Very relaxing stay. Good ambience and kids friendly. Cottage we stayed is facing to Vembanad Lake with nice view to the lake. The property itself is very beautiful.

The water activities offered at the resort are quite expensive. The food is also overpriced and, in our opinion, not really worth the money.

The restaurant staff were extremely polite, friendly, attentive and always ready to understand and accommodate our needs. Their warm smiles and genuine hospitality made every meal feel special.The chefs deserve a special mention as well—the food was fresh, flavorful and beautifully prepared. The combination of great food, excellent service and the stunning lake-view ambience made dining here one of the highlights of our stay. The open areas within the property was a blessing. But no area seemed too far. Every amenity/ facility was easily reachable by a short stroll

The fact that the pool couldn't be accessed before 8am. There was some rule about a 12hr filtration/ purification cycle, which I think could be better managed, given that the pool is not overflowing with guests like a public pool usually is.

This property was very good, rooms were beside water body hence the view was very good. Complimentary boat rides were given which was a great surprise. Overall stay was good.

1. Food choices were very limited and on expensive side. Due to LPG problem, very few food options were given. Hoping this problem will get resolved soon.

There are maintenance works going on. In addition we were here at a low season , so not everything was up where I think it is when there is more activity.

Great property to stay very kind hearted staff. It was super food and stay. Mr Crosswin, Mr Darshan, Mr Afras, Mr Aymaan, Mr Munson were very cordial in treating us.

One thing which was exceptional it was the hospitality. Staff was ten on ten with all the smiles which is the most important parameter

Pond was not that clean. As expected from 5star property

De locatie, het eten en de vriendelijkheid van het personeel. Het eten was echt goed. Als je boekt kun je beter het dinerbuffet erbij boeken. Scheelt ongeveer 10 euro per persoon per dag.

De kamer was redelijk gedateerd en het zwembad. Lag mooi, de bedjes hadden geen kussens en er waren geen parasols. Verder hadden we een boot gehuurd met een kapitein (jonge jongen) voor ongeveer 115 euro. De Jongen heeft bijna niets gezegd en zat voortdurend op zijn telefoon te kijken. Hij kon best varen maar is niet geschikt om toeristen te begeleiden. Het was een prachtige boot, maar ik zou adviseren om in Alleppey een dergelijke boot te huren. Er zijn er genoeg en waarschijnlijk een stuk goedkoper.

It was dated. No organisation, training of staff. The pool area was never cleaned, glasses & items never removed. The sun beds were unbearable, made of steel & ply wood, so uncomfortable.

Hotel is tired and in need of freshening, cracked tiles, flaking paint, broken gym equipment, dirty gatehouse cabin and sunset viewpoint. Also, feels like arriving at a barbed wire compound.

Resort Location is Excellent, All staff are polite, Breakfast is good, Dinner is expensive. Lake Ride on sunset cruise is excellent, But the rate is lightly on higher side.

The location is amazing . Views of the backwaters from the reception area as well as restaurant. Lots of activities. Free sunset cruise. Best part was the very friendly and extremely helpful staff. They have the golf cart for transportation within the property.

We had the rooms that were facing the manmade water area . Lots of mosquitoes. They should have a wire mesh door and windows for the rooms and a mosquito net for sleeping . Also the rooms feel a bit dated.

The staff are fantastic and go out of their way to help.

The cleanliness of the place needs work - the water in the lake is different shades of green (and not in a good way); the changing room for the swimming pool is not well maintained. The restaurant menu have limited vegetarian options, and even more so, for local food.

A wonderfully landscaped and designed property

The access road from Main road to the Resort should be metalled immediately. Lot of bumpy ride.

Stay and view is superb. Good authentic food. Boat ride facility is also great. Faculties in the resort Akshay, Manoj was very helpful.

We are from London on a family trip and had visited Kochi and Munnar so we were at the end of our trip to Kerala where we wanted to relax and enjoy the weather for a few days. We were glad we chose this resort as we really did relax, and have a lovely break so for us, it is probably the best resort in Alleppey! The resort is located in Beautiful lush green surroundings, very peaceful and serene that is very pretty. The staff all work hard to look after it from the ground staff and cleaners, to room service and management. Adarsh, Saidul, Matthew made us feel special, spoke good English and understood our requirements, feedback and gave great customer service. It was our 25th anniversary and they gave us balloons and decorated the room, as well as a freshly made cake which we all really enjoyed and appreciated. The food is excellent!! We didn’t go anywhere else as it was so comfortable, everyday there was plenty of choices. Dipankar, Manoj, Saidul and the Chefs are excellent and passionate about their restaurant, they gave us great service throughout. Aditi and Marcy are also doing very well. The activity room is excellent, with good options for all ages, especially the Table tennis / pool table. The room service staff including Akshay and Shalini are thorough and very friendly too. Overall we had an amazing stay because the location, food, staff were very good so it was one of our best family holidays abroad. Thanks to all the staff at Sterling Lake!

1. The main attraction is the location and the beautiful ambience at the resort. 2. The front desk staff were awesome. Especially Ms Amritha. They managed the guests very well. The restaurant staff were also awesome and they maintained good service, timely serving and proper hygiene. 3. Food - The food was exceptional. Awesome. 4. The complementary services added to the packages are brilliant and engaging. 5. Quick responses to our calls for services. Cleaning staff and maintenance staff were good.

1. Maintenance of the property. The property is not well-maintained. The management is just running the show for the sake of the shareholders, it seems. A- The room was leaking during the rain at 2.00 AM. B- The pool was not maintained properly, and it will not be available after 6.00 PM due to a lack of pool lights. C- the kids' play area is a mess, and we can't risk our kids getting injured. D - The water body within the resort is not clean, and we can't even touch the water. E - Bats and Doves are making the balcony area messy all the time. F - Unbearable mosquito issue due to the poor, unclean surroundings, believe. G - The toys, the peddle boat, pool boat, and all amenities are damaged or not properly maintained. 2. The property is overpriced if you're directly booking from the resort. So always check the best deal from Booking.com or other sites to get a good deal. ( I got a good deal from Booking.com for the first day and the deal was worth the money. But the extension we did for the second night was overpriced and it was almost double compared to the price I received from Booking.com) 3. The road to the property and parking was not good. All these are our suggestions to the management as well. If you can do the corrective maintenance and preventive maintenance properly with an internal checklist, this property will be much better.
