Desverre,det var mye llid om natta !!!!

Loved absolute everything! Spacious room, comfortable bed and warm blanket, sockets near the bed, which was extremely needed after long walking days, clean bathroom, all the kitchen amenities, which made comfortable to have meal sometimes at the hotel. Self-service check-in and check-out is also great, no need for fuss. Another special love for free laundry room, which is a great advantage of this apartment. The whole impressions from the Frogner House Apartments is absolutely stunning! Definitely will come again to Oslo! Beautiful and clean city!

Frogner House is an elegant old building which has been modernised to a high standard, it is close to the centre and the neighbourhood is well catered for in terms of a large supermarket and a range of eating places. The room was a good size with all the facilities you would expect in a boutique style hotel the bed was large and comfortable and there was ample hanging space for clothes etc.

We did find it a bit hot in the room and there was no thermostat allowing you to adjust the temperature, so we ended-up opening the window which wasn't ideal as we faced the main street and there is a bar across the road. I also had issues with the shower as the floor felt slippy underfoot and I would have like a rubber mat but there wasn't one available.

Kranen på kjøkkenet burde fikses, i hylla ved tv var det en god del støv , ellers var vi fornøyd.

Flott rom, god seng og rolig nabolag

Det var litt kjølig på rommet og vinduene sto åpne, rakk ikke bli «varmt nok» ila natten så litt kjølig.

Location was perfect. So central. The property was clean and comfortable.

Veldig bråkete ved kveld/natt. Kronglete kommunikasjon, f.eks. ved ønske om sen utskjekk måtte vi ta kontakt den dagen vi skulle skjekke ut kl 09, da blir hensikten med å sove ut litt borte. Vondt lukt i «resepsjonen»

В апартаментах имеется всё что надо для проживания, от ложки до кастрюли. Мы приезжали на концерт и только ночевали там,но однозначно могу сказать что всё устроено для комфортного проживания.

Location

Tv was not the same as in pictures, windows were small (not large as prescribed), same holes on the wall.

I requested a quiet room but was given a room directly opposite a loud pub. Even with the windows closed, the noise was still very noticeable. I raised the issue with the hotel, but unfortunately, no resolution was offered. If you are sensitive to noise or looking for a quiet stay, I would not recommend this experience.

L'emplacement central, dans un quartier résidentiel élégant et bien équipé au plan commercial. Intérieur également confortable.

L'absence de personnel rend l'accès aux lieux difficile (il a fallu s'adresser à un client de passage, pour pouvoir entrer). Concernant la fin de l'hébergement, la carte magnétique est démagnétisée à 11H pile (il a fallu demander à une employée de réouvrir le studio...)

The most comfortable bed in a beautiful area of the most beautiful city. The room was perfectly equipped for my stay with a kitchen with all the instruments needed to prepare meals with, a large television and nice bathroom.

There was an electrical fault in the room which meant that the lights wouldn't turn off without turning off the power for the room. This meant I wasn't able to recharge electronics overnight. Not a major issue, and presumably got resolved.

Vi hadde booket et dobbeltrom for én natt hos Frogner House. Morgenen den dagen vi egentlig skulle sjekke ut, bestemte vi oss for å bli én natt til. Vi sjekket først nettsiden deres, hvor prisen for én ekstra natt var oppgitt til 1 747 kr. Vi kontaktet deretter Frogner House på e-post for å forlenge oppholdet med én natt. Til vår store overraskelse ble vi belastet 2 995 kr – altså hele 1 248 kr mer enn prisen som var annonsert på deres egen nettside samme dag. Da vi tok kontakt og spurte hvorfor vi hadde blitt belastet så mye mer, fikk vi beskjed om at prisen var riktig fordi Frogner House opererer med andre priser når man bestiller via e-post enn når man bestiller via nettsiden. Det reagerer vi sterkt på. Vi har forsøkt å finne informasjon på nettsiden deres om at en bestilling via e-post kan koste vesentlig mer enn den annonserte nettprisen, men har ikke klart å finne dette. At samme rom og samme natt kan koste 1 747 kr på nettsiden og 2 995 kr via e-post, en forskjell på over 70 %, oppleves som svært urimelig – særlig når en slik prisforskjell ikke er tydelig kommunisert. Dette etterlot dessverre et veldig dårlig inntrykk og er noe andre gjester bør være oppmerksomme på dersom de vurderer å forlenge oppholdet sitt direkte med Frogner House.

Well situated, close to public transport, nice part of town, coffee-bakeries on the same block.

Unstaffed - took a while to get into the property, I had to assist another guest, communication wasn’t great (eg emails included references to links that weren’t included)

Apartamento céntrico, bonito y espacioso. Las camas son muy cómodas. Tienes un par de cafeterias justa abajo para desayunar.

Al ser todo "Online" a nuestra llegada el sistema de cheking no funcionaba y fue un poco engorroso hacerlo por teléfono, teniendo que instalar la aplicación para poder abrir las puertas..

