DO NOT BOOK! DECEPTIVE ADVERTISEMENT. This place used altered, probably AI enhanced, images of their rooms online and was in terrible shape in person. All furniture was scuffed, the AC was duct taped, and there were screws sticking out of the bed frame. I checked in dropped off my stuff to enjoy my vacation and was not able to really inspect the place until later in the evening. It was so bad that I had to change hotels. The hotel refused a cancellation and the manager hung up the phone on me while I was speaking to try to find a resolution since they did not get back to me during my trip. I said "I want to give you the opportunity to do the right thing" and the manager responded with "I don't want your opportunity" before hanging up on me as I was speaking. A completely terrible experience that if not for me changing hotels immediately, could have completely ruined what was supposed to be my birthday vacation.

Propreté de la toilette commune laisse à désirer Chambre très spartiates: un lit, un lavabo, une télé. Pas de garde-robes ni crochets pour les vêtements ou de table pour travailler.

Location is conveninent and that's about it.

Bed was uncomfortable, room was full of patchwork, light switches and walls were dirty. You couldnt close the window due to air conditioning, forcing you to ear everything outside all night long on one of the most busy street in Montreal. Needless to say we had a poor night of sleep.

Bruits incessants, surtout la nuit. Impossible de dormir, trop de gens qui hurlent dehors et font la fête toute la semaine. Il faudrait avoir une meilleure isolation au bruit, c'est catastrophique pour le sommeil... la rue est pleine de gens drogués et dangereux... Nous avons vu 3 agressions..

Room was very small for the price. No hair dryer. Extremely late check in time. Main door code changed without notifying us ... we had to call to find out why the code that was given to us earlier that day didnt work.

The location was the only good thing

The hotel is a dump. The pics are ai. It looks like they dont clean it, everything is either broken or stuck back together with tape. Not fit to be called a hotel

Location was good, very near to old montreal, city hall notra dame church, China town, under ground Montreal mall, very convenient and walkable distance, doesn't need to drive with car.

Portable cooler/AC was not good, sounding loud. We saw many homeless people around that area.

On a road full of nightclubs. When I first arrived, I could not get in because they had sent me the incorrect key code for the front door.

Hôtel à éviter. Les photos publiées en ligne ne correspondent pas à la réalité des chambres. Un changement de chambre nous a été proposé suite à notre réclamation : la nouvelle chambre correspondait bien à celle des photos, mais nous avons réalisé que ces photos avaient été retouchées. Problèmes constatés dans les deux chambres occupées : Première chambre : ne correspondait pas du tout aux photos: chambre exiguë, avec une toute petite fenêtre en grande partie occupée par la climatisation. Seconde chambre : Literie vieille et abîmée, affaissée au centre, impossible de dormir sans rouler l'un vers l'autre. Présence d'insectes rampants, au sol et au plafond. Couloirs de l'établissement dégageant une mauvaise odeur persistante. Après signalement à l'hôtel puis à Booking, la seule compensation obtenue a représenté 1 à 2% du montant total du séjour, ce qui est largement insuffisant au regard des problèmes rencontrés. Aucune solution satisfaisante n'a été apportée au-delà d'un changement de chambre présentant les mêmes défauts, l'hôtel invoquant un établissement complet (ce qui peut s'entendre). Notre réservation étant non remboursable, nous nous sommes tournés vers Booking, qui, faute d'accord avec l'hôtel, nous a proposé cette compensation dérisoire. Un prix trop élevé au regard du service obtenu en plus de l'état d'insalubrité de l'établissement. Nous n'avons finalement effectué que 2 nuits sur les 11 initialement prévues. Je ne recommande pas cet hôtel et je ne reviendrai pas.

La réactivité et accueil du gérant qui nous a changé de chambre quand j'ai dit qu'on dormait mal à cause du bruit.

The AC unit is quite load so I had to have it off at night and the communal toilet got clogged.

Location was great. Right in the middle of downtown with a lot of food options around. Plus it was near popular nightlife locations.

The bathroom door wouldn't close, there was no toilet paper, dust and hair were everywhere, and the shower seemed broken—truly the worst hotel.

Las fotos con que publicitan el hotel a través de Booking son falsas. La habitación "deluxe" era chica, sucia, una cama pésima, un baño sucio y diminuto, nada que ver con lo que muestran. Un total engaño. Estaba bien si hubiéramos pagado un tercio de lo que nos cobraron. Pésimo. Nos sentimos estafados.

Excellent Location

Its old style building with portable air conditioning unit. The unit was very very loud. I just couldn’t sleep or stay inside room for longer duration. I had to check out a day in advance as it was unbearable to spend to another day in the room. Though hotel reception apologized for the inconvenience and promised to fix the situation for the future guests. Hopefully they do. My vacation was unpleasant though.

