Riad l'Ayel d'Essaouira

Nagyon kedves volt a személyzet és nagyon jó lokációban is helyezkedett el a riad. A reggeli nagyon finom volt és nem kellett 1 percet se várni rá, minden igényünkre figyeltek.

Bello e accogliente, posizione strategica, staff molto disponibile e colazione fantastica. Ritornando a Essaouira riconfermerei la mia scelta.

Riad tres bien placé et agreable. Jolie décoration et Bonne literie. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié l accueil et la gentillesse de l equipe, particulièrement de Khadija qui nous a donné plein de conseils .

The breakfast was good, and the riad is also conveniently located, within walking distance of everything.

We had three major issues with this accommodation. The first was the room. We were given a ground-floor room that was extremely humid and noisy. It faces the street and also shares a wall with what seems to be a kitchen, so there was a lot of noise throughout our stay. We slept terribly during all three nights at the riad, and our baby woke up several times because of the noise. Our family members who stayed in a room upstairs had a much better experience in this regard. The second issue was the lack of suitable high chairs for babies or young children during breakfast. As parents, we really cannot understand how something so basic is missing, especially in an accommodation that welcomes families with children. It makes having breakfast much more difficult and uncomfortable when travelling with a baby. The third issue was the way the city tax was handled. We were required to pay the city tax in cash, despite the riad having a card payment machine. We could not find any information indicating that this tax is required to be paid in cash, which made us question the reason for this requirement. This also led to a very unpleasant situation with the receptionist. We had already checked out, and the city tax had not been charged at that point. When we returned only to collect our luggage, we were asked to pay it, but we had not realized that it had not been settled. As we did not have enough cash with us, we had to borrow money from our family members who were travelling with us. On top of that, the receptionist was quite hostile when I asked for a receipt for the city tax payment, which made the whole situation even more uncomfortable. Overall, these issues significantly affected our experience at the riad. While some aspects of the accommodation were pleasant, we unfortunately would not consider staying here again, especially when travelling with a baby.

Un riad de charme, au calme avec un accueil chaleureux. Un doux parfum d’eau de rose en arrivant. Petit-déjeuner incroyable de diversité à prendre sur la terrasse. Literie très confortable, nous avons dormi parfaitement.

Nous avons apprécié la gentillesse du personnel, la décoration, le calme, la propreté et les petits déjeuners variés.

Mention spéciale à la cuisine de Hanane et Bouchra, qui est absolument délicieuse ! Un vrai régal 😍 Un endroit idéal pour se détendre et profiter pleinement de la magie d’Essaouira. Je recommande sans hésiter ! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Excelente ubicación en la medina. Es un riad muy bonito, decorado con mucho gusto y muy limpio. Las camas son muy cómodas y el desayuno excelente. Las personas que trabajan en el riad son muy amables.

Reservamos una habitación doble y una triple, esta última era muy oscura y no tenía ninguna ventana.

Die Matratze vom Bett war ziemlich hart.

Très belle endroit, la situation géographique est pas mal, la chambre est spacieuse et propre. Le petit déjeuner est bien.

La ubicación es genial, cerca de todo. Si dejas el coche en el aparcamiento y luego vas andando unos 6min hasta el Riad. Los colchones muy cómodos. Un alojamiento tranquilo y seguro

L'emplacement est parfait pour visiter la vieille ville en étant pas loin d'une des portes d'entrées de la médina. La suite Berbère était très confortable (salle de bain immense). Le rooftop est très appréciable pour prendre le petit-déjeuner. Tout le personnel marocain est vraiment très gentil et bienveillant. Je recommande sans hésiter

L'équipe sur place est vraiment au TOP. La chambre que nous avons eu pendant notre séjour était vraiment très bien, le petit déjeuner est fabuleux "Fait maison". L'emplacement du riad est très bien et au calme. J'y séjournerai de nouveau sans problème

Nous avons séjourné 3 nuits dans la suite berbère. Très joli riad, décoré avec beaucoup de goût et très propre. Nous avons été accueillis avec un délicieux thé à la menthe et des pâtisseries, une attention très appréciée. Le personnel est accueillant, disponible et donne de très bons conseils (hammam, cours de cuisine, restaurants, taxis pour les transferts vers d’autres villes du Maroc). Le petit déjeuner fait maison est excellent. L’emplacement est parfait, au cœur de la médina, tout en étant proche d’une porte pour accéder facilement à la plage centrale. Le seul petit bémol est l’humidité dans les chambres, mais c’est un point fréquent dans les riads et pas spécifique à celui-ci. Nous recommandons sans hésiter !

