Excellent position, central to all Legian, pool was lovely and clean, breakfast was good, entertainment was great. Staff were very attentive, theme nights were good too.

Bathrooms are a little dated, don’t like showers in the bath. Decking needs replacing and the poolside rooms need card locks on the outside doors for easier access

Very noisy from bars in the area. Load music until 12 midnight some nights. We were in room 1205. The air conditioners need to be cleaned or serviced regularly. The room we were in it was leaking and full of dust and mould. We were unable to watch everything from Australia ABC news as it kept dropping out. My husband got Bali belly from a pizza we got from room service. It didn’t taste very good. If you are going to serve pizza please make sure it’s fresh.

The location of the premise to the street, local areas and the beach is superb. Having the 2 bars and swimming pools also made it super relaxing and enjoyable. The facility is a little dated and 'worn' with chips on doors, walls etc. However, the room was cleaned and mopped every day, fresh water bottles and towels and i love it when my bed is made. The restaurant for breakfast was amazing with a wide range of breakfast options to suit the most fussiest eater. The staff were very friendly and accommodating from the front service to the housekeeping.

Really there was nothing that stood out for improvement.

Breakfast was good. Bit slow with the hot drinks. Most mornings had to ask many times where our order was. Very noisy fridge, had to turn off at night. Staff came 3 times to try to fix it. Still noisy.

Breakfast service was terrible as was the set up. Wrong containers for many items and bad positioning of somethings also. Ie jams and spreads adjacent to hot toaster meant almost burning yourself. I could go on but wont

Breakfast was fantastic with great offering/choice and fresh quality food. Beds were comfy and the staff were professional, friendly, helpful, always looked happy. Location was excellent.

Our biggest dislike wouldve been when we booked a spa treatment in person at the day spa it was not booked correctly for the next day. When we arrived for our appointment that we planned the day around there was no record of the booking. This was very disappointing. The construction next door was a little annoying noise wise but of course that was out of your hands. The areas around the pools were very hot to stand on without footwear.

I loved how close it is to the beach, cafes, bars etc. The location in general is great! :) The room was lovely and spacious. Nice and bright, clean and amenaties were good. The breakfast was also very good. I also liked the large fridge!

It’s looking tired. Doors do not close and seal. Tiles cracked and lifting in the room. Consistency of setup eg pool chairs, requires supervision.

We found the pool a little overcrowded and never enough sun lounges. It seemed people would leave their towels and a book a lounge chair and not return for hours.

The staff, price and location of the resort are fabulous. The staff are so.kind, warm and friendly and nothing is too much for them. The resort is located on a main street in.legian and is also opposite the beach. Everything is at your finger tips.

The reaort is very clean but the facilitiies would benefit from an upgrade. The shower heads need replacing in some.rooms and some general maimentance.would make.this resort even better..But for the price, the.rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean.

Difficult dealing with some staff due to lack of understanding English but im sure this will improve as most staff were learners

The location is great. East access to everything in Legian/Seminyak/Kuta by foot a short taxi ride. The staff are great, very friendly, attentive and always happy to help.

The beds and pillows are uncomfortable and need replacing, the linen is very old and discoloured. The bathrooms in the deluxe rooms need to be upgraded. The showerheads need to be replaced.

Vor dem Balkon eine Baustelle mit Boschhammer, Stahlsägen ununterbrochen, auch am Sonntag mit einer Unterbrechung in der Mittagspause. Links ein Etwas mit Anfeuerungsschreien und von hinten Beschallung von Trashmuskibin hoher Lautstärke. ( war irgendwann abgestellt. ) Frühstück nur möglich, wenn man früh da war, da immer alles leer war.

We absolutely loved our stay at Away Bali Legian Camakila. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always went above and beyond to help. The hotel has a beautiful, relaxed atmosphere, the rooms were comfortable and clean, and the location was perfect—close to the beach, restaurants, and shops while still feeling peaceful. We would happily stay here again.

