The room service meals from the bar menu were average. The burger was undercooked by far and the vegetarian sandwich was simple and expensive for what' it was. The regional wine also tasted like vinegar. The Rioja was much better.

El ruido por la noche. Se oía todas las conversaciones de las terrazas contiguas porque nuestra puerta de la terraza no funcionaba y no se podía cerrar. Al no cerrarse, por la noche con la luz entraron bichos voladores. El spa es muy flojito, no tiene una buena relación calidad/precio El entorno es bonito, pero no tiene absolutamente ningún servicio y en el pueblo de Tejeda, a 15 minutos en coche lleno de curvas, solo están operativos de 10:00 a 17:00 No recomendable

Reviewed Aug 23, 2026Stunning location and out of this world views from our standard room, what more could we ask for? My 88 year father and I (51) shared a twin bed room and both felt it was one of the best hotels we had ever stayed in. Comfortable room and beds, large balcony and floor to ceiling windows with panoramic views that literally stretch for miles all the way to Tenerife in the west, over which the sun sets and produces some amazing sunsets. The hotel has the most gorgeous interior in the old building where the reception and lounge is, which never seemed to have anyone in it, which surprised me. Beautiful furniture, artwork, nothing brash, nothing in your face, just solid, understated, subtle and comfortable. Reception staff were excellent, friendly, helpful and welcoming. Room attendants cleaned the room and made the beds perfectly daily. Great wifi signal in the room and in other areas. The dining room, which also serves as the breakfast room, is one of the absolute highlights of the hotel: huge high ceiling space, floor to ceiling windows with a huge terrace outside with an adjustable awning to protect against the sun, with remote blinds on the windows which are adjusted as the sun sets. The menu was good, could have had a bit more choice but it was fine for us for the four nights we were staying there as we had a chance to try most of the main courses. We had some excellent local Gran Canaria white wines. The cold mango soup with anchovy was outstanding, and we had that two days in a row. Service was a bit slow as the number of waiting staff was limited but they were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was super, a massive choice of food. The spa was well worth the extra expense, it’s clean, well designed and the views from the pool and terrace, as well as the outdoor jacuzzi. Being high up in the mountains in the pine forest you can smell the pine scent in the air, which makes for an even more special experience.

El servicio de comedor en cuanto al personal estupendo, pero la comida escasa con muchos retraso y relación calidad précio la puntuaría como cara. En cuanto a la habitación, creo que las habitaciones en cuestión de pintura podrían mejorar bastante.

Die Preise haben sich doch drastisch mit den Jahren! geändert. Für einen Cocktail bezahlt man im Durchschnitt 12 Euro, zu teuer! Es gibt keinen preiswerten alternativen Cocktail (6 - 8 Euro). Man überlegt, ob man einen Zweiten bestellt. Der Tomaten- Salat, den ich gegessen haben, sah sehr appetitlich aus, schmeckte hervorragend, aber auch dort stimmt das Prei- Leistungsverhältnis nicht! - großer Teller, kleiner Inhalt!- und das für einheimische Tomaten! Mich hat es nie gestört, dass Touristen die gesamte Terasse mitbenutzen haben, zur Aussicht. Sie verweilen nur kurzeitig und ziehen witer. Jetzt ist der Hotelbereich abgerenzt und ich fühle mich als Gast wie im Zoo....nicht mehr so locker frei....Schade!

Les installations sont de grande qualité, le confort est au rendez-vous et l’atmosphère est propice à la détente. Un lieu idéal pour se ressourcer et profiter de la beauté de l’île. Je recommande cet établissement sans hésitation.

Preis/Leistung. Das Zimmer hatte eine wunderschöne Aussicht. Aber das war es dann auch schon. Die Klimaanlage war extrem laut.. Betten waren leider nicht bequem. Und das man für das Spa nochmal 40 Euro pro Nase für 1,5 Stunden extra zahlen muss ist bei einem Preis von über 400 Euro für 2 Nächte schon hart. Schade. Aber die Lage ist super!

C'est un peu cher surtout que pour accéder au spa il faut payer un supplément 35€/personne! même si vous résidez a l'hôtel. Le restaurant de l'hôtel est très cher mais il y a un restaurant plus abordable a proximité.

The service was a bit slow for breakfast. Not the fault of the staff who were very friendly and were working hard, but the management need to employ more staff!