Hosts were really friendly and gave us lots of information and a mint tea when we arrived. The room was big, clean and super comfortable - we had an amazing stay here and breakfast on the terrace each day was fabulous! Would definitely book to stay again!

Very nice riad. We had a large room on the top floor with windows, and I would highly recommend staying there. The breakfast was very good, especially the fresh orange juice. The staff were kind and spoke English well.

It can be noisy at night because of the muezzin prayer calls, but for us it added to the authentic atmosphere and overall experience.

Nous avons passés 4 nuits au Riad, situation parfaite, au calme mais central. Le personnel était aux petits soins et Camille très disponible pour nous donner des informations sur la ville et les activités. Le petit déjeuner était juste parfait et délicieux pour démarrer la journée. Nous avons aussi profiter d'une soirée avec la table d'hôte et le repas était délicieux.

Le riad est magnifique, notre chambre était spacieuse, bien décoré et très propre. Le personnel est vraiment accueillant et gentil, nous repartions à 5h du matin et avons eu le droit à un café et un gateau fait maison ! Les autres jours, le petit-déjeuner était servi sur la terrasse, et il était très bon et copieux. La situation géographique est la meilleure pour la medina : à 10 secondes d'une rue principale et à 2 min d'une porte de la médina menant à la plage

This was our final stop in Morocco, and although we only stayed one night, it was an excellent experience. The riad had a relaxed, beach-inspired atmosphere, and the room was charming, clean, and well-presented. The shower had strong water pressure, with reliably hot water. The host was welcoming and attentive, and the rest of the staff were consistently friendly and kind. The location was very central, allowing us to get around easily without needing taxis. Overall, a highly positive stay—I would return if visiting Essaouira again.

Ontzettend vriendelijk personeel, vertellen je alles over de omgeving! Zelf nog op de kaart, hoe leuk! Kamer was netjes en schoon, bed was beetje aan de harde kant, maar opzich prima! Ontbijt was top en personeel meedenkend en altijd in voor een praatje! Locatie is ook perfect!

Excellently placed and reasonably priced riad in the heart of town. The property is tucked away up a quiet side street but it’s only 30 seconds to the main route through the medina. The staff are friendly and accommodating. We would stay again if we return to Essauria. The breakfast is nice, too.

La chambre toute proche de l entrée un peu bruyante.

Die Lage war toll inmitten der Altstadt, Das Personal großteils sehr freundlich. Das Zimmer im 1. Stock gemütlich eingerichtet.

Die Zimmer waren ziemlich dunkel, insbesondere jenes im Erdgeschoss (hier gab es kein wirkliches Fenster). Das Frühstück war gut, aber es war im Februar noch ziemlich frisch auf der Terrasse.

Séjour parfait au sein de ce riad. Camille et son équipe a su nous accueillir chaleureusement, nous a transmis un carnet d'adresses tant pour la restauration que les activités. Les petits déjeuners sur la terrasse au soleil étaient aussi copieux que fabuleux !

Tout est parfait et particulièrement la gentillesse et l’hospitalité des personnes qui nous reçoivent. Le riad est très joli et bien entretenu et idéalement placé dans la médina.

On a apprécié l'accueil, simple, soigné et attentionné, le calme tout en étant tout proche de la médina, les bons conseils tout au long du séjour, le petit déjeuner vraiment super délicieux et fait maison...et le thé à la menthe évidemment. On a aussi eu l'occasion de manger sur place (sur réservation) et c'était super bon également. L'équipe sur place était vraiment très sympathique, simple et humaine, et pour des vacances en famille c'était l'idéal. On a même pu avoir une adresse d'un petit pressing pour faire nos machines de linge....

Lovely, friendly staff and a beautiful riad in a perfect location for exploring the area. Everything within walking distance and 2 minutes from the main thoroughfare. A lovely room on the ground floor, with small seating area and a spacious bathroom. Great heating (which sadly we needed in January) and a general sense of calm around the whole residence. A beautiful roof top terrace to enjoy some sunshine. An easy walk from the bus station. We would definitely return here if we visited again. Thank you. 😊

- la gentillesse et la bienveillance du personnel - le petit déjeuner très bon et servi avec soin - l'emplacement, très pratique pour découvrir la ville dans une rue calme.

Lors de notre voyage, la météo était pluvieuse. Résultat : l'humidité était très présente dans notre chambre (murs humides, et même mouillés rien qu'en posant la main), ainsi que dans la salle de bain (moisissures, odeur désagréable). J'ignore si c'est propre à tous les ryads de manière générale en cas de pluie l'hiver. Cela a rendu notre séjour moins confortable qu'espéré.

It was quite hot during our visit and our room only had a window opening into the internal courtyard,which was pretty hot during the night. The other rooms have better ventilation, our own fault when booking!