The location was very good as were the staff. Our mattress was uncomfortable/old. The shower over the bath was a little dated. The room was clean and comfortable. Good Tv & dark. It’s a fairly crowded property and for that reason the pools did not have much space around it. The property needs renewal I believe

I like the location

Unless you have booked a pool room there is no lounges where you can sit by the pool . There wasn’t enough seating at breakfast when it was busy and had to wait for a table to become available. Staff were very busy and there was a long wait on beverages ( tea , coffee , juice)

I liked the staff , although there were 12 trainees at one time. Breakfast is nice, one coffee now free was nice. Location Always clean Nice big rooms Great cocktails but expensive. This is why most guests go out to eat and drink. Pools are nice.

Data about my room request was lost in some system upgrade. But was sorted but then we had to move rooms because of works which became stressful when it was done five hours later than told. Staff gave us free meals, spa and late checkout. When I tried to use vouchers it was a huge debacle because I’d ordered the meal the day before but after many conversations it was sorted. Your towels and pillow cases need updating. Sliding doors could use some improving, hard to open and shut. Towels were sometimes hard to get both bath and beach towels. I’m assuming a laundry problem of some kind. It would be great to have fly spray in room as there were more mosquitoes than past years. I think room service must be understaffed two as I had two no shows but rest of time very quick. Shower pressure in first room we had was horrible and my friends room shower took ages to drain. Spa was lovely but our first massage was during fireworks which made us nearly jump off the table. A heads up would have been nice when booking. Our second facial was accompanied by jackhammering next door. I suppose that’s Bali but we found a quieter spa nearby. Most of these things are small but can be fixed easily. For $200 a night they need to be.

Although we had 2rooms next to each other, this was supposed to be near our daughter who had children so we were at opposite ends of hotel. It was ok though. It was a bit annoying that our room faced the building site where the noise was too loud but this is not the fault of Away. We also found that having to wait until the last day to see if we could get late checkout was a bit frustrating as we did try to book an extra night before arriving. Maybe this was the booking site.

I payed a lot more for a suite to suprise the wife The suite I got was right next to the kitchen exhaust fan which sounded like a jet engine I spoke to staff about the noise and he agreed that it was loud I asked to be moved which they said they had no more suites left I then asked to speak to a manager about my concerns to which he said the fan will turn off at 10 pm but start up again at 5.30 am so I had to put up with this he said he could up grade me but it was only for the last night I was there and I said not moving all our stuff for one night I had to tell staff the first night to turn off fan this was at 11 pm And then tell them every night from there on Management and staff spoke to me and promised this would not happen again but it did it felt like speaking to brick wall The place is very tired looking and needs repairing We had loose tiles popping Up on the floor Cockroaches in room When I spoke to management about these and showed pictures they quickly removed and cleaned up We had dirty glasses in bath room I found location was good Breakfast buffet boring and not much to choose from But I might be to picky on that Not enough seating for breakfast approximately 20 seats upstairs and about 26 downstairs for such a big resort The staff were friendly no problem there

Kind & helpful always also focused on providing & engaging entertainment for tourists at the hotel as theme night dinners & fire dances. All staff were pleasant in hellos and conversations during our stay which was lovely. Would highly recommend staying here.

The staff were very attentive if it wasn't for them it would not of been a good holiday.

We booked for 14 days. Bed and bedding was old, we got sore backs and we are not old. We asked to be moved three times, the airconditioners smell mouldy and I ended up with mild chest infection but it is flu season so couldn't tell if this was exasperated from that, also we did choose the cheapest accomodation package deluxe suit and the higher prices packages may reflect rooms. In the last room we stayed 9 days, don't think they changed the sheets, lucky we showered twice a day so we dealt with that. Drain in shower was very slow and tiolet stopped flushing in last room after a day but staff tried to fix twice after called and 3rd time replaced the flushing unit inside cistern and then everything was fine. Staff are great, they keep grounds very clean but I they need to do better maintenance on airconditioners, tiolet and showers.

Property needs a good face lift. Pool towels look 100 years old and need replacing. Bath towels are old and fraying. Linen on beds are grey and need to be replaced. Breakfast needs improving. For the accommodation price it’s average and you can get far better in Bali. In summary for the amount you pay, it needs to be better

This property is central to everything in Legian, walking distance to Seminyak.

The feel the breakfast could be updated a little . Maybe do some promotion with a different menu maybe like acai bowls even ??
