The staff were great and the food was excellent 👌
The staff were very friendly room good size with nice clean beedding and towels . Food was good and reasonably priced .
For price paid thete was no real issues to note
The receptionist who was working when I arrived (didn’t catch her name) made the stay very welcoming Would return again
Large Carpark
Twin Beds were extremely past there best, so soft and unstable the whole base and mattresses moved excessively as one, never experienced anything like them.. Load music from function next to the rooms. Unfortunately will not be returning.
Very comfy bed; good shower pressure in ensuite; generous refreshments in room; great location for travelling to Dubs of Rock festival (Cattows Farm); free parking; very friendly and helpful staff who gave me solid taxi recommendations
Bit dated and some marks on walls in the room but honestly didn’t bother me at all considering all my friends were camping at a festival and I had a clean and comfy bed and ensuite. Would be happy to stay again next year.
Breakfast was good, room was basic, hotel had no facilities.
No food or drink available on the evening we arrived. And the flower stand by the front door was full of cigarette butt's left by delivery drivers
Nothing very scruffy
Everything
Convenient for the place I was visiting
The bathroom very small
The bed was super comfy, staff were lovely and allowed us to check in early and the room service was brilliant
The food could have of had more flavour
Friendly staff
Rundown hotel. Broken plug in sink. Leaking shower hose. Dirty bathroom. Awful breakfast choice.
Upon arrival we were greeted by Yasmin who was extremely helpful throughout our stay. Rooms are quite dated but very clean with comfortable beds. The shower is a step into the bath.
The room having a shared door with the next room. Though locked, it wasn’t very peaceful due to TV sound coming through loud.
Staff were really lovely, welcoming and helpful. We didn’t require much from the reception team but we felt if we did need them, they would be really helpful. The carpark was close to the hotel with plenty of space when we booked. The price was good but this I believe was to do with the quality of the rooms and decor.
From the outside it looked disheveled and in need of updating. Stacked chairs and tables could be seen from the carpark which made me feel it was the rear end of the hotel. I believe it had had an upgrade earlier this year according to reviews but it still looked like it needed a lot of work. Dated gloss doors and surfaces. The room we were in was dirty, dust in the bathroom and pubic hairs on the bathroom floor behind the door. Faint smell of urine when we arrived also. I noticed a cleaner using a wet wipe style (flashmop) to clean the bathroom floors and this just didn’t feel like this was enough for hotel rooms. The shower tiles were in need of a good clean or professionally replaced rather than mending by someone unskilled. The bed was wonky, head end was lower than the foot end. We chose not to have our room cleaned throughout our stay but the cleaning staff were polite.
It was good value for money
Shame no bar
Felt let down by the breakfast, if your it's your policy not to include pork please make it known as chicken sausages and turkey bacon are a poor substitute and taste awful.
Great value and brilliant curry restaurant on site. Bicycle in room overnight.
Sink plug didn't seal
Location. Room bigger than we thought. Ground floor room as stairs would have been a problem but id asked how many stairs there were. They did everything to make our stay successful. Helpful cheerful staff. Machine to order taxi rather than having to call a cab. Reasonable breakfast at a good price..
Room was clean and basic, did the job for an overnight stay.
Everything was quite dated, but functional
Going to a gig at Victoria Bikers Club so couldn't be nearer ! Reception staff lovely & friendly. Bed very comfortable, good nights sleep.
Arrived ready for a relaxing drink in the bar only to find the bar was no longer there..completely removed ! Toilet brush in room en-suite complete with previous guests poo on it 🤢 No tea/ coffee making facilities in room & only one complimentary bottle of water for two of us
Location was perfect. Hotel was clean and comfortable with very helpful and friendly staff. Large free car park.
It's next door to the venue.
This is a very dated hotel. I've stayed before so I didn't expect much. Some power sockets didn't work and I think Stevie Wonder does the 'cleaning'.
Perfect location, friendly staff, clean comfortable room
Nothing
Very friendly staff.
