Stayed for a wedding, the venue was nice and the restaurant/bar area was lovely.

I couldn't enjoy the breakfast. It was too late for me. My request to have it 15 minutes earlier was denied. A lunch box was offered for an additional fee. In my opinion, this is very strange and unacceptable, since breakfast is paid for.

We always have such a lovely time here. Staff couldn't be kinder. Pool is ideal for families and plenty outdoor space for running around. Ducks a bonus!

There was only one lamp in the living room/ dining area so we had to have the big light on for reading. Also wee shampoos etc would have been nice. And should really have hairdryer in cottages.

De lokatie van Moness Resort is het goed. Het is er mooi en redelijk handig als je op doorreis bent van Noord naar Zuid Schotland.

De kamers, restaurant en de spa zijn redelijk outdated. In het restaurant zitten er vrijwel geen groenten bij de gerechten.

Set in beautiful sprawling grounds the resort offers independent living as well as the convenience of restaurant dining and other pleasure facilities. The apartment we stayed in had everything we needed with lots of space. Very quiet.

The furnishings are getting a little old but entirely comfortable and functional

Rooms were spacious, the hot tub was amazing, and the staff were very helpful and friendly. We also loved the access to swimming, towels, steam room and sauna; all you have to do is book at reception. We booked a meal for our extended family of 14 people and the meal and service exceeded our expectations. This is our second time staying at Moness and both visits are full of memories, happiness and lots of shared experiences. Aberfeldy is a lovely village to visit and is only a short walk away. Thank you very much.

Great place, fantastic area, and a really good location for seeing things, most attractions are around an hour to an hour and a half away. Great facilities too, although we didn't get to use the swimming pool or sauna this time. Staff were really helpful and went out of their way, can't fault the restaurant service staff. At breakfast, if you wanted a little bit extra or something not already out, they would happily get it for you. We stayed in a family room, and it was an absolute pleasure, honestly the best room we've ever stayed in. Small giggle though: I came back on the second day half expecting my Scottish biscuits to have magically reappeared! But they were not there.

Although half board was included, it didn't really feel like half board in practice, because you were limited on how much you could spend per person £25 per adult and £12.50 per child. In theory, you should be able to get a starter, main course, and dessert within that, but that's simply not possible. For a family of 3, we ended up spending at least another £40-£50 extra just to add a drink and a pudding, which defeats the point of it being "half board" in the first place. Be warned, especially if you're on a budget: you cannot get a starter, main, and pudding on the half board allowance, it's just not possible. In my opinion, half board should be a set chosen menu covering starter, main, and pudding (with drinks extra), so you know exactly what's included without constantly doing the maths on what you can afford. On a positive note, the menu itself was great, just could do with a lot more choice.

apartment was clean, spacious and set in attractive, well-maintained surroundings. The kitchen was reasonably well equipped with crockery, plates, bowls, pots and pans, which made self-catering easy. We also enjoyed the leisure facilities, particularly the heated pool, which was well maintained, and the changing rooms and shower facilities were clean and in good condition. Overall, the resort grounds were pleasant and provided a nice base for exploring Aberfeldy and the surrounding area.

There were a number of issues that detracted from the stay. The directions provided took us to closed gates and we spent around 30 minutes trying to find the correct entrance. Reception advised they were aware of the issue and that other guests had experienced the same problem, so it would be helpful if guests were proactively contacted or the directions updated. We also requested an early check-in at 3pm but did not receive a response until 4pm advising it could not be accommodated. The signposting around the resort was confusing, as apartments are numbered but the doors are identified by names rather than numbers, making them difficult to locate. Within the apartment, the living room sofa was badly worn and sank noticeably when sat on, the wash basin was partially blocked, and the additional bed provided was very low, uncomfortable and squeaked throughout the night. Basic self-catering items such as kitchen roll, recycling guidance and sufficient toiletries were also missing. The hot water was turned off at around 9am on check-out day while I was showering, resulting in an unexpectedly cold shower before departure. Given the premium price charged, I expected a higher standard of maintenance, communication and guest convenience.

Nice and quiet place. Many interesting locations in the vicinity. The number of people in the SPA area is limited which is a huge plus

The leisure facilities were good, the pool warm, sauna, steam room and changing areas clean. The upstairs bar was good, the staff were friendly and helpful. The food in the main restaurant was good, breakfast and evening meal nice. The French guy who served breakfast was cheerful and pleasant. The bedroom in the main hotel was clean and spacious, nice touch with the local shortbread.

The main reception staff were mixed. The female who checked us in on the Sunday didn't make it clear regarding accessibility to the leisure facilities and appeared uninterested in her job that day. The main hotel reception is shabby and requires upgrading. The restaurant after evening meal was soulless, the bar empty and the bar staff keen to close. One if the restaurant staff had dirty hands/nails and uniform. That should be addressed by management. The room we stayed in number 10, in the main hotel is above the plant room, it was uncomfortably warm due to this, even with the window open.