-Smells bad. -Lots of crack heads in the area, not a safe neighborhood for a hotel. - The club next door is loud, we heard it all night long. -Room smells like mold, cigarettes. - Dirty beddings, sheets, bathroom. - Clogged bathroom sink and toilet

It’s great for the price and you are right in the centre of Montreal. It’s the ideal place if you are cool with a more minimal and cost effective stay.

You are in the middle of the downtown core so you need to expect things to be a bit rough. We had homeless people and people tweaking on drugs follow us up to the door on multiple occasions. This is the reality of a downtown core, and something that just needs to be accepted. If you are a single woman I would consider staying somewhere else or not leaving the hotel after 11pm. All in all, the price and location are worth it if you are on a budget.

The staff was super helpful, being fluent in English and French. They met every request we had immediately, and were very friendly. In addition, the rooms were air-conditioned and had fans, absolutely indispensable in summer, and we had a little fridge. What struck me most was that at night everything was quiet despite its location in a vibrant area with clubs etc.

When we arrived, we saw that the bathtub could have been cleaned a little more, but it was nothing that would not go away under running water.

They stole my money and i never stayed there more than one night, and yet they stole 995.17$ paid in advance for 7 days .they are not honest, rude, and they demand a 300$ CASH deposit after they tell you your money is non refundable..that's illegal.

The location was great, and the guy at the front desk was super friendly!

While the location was nice, there were a lot of homeless people around. Also, the pictures didn't really look like the actual place. We paid $175 and it was pretty small and the building was quite old.

Breakfast was very minimalist, but the space was great and the location was amazing. We saw some music on St. Catherine street and walked to Chinatown.

There is no positive feedback to provide other than the receptionist was nice and sympathetic towards us, she showed us a cleaner vacant room and asked management if she could switch them for us, but management rejected her request.

Upon check in our toilet had what looked to be black mold. We were shown a cleaner vacant room but management did not let us switch. They also ignored our cancellation request. We did not feel comfortable staying and simply left for the Travelodge a short walk away.

A bit hot (It was summer time though)

Location is incredible! Staff is super responsive and helpful. Clean room and the AC was perfect. It's nothing fancy, but its everything you need, highly recommend.

Located close to everything I was there to do see. Space was comfortable and price was excellent especially since I was there during the International Jazz Festival. Air conditioner worked well and the staff was friendly and helpful. Although i. the center of town, hotel felt very safe with staff and looked entrance full time.

If you’re looking for a very quiet spot this may not be it, but it can’t be beat for access to Jazz Festival. If you’re used to city sounds rooms were quiet enough and comfortable.

Sharing bathroom, not very clean in hallways, broken door, look more like European style hotel than American style hotel.

Perfect location! Right on Saint Catherine close to everything. I went for the Montreal Jazz Festival and the entrance was a block from the location. Affordable parking across the street. Friendly staff.

Older facility with some common areas looking worn. Air condition only worked okay.

It was very bad experience first of all they said on call car parking is available in booking but when we reached there they said its paid parking and even the parking area was not safe there were too much homeless people and when i tried to contact them no one answered my call. We wasted our 1hours just for parking . Staff was also not helpful . There was one guy on reception he was also nit nice .

Manque d'un micro-onde dans la chambre pour pouvoir manger quelque chose.

Premièrement, ma réservation était à 575 € à mon arrivée. Le cas ils m’ont proposé une chambre partager la douche avec d’autres personnes alors que sur ma réservation et j’avais marqué en privé. Deuxièmement ils m’ont fait payer 625 $ de plus qui équivaut à 1000 $ de dépenses. Je me suis retrouvé à payer plus d’argent que j’ai ce que je devais au début à la fin, je me suis retrouvé avec un matelas contaminé d’urine, de traces, d’urine, des trous et des bibittes présentement. Je me sens malade, j’ai des traces de boutons sur le visage sur le corps, je réclame un remboursement pour traiter ma santé. J’ai fait monter la personne de l’accueil ce matin qui a constaté l’état du matelas, j’ai fait des photos, j’ai fait des vidéos elle-même, elle le croyait pas à ses yeux l’état de la chambre et l’état du matelas et de sur quoi quand je suis arrivé le rideau de la salle de bain était très sale, je leur ai demandé de changer, ils ont pas changé, j’ai pu changer moi-même le matelas est rempli de cota et des acariens et des puces de lit. En preuve je vous envoie des photos des a des vidéos si vous le solliciter merci de me rembourser pour ma santé je dois aller à l’hôpital et ça m’étonne beaucoup que Booking accepte ce genre de de l’hôtel sur son plate-forme et cet hôtel ne mérite même pas une étoile c’est pire qu’un Airbnb j’attends le retour de votre part. Le matelas rempli de puces de trace d’urine d’urine. Le rideau de douche n’était pas acceptable pour une hôtel à trois étoiles et les personnel n’étaient pas si cordial, ils ont voulu que je leur paye , 600 $ en espèces, mais je leur ai payé par la carte bleue, j’ai les preuve.