La ubicación

La cocina extremadamente pequeña y sin prácticamente utensilios. El desagüe de la ducha no tragaba y tenías que ir cortando el agua para que no se desbordara. Pasillos del hotel muy oscuros. No hay personal, haces el checking con una máquina.

Mój apartament miał tylko 2 gniazdka, w dodatku nad zlewem w aneksie kuchennym. Nie czułam się komfortowo susząc włosy nad zlewem, czy ładując urządzenia elektroniczne właśnie przy źródle wody. Może to akurat taki układ pokoju...

Great little apartment in a great location with everything we needed: dishwasher, small but fully equipped kitchen, washing machine and dryer on every floor.

The room was somehow always hot and it was hard to sleep with the windows open as there are a few bars just across the road. The self check in was not explained very clearly but in the end it was quite easy. It’s not true that you can get real on spot assistance 24/7 because when I called after 18.00 I could only talk with a remote security guard that was there just for emergencies. Finally, considering that there is no reception, every room should have two pillows per person, and the curtains were not really shielding much light.

Bien situé avec des transports, des restaurants et un bon supermarché à proximité. Studio assez grand et bien équipé, avec une petite kitchenette et un frigo. Table et fer à repasser. Literie grande et confortable.

Aucun personnel sur place, tout se fait par voie électronique. Personnel de ménage peu communicant. Comme dans beaucoup d'hôtels : les écoulements de la salle de bains devraient être curés régulièrement.

Good localisation

Bed was comfy and bathroom clean and new.

Virtually no power points, dingy/tired hallways and common areas, no staff/robot checkin and needed someone (another guest) to come out for us to get in - the intercom was in Norwegian and we didn't understand a word. Once inside we managed to get our door cards via the check-in machine as instructed by emailed check-in procedure using g provided code. Our room looked out onto the internal courtyard where kitchen staff from adjacent restaurants regularly stepped out to smoke with the smoke entering our room. Overpriced for such a tired stale place. Fantastic location is the only consolation.

Way too early check out, especially since you’re not able to check in before 15:00. Very little wiggle room on this. We were about to leave at 11, when the cleaning lady knocked on our door and asked of we were checking out.

Good location, close to the center and the tram stop, clean room, good staff communication, clear and timely information. It is very convenient that you can leave your luggage in the luggage room upon arrival or after check out.

The room, which had windows facing the street, was very warm. Two large windows, only one of which opened and very rarely, so we felt like we needed to turn on the extra heating. It was simply too warm to sleep. There was a fan in the room, but it didn't help.

Très bruyant sur rue, plein soleil sans rideaux occultant. Seulement une seule fenêtre qui s’ouvre et pas de climatisation… 32 degrés dans la chambre !!!

Logement agréable dans l'ensemble. Bien situé, avec accès très facile au tramway.

La literie. Pendant nos 2 semaines en Norvège nous sommes passés par 7 logements différents : celui-ci est le seul où nous n'avons pas eu de lit king size (140 cm de large alors que tous les autres étaient en 160). De plus la qualité du matelas était également mauvaise : très mou.

Stort og fint rom. God pris i forhold til fasilitetene. Alt fungerte som det skulle.

Stort nok, velutstyrt, hyggelig innredet, rent.

Svært varmt, naturlig grunnet varmt ute. Men toppleilighet uten aircondition i bygård gjorde det opphetet i leiligheten. Stor golvvifte hjalp mye men ikke nok .

The apartment was functional but due to the summer weather it became stifling at night making it hard to sleep. Only one of the windows could be opened and as the apartment is near the city centre there was a lot of noise from the street. I had cause to contact the providers about a couple of issues and they were good at responding but it would have been nice if there had been some face to face presence at the reception

1) capisco che la il letto non viene riordinato tutti i giorni, ma almeno il personale dovrebbe tutti i giorni svuotare il cestino del pattume considerando che c'e' un angolo di cottura (comunqe dove uno dovrebbe rivolgersi nel caso di necessita'? tutto affidato al AL , perfino check-in) 2) cera anche la macchinetta del caffe' , ma solamente due cialde , qualcuno dovrebbe rifornire tutti i giorni le capsule, oppure mettere adeguatamente per la durata di soggiorno 2) l'odore di muffa nel bagno

Absence de climatisation. Impossible d'ouvrir en grand la fenêtre. Il faisait 30 degrés dans le logement pour une température extérieure de 24.

Location is perfect. All the attractions are within walking distance or just a short tram ride away. There are grocery stores supermarkets around the apartment within a walking distance too. The apartment is very bright with too big windows facing south and cleaning comes every other day to change the sheet towel and clean up the bins. There’s a lift to go all the way to the top floors so you don’t have to climb the stairs with your luggage at all.

It’s not the properties problem, but during my stay there was construction going on in the neighbouring buildings. The noise level must be higher than usual.

Ble vekket kl. 08.00 av at jeg måtte lukke vindu. Sikkert pga utvendig vask, men det hadde vært fint med en bekskjed inne på rommet ved ankomst, slik at etter en lang kveld på jobb slipper å bli vekket av personalet så tidlig.