Rund um das Hotel befinden sich viele atemberaubende Wanderwege, den Tag kann man anschließend bei bestem Essen oder im Hauseigenen Spa ausklingen lassen. Außerdem haben wir während des Aufenthaltes an einer vom Hotel organisierten astronomische Aktivität teilgenommen, die sehr spannend war. Alle Mitarbeitenden waren überaus freundlich sodass man sich wohlfühlen konnte.

Los inconvenientes fueron: Que hacía mucho calor, y el aire acondicionado estaba muy bajo, no enfriaba bien y no es lógico, pues estamos en el mes de julio. A pesar de haber hecho la reserva con mucho tiempo, nos dieron las habitaciones de la primera planta, que son las peores. No estaban mal, pero a ras del suelo.

Las habitaciones está bien son en ambiente de la naturaleza muy minimalistas pero siento para el precio y ser 4 estrellas muy bajo todo desde el diseño hasta la cama que aquí es donde viene la peor experiencia el colchón aparte de viejo ya está hecho polvo se hunde horrible no logramos descansar es un asco este,la verdad no repetiría ni recomiendo un hospedaje allí.

Reviewed Jul 1, 2026Die großen Betten sind sehr komfortabel. Der Blick in die riesige Caldera ist einzigartig. Die Lage ist wunderbar ruhig. Der gigantische Sternenhimmel wäre mit ausgeschalteten Strahlern auf der Terrasse noch wesentlich besser zu sehen. Das Personal ist freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Frühstück ist landestypisch und gut sortiert. Das an Hotel und Terrasse angegliederte Bistro ist ein angenehmer Ort für den Nachmittagskaffee, den Sundowner und/oder das Abendessen. Das Hotel ist der perfekte Ausgangspunkt für viele schöne Wanderungen in der Umgebung.
Der Zusatzpreis für die 90-minütige Nutzung des Wellnessbereiches ist mit € 35,00.-/Person deutlich zu hoch angesetzt. Vmtl. deshalb war dieser Bereich sehr oft ungenutzt. Die Wasserhähne in den Bädern sind viel zu kurz. Somit musste ständig die zwangsläufige Überschwemmung weggewischt werden. Die Bäder sind insgesamt etwas in die Jahre gekommen (Silikonfugen etc.). Der Speise- und Frühstückssaal wirkt aufgrund seiner Größe und enormen Raumhöhe relativ ungemütlich. Außerdem sorgte die viel zu kühle Raumluft ( Klimaanlage ) offenbar bei mehreren Gästen für eine Erkältung.

Le restaurant : la vue est incroyable, mais l’absence de musique et la salle immense peu remplie du au fait que nous étions hors saison, rendait l’ambiance assez froide. Nous avons de loin préféré l’ambiance de la cafétéria, plus cosy. De plus, les plats n’étaient pas fantastiques (produits locaux proposés, c’est un point positif!).

Er zijn parkeerplekken beschikbaar bij het hotel. Vanuit het hotel ben je met de auto vrij snel bij verschillende bezienswaardigheden. Het is mogelijk om een activiteit te boeken waarbij je op het terras van het hotel sterren gaat bekijken (wordt in Engels & Spaans verteld) interessant en leuk!
Om gebruik te maken van het zwembad moet je extra betalen, ongeveer €35 pp voor 90 minuten. Je mag dan gebruik maken van zowel het zwembad als de spa faciliteiten (sauna/jacuzzi etc). Er waren niet genoeg ligbedden beschikbaar. We vonden het restaurant/bar qua sfeer, service en eten tegenvallen (uitzicht maakt wel veel goed). Op loopafstand is er 1 ander restaurant maar deze sluit om 17u. Wifi werkte niet goed.

Although the food overall was very good, especially the breakfast a few of the dinner choices were disappointing eg the fish stew was tasteless.

Reviewed May 21, 2026Staff were welcoming and extremely helpful and friendly.The Location was stunning, and watching the sunset during our dinner was amazing.The food was superb ,and breakfast has to be mentioned as it was excellent.Five stars all round.
Surprised that there was no swimming pool.Heat in the spa area was intense and a little uncomfortable.

Ik zou m ook meer als bar inrichten met drankjes nu lijkt het n beetje op n kantine gaan steeds de deuren door naar de keuken etc.en niet te bereiken