Een fantastische grote ruimte verdeeld over 2 etages. Beneden de slaapkamer, hal, en badkamer, boven de woon- ,eetkamer en keuken. En alles van alle gemakken voorzien. Daarnaast was er een gratis indoor zwembad met sauna en stoombad en jacusi. Vanuit dit resort kan je op lopend naar Aberfeldy, wat ook een leuk plaatsje is. Ook jan je op locatie je auto opladen.

Booked in with the beautiful Gosia for a lovely massage. Me and my partner said it was the best massage we’ve ever had. She was so professional and lovely. We loved the hotel, the breakfast was delicious aswell. Will definitely be back again

location great. space. we were self catering which suited us but we were still able to use the amenities for the hotel. All staff really friendly and helpful. Pool was great. 3 bed was plenty big enough for 7 of us (2 small children). Best powerful shower and always hot water.

we thought that overall the buildings were tired and need a little bit more of an upgrade. Beds were very hard. Kitchen utensils and pots and pans needed an upgrade.

It was beautiful

We thought the matradee was patronising towards other staff members at the flemyn restaurant. We were attempted to be seated by a lovely young girl and he pushed in and took over. Anytime the young waitresses tried to help with something he again took over at any given opportunity. I don't think this is fair or warranted even if they had been new staff, they should have been given the opportunity to carry out their job. They wer friendly, kind and smartly dressed. This gentleman appeared very much ( I'm the main character). But the rest of the staff were lovely and the older gentleman at the bar.

Been a few times before, knew what to expect. One night stay in hotel with breakfast, limited time available, was just perfect. Room was very clean, comfortable and spacious, had separate bath and shower, didn't expect that. Beautiful part of Scotland to visit.

Grounds are looking a bit tired, lots of weeds around back of houses next to path down to Aberfeldy. Exterior of all buildings could do with a refresh. Can't comment on interiors of cottages/houses as we were in hotel.

Moness is a huge resort. Both the grounds and the flat, however, are fairly outdated. The bathroom was new, but the furniture and kitchen were old (with the top layer peeling off one of the kitchen cabinets) - all felt a bit tacky.

Rooms were huge and nice

Excellent location and while being peaceful and quiet. Stayed in one of the cottages which were well equipped, beds were comfortable and had a great shower. Breakfast was outstanding and everything you could want was there. I had the full Scottish breakfast both mornings and it was delicious and served by friendly staff.

Although we didn’t use the sofa bed as a bed , it had seen better days as it was uncomfortable to sit on. But it wasn’t a problem as we were out most of our stay.

We liked the location

The furniture, fixtures and fittings were tired, worn and broken. The beds were uncomfortable. The welcome pack was poor. The roads within the resort were in a terrible state, even the sleeping policemen sank into the potholes.

Nous sommes venus à 4 personnes, la chambre avec lit était confortable, par contre, le canapé-lit dans le salon, pas confortable du tout. Du savon dans la douche aurait été apprécié.

We spent the weekend here for pur friends wedding. Friendly, welcoming and helpful staff. Food was excellent both at breakfast, dinner and the wedding meal. Our room was clean and spacious as was our bathroom. Huge wardrobe as well. Overall just a lovely place to be. Peaceful, picturesque. Efficient service. Highly recommend the Highland Cosmos. Delightful.

Great location to explore the area, close to the village for restaurants, shops and pubs. Great appartement in a lovely setting.

Nous n'avons passé que 2 nuits dans un appartement pour 5 (nous avons voyagé en famille avec 2 jeunes enfants de 6 et 8 ans). L'appartement est fonctionnel, propre, bien équipé. Le complexe hôtelier est agréable, collé à Aberfeldy (5 minutes pour arriver au centre) et à côté du départ de la petite randonnée des Birks (de jolies cascades en forêt). La piscine était sympa !

One of the best hotels we stayed at in Scotland. We stumbled upon this property and it is so spacious and lavish, with a wonderful restaurant and all kinds of facilities you'd want. We had a great time.

The location is absolutely beautiful, with stunning scenery and peaceful surroundings. The resort grounds are well maintained, and the spa facilities, including the swimming pool and jacuzzi, were excellent. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the apartment was spacious and clean. It was a great base for exploring Aberfeldy and the surrounding area.

The one-bedroom apartment at The Farm felt quite tired and in need of refurbishment. The furniture was worn, and the décor could do with modernising. The bathroom was the biggest disappointment, as the shower design isn’t fit for purpose and water flooded the bathroom floor after every use.

Disservizio, mancanza di elettricità in camera al mattino. Con necessità di trasferire i dispositivi alla reception per poterli avere carichi prima della partenza. Abbiamo acquistato la camera con mezza pensione e scoperto in loco che in realtà avevamo la possibilità di usufruire di portate solo fino a GBP 25 a testa. Peccato che quasi tutte le portate principali avessero un costo superiore. Con questa cifra, inoltre, impossibile aggiungere anche un starter.