Absence de thermostat pour régler la température du chauffage. Il faisait trop chaud dans la salle de bain et même dans la chambre.

Good location, easy check-in procedure.

It was very difficult to get into the building. The instructions said to simply ring the doorbell. This placed a call which went straight to voicemail. After two attempts, I rang the number which was written at the door which went to a general facility manager who told me that I had to press the doorbell. Luckily, someone then went outside and hence I could slip inside. From there on, the check-in went smoothly. Also, the room was quite warm, since there is no air-conditioning.

Location, cleanliness, size of the room

No power outlets around the bed or at all, only above the kitchen sink. The light above the mirror did not work bathroom was quiet dark. In the yard there is a Mexican restaurant which can be a bit noisy however I liked the live music from there.

Hotel był w świetnej lokalizacji. Na tej samej ulicy są kawiarnia, piekarnia, 7-Eleven. Kawałek dalej znajduje się KIWI. Lokalizacja blisko przystanków autobusowych i tramwajowych; w pobliżu znajduje się Pałac Królewski. Sama dzielnica jest bardzo przyjemna i bezpieczna. W pobliżu są fajne restauracje. W hotelu jest sprawna winda. Wszystko odbywa się bez kontaktu z personelem: check-in przy maszynie lub online (u mnie nie działało). Jeśli chodzi o pokój (jednoosobowy), to był czysty, łóżko duże i w miarę wygodne, łazienka w porządku. Największy plus to mały aneks kuchenny w pokoju z mikrofalą i sztućcami. Świetnie sprawdził się bardzo wydajny grzejnik. Był także telewizor smart TV oraz Youtube. Co prawda ściany czy elementy wyposażenia były trochę zużyte, ale mój pokój był naprawdę czysty, co jest NAJWAŻNIEJSZE. Ogólnie jestem zadowolony z pobytu w tym miejscu i jeśli cena będzie na odpowiednim, nie wygórowanym poziomie, to tu wrócę.

Z minusów to jedyne, o czym chcę wspomnieć, to pierwsze wejście do budynku. Skorzystałem z instrukcji, ale nie mogłem otworzyć drzwi. Dzwoniłem domofonem, ale drzwi się nie otwierały, mimo że miały być otwierane zdalnie. Na szczęście byłem tam koło 17:30 i akurat jeden z gości hotelowych wychodził z budynku, więc mogłem wejść. Dlatego też obawiałem się zostawiania bagażu w przechowywalni, bo martwiłem się, że nie uda mi się szybko wejść do budynku przed wylotem. Nie byłem jedyną osobą, która miała ten problem — rano jeden z nowych gości chciał dostać się do hotelu, aby zostawić bagaż przed zameldowaniem i dzwonek również nie otwierał drzwi.

No staff, all self serve, but excellent location, and a clean and comfortable room. value-wise it's right in the middle.

Nothing really, maybe a tad expensive for one person in a double, but for a couple it's quite alright.

Goede locatie, netjes, alles in de buurt. Fietsen aan de overkant en bakkerij onder het appartement. Keukentje heeft alles wat je nodig hebt.

Veel geluid in de straat. Toen wij er waren was het super mooi weer. Je hoort alles van buiten. In de kamer is het wat warm dus de ramen wil je open. Er rijdt ook af en toe een tram langs. En een vet irritante Ferrari die graag heen en weer rijdt 🤪

Well appointed, more than what you'd need in terms of classic comforts - a well designed kitchenette, spacious bathroom, beautiful windows with views of a bustling part of Oslo. Mostly quiet.

There were absolutely no outlets in places where you need them. When I reached out to the staff to see if they could help me by loaning me a extension chord, they took over 24 hours to respond that they needed another day to look into it. While the room is spacious, this really works against you when the only outlets close the bed are dozens of meters away across the eating area and by the mounted TV and kitchenette. Check-in and check-out are completely automated to the point of feeling austere and spooky, especially late at night. On the flip side, the lively bars and restaurants around the hotel keep the noise outside going pretty late if you're sensitive to noise.

View, cleanliness and location

Love the location. Very convenient. Plus, having a bathtub (although bath flooded due to clogged pipes).

Check-in machine not working upon arrival. Having to wait for night shift person to physically hand over keys. Bathroom flooded after using bathtub due to clogged pipes. Room was spacious but absolutely suffocatingly hot due to being a top floor slanted room with only a TINY window. Being forced to keep the window open, being kept awake by people drinking and hollering until 3 am.

The location and design of the rooms/apts are excellent. Things are easy enough on the check in. I never saw staff, so couldn't say.

The chairs were awful... At least 5 years past their best. Made it difficult to relax in the room because it was physically uncomfortable to sit in them.

Rommet er stort, fint og rent. Nydelig beliggenhet.

Varmekablene på badet varmer opp hele rommet og badet blir ekstremt varmt. Det er ikke ventilasjon, så luften i rommet blir ganske tung. Ikke så enkelt å få luftet dessverre.