Nothing definitely good value
Easy to find, good parking, staff were friendly and helpful

Expensive
Good location for the event i was attending with restaurant on site
Staff members were so nice 🙏
Near where I was going
Breakfast was grim
All the staff we came into contact with were friendly and helpful. Great variety of food choices for breakfast. Bedrooms clean and lovely little extras provided. Plenty of space for parking.
Very clean comfortable room. Staff very friendly and helpful. Bed comfortable. Would definitely use again if an overnight stay in this area was needed.
Put bar back in reception and serve traditional English breakfast, although the buffet breakfast was very good. No bacon or sausage served so substitutes used. We also didn't realise it had changed to an Indian restaurant.
We stayed here for 8 nights in total as we were visiting family in the area. The decor is in need of a refresh, but the room itself was clean and the bed was very comfortable. A bottle of water was left every day, and there was a kettle with coffee/tea and biscuits. The bathroom was clean, the shower was good and there were plenty of toiletries. The towels were changed every 1/2 days. There were plenty of clothes hangers. We didn't have breakfast and we didn't try the restaurant, although the menu looked good. The hotel is well located to walk into the town and has plenty of parking. All the staff were very friendly.
It was a little hot at times as the weather was very hot, but there was a fan provided which we used a couple of nights.
Easy access, free onsite parking, great view from the room
Bathroom could do with a little but of updating but it was clean and nice complimentary toiletries.
Stayed here whilst attending a festival. Good location for that and the beds were comfortable. The young girl who took out breakfast orders was lovely, very kind and helpful. Breakfast was good. Great options for a cold breakfast and hot breakfast cooked to order
Basic amenities but expected for the price.
The car park had painted lines. That was the best part.
The stains, the damaged room, to general Fawtly towers vibe.
Decent location, onsite Restaurant was absolutely amazing, Staff were great!
Beds not very comfortable, could do with new mattresses Bathrooms could do with an update Rooms quite stuffy, even with windows open, could do with some ventilation
Le repas indien vraiment délicieux Grande chambre
Pleasant staff room good size
Breakfast area tables could do with being cleaned don't go expecting a classic English breakfast with bacon and pork sausages it was turkey rashers and chicken sausages this should be on the description of breakfast when booking i personally wouldn't have booked breakfast knowing this though the continental was good and a good selection of cereals and toast
Convenience for a family & friends event
Very tired, sad looking hotel, incredibly dated and needs either knocking down or a complete refurb
Nice and airy
No bar
Easy to find

The room was clean and basic. Very hot in there (weather was very warm though) - a fan was provided though! It was all fine for our 1 night stay here. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was fine! Location for Donington was great!
The hotel seemed rather dated. It generally felt like a cheap 3 star but you get what you pay for.
Not to much .
Very uncomfortable 😕 beds no bar just not a good stay
Free parking and size of the room
That there wasn't a bar
Comfortable room and pleasant staff
Room a bit dated and looks tired
Stopped here several times now. Good location to access town centre. Big car park. Really friendly and genuine staff.
The bar has been removed from hotel which is disappointing.
Great location for our trip to Download
Nothing
Handy for Download Festival and it’s quiet, the breakfast is great and the staff lovely & friendly. We’ve been staying here for Download for a number of years now.
Nothing - it’s perfect for what we need.
It was nice and quiet there was free parking which was great and the staff were very helpful. The food was very good.
Everything was good. Thank you.
Clean. Good breakfast. Friendly staff.
Evening meal in the restaurant was exceptional one of the best curry experiences ever and reasonably priced.
Breakfast was very good and service was very pleasant. Hermitage Park is a nice hotel where I have stayed in the past, it's now looking a little tired in places. We had a very loose toilet seat and the bathroom door stuck so you couldn't actually close and lock it, minor things that could be easily recitified. But it's certainly very good value for money and I'd be happy to stay again
Only needs a bit of basic maintenance and attention in a few places.
Brilliant location, friendly staff and the breakfast was great!
Nothing
Easy check in, clean functional rooms and parking.
