’t work. They have a bar. They played loud music. Not exactly what I like. Restaurant is okey, staff is very friendly but for the costs I had to pay, a little more training on professionality would be good. There was a fire show. We attendedthis show but apparently there were more guests than they could handle. We got our starters after dinner. Not good. I wouldn’t visit this resort again. If prices would match the quality, then I would be positive about this resort but in my opinion price / quality is not good. This counts both for the room and the restaurant and bar.

Heard bad reviews about this hotel, but we thought it was great. It was clean, the breakfast was good, plenty of choice. The location is stunning. We had a room up on the hill, very peaceful and great views. The balcony had a large lounging chair which was really comfy. The staff were really friendly. Would definitely stay here again. We are currently staying in Peter Pan resort, wish we had stayed where we were in Tolani.

Just didn’t have a beach

Beachfront villas are really gorgeous. Was hard to drag ourselves away from our terrace and that beautiful view. Gardens well maintained and very stylish looking resort in general. Beds very comfortable, with nice linen and pillows. Kayaks free to use. Beach towels, toiletries and unlimited free drinking water provided. Good breakfast choices. Resort car available for pick up and drop offs at a cost. Good moped rental shop very close by and easy walk to some bars and restaurants within 20-30mins.

Rooms are a little tired for the cost. Lots of gaps in the doors so can't keep the insects out. Air conditioning in the room was very poor but could have been just not working properly in our room (Hale 4). No direct access to beach, need to swim across the mouth of the river to the beach opposite, which is the beautiful Klong Chao beach. Was easy enough, just something to be aware of. Drinks very expensive at the bar compared to other resort bars. Pool very small. Better to swim in the sea.

Idyllisch hotel op een geweldige locatie. Leuke kamer met geweldig uitzicht over een van de mooiste stukjes van Koh Kood. Staf is geweldig en niets is te veel. Zeer goed ontbijt met ruime westerse en oosterse keuze. Restaurant is ook erg goed. Wel iets duurder dan de gemiddelde restaurants op het eiland, maar de gefrituurde noedels zijn echt een topper. Kamer leuk en exotisch ingericht en bevatte alle benodigheden. Klein minpuntje was dat de douche niet 100% werkte maar daar hadden we nauwelijks last van. Als je van pure luxe houdt dan zou je deze accomodatie kunnen beoordelen alsof het zijn beste tijd heeft gehad, maar als je je enigszins verdiept in de levens situatie op het eiland dan past dat juist optimaal bij de sfeer. Wij hebben hier enorm genoten, ondanks dat het weer in de week dat wij er waren niet 100% was.

Nice looking hotel, with beautiful views to the stunning beach opposite. Our Beachfront Villas were clean and comfortable, and we loved the outside shower with plenty of hot water. Staff were very helpful booking our onward transport and ferry.

If you are looking for a beach hotel this is not it! I am not sure if the beach has been washed away, by the work going on nearby, but certainly during our stay, it did not match the photos on this site. There is a beautiful beach in view, across the entrance to the estuary, which you can swim to, but several times we experienced speed boats passing so fast, they would not have noticed anyone in the water, an accident waiting to happen! If you want to enjoy the beach opposite, you need to borrow their kayaks, or rent scooters, as we did, as it's quite a walk by road. Breakfast was good, but one coffee machine for all the guests, meant it was in demand and broke down several times. The pool was small for the number of guests staying in the hotel. Overall, we all (two couples) felt that this hotel wasn't worth what we had paid for a Beachfront Villa, with no beach!

Highly recommended, Our stay was AMAZING! Kaow catered to our every need. He even arranged a unbelievable flower arrangement in our room for our 10-year Anniversary. Kaow even went above and beyond to secure a romantic boat ride to help us celebrate the big day! Great stay at Tolani, yes it is true there is no beach but you can take a kayak (for free) and literally 1 min later you are at what many would call a bounty island beach, amazing! Also great snorkeling nearby! Staff is super friendly! Great spacious rooms, the outside shower/bathroom makes it even more of an exotic stay. But the highlight of our stay was to meet Mr. Tong and his team. Mr. Tong took us on a whole day snorkeling and driving trip and it was just the best. His experience as a dive instructor and his friendliness was so appreciated, our kids didn’t want to leave the place because of that! Make sure to book a private boat trip with him, whether you go diving or snorkeling! We also tried skim boarding - lots of fun and Tolani has the perfect location for it! Def recommend Tolani on Koh Kood!

The hotel was advertised and depicted having a private beach on their website which swayed us into choosing this hotel , in fact they don’t have a beach at all, just a rocky sand bank that is exposed when the tide goes out in the evening. Food is the most expensive locally and the portion sizes small. The hotel is situated on the corner of a main road One plus was free kayak usage enabling access to local beaches and crystal clear waters at the other hotels.

Superfint hotell med jättetrevlig och hjälpsam personal! Vi hade fem riktiga toppendagar på Tolani och kommer definitivt tillbaka om vi återvänder till Koh Kood. Enda är att det inte finns någon strand direkt intill hotellet, men det är bara en väldigt kort simtur (ca 40 meter) eller en kort tur med moped till en jättefin strand.