Staff very helpful and always polite Housekeeping staff very efficient Curry house on site , made for an easy relaxed family meeting Size of room Convenience for the town and visiting family
Loo seat! But we didn’t say it was loose Lack of drawers for a weekly stay , but I understand the hotel probably geared for shorter stays Step over bath for shower not convenient for us and a bath mat could have been supplied (but we didn’t ask) Cigarette buts in the flower pots that just grew as week went by General untidiness of gardens lowered the appearance of the hotel frontage ( we did have it explained that it was under review) but the cigarette buts and a quick weed would improve things greatly , I defiantly would be put off from holding a big family event due to it
Friendly helpful staff Good food.
Very helpful receptionist. When I complained about how dirty the room was, she changed my room immediately. The bed was very comfortable.
First room I was allocated: - the windows were dirty on the inside; - the windowsills were covered with dust, dirt and cobwebs . Second room I was allocated: - as above for the windows; - neither bath nor toilet had been cleaned.
Average
Better laid out, no knives for buttering toau Miniature spoons for cereal
Staff were great Not keen on breakfast-Turkey bacon and chicken sausage. Evening meal great- freshly cooked Indian cuisine Staff welcoming and helpful
The property is a little run down ,which is a pity. I opened the window and the bottom section was held on by Gaffer tape. As the temperatures rose the tape came adrift and the bottom part of the window fell off only to be saved by the security wire! The window sill was rotten and had clearly been temporarily repaired. The toilet seat had a mind of its own and one had to be careful sitting down not to get any dangley bits caught. Reported this on morning of departure and the receptionist just seemed resigned to the fact
The Restaurant. Absolutely excellent food and value. Lovely ambience. Great Staff. Our room was clean and comfortable.
The bathroom was far too small. Hardly any room to get in between the door and wash hand basin. 'Good job we weren't on the larger side"
Good price nice and clean
Nothing really bit tatty and dated ...looked a bit of a mess outside long grass and needs decorating
Na
Clean and tidy
Rooms need a bit of an upgrade.
Room was cleaned everyday, also stocked up with water, biscuits and everything else to make tea and coffee.

Proximity to family. Clean & comfortable. No stress for checking in or out. Kind & friendly staff. Easy parking. Lovely breakfast. Tx
Very hard pillows Hard mattress A refreshing stay all round even so
Reception staff were really good, evening meal was great
Could have been a couple more plug sockets in room
It was quiet with easy access to Coalville centre. English breakfast was cooked and you could still enjoy the international side too. Staff members were professional, polite and caring.
There was nothing wrong with the. Hermitage park hotel.
Free parking Clean Good restaurants on site
Despite contacting reception twice, the people in the room next to me blasted out music until 2.20am. There should be a zero tolerance policy on noise! I should have been offered a different room after my “neighbours” refused to turn their music off. I was exhausted in the morning when I got up for work!
We arrived late and the welcome was lovely. My husband is blind, it was dark and we were tired, the staff were so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was lovey. Thank you Hermitage.
Plenty parking good breakfast choice 👌
Very acceptable hotel. The Indian restaurant was particularly excellent.
The beds were a little soft.
The young staff on duty during our two days were excellent and helpful. The room was very tired but clean and tidy.
I had stayed in this hotel on a number of occasions in the past few years when attending a near by event. It's always been no frills but perfectly adequate for our needs and we had always enjoyed the cooked breakfast. That was until this stay where the hotel obviously has had new owners and the Cooked Breakfast no longer has any pork products. Turkey bacon and Chicken sausages do not a Breakfast make and had this been pointed out I would have found somewhere else to stay. Suffice to say I will not be returning.
Staff very pleasant, accommodation clean and appropriately apportioned representing good value.
There was no hot water. I stayed for three days/nights and had to boil the kettle to get any hot water for a shave and was forced to have a bird bath using the bin as a makeshift bucket.
Location was ok walking distance to Pub and shops
Shower water pressure low , in my mates room it didn’t work, mattress on bed dipped in the middle, no fridge in room
Ideal location for me
Clean and comfortable, it was nice and tidy.
No bar, breakfast from 0800-0930 was not up to much.
It was convenient for my Whitcamp holiday, staff were lovely
A bit dilapidated in places
Location was perfect. Room very clean
Bed was very soft. I prefer a firmer mattress
